The pizza was very tasty but huge. Can easily be shared between two people. I didn't manage it. The pizza can also be ordered with different toppings, really good. The service was very attentive and friendly. The only drawback is that the tables are very close together, but since there wasn't much going on when we visited, it didn't bother me that much.

Food was quite good, as you would expect from Losteria. The price has risen in recent years but that is now normal. We made a reservation and were still allowed to wait a good 15 minutes. The waiter was relatively new and took a long time to take our orders, but that was okay. However, 3 pizzas arrived a good 20 minutes earlier than the rest of the order, so eating together was not possible. Nogo. It was even worse when I unpacked the remaining pizza at home. It was just crushed and thrown in like a bill had been crumpled up... definitely a big nogo. About the atmosphere: it was far too loud, some soundproofing would do the bare walls a lot of good...

So the pizza is super big, tastes very good, it can feed two people, I didn't quite manage it and as a half-Italian that's not usually possible 😃 and the service was good and the price was ok too

Besides being basically the only decent place around open .. it is actually pretty nice .. spacious, comfortable.. offering pizza, pasta and some salads .. Pizzas are good and large .. great impasto , good ingredients. Nice and kind service. Good value for money.

I'm a bit stunned by the behavior of the waitress right now, I'm sitting here and she's cleaning the table and throwing all the dirt, including the paper coaster, onto the floor. No, not accidentally, but on purpose, she took it in her hand and threw it onto the floor The motto “the cleaning lady can clean it up” is crazy even at the restaurant but that’s not possible!

I went to L'Osteria and absolutely loved it! The atmosphere was lively and inviting, perfect for a cozy evening with friends or family. The pizza is huge and incredibly tasty - the thin, crispy base and the fresh ingredients just came together perfectly. The pasta was also excellent, perfectly al dente and with a great selection of sauces. The staff were friendly, attentive and made us feel truly welcome. Even with a full house, the service ran smoothly. The value for money is definitely right here - with the portions, no one will go home hungry. I can only warmly recommend L'Osteria and look forward to my next visit!

We ordered lasagne, pasta carbonara and pizza. We really liked the pizza - it was juicy, tasty and big. The mince in the lasagne was tasteless, the carbonara was too greasy. The service was fast and pleasant, although there were many visitors.

It's primarily about the food...and there's nothing to complain about. Both courses tasted good and we all enjoyed them. We also appreciated the prominent location close to the opera house. However, do you have to be on first name terms with elderly guests over 80? We found it a bit inappropriate. Communication should be fair to the recipients.

The quality of the food has significantly decreased! You can no longer eat pizza dough. Only flour can be felt.

Unfortunately the visit wasn't really good. The food is of course not authentic Italian, but regardless of that, one person who doesn't eat meat was served a dish with meat, and another person was served a dish that they hadn't ordered, which was clearly too spicy. If a person doesn't eat meat for religious, ethical or similar reasons, then it simply shouldn't be allowed to happen. Finally, all I can say is that the food is basically mediocre, the pasta dishes in particular are rather subpar when you take the authenticity and the price into account.

Schreckliches Caesar Salat. Pizza war eigentlich okay aber Cesar Salat war erst mal nicht frisch, die knuspis waren weich wie Gummi hänchen war wahrscheinlich gestern Gebraten und heute nur aufgewärmt, durchgezogen ohne Ende. Null, nichts Geschmack. Nach der Frage der Kelner ob es alles okay war was hab ich als Antwort bekommen? Sie kann eine neue machen – hae? Ich glaube es nicht.

Er begrüßte uns mit einem warmen Lächeln und stellte sicher, dass wir uns sofort wohlfühlten.Es war offensichtlich, dass er großen Wert auf den Service legt und sich um das Wohl seiner Gäste kümmert. Während des gesamten Abends war Kuba stets zur Stelle, ohne aufdringlich zu sein und fragte regelmäßig nach, ob alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit war.

Pizza was great as always, unfortunately this time we had to wait quite a long time. However, staff was friendly.

Despite a spontaneous visit in the evening and a full house, we got a table to ourselves. The service seemed a little overwhelmed with the amount of people, but this didn't change our mood that evening. The portion of the carbonara was definitely generous and you were more than satisfied. The taste is also great. In the long run it was a little too loud for us, which spoiled the overall impression a little. Of course the restaurant can't handle the huge rush, but the loud music combined with the noise of the people didn't make communication any easier. I think with so many people there is no need for extremely loud music. Overall, it's worth a visit because you can stop by spontaneously and eat cheaply.

