Spontaneously came here for the first time, service was excellent, the food was bomb, again at any time. The best Lebanese in town.

A beautiful restaurant! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the food is authentic and great 😋 I particularly recommend the matzah in its various variations – an absolute must! I was impressed by the quality of the ingredients and the artful presentation of the dishes. The service was always friendly and attentive, so you immediately feel at home. For anyone looking for an oriental experience in a modern style, this restaurant is an absolute insider tip. I would definitely like to come back!

We were here for the first time today and we are so excited. Super friendly service staff, great food and great ambience. From the starter to the dessert, it was the best we've eaten in a long time. Mocha and dessert on the house! Where else can you get something like that? We felt very welcome and will come back more often. Price-performance unbeatable. Thanks for the great evening.

Full marks, especially in the Jarrestraße area! Food super tasty. Service very attentive and quick. For this purpose, flexible variations of the menu were offered. The ambience is nice, simply because the tables are not placed super close to each other. AND I personally find that very positive: you can pay by card!!! Not like the primarily Asian shops on the same street that ONLY take cash.

We decided to celebrate our civil wedding at L'Orient in a small group. And what can you say? Everything was perfect. The food was very good. The matzah variations in particular are easy to put in and are sooo good. Without exception, our group was enthusiastic about the food. The service is super good, friendly, charming and accommodating. All wishes were fulfilled. We'd love to come back. :-)

Wow what a lovely evening, very good service, always attentive and friendly, everything was well described. We had the Lórient menu, which is very varied to get to know the cuisine. It was very well maintained between courses so that you could enjoy in peace. In terms of price, it's upscale, but also justified for everything on offer. Thank you for the lovely evening

Hello to all the hungry out there and a warm hello to the L'Orient team at Jarresstr. in Hamburg Winterhude. We were there for dinner with 7 people. Several tables were put together for us in the outdoor area covered with umbrellas and set very invitingly. The evening opened with a very special cocktail from the house, with or without alcohol of your choice. In addition to our other drinks, there were also two types of water spread out on the table throughout the evening. I have tried all of the non-alcoholic cocktails and they are fantastically delicious. The ones with coconut juice are at the top for me in terms of taste, smile. What I personally thought was really great was that there were no unnecessary ice cubes in the cocktails, so you got much more of the taste experience and no diluted water broth. Thumbs up for the cocktails. Let's get to eating. I should mention that I am from the Palatinate and what a Palatinate resident doesn't know, he doesn't eat. So I ventured into this with caution at first, lol. After ordering, everyone was given something like a kind of crepe batter, only without flavor, to dip in oil and a spice. But just trying it all out was enough for me. After that it got exciting, lots of little bowls with different small portions were distributed all over the table. The first thing everyone pulled out was their cell phone to take a photo. The bowls were very different and were plentiful and deliciously served. Everyone was not only thrilled by the variety, but also by the taste, how what was prepared, with which spices, and in what combination. To me it looked like painting, lots of small, lovingly arranged colorful pots of paint. A taste experience that everyone raved about. Very attractively presented. As a main course, I initially preferred the duck, although the house recommended eating cinnamon rice with it. I'm telling you, I've never eaten anything so delicious. I also ordered additional vegetables and, being from the Palatinate, of course also the potato chips. What would a Palatinate be without potatoes... smile. I have to honestly admit, without sounding like a judgement, but I was very surprised at how damn well seasoned, crispy and crunchy these potato chips were made from real potatoes, not fried mashed potatoes. Absolutely perfect and delicious!!! You can't even get something like that here in the Palatinate. So as far as the food is concerned, everything was prepared very lovingly and the taste of the evening was definitely a surprising and inspiring experience for everyone. For dessert there was a house creation for everyone, which was both visually appealing and very tasty. Personally, I found the portion just a bit too small, so you could get a little more out of it for the money. The overall impression: If you reserve in advance for such a large group, there is the possibility of being able to use the on-site parking spaces. You should ask here, because finding a parking space in Hamburg is like playing the lottery, smile. To the L'Orient team from Jarresstr. in Hamburg, which gets a lot of praise from me. Each meal was very well explained, what it was and how it was made before it came to the table. Very helpful, especially if you are a Palatinate resident and are skeptical and don't know everything. Then, thumbs up, there was always someone standing at the door throughout the evening, at a discreet distance from the table, who was immediately available to help with any requests. Unfortunately, such all-round perfect service is far too rare for us Germans in the catering industry. Hats off... ... and thumbs up for the really great and tastefully eventful evening, through which we were literally guided. I can 100 percent recommend L'Orient in Hamburg Winterhude. The portions could be a bit larger for some dishes, but the price-performance ratio with such service was: TOP! Thank you.

