The pizza was very tasty, but the waiter, who was bald with a light beard and glasses, was completely unfriendly. We asked for a suggestion and his answer was simply "I don't know how you want it." Or when he brought the pizza, he just threw it on the table without saying anything, no "Enjoy your meal," no smile, he didn't make the guests feel comfortable at all.

The restaurant is centrally located in Munich's old town, just a few minutes' walk from Karlsplatz, and is architecturally and stylistically very appealing. However, there is unfortunately a very high noise level in some areas, which can make eating and the atmosphere unpleasant – especially if you want to have a quiet conversation. The lunch specials are reasonably priced and attractive, but they are only available online and are not actively offered or mentioned by the staff, which is a shame because you can easily miss out. Unfortunately, the wait for food is often quite long. The food itself is okay – both the pizza and pasta taste good. The service is inconsistent – unfortunately, there have been times when the staff were rather curt and unfriendly, which somewhat marred the overall impression. All in all, a restaurant with potential, but with some weaknesses that detract from the experience.

We had made a reservation and were seated on time. Unfortunately, the enormous noise level in the restaurant made any meaningful conversation impossible. Our food and drinks were okay. My impression was that the hectic pace of the kitchen was affecting the atmosphere... the waitstaff certainly did a good job, but often couldn't keep up with serving the orders.

We had made a reservation for a larger group and even received written confirmation via email. It was all the more surprising, then, that upon arrival, according to the staff, our reservation was "no longer in the system." As a result, we had to wait outside for about 30 minutes while they tried to find us another table. When we were finally seated, it wasn't at one table, but at two separate tables. Then there were further delays: about 30 minutes until we received the menus, and another 30 minutes until the food was served. I found the behavior of a waiter named Aimé particularly irritating. He informed our group, in what I perceived as an unfriendly tone, that we had "officially been there for two hours" and had to leave the table in ten minutes – even though we had been seated considerably later and several people were still eating at that time. When I pointed out the waiting times, he reacted impatiently once again, as if throwing away his pen. He also explained that due to numerous Christmas party reservations, things were currently difficult and he had to "please everyone." From our perspective, this was unfortunate, as we had to wait a long time despite our confirmed reservation. He added that "no one was eating anymore" and that we could "as a courtesy, have a drink at the bar." However, at that point, members of our group were still waiting to eat. On the other hand, I would like to commend another waiter named Jannis, who tried to find a solution and ultimately arranged a new table for us. His efforts were the only truly positive moment of the evening. Overall, our visit was disappointing and did not meet the expectations we had for our confirmed reservation.

The food was amazing! We ordered a half-Maghreta and half-Caesar pizza; one pizza is big enough for three people. We also ordered spaghetti with white sauce, red bell peppers, and mushrooms—it was delicious too! Everything we ordered was halal. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Italian food. Its only drawback is the very loud music, which makes the other diners speak very loudly. It would be great if they lowered the music; people would naturally lower their voices.

I ordered a Caesar e Pollo with extra fried chicken breast strips. The pizza arrived half-baked. Hardly any dressing, very little Parmesan or cheese in general. There was practically no sign of the extra chicken (for which I paid an extra €4!). They put more effort into it in Nuremberg. This Losteria definitely has room for improvement when it comes to delivery orders. A shame.

We went to L’Osteria at Künstlerhaus today for a birthday party with a prior reservation at 7:00 PM. Despite having received a reservation confirmation via email, we were initially told upon arrival that no reservation could be found. As a result, we had to wait outside for half an hour before we were finally offered two separate tables. Another 30 minutes passed before we received the menus, and only after asking for them. It was particularly unpleasant when, around 8:50 PM, we were told we had to leave our table in a few minutes. The communication was unnecessarily unfriendly. Fortunately, another employee then stepped in and arranged a table for our group, for which we are grateful. Nevertheless, the evening was very disappointing overall, especially since it was a birthday celebration and neither an apology nor any form of compensation was offered. We hope that this feedback is taken seriously and that the process is improved for future guests.

I really don't understand the hype. The pizza is delicious, but the atmosphere is stressful and loud, the staff are constantly rushing around, chairs are being moved around, and the music is so loud you can barely hear the person you're talking to... I even got confirmation when I asked that they don't turn the music down so the guests leave quickly.

