L'Osteria Augsburg in Augsburg

We went out for dinner and had two pizzas. They were super, super delicious, as always. Service was a bit sparse when we asked for our drinks after about 15 minutes, and all we got was a rude reply and an arrogant grin. Unfortunately, despite showing them at the time of payment, no points were credited to our loyalty card... which is a shame, because we actually really enjoy going to L'Osteria.

Nice service, delicious food. One star minus because the soup was brought out at the same time as the main course, which is very unprofessional, and the main course was cold by the time we ate the soup. 🙄

Overall impression: not good Food: good Unfortunately, the staff were rude and would have liked another drink, but... A group of 6 adults (minimum) and 4 small children was allowed to sit in a corner for 2-4 people with small, low tables and sofa chairs... who, of course, formed a circle and were incredibly loud, or even wanted to climb onto the couches behind the guests. Congratulations on your profit-oriented approach.

Pizza was delicious. The restaurant was a bit noisy, and the seating was too close together.

Today the order was delivered more than max 50 min stated in the delivery (actually took 1 h 15 min). Also, the pizza is cold and not fresh, it looks like it was cooked a long time ago and was just warmed-up. The desert box was not sealed. Absolutely dissatisfied with the order and “burned” money.

Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The delivery took far too long – when the pizzas finally arrived, they were already completely cold. Fresh and warm should be a given when ordering pizza. Unfortunately, eating like this isn't enjoyable.

Update 09/25/2025 There's new staff allocating tables. We had to leave today after not getting a decent table. No concessions were made, even though a quarter of the tables were free. A reservation made by phone at the same time was also confirmed by the system but rejected by the staff. That's how you drive away long-time guests.

I like the concept of the L'Osteria chain, which is why I've had the opportunity to experience numerous restaurants. But no other restaurant lives up to these values ​​like Pfersee. The quality of the food, the professionalism of the service, and the ambiance of the premises have been above average from my first visit to this day – within the entire chain. In my experience, this is the best L'Osteria I know.

After being disappointed several times by other branches (Berlin Mahlsdorf and Augsburg Lechhausen), we were completely satisfied here! The server (a young man with dark curls) was incredibly attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. Not pushy, just super attentive! The doors were open to air out the place, and he asked if it was too cold, which isn't something you'd take for granted. Everything was tidy and clean! The pizzas were delicious, as was the side salad! We'll be back!! Thank you!

We had a corner table and it was very quiet and pleasant.

Never again. I was there to celebrate a birthday. There was a code on the table for direct payment, so I used it. The waitress said, "They don't like using it at large tables," and that she canceled my payment. Three months later, they haven't resolved the issue. I could prove the double booking, and despite multiple contacts, I still haven't received my money back. Unbelievable. Terrible service, not enough parking.

Great time! The pizzas were huge and very well topped (maybe a little too salty for my taste, but that's subjective!)! I highly recommend the mushroom-ham! We wanted to go inside but it was a little too noisy, so we sat outside. It was very nice! I usually love going to L'Osteria in Pfersee, but this time it was very disappointing! We went here for dinner with friends, and it was a completely negative experience from start to finish. • Upon arrival, we had to wait, which was fine because it was very busy. However, we were told we'd have to wait 10 minutes for a seat – suddenly, after less than 10 seconds, a table was available. • The waitress initially only wanted to take our drinks and not our food order, even though we would have liked to order everything together. • The first pizza arrived immediately for one person, but the rest of the food didn't arrive for half an hour. That's simply unacceptable when you want to eat together. • The shrimp salad consisted of just 4-5 shrimp – absolutely unloving and overpriced. • The pasta with pesto was cold and undercooked. After we complained, it took about 10-15 minutes for more pasta to arrive – which turned out to be exactly the same portion, just reheated. You could clearly taste it. When we asked, we were told that the previous portion had been thrown away and prepared again in the same quantity. Unfortunately, this is completely unbelievable. • To make matters worse, the employees became unfriendly and loud after all these points were brought up again. Conclusion: The food was inedible, the service was uncoordinated, overwhelmed, and unfortunately unfriendly. This will definitely be our last visit to this branch. What a shame!

We came with a large group. The waitress was extremely rude when we asked if we could push the two tables together... so inflexible... we would have done it ourselves... hence the poor review.

I think the decor at every osteria is very cool. But it's very loud because of the crowds. The food is good too... just like you'd expect from a chain: the same everywhere. Good for those who want to know what they're getting.

I've been there a few times. The pizza is good because it is freshly made. Last time I had lasagna. That day was very stressful, I was alone with the children. And then the lasagne was still cold in the middle because it had not thawed well. The kids were screaming, so no time to complain, so I ate them anyway. I later complained to the waiter, who wanted to buy me a coffee to make up for it, but only made the children angry; no coffee. In short: take the pizza.

The tomato soup I ordered was inedible. The consistency was like tomatoes from a carton. Squeezed out, reheated, and done... Completely over-peppered. It's better to remove it from the menu than subject guests to something like that. The value for money is incomprehensible. The friendliness and atmosphere were good. I'm glad the others at the table enjoyed their meal.

Stay away from the seafood pizza! I got food poisoning two hours after eating it! I haven't been this bad in a long time. I had to go to the emergency room because I couldn't keep anything down and fainted from nausea and circulatory problems. Watch out! The seafood was bad.

