If you order "New Zealand rack of lamb...", you'll enjoy a masterpiece and never forget the amazing taste. The service was first-class, with friendly staff and a constant smile. I will definitely be back.

Today, we were offered spoiled wine twice in this restaurant. It was yellow-brown in color and had a vinegary taste. Only the third time were we served regular wine. I regret that my husband and I didn't leave immediately. Especially since what we were served next not only didn't correspond to the price (€41.90 per person, the "Sultan's Menu"), but it couldn't even be called restaurant food. Potatoes and carrots were half-raw, cut into huge chunks, and whole nuts were in the dishes (if you have dental problems, that's inedible). The food was tasteless and prepared without any care. We've been to this restaurant several times before, even recommended it to friends. We last went there last year. But apparently, the owner and the entire team have changed since then. Of course, we won't be returning. But the fact that the waiter served us undrinkable wine twice in a row without any shame shocked me. Wine like that is only good for cooking. This was the first time we'd ever experienced anything like it. In short: The former Orient Restaurant no longer exists. Now, deception and rip-offs reign supreme. Incidentally, the prices are different from those shown in the photos. We were charged €100.80. That means a glass of wine and a small bottle of sparkling water cost us €17. We left feeling spiritually empty.

Everything was very good – unfortunately, the guests are often very loud – and the atmosphere is deteriorating. Especially at lunchtime, brutal business dealings, blah blah, and pompous, uninformed people are the order of the day. It's a shame that this place has to exist in this world, because it deserves a different one.

The concept of ordering side dishes to avoid waste seems sensible. The dishes were visually appealing. And then there was the incredibly delicious welcome from the kitchen...addictive! We'll be back. This was my second visit to this restaurant, and it was another delight. This time we had duck. The food was excellent, as always, and the service was unobtrusive yet attentive. A wonderful summer evening! A delight for lunch, too! Good value for money!

My husband recently invited me here for my birthday, and it was a truly wonderful experience. Upon arrival, we were immediately struck by the lovely decorations at the table—rose petals, candles, and small details that immediately created a warm and romantic atmosphere. The food was outstanding: the mezze selection was fresh, varied, and incredibly delicious. I particularly enjoyed the falafel and hummus with pomegranate, but the other small appetizers were also lovingly prepared and delicious. You can immediately tell that they use fresh ingredients. The service was also very friendly and attentive—we felt completely at home. Overall, this is a place I can absolutely recommend if you want to enjoy Lebanese cuisine in a lovely atmosphere.

I was here for a team meal, but I wouldn't choose it personally, as there was only one dish I liked, which I actually liked. The others really enjoyed it, so I gave it more points. The service was very good. The restrooms are clean.

I went to L'Orient Winterhude for lunch. The chicken gyro was well-seasoned and pleasantly juicy, just right for the price. The fish lunch special was fresh and well-prepared, even if the side dishes were a bit small. The black tea with mint was beautifully aromatic and went well with the meal. The service was friendly, but a bit slow at times, which is probably normal at lunchtime. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal, perfect for a quick break. Definitely recommended for a casual lunch in Winterhude. I'll definitely be back.

We had lunch at this branch today. The restaurant is relatively small, but it's near Kampnagel, and it was busy. There were plenty of seats outside for warm days. The staff was very friendly. The rhubarb spritzer was beautifully served. It didn't feel like I was drinking a spritzer. Today's lunch menu was boring. We didn't like the daily specials either. I had the falafel with salad and hummus. I think five falafel with salad and a bit of sesame sauce for €14.50 is a bit too expensive. The nakanek, lamb sausages, were also boring. A mocha was served to finish. It was nice and tasty. Overall, the restaurant could be improved. It could be a bit more. Neither of us was full.

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal hier am Sonntagabend zum Speisen und waren erneut hochzufrieden. Der Service war freundlich und schnell bei der Sache. Bei der Vorspeise haben wir uns zu dritt die 10-er Variante aus der Liste der Hauptgerichte geteilt, sehr lecker! Als Hauptgerichte wählten wir Ente, Wolfsbarsch und Aubergine - ebenfalls sehr schmackhaft. Der Nachtisch (auf das Haus) wurde durch eine große Kugel Zimteis und ein kleines Stückchen Kuchen gebildet. Wir kommen wieder! Preislich angemessen.

Der Start war etwas holprig, da wir nicht einverstanden waren, mit dem Tisch, den der Kellner uns zuweisen wollte. Er hat dann allerdings relativ schnell umgeschaltet und insofern hatten wir dann einen schönen Abend. Bei herrlichem Essen. Wir haben uns als Vorspeise eine Portion Mezze (acht Schälchen) geteilt zu dritt. Als Hauptgerichte hatten wir Lammkarree, Maispoularde und Seewolf. Alles sehr schmackhaft. Das Dessert kam vom Haus: jeweils eine Kugel selbst gemachtes Zimteis und ein kleines Stück Kuchen. Beides sehr lecker. Inklusive zwei Glas Wein, ein Ayan, eine große Flasche Mineralwasser und einen doppelten Espresso haben wir inklusive Trinkgeld 155 € bezahlt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

There were two of us there and we ate from the lunch menu. We had 4 bowls with various small starters and great thin flatbread. Then the starter, lamb and chicken with salad and rice. For dessert there was cinnamon ice cream, 1 small piece of cake with strawberry sauce and a small mocha with cardamom. Everything was great 😋 Price-performance ratio was perfect and the staff was very nice.

Unfortunately we were unlucky with the main course. The rack of lamb was way too cooked, the fish was over-seasoned and the mashed potatoes were too salty. The chef simply had a bad day, otherwise recommended. For the price of over €60 pp with a small starter and 2 glasses of wine, that simply shouldn't happen. The dessert was free - thanks for that!

It was wonderful. Three people, three different dishes and all so well seasoned and presented. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. A dessert came from the house as a treat after the delicious meal. The homemade ice cream with grits and cakes was also wonderful. We had reserved. Definitely we will come back.

My recommendation: “Mazza” - a selection of small, delicious starters - an oriental delight in perfection! The service staff are very attentive, courteous, friendly and do everything possible to ensure that many dishes are also vegan! I can only recommend this restaurant, value for money is a 10/10. Gladly again!