Whenever we attend an event at the Künstlerhaus, we eat pizza at the neighboring Osteria, which is very tasty. However, the music is so incredibly loud that it's practically assault! When we asked them to turn the music down so we could have a conversation at the table without having to shout, the waiter explained: "That's management's order!" If that's the case, then yesterday was our last visit to the Osteria!

Overall, we had a pleasant experience, the food wasn't exceptional, but it was tasty and enjoyable, and the prices were generally fair. The space was nice and the person who served us was genuinely kind and helpful. One thing we didn't love was being charged €6.50 for water without being asked whether we wanted the more expensive option or something simpler. It wasn't a huge issue , but it would have been good to be informed beforehand. Still , we left satisfied and appreciated the overall atmosphere and service.

The restaurant was extremely crowded, but the service was still incredibly fast and well-organized. We had a reservation, so we didn't have to wait, but even without a reservation, the staff tried their best to find a table for everyone. The waiter was also very friendly and offered us a complimentary limoncello when they ran out of one of the desserts. The food was delicious, and the price was reasonable.

Even after repeatedly asking why guests who arrived significantly later had already received their meals, we were still waiting. In the end, we canceled our order, which, as it turned out, hadn't even been prepared yet. The staff was completely overwhelmed, and the pizza chef seemed to be processing orders randomly. The food at L'Osteria is usually delicious, but this branch was an absolute disgrace, and we will not be returning.

Unfortunately, we received no service at all. Only after a second request and over half an hour later was our order taken. The staff generally paid us very little attention. When the cash register froze during checkout, we were asked to pay again, which we did. We were then told that if we had been double-paid (because the payment had gone through), we could contact them and the amount would be refunded within 3-4 weeks. (A timeframe I already consider unreasonably long.) That was about four weeks ago, and our attempts to contact them have been completely ignored, both by email and phone. We haven't received a single cent back from the €120 bill we paid twice. Absolutely unacceptable.

We've been here several times, but unfortunately, each time the same employee, a young man (apparently the manager), has stood out negatively with his ironic and rude manner. On our last visit, we waited on the terrace for about 20-25 minutes. He walked past us twice, went out for a smoke, saw us – but didn't mention that we had to order ourselves inside and that there was no table service outside. A brief reminder would have been perfectly sufficient. It's a real shame. This kind of behavior simply makes you feel unwelcome as a guest.

Hello, we had a reservation for a birthday party and were a group of eight. The table was in the corner, right next to the restrooms. Furthermore, a neighboring table was so close to ours that the space at our table was very cramped. A few bottles of water had already been ordered at the time of reservation and were supposed to be on the table. The table's location was disappointing; it felt more like a last-minute solution. The waitress was very friendly, but the service was somewhat chaotic. Six people ordered appetizers, which were served only after the main course. One of them only received theirs after asking three times. Except for the pizzas, the food was only lukewarm by then. Additional drinks were also only served after repeated requests. I arrived on Saturday shortly after 11:00 AM to make a reservation for two people (one of whom is in a wheelchair) for 6:00 PM. I was greeted by a waiter who seemed a bit overwhelmed by the situation. He said he would get help (he referred to him as the manager), but the manager was busy with another employee. The waiter took my order as best he could. I mentioned the wheelchair situation several times. Once he had all the necessary information, he said he would quickly check with the "manager." The manager then assigned him other tasks and walked past me into a private room. After a short while, he came back and asked if there was anything else I needed. I tried to explain the situation with the wheelchair again, but I only received a curt, almost arrogant reply: "It'll be fine." The chaos began when we arrived at 6:00 PM. Finally arriving at the reception desk, it seemed as if no one was really bothering to attend to the waiting guests. When a woman finally made an effort (after some private conversation at the bar) and asked for our name and reservation time several times due to the noise, I answered a little louder. When she then added that we hadn't made a reservation, I simply replied that instead of giving arrogant answers, they should have taken the reservation correctly. She then became a bit snide and asked if we even intended to eat there. When she was finally able to give us a table, it was, of course, quite far into the restaurant, where all the other guests and staff had to walk past. This was very unpleasant for my partner, as almost everyone kept bumping into her wheelchair, causing her to feel a jolt each time. That's why we mentioned the wheelchair when making a reservation. The incredibly friendly and attentive waitress at least made our short stay more pleasant. Hence the 4 stars in the service rating. Otherwise, it would only be 1 star. What we noticed was that there seemed to be problems with some reservations. We saw several guests who were upset that their reservations hadn't worked out. Furthermore, some guests were practically forced to pay because of these issues, as the tables were needed to sort out the poor reservation management. Overall, the atmosphere in L'Osteria was very stressful, as everyone seemed to be affected by the situation. Since the noise level from the other guests was already quite high, even louder music was played. Normal conversation among the guests was practically impossible. The situation on our way out mirrored that of the reception. It was the other guests who helped us leave the restaurant amidst all the waiting guests and chairs. There was absolutely no assistance from the staff. We have been to several L'Osteria restaurants in this chain, but this one in Munich near the Künstlerhaus is by far the worst we have ever visited. We left all the others with a very positive impression. We will not be returning to the Künstlerhaus location in Munich.