We ordered a pizza and zucchini noodles. Overall, the food was quite good, but it didn't blow our minds. My companion found the baked ham on the pizza disgusting.

I ordered here and was amazed at the measly portion size. For €16.75 I was expecting more gnocchi. If you want to be full, I can't recommend Gnocchi Gamberetti.

Reserved today arrived on time. What was said was that we hadn't made a reservation. My companion, who had already arrived 5 minutes earlier, was laughed at as to whether she had really reserved it and whether it would have been here (laughed and commented condescendingly) as nothing was reserved in the name. 2 minutes later I arrived and showed my confirmation email because the gentleman at the entrance said the same thing and that nothing with the name was reserved. We got a table straight away because he saw that it was confirmed. 5 person table with note that there would be a stroller. After we sat for 5 minutes, the new waiter found the place for the stroller to be out of order and tried to reposition it. Since he noticed that no one was bothered because the shop was half empty, he put it back in his previous spot. We said because we hadn't been sitting there that long whether it bothered us so much that we should move around. His arguments were that no more than 4 people could sit there. We waited for 10-15 minutes then a waitress came and instead of taking our order... no, she asked us to move from the big table to the other table. It wouldn't have been a problem, but a few things had already piled up and to top it off, we waited another 10 minutes until we could place our order and after we were finished taking the order we saw the same amount of family had sat down at our previous table and placed the stroller in the same way. Nice to see that it wasn't a problem for them. The food is undoubtedly delicious and the waitress who served us was very friendly, but everything made me so angry that I wanted to get up and go to another restaurant. I would give you 0 stars for service!

We always enjoy going here. But today our reservation was not found. 2. the employees were very unfriendly and laughed at us about the reservation, saying we were in the wrong place and wanted to send us away despite the reservation confirmation. So you only get 4 stars for the food and only 1 for the rest. So it's just rude how they treat customers. Here there is no customer is king.

It was very crowded as there was a wine festival in town. So everything took a little longer but the wait was worth it 😉 the food was very tasty 😋. My husband had the Penne Arabiata & it was really spicy 🔥🤭 we all enjoyed it. The service person was super nice & funny.

We were there on Friday evening and the crowd was really enormous. We were immediately greeted by a nice waiter who let us pass the waiting time at the bar. When we came outside, we were assigned a waitress who we weren't that impressed with. She didn't talk to us very much and often forgot the polite forms: 1. She came to the table, put the cutlery down with a lot of momentum, which made her startle but ignored it 2. When we were clearing up, my sister got a nice load of parmesan on her pants You could tell that she wanted to pass on our table because she also cleared away drinks that weren't completely empty. Unfortunately, that made the whole evening un-relaxing and even if the good lady was stressed/overwhelmed, there has to be a way to solve this in a different way instead of scaring away the customers. Regarding the food: We all actually liked it, I just found the size of a whole pizza a bit unsightly, as it went way beyond the edge of the plate. In addition, the four of us received our food with a delay of more than 10 minutes, which unfortunately meant we couldn't eat at the same time. Regarding the ambience: It is beautifully designed outside, right on a beautiful square and equipped with plenty of Mediterranean and well-maintained plants. Another positive aspect was the price-performance ratio, which is really very humane by today's standards.

Thursday evening - It took 35 minutes to place the order 👎 - Bring drinks to the table in another 15 minutes - I ordered pasta and pizza for my son - the pizza came 10 minutes after the pasta - an absolute no go! - There was a plant at the table from which over 30 flies over time disturbed the meal and no reaction from the staff - after moving into a table it was unbearably loud and you couldn't enjoy any food - Payment took another 20 minutes All in all, extremely dissatisfied and everything took considerably too long.

The L'osteria in Dortmund is a real attraction. This is not only due to the fabulous food and drink but primarily to Cuba's world-class service. This waiter brightens every customer's day and ensures a first-class stay. Without Cuba the place is running out of control so play it smart and go to Losteria, exactly! I rarely say something like that, but I take my hat off here. The food is outstanding, as is the price-performance ratio. The service couldn't be better and Cuba deserves special mention.
