Telephone reservations are immediately declined by the staff. You're supposed to do everything yourself online. No thanks! Misunderstood digital pressure doesn't lead to a better service experience. Unfriendly tone, and why would anyone even answer the phone if the guest is supposed to do everything themselves? A terrible impression, coupled with previous poor service experiences there.

We arrived at the restaurant around 6:30 p.m. We got a nice seat by the window. The service was excellent and cheerful, and the food arrived in about 30 minutes, piping hot. The pizza was huge and incredibly delicious. The price was also completely reasonable. I highly recommend it.

We were a group of 13 people – two teachers and 11 students – at L'Osteria (an Italian restaurant). I ordered a Caprese Burrata, Bruschetta, and a Hawaiian Pizza, and everything was truly delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. We were particularly impressed by the Burrata. The service was very friendly, attentive, and pleasant, making us feel immediately at ease, even with such a large group. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable visit – we will definitely be back!

Unfortunately, I can't recommend this restaurant at all, as you don't get what's advertised on the menu. I think the value for money is poor. It doesn't taste good and is simply overpriced. There's also no parking on-site. If you decide to visit this restaurant, it's better to take public transportation. I also don't think the service is good, as you have to wait a long time to be served and get your food. We won't be eating there again.

L’Osteria is such an amazing place with great vibes, good music, and a wonderfully welcoming team. The staff are kind, attentive, and make you feel warmly greeted every time. I’ve loved everything I’ve ordered here—especially the bruschetta (absolutely love it!) and the chicken barbecue pizza 🍕. The management is super friendly, which makes the experience even better.🌼 Definitely a spot for enjoying quality time along with delicious food. Highly recommended!

My pizza with grilled vegetables was really meager in the toppings. I would have preferred a smaller pizza with a decent topping. The mixed salad was anything but crisp and had obviously been sitting for a while. Unfortunately, there were no ice cubes on August 12, 2025. So my Aperol didn't really taste good on such a hot day, and the white wine wasn't really cold either. Overall, disappointing.

Two stars only because the terrace looks nice and the food is delicious. Otherwise, there are only criticisms. Overly excitable waiter (presumably the head waiter that day), inattentiveness of the other waiters, an endless wait for drinks, 20 minutes for the bill (we ended up going to the cash register to pay). We won't be coming back here.

Today, August 17, 2025, was a terrible experience. We encountered two young, completely unfriendly, snippy, and bad-tempered employees, both with long hair and obviously lip fillers. They are clearly completely overwhelmed and unsuited for their jobs. For their repeated inability to take orders, they repeatedly blamed us, the guests, in an unfriendly and snippy tone. They also showed complete indifference to our warnings about their misconduct. This continued throughout the entire evening, including the payment (they didn't even place everything that was served in a normal position, but rather "slammed" it down). Finally, at 10:30 PM, they removed us from the terrace, citing the need to observe quiet hours. This was also incomprehensible, as there were only two of us on the entire terrace, talking quietly. I will never again enter this establishment where you are treated so rudely. I have never experienced anything like this in a restaurant.

Average to poor service. Each meal came separately. The ice cream for dessert was completely forgotten. The appetizers, unfortunately, were forgotten as well. Thanks for what will surely only be a one-time visit.

I visited L'Osteria on Savignyplatz with friends again and were once again completely thrilled! After our last visit, where everything was perfect – from the service to the delicious food – we were looking forward to our return. This time, you exceeded everything! All three pizzas were crispy, cooked to perfection, and tasted simply divine. The toppings were first-class and the flavor was amazing. You can tell that a lot of love and care goes into the work here. I can confidently say that you are now the number 1 L'Osteria in Berlin! Thank you for the wonderful evening and the excellent food. From Frankfurt am Main, and as a L'Osteria fan, I ended up here by chance. 🤗 The staff, especially Alina and Kathrhin and their team, are excellent. Their warm and very positive charisma gives the restaurant an open and very friendly/family atmosphere. You feel like home here. Rarely do you find such an optimal combination of exemplary guest service and excellent food quality in restaurants. Other L'Osteria locations should take L'Osteria's Berlin Savignyplatz as a reference. Thank you for the fantastic dinner in such a warm and family atmosphere. I don't usually give bad reviews, but this time I have to. I was visiting Berlin and I was really craving pizza, so I chose LOsteria via Uber Eats. But this pizza was really bad. It's okay to say you always make a thin crust, but this pizza was so dry and the crust was so thin that you couldn't even really taste the cheese, just the ham. And for €18, I was expecting something different. I called personally and they tried to explain themselves to me, but they hung up in the middle of the conversation. It's a real shame, because I usually eat at LOsteria quite often and have never had any problems. So I'm even more disappointed that they hung up in the middle of the conversation. They offered me a free pizza with my next order. But I don't think there will be a next time.

Our family actually loves L'Osteria, but we didn't like the one on Savignyplatz at all... It's unusually cramped (compared to other L'Osterias). It was very loud that evening, and the waitresses, while very nice, seemed understaffed, as we had to wait a long time for everything and they seemed very stressed. The "crowning" moment was that the two pizzas our kids had only half eaten and that we wanted to have packed to take home disappeared into the kitchen, and we had to leave without them. We've decided that if we ever go to L'Osteria again, it will definitely be a different one!

A large house salad as a starter was very tasty. A pizza for two with a variety of toppings was generously topped and also tasted good. To finish, an espresso was also nice and strong and aromatic. Plus, friendly and pleasant service... and all at a fair price/performance ratio. I'd be happy to go again!