Lasse & I recently had dinner with friends at L’Orient Winterhude. We liked it so much that we went there again with the whole family and treated ourselves to the modern Lebanese cuisine. We were skeptical the first time because we had already been to another L'Orient. We actually didn't like the service, ambience or food. Because everything here was convincing. From location, food to service, we really had nothing to complain about. The service was without exception friendly, attentive, understanding, fond of children, but not intrusive. The falafel and duck were so delicious here, even though we've already tasted one or two elsewhere. In general everything was so lovingly prepared

We ate there with a large group for a friend's wedding. The service (especially Murat) looked after us very attentively and friendly, so that nothing was missing. The kitchen did a great job of getting almost all the dishes ready on the same side so that we could start together - not a given given the size of the group! I had the rack of lamb and my husband had the duck breast. Both were delicious, but if you're very hungry you definitely need to eat a starter, main course and side dish as well as a dessert in order to actually feel full. We will be back!

L'osteria is always worth a visit, at least in terms of the consistent quality of the food. The background noise, which may be part of the concept, is a bit disturbing: Welcome! Delicious food at fair prices, eat up (alternatively we'll pack up the leftovers), but please don't suck on your drink for too long (loud music prevents any serious conversation), but flirt - but not with us! Overall everything is OK. and recommended! Thanks to the service, very professional!

Excellent food. The Mezza with 8 dishes is ample for 2 as a starter, you just need a main after that and you’re done. Flavours are lovely and meat- and fish dishes well thought out and presented. You even get a little dessert on the house!

Service and ambience TOP. Very friendly and accommodating. The mezze were good, the warm bread with zataar was great. The main course of corn-fed poularde read very well, but was only ok: really very little meat and even less “filling”. The dessert on the house was a great gesture and the cinnamon ice cream was especially delicious!

Just briefly for 8 matzahs. Typical selection, all great. I will come back!

Pleasant ambience, although it is quite loud as it is just a large room, without any dividers or plants to dampen the noise. And you sit quite close together with other tables. The food was very tasty - starter, main course and dessert, which was brought as a house service. The service is friendly and there was also wine advice. For me, the music in the background would probably be more oriental, more suitable for a restaurant of this type than trendy pop music.

The pictures on the website whet your appetite for a tasty meal. This is also how it looks in reality. Unfortunately, the food varies in taste. The matzah, 8 portions, nicely arranged on small, individual bowls were seasoned rather inconspicuously. I found the portions to be modest for sharing. Tiger prawns and sea bream are said to have tasted very good Unfortunately, the vegetarian eggplant dish was a disappointment. What was described with flowery words and a variety of ingredients was not proven. First of all: Makloubeh is not a casserole. These are fried (?) eggplant slices lying on rice. The seasoned rice looked brownish - not very inviting. If it had tasted good, it wouldn't have bothered me. Unfortunately it tasted bland. Four small, narrow fried eggplant slices on top should be the vegetarian main course? The mint yoghurt provided was thin and used up quickly, so that soon all that was left was the bland rice. The harissa potatoes that were ordered were spicy without making any further contribution to the taste. Remarkable: When I asked about the court's shortcomings, the reaction was really professional: interest instead of rejection or shrugging acceptance; that was great! All three of us got a scoop of ice cream with a small piece of sponge cake and an espresso to compensate. Even though I said it really didn't matter to me. Overall, the service was very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The ambience is nice and relatively cozy. Conclusion: Despite the defect described, we spent a very pleasant evening in L'Orient and felt comfortable.

