L'Osteria Augsburg in Augsburg

We were a group of nine at the restaurant on New Year's Eve at 7 pm. When we wanted to order dessert at 8:32 pm, we were told that we could only get drinks because they were closing at 10 pm. An hour and a half before closing time?! What kind of service is that? That's a surefire way to drive customers away. I understand the staff want to celebrate too, but they should at least inform guests beforehand!

Good pizzas, as expected. Good lunch specials.

We visited on two different days shortly after 10 pm. According to Google's opening hours, they're open until 11 pm and deliver until 10:30 pm. On both visits, we were told the kitchen was already closed. When we pointed this out, the server was very unenthusiastic and got the manager. We told him that Google said they were open until 11 pm. He seemed very disinterested. This is reason enough for us not to go there again.

Excellent service. The pizza was a bit pricey, but correspondingly huge.

We ordered pizza for home delivery twice, and each time some of the toppings we specifically ordered were missing. Today we ordered pizza again, and it arrived cold, and once again, some of the toppings were missing. The problem is, the children were so excited about the pizza that they immediately took it from the driver without checking it because they were so eager to get it. We ordered four cheeses with garlic. The pizza tasted bland, not like four cheeses at all, and had no garlic. It only had two types of cheese on it. We will never order from Osteria Augsburg again.

There were five of us. The food arrived in portions large enough for all of us to eat together. All the dishes were delicious. The service was very friendly. The only slight downside was the noise level, which took some getting used to, but wasn't particularly bothersome. I'm going back to L'Osteria on December 26th when I'm back home in Leipzig. I ordered penne arabiata there, and it arrived absolutely disgusting. First off, they didn't include any Parmesan cheese, even though I'd asked for it. The penne was so mushy, and the sauce was completely bland and tasted like a store-bought sauce. I lost my appetite when I saw it. The salad wasn't appetizing either; I even found a hair in it. The worst part is, I've ordered from there more than once, thinking maybe it was just a one-off. But every single time, the pasta has been awful and tasted like nothing when it was cold. To everyone who wants to eat at Losteria, go to the one in Lechhausen! The pasta there is so delicious.

We arrived right after work at 5:30 pm, and the parking lot was only half full, but the two of us were able to find a cozy corner spot. The pizza and salad arrived quickly, as usual, and were delicious, although I would have preferred a little more dressing. Despite the restaurant being full later on, our server was incredibly friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back.

We got a table for several people without an appointment. The selection is great as always, and it's also nice that you can get half and half toppings on the pizza. The place is great and currently decorated for Christmas. We'll definitely come back when we're in the area 🤗

I can't complain much. The food was great, and the service from the waiters was fantastic. However, I had made a reservation and mentioned it was for a birthday. Unfortunately, the waiter who showed us to our tables was clearly stressed, and after we said we didn't want to sit in the middle but preferred a quieter corner, he simply said that wasn't possible and ran off. It wasn't a very pleasant experience, especially since I had specifically requested that. Luckily, a few people left, and we asked the waiter if we could have them, and he kindly arranged it for us. 😊

There were four of us, and we arrived at 5:00 PM and had until 7:30 PM. The restaurant was more like a train station waiting room. It was uncomfortable, drafty, and cold, and the music was far too loud. The service was good (quick and friendly). The food quality, well... The pizzas were huge, but the Pizza Marinara had some seafood floating by, and the crust and edges were more like army rations. The pasta portions were okay. We weren't too upset that we left at 6:30 PM.

Every year at Christmas time, thank you so much for the great service.

The pizza was, as usual, very large. The place is loud. So, definitely not suitable for families with children. Also, a place where you don't want to hear too much. Awesome.

There were two of us for dinner, and we had pre-ordered. The food was, as always, delicious and absolutely plentiful. The price-performance ratio was also perfectly fine. The only slight drawback was that the space at our table for two was a bit too cramped next to the other tables. But that, of course, is purely subjective.

I like the atmosphere. The service staff is top-notch, very friendly and attentive, and the food portions are very large. You'll definitely leave satisfied with every order. The price-performance ratio is absolutely justified.

Pizzas were large and tasty. Good service. Restrooms were poorly maintained. Addendum: My family and I subsequently contracted the norovirus. Apparently, a member of staff was infected and spread the virus. I even had to be hospitalized for two nights.

Food poisoning!!! We ordered a seafood pizza and a small salad on November 14th, 2025 at 6 PM, and within an hour my wife and I had become very ill. We spent the entire night in the bathroom, and the next day we both had fevers. I can't say whether the pizza or the salad was bad, but I will never order from here again!!!

I'm not originally from Germany, and we decided to try this pizza place because a friend recommended it. We ordered two pizzas to take away, and unfortunately they were extremely thin and burned — honestly the worst pizza I've had. We decided to give it a second chance and went inside this time, but the quality was almost the same. There won’t be a third chance, sorry.

Everything was perfect! The pizza, for example, had lots of toppings and was always crispy.

Normally we're satisfied with everything. But today, nothing was right. The woman, who supposedly has worked there for seven years, was very unfriendly and inexperienced. She refused to give us two plates for our two half pizzas, insisting on one. She served my tomato soup as dessert after the pizza because we ordered everything together. I had started with tomato soup as my appetizer.