The pasta with tomato and basil was a complete disappointment: utterly tasteless, completely unseasoned, and the basil was purely decorative. The accompanying cheese was also terrible. It's a shame, as the quality was significantly better on previous visits. The rooms are lovely, but unfortunately very noisy.

Because a few of the Amore Hearts were due to expire soon, we decided to come here. The line was okay, and you had to wait between 10 and 20 minutes for a table since every seat was taken. But that was still acceptable for a public holiday and a game day. Once we were seated, we didn't have to wait very long, even though we were prepared for it to take a bit longer. We needn't have been, as the team did a really good job. Everything arrived at the table after a short wait, was incredibly delicious, and was definitely worth it. Conclusion: Even despite the wait, it's definitely worth coming here. Highly recommended, and thanks to the truly great team for the wonderful time.

A truly beautiful location in the Kunsthaus. The interior design is absolutely top-notch. As is typical for a Losteria, it's very loud and crowded, so you should be prepared for that. If we're ever in Munich again, we'll definitely eat there again. The wait time was perfectly acceptable considering the number of guests. A big thank you to Aris.

We (two people) ordered food online at 7:30 pm for pickup at 8:45 pm (we actually wanted to pick it up earlier, but that wasn't possible). We ordered two pizzas, a free loaf of bread, and the three dips. When we arrived at 8:30 pm, it was really crowded. Waiter number one sent us to the counter to let them know we wanted to pick up our order. Waiter number two at the counter assured us twice within ten minutes that it would be a little while longer. It seemed very disorganized and chaotic that day, so we were initially glad we weren't eating in and were understanding of the delays. At 8:55 pm, waiter number three handed us our order. This order had apparently been sitting near the counter the entire time since our arrival. The pizza was completely cold, and the free loaf of bread we had selected online was also missing. It's incredibly disappointing that we received completely cold pizzas, and that they seemed to have been ready a long time ago! Unbelievable.

Certain service staff were incredibly rude. We waited an hour (on a Wednesday!!!!!) for a table for two and then (very politely) asked when the gentleman thought we might be seated. The gentleman (who turned out to be anything but nice) then snapped at us as if we were incompetent. The restaurant itself is great, but they definitely need to learn how to treat customers. Or even better! Hire competent people who treat the people they earn their money from more politely, or at least well. Otherwise, they're too rude. 9/10 highly recommended, great staff.

This was my second chance at Losteria. I'd previously been to Leopoldstr. The atmosphere at Künstlerhaus is very unique, the service is incredibly friendly, and the wait time for food is quite short. I recently ordered a pizza whose crust was so thick it was inedible. Maybe some dip would have helped. The pasta was very al dente, and honestly, you can make it tastier at home. Unfortunately, with a group of about 40 people, I wasn't the only one complaining. It's a shame, but chain restaurants like Losteria are more like McDonald's. So, for those who are Italian cuisine connoisseurs, this won't be a 100%.

There were three of us there on Saturday without a reservation, and we were only able to get a table outside without having to wait. However, if we'd known we'd have to wait a good hour for two pizzas and a pasta dish, we certainly wouldn't have done it in the sub-10 degree Celsius outside temperature and without a heater. The pizzas were good, but the penne arrabbiata was only lukewarm and not at all spicy—basically, it was just a regular tomato sauce. Thankfully, the waitress—I don't remember who it was—got us a table inside after we were already pretty frozen, so two stars for the service instead of just one. We also had to ask for the bill several times. I won't be coming back.