The atmosphere is very nice and the staff is nice. The prices are relatively high and the portions are rather small. What I found very annoying is that you are forced to take a main course. The staff justified it by saying we were there on a Saturday evening. I can understand that of course you have to pay attention to sales. However, I think you should have the freedom to choose whether you want to have a main course or several starters.

L'Orient is recommended for anyone who is curious about a special cuisine. Although the external impression still needs to be optimized, guests can expect a special atmosphere inside. It's not just the stylishly set tables that invite you to linger, the food is also a feast for the eyes and the palate. In addition, there is friendly and competent service. If you're lucky, you'll get a few cooking tips.

First the positive: The food was delicious. Unfortunately, the atmosphere wasn't ours and, above all, the service was completely unpleasantly chaotic. Of course, things can go wrong from time to time, but not all the time - unfortunately that is very, very detrimental to a relaxed visit to a restaurant... A pity.

Reserved many days in advance for 2 people, canceled by the restaurant two days before the appointment without giving a reason. No answer even when asked...not possible at all. Restaurant was definitely open that day. Instead we went to Samui Thai Cuisine, highly recommended.

Wir waren Silvester im LÒrient. Ein mehr als gelungener Jahresabschluss. Das Personal sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, ein tolles Ambiente, wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Das Essen einfach phänomenal. Wir hatten das Silvester-Menü. Die 12 Vorspeisen ein Hochgenuss, der Zwischengang (Tampori Scampi mit Grillkäse und Avocado Salat) super lecker, der Hauptgang (argentinisches Rinderfilet) auf den Punkt zubereitet und zart wie Butter. das Minz-Sorbet zum Dessert ein Mega-Abschluß. Das war unser erster Besuch im L´Orient, aber es wird ganz sicher nicht unser letzter gewesen sein. Ein herzliches DANKE an das gesamte Team im Service und in der Küche.

der gestrige Abend (24.12.2023) war sowohl von der Idee, der Gestaltung und dem Ambiente äußerst gelungen; das gesamte Team (sowohl der für die Gäste "sichtbare" Teil als auch die guten "Geister" im Hintergrund) haben für einen gemütlichen und schmackhaften Abend gesorgt für den man nur ganz aufrichtig und herzlich Danke sagen kann.

Ich war zu einer Weihnachtsfeier mit ca 25 Personen eingeladen und das wurde professionell bewältigt. Keine lange Wartezeiten, ausser zwischen den Gängen, aber die haben wir entsprechend genossen! Leider ist es nicht mein Geschmack, aber die Qualität für Auge und Gaumen war schon überzeugend!

Sehr gute Speisenauswahl und toller Service Die angebotenen Speisen, besonders die von der Tageskarte, sind abwechslungsreich und sehr liebevoll und handwerklich gut zubereitet. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam. Einzig das Ambiete ist mir etwas zu klein für ein solch tolles Restaurant. Unbedingt einen Tisch vorreservieren.