Simply a great restaurant! We've been here several times. From the friendly service to the delicious food to the beautiful location – everything is just perfect. I reserved a table at Losteria in Augsburg-Pfersse. Everything was empty because everyone was sitting outside. I asked the server to seat me somewhere I liked. He said everything was reserved. The service was not in good hands. It's a shame I didn't take any photos. Never again Losteria-Pfersse. Unfortunately, there's nothing decent to eat in Augsburg.

Our experience yesterday was impossible. We wanted to sit inside, but by the open window, three employees were standing in the way and wouldn't move. So we sat down anyway. Unfortunately, there were ants everywhere, so we ended up sitting at the other table by the window. Despite repeated eye contact with the waitress and waiter, we were ignored. After at least 15 minutes, a friendly colleague came over. And yet, we were ignored throughout the evening, not even asked if we wanted another drink or anything else. The pizza was the worst we've had at L'Osteria so far; there was hardly any BBQ sauce on it, just the base, and it was dripping with oil. This visit was simply embarrassing.

We actually enjoy being guests at L'Osteria – the food is always delicious and of the usual high standard. The kitchen was top-notch again this time – kudos to the team for that! Unfortunately, our last visit was disappointing, as the service towards the end of the evening seemed very unprofessional and made us feel unwelcome. I had called beforehand to ask if it was possible to arrive around 10:10 p.m., as we wouldn't be able to make it before then. We were assured on the phone that it wouldn't be a problem as long as we arrived before 10:15 p.m. We did exactly that. However, when we arrived, we were greeted with head shaking and hesitation, as if the agreed-upon time slot wasn't acceptable at all. It seemed more like they were just forcing us to get a table. The atmosphere was downright unpleasant. We were then immediately pressured to place our order within 5 minutes – which we tried to do. The waitress herself took over 10 minutes to arrive. This doesn't add up and seems contradictory. The meal was – as mentioned – very good again, but we were again interrupted during the meal by having to pay with our mouths full. This, too, could have been handled more sensitively. And at 11 p.m. sharp – the music was off, the lights were on, and we were asked to leave. This, too, is understandable, of course, but the way they did it was unfortunately anything but hospitable. ⸻ Conclusion: We understand that a restaurant wants to close on time – but the tone, attitude, and the way they treat guests make all the difference. Our visit could have been pleasant despite the late hour if it had been handled more professionally and respectfully. Unfortunately, this left a bad aftertaste, even though we actually like L'Osteria. We hope this feedback is seen as constructive criticism – because the potential is there, especially in the kitchen!

Whit Monday, an oversized pizza, two halves can be ordered with two different toppings on two plates. Very tasty. More than enough for us. The staff is friendly and attentive. The best part: we can view and pay for our order via barcode. We can choose and click on a tip. The bill is sent via text message. Keep it up!

Picked up 2 pizzas and 1 salad. Order was ready in 15 minutes. Pizzas were good. I also like the salad in environmentally friendly paper packaging. The dressing was also delicious. Unfortunately, the extra pizza bread with tomato sauce and garlic wasn't recorded on the phone, so we didn't get any. But it wasn't a big deal.

The restaurant can get pretty loud inside, usually quieter outside. The staff are nice and don’t bother you. The portions are fairly large, but the plates used for the pizza are oddly much smaller than the pizza itself, making it harder to cut. Amex not accepted.

Highly recommended! The two of us went to L'Osteria last night, and we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. I would particularly like to highlight the extremely friendly service: The server volunteered to serve us the pizza – which we shared between two different halves – on two plates. They even made sure that each plate had both types – a truly thoughtful gesture! The pizza was, as expected, very delicious – fresh, crispy, and with great ingredients. The location is modern and stylish, and the restaurant was busy, which speaks volumes about its popularity. Sure, it was a bit noisy, but the lively atmosphere didn't bother us – on the contrary, it added to the overall experience. We'd definitely love to come back!

Current update from May 2025: What's really bothering us now is that the restrooms, as well as the stairs and hallways leading to them, were extremely dirty during our last visits, and in some places, they seem to have gone uncleaned for several months.

That was probably nothing! I was there for dinner with my wife. Each of us ordered a pizza, each with a different topping. My wife's pizza was served first and they said mine would come straight away. However, it took about 10 minutes for my pizza to finally arrive - of course half was correctly topped, but the other half was incorrect. I couldn't say anything to the service person because she immediately disappeared again. Then I probably spoke to the shift manager, restaurant manager or manager – whatever. Since the second faux pas had already happened, I was of course not very enthusiastic. I was offered to bring the correct half of the pizza straight away and deliver the other half later. No sooner said than done. That worked too. When the second half of the pizza was served, the waitress apologized: Instead of “Prosciutto e Funghi” she heard “Prosciutto crudo”. Everything was fine, but my wife had already finished eating at this point. When I was finally finished, I ordered the bill. I was offered nothing but accommodation or an apology on the house... And now comes the biggie: When paying, I specifically requested a paper invoice. This was then used to charge for the more expensive pizza that I didn't order! When I asked, it was explained to me that the boss had decided that way... I just call that cheeky! Since I have been working in the catering industry for 40 years, I perhaps see such situations with different eyes - but it was definitely not customer-oriented!

Locally very loud, tables very small...pizza taste little.... The waiter brought a latte and Sarti Spritz, which ended up all over me...all in all it wasn't that great