We were there with the family, the very friendly waiter came immediately and we were able to order quickly. The food was very good, as always. We'll gladly come again 😊

Disappointing visit – poor value for money and poor service Yesterday, we went to L'Osteria with a group of 8 people and had reserved a table in advance. When we arrived, tables were hastily pushed together – no sign of any preparation. The greeting began with the information that the table was available "only until 9 p.m." – not exactly a warm start to the evening. It was particularly unfortunate: Our group included guests who were visiting L'Osteria for the first time. Unfortunately, the impression was anything but positive. I ordered the pumpkin salad, which is listed on the menu as €15 – absolutely overpriced. The salad consisted mostly of wilted leaves and was buried under a mountain of Parmesan cheese. You had to practically hunt for the pumpkin, and the portion size was more like a small side salad than a main course. Our follow-up drinks were also forgotten, and when we ordered espresso, the sugar was missing – we ended up having to get it ourselves. Overall, the evening was disappointing: disorganized service, poor food quality, and poor value for money. For us, this was definitely our last visit to L'Osteria.

It's always a disaster ordering from you via Lieferando or UberEats. Delivery usually takes almost two hours, and the food arrives cold. Then you charge such prices. Never again!

We went out for dinner and had two pizzas. They were super, super delicious, as always. Service was a bit sparse when we asked for our drinks after about 15 minutes, and all we got was a rude reply and an arrogant grin. Unfortunately, despite showing them at the time of payment, no points were credited to our loyalty card... which is a shame, because we actually really enjoy going to L'Osteria.

Overall impression: not good Food: good Unfortunately, the staff were rude and would have liked another drink, but... A group of 6 adults (minimum) and 4 small children was allowed to sit in a corner for 2-4 people with small, low tables and sofa chairs... who, of course, formed a circle and were incredibly loud, or even wanted to climb onto the couches behind the guests. Congratulations on your profit-oriented approach.

Today the order was delivered more than max 50 min stated in the delivery (actually took 1 h 15 min). Also, the pizza is cold and not fresh, it looks like it was cooked a long time ago and was just warmed-up. The desert box was not sealed. Absolutely dissatisfied with the order and “burned” money.

Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The delivery took far too long – when the pizzas finally arrived, they were already completely cold. Fresh and warm should be a given when ordering pizza. Unfortunately, eating like this isn't enjoyable.

Update 09/25/2025 There's new staff allocating tables. We had to leave today after not getting a decent table. No concessions were made, even though a quarter of the tables were free. A reservation made by phone at the same time was also confirmed by the system but rejected by the staff. That's how you drive away long-time guests.

I like the concept of the L'Osteria chain, which is why I've had the opportunity to experience numerous restaurants. But no other restaurant lives up to these values ​​like Pfersee. The quality of the food, the professionalism of the service, and the ambiance of the premises have been above average from my first visit to this day – within the entire chain. In my experience, this is the best L'Osteria I know.

After being disappointed several times by other branches (Berlin Mahlsdorf and Augsburg Lechhausen), we were completely satisfied here! The server (a young man with dark curls) was incredibly attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. Not pushy, just super attentive! The doors were open to air out the place, and he asked if it was too cold, which isn't something you'd take for granted. Everything was tidy and clean! The pizzas were delicious, as was the side salad! We'll be back!! Thank you!

Never again. I was there to celebrate a birthday. There was a code on the table for direct payment, so I used it. The waitress said, "They don't like using it at large tables," and that she canceled my payment. Three months later, they haven't resolved the issue. I could prove the double booking, and despite multiple contacts, I still haven't received my money back. Unbelievable. Terrible service, not enough parking.

Great time! The pizzas were huge and very well topped (maybe a little too salty for my taste, but that's subjective!)! I highly recommend the mushroom-ham! We wanted to go inside but it was a little too noisy, so we sat outside. It was very nice! I usually love going to L'Osteria in Pfersee, but this time it was very disappointing! We went here for dinner with friends, and it was a completely negative experience from start to finish. • Upon arrival, we had to wait, which was fine because it was very busy. However, we were told we'd have to wait 10 minutes for a seat – suddenly, after less than 10 seconds, a table was available. • The waitress initially only wanted to take our drinks and not our food order, even though we would have liked to order everything together. • The first pizza arrived immediately for one person, but the rest of the food didn't arrive for half an hour. That's simply unacceptable when you want to eat together. • The shrimp salad consisted of just 4-5 shrimp – absolutely unloving and overpriced. • The pasta with pesto was cold and undercooked. After we complained, it took about 10-15 minutes for more pasta to arrive – which turned out to be exactly the same portion, just reheated. You could clearly taste it. When we asked, we were told that the previous portion had been thrown away and prepared again in the same quantity. Unfortunately, this is completely unbelievable. • To make matters worse, the employees became unfriendly and loud after all these points were brought up again. Conclusion: The food was inedible, the service was uncoordinated, overwhelmed, and unfortunately unfriendly. This will definitely be our last visit to this branch. What a shame!

I think the decor at every osteria is very cool. But it's very loud because of the crowds. The food is good too... just like you'd expect from a chain: the same everywhere. Good for those who want to know what they're getting.

I've been there a few times. The pizza is good because it is freshly made. Last time I had lasagna. That day was very stressful, I was alone with the children. And then the lasagne was still cold in the middle because it had not thawed well. The kids were screaming, so no time to complain, so I ate them anyway. I later complained to the waiter, who wanted to buy me a coffee to make up for it, but only made the children angry; no coffee. In short: take the pizza.