The food is good, but the serving is made mainly by students, that are more or less trained, some of them have no idea about basic human interraction. To be more specific, I will give one example: There are pistazios available at the entrance, and after we saw the UberEats drivers eating from those, we also tried. It came to us angry a blond young girl (speaking perfect german) that was serving there and basically yelled to us that 'Those needs to be payed!' with an attitude like she was our boss or the police. After that she was runnning bossy around, ignoring us for a while, until she made the huge effort to TELL us where to sit. This happened this spring, since then we did not go there

We went to L'Osteria on Savignyplatz in Berlin. The terrace is a lovely place to end a beautiful summer's day. The terrace is huge. The last time I was here, it was a Spanish tapas restaurant with a great atmosphere. Unfortunately, L'Osteria no longer has that. Now we come to the food. I had a salad. INSALATA AVOCADO GAMBERETTI (mixed baby leaf lettuce, cherry tomatoes, cucumber and radish mix, avocado, prawns, house dressing I got a plain lettuce with a few puny, dried shrimps on it. They had run out of avocados. I agreed. But see for yourself what I got for almost 16 euros. Unfortunately, the pizza was nothing special either. People, if you want to sit on a terrace OK. Don't expect too much from the food. And it also takes a long time until you get something. The service is pretty slow.

Very good food, even if the pizzas don't resemble classic Italian pizzas (the crust is too thin at the edges, it looks like Flammkuche). We had delicious pasta, and for the starter, the platter with a bunch of small appetizers. Delicious. The terrace under the enormous wisteria is superb! The service was a bit slow; we had to wave several times to the waiters, who didn't even look at us...

I would like to give you feedback on my recent visit to your restaurant, as I had the same experience for the second time within a few weeks. I ordered the large antipasti plate, which was advertised on the menu as containing burrata. Unfortunately, I was served standard mozzarella instead, without being informed in advance that burrata was no longer available. I find it disappointing that this was not communicated transparently, but rather a different ingredient was simply placed on the plate – this doesn't feel fair to the guests. Furthermore, the pizza has been served cold or lukewarm several times, as the restaurants are apparently understaffed. Furthermore, I found your usher's behavior arrogant and ignorant, as she didn't address the situation and didn't apologize. Only the server made an effort to rectify the situation and apologize for the misunderstanding. I hope that your employees will communicate better with each other in the future and treat guests openly and respectfully. I sincerely hope that you will consider this feedback as constructive criticism and take appropriate measures to improve our service and communication.

I normally don’t write reviews; been in Berlin last 15 days and had the most amazing food and service so far until today. We went around 830pm today on Saturday without a reservation; waited 15 min to be seated, which wasn’t bad at all..first we were moved to another table after getting seated as there was some misunderstanding between the waitress, that itself was a first for us in Berlin..got our appetizer and drinks in 10 minutes which was great and then we got our food a good hour later… Which was not just annoying but also very irritating as everyone around us who came much later than us was being served while we watched. I would have understood if it was anything different ; we just ordered a pizza and pasta. We were told we got served late since we ordered appetizers… so another advice if you are hungry don’t order appetizers.. that too a caprice salad burrata ; if you want to build up an appetite and have a couple of hours then go for the the appetizers; Advice to mgmt don’t seat people you don’t like to serve… felt we were unwanted which I said so as well. At the end the food was decent specially the pizza ; Regardless how good the food is this type of service should raise red flags.. be decent turn down people if you can’t serve them properly. And also hire people who are more welcoming rather than sick of their jobs.. everyone can show them an attitude… good luck!!!

(This was previously a 5* review from regular guests.) The young employee with the conspicuous nose piercing is unfriendly and makes us wait forever in the almost empty restaurant, assigns tables arbitrarily, doesn't accommodate requests, and is very disappointing for this previously top-notch restaurant. This is not how you treat guests...!!! Katharina, on the other hand, recently served us excellently, which is why she gave us a second star. A real shame!

My mom and I had a delicious vegetarian pizza, which we shared because it was simply enormous. It's a great service that you can share all the pizzas and have different toppings. The tiramisu and especially the mascarpone cream with strawberries were very good. I usually go to L'Osteria am Alex, but I always come here, too, and I'll reserve a table again soon. The service was excellent, thank you very much!

Solid quality from the well-known restaurant chain in a beautiful location in Berlin-Charlottenburg. Unlike other locations, you can relax outside on the terrace in good weather. In strong sunshine, opt for an outdoor spot under the wisteria, as it quickly gets too hot. Two parking spaces for electric vehicles are directly across the street.

We waited 90 minutes for a pizza and tortelloni and the place was only half full 😡 Okay, it was tasty, but if you're hungry you should go somewhere else.

We had reserved a table for 7 p.m. and arrived on time. After 10 minutes, our order was taken, and then the awkwardness began. The food was served after another 80 minutes of waiting. It was delicious 👍, but what the hell is going wrong in the kitchen? Guests at the neighboring table even waited 2 hours for their main course 😡😡😡 If you're hungry, you definitely shouldn't go here 👎

The restaurant's ambiance is truly appealing and invites you to linger. Unfortunately, the service has been rather disappointing on each of our previous visits. The "please wait to be seated" policy is generally acceptable, but there was a lack of a positive greeting – we had to approach someone ourselves to even be noticed. Even with the restaurant's lightness, it took an unusually long time for the food to be served. It's a shame, because the beautiful surroundings alone aren't enough to provide a completely positive experience.