It's very nicely decorated and the food is good, but I didn't find the waitress very nice at the end. I gave her a tip, and apparently it wasn't enough for her. She didn't even say thank you or goodbye. I think that's completely unacceptable.

Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. I waited for about 20 minutes to be seated and then another 30 minutes with no attention, while guests who arrived after me were served immediately. When I tried to get the staff’s attention, no one responded. The waiter who finally came was visibly annoyed, threw the menu on the table, and started speaking to his colleague while pointing at us. I’ve never experienced such disrespectful or biased behavior before — it truly felt uncomfortable and unwelcome.

The service was very slow; our order took around 40 minutes to come. The pizza was very dry and cold. There were very few toppings. Don't let the large size deceive you; it was so flavorless that we didn't want to eat it even though we were hungry. The pizza also didn’t had enough sauce. Our drinks arrived half an hour before our meal, so they ran out. There's a nice room with a nice atmosphere, so make a reservation if you can. But it's not worth going for the food.

Completely disappointing – never again! We were at L'Osterie Künstlerhaus am Stachus today, and it was an absolute disaster. Right from the start: We stood at the door for over 15 minutes and were completely ignored. Finally, we sat down ourselves because no one came – whereupon the waitress became rude and complained that we had done it. The treatment was truly disrespectful and unprofessional. I ordered a pizza afterward – and honestly, it was the worst pizza I've ever eaten. Tasteless, poorly prepared, simply awful. Overall, a very unpleasant experience. Unfortunately, I absolutely do not recommend it.

First of all, we're real L'Osteria fans, and the staff was, as always, super nice and friendly. But: a 65-minute wait for a pizza is unbearable, especially at 3:00 p.m. As we've heard from other guests, this isn't unusual at this branch.

The pizza was very mediocre. While it's quite large, would I rather get a smaller frozen pizza? Yes. The table wasn't wiped before we were seated. (Nasty) Also, the waiter only came once to order and then once to pay. We couldn't even make eye contact with the server to reorder something or ask for condiments, etc. When we took the pizza to go, it came wrapped like a burrito instead of in a regular box. Better off going to McDonald's on the other side.

As soon as we walked in, the staff avoided eye contact and were reluctant to guide us. They even made small talk with the customer at the table right in front of them, acting as if the person waiting to enter didn't even exist. If they had just made a gesture or a look to ask us to wait, it wouldn't have been so unpleasant. I think this is basic manners. Of course, this wasn't just a problem for us; it applied to other customers as well. Everyone who came in was made to stand and wait for quite a while. Not only that, but the tables were really, really dirty. There were crumbs strewn all over the tables and chairs. I brushed them all off, but it was still unpleasant. Even when we ordered food, we had to wait in the same awkward state. When I told the staff I wanted to order, they just asked me to wait and left, so I thought they were busy with something else. I watched closely to see what they were doing, but they just walked between tables or stood there blankly. I was just dumbfounded. The food was decent considering their behavior. Another review said, "Only go if you're really hungry," and I completely agree. My husband and I were so hungry that we went in, but we were so upset that we couldn't tell if the food was going into our noses or our mouths. Other reviews responded with things like, "We'll improve. We sincerely apologize." If that's the case, then this is a truly disappointing restaurant.

During a trade show, we wanted to eat near the hotel. We sat inside because it was raining. When we sat down, dust blew around us. The service was okay. However, the food was not up to scratch. The pizza was sparse and rubbery, the salad was baked, and the sausages had a questionable flavor. The pasta seemed to be served with Barilla sauce. The cut of meat had an artificial/chemically pink grilled color, the typical tasteless meat of meat that had been frozen for too long. No air conditioning inside the pizza oven.

Very poor quality, the pasta tastes very disgusting, even discount items taste better than this food, the boss is not open to criticism and freaks out when you ask him about it, a clear no-go, pretends to be Italian, which he is not. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone here.

Restaurant: The food is tasty, the pizza is good, but the place is often very crowded and the staff can't keep up. Market: Completely overpriced. Products that cost €1.20 in Italy are €5.99 here, and so on. Exactly the same products/brands, but five times the price. In other words, you're mainly paying for the atmosphere.