Das Ambiente ist wirklich sehr einladend, der Tisch war super schön gedeckt und der Service war spitze!!! So eine Gastfreundliche und liebevolle Bedienung hat man leider heutzutage nicht mehr oft. Das Essen war nicht nur schön fürs Auge, sondern hat fantastisch geschmeckt. Alles sehr schön hergerichtet und wirklich ein Genuss. Wir fühlten uns bisher nirgendwo so willkommen wie hier. Professionell war der Service sowieso. Das Interieur ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail in einem modernen und sehr gemütlichen, warmen, orientalischen Design gehalten und versetzt einen quasi in einen wunderschönen Kurzurlaub im Orient. Danke für den tollen Abend. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall ganz bald wieder! PS: Gönnt Euch auf jeden Fall die hervorragenden Menüs (wir hatten das L'Orient Menü). Wir waren zu dritt das erste Mal im L'Orient in der Jarrestrasse. Der Abend war gelungen. Der Service war nett und aufmerksam, die Gerichte schmackhaft und von guter Qualität. Einziger Abzug, es war recht laut. Das Restaurant war voll besetzt, durch fehlende Raumteiler oder andere akustisch wirksame Elemente war der Schallpegel auf die Dauer anstrengend. Parkplätze sind natürlich in Winterhude immer ein Thema, das kann man aber letztendlich nicht dem Restaurant ankreiden.

"1000 und eine Nacht" mitten in Hamburg. Super leckeres Essen mit orientalische Gewürze, Geschmackskomponenten feinsten aufeinander abgestimmt. Alles freundlich und ausführlich erklärt. Nette Bedienung bis ins kleinste Details. Von der Vorspeise über den Hauptgang bis zum "Gruß aus der Küche" mit lecker Zimteis und Grießküchlein und zum Abschluss mit orientalischen Mokka. Ein durch und durch tolles Lokal mit bester Küche

مطعم لبناني فوق الرائع حبيت الاكل فيه والجو عام من أجمل الاشياء اللي شفتها في هامبرغ فعلا الاكل جميل جربت للحم العجل مع ماش بيتيتو 👏👌👏👌 المقبلات كانت جميلة وختمتها بحلى وقهوة لبنانية تجربة جميلة واكيد بحرص اكررها لو رجعت للهامبرغ.

Wir waren heute spontan in der Jarrestrasse. Zwei Erwachsene, zwei Kinder. Und wir sind Veggies. Wir sind begeistert. Auch wenn wir Sonntag Mittag alleine da waren, war alles spitze. Essen, Trinken und Nachspeise war sensationell. Wie ein Kurztrip in die arabische Welt. Wir kommen wieder.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Abend mit sehr leckerem Essen und einem wirklich guten Service. Für jeden Geschmack war etwas dabei. Sogar die Kinder waren begeistert. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und empfehlen es weiter.

Ein absoluter toller, sehr freundlicher Service mit einem super, frisch zubereiteten Essen, wo ich das unbedingt weiterempfehlen kann und ich war deshalb schon des öfteren Gast. Deshalb in allen Kategorien fünf Sterne!!!!

Wir hatten das Menu bestellt und waren begeistert: Hervorragendes Essen, sehr zuvorkommende und freundliche Bedienung und ein Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür (allerdings gab es auf Kampnagel auch keine Vorstellung an dem Abend!) Insbesondere die Vorspeisen, die in gefühlt 50 Schälchen serviert wurden, fanden wir ganz besonders gut gewürzt und appetitlich serviert!

Im Stadtteil Winterhude befindet sich dieses Restaurant, das zu einer Kette von insgesamt 4 Restaurants in verschiedenen Stadtteilen gehört. Es gibt Plätze drinnen und draußen, wo man unter Bäumen sitzt. Parkplätze sind Mangelware. Dafür gibt es Bushaltestellen in der Nähe. Wir waren in diesem Restaurant ca. 15 Mal. Mittags gibt es eine Mittagskarte, wo man aus 2 Gerichten ( davon 1 x vegetarisch) auswählen kann. Zusätzlich gibt es Alternativen zu reduzierten Preisen von 12-16:00 Uhr. Heute, 18.07.2023, waren um 14:00 Uhr beide Mittagsgerichte nicht mehr verfügbar. Wir bestellten Lamm und Huhn, 1 Flasche Mineralwasser, 3 Gläser Wein, 8 Schälchen Mazza ( kleinste Vorspeisen) und zahlten rund 73 €. Die Mazza besteht größtenteils aus Gemüse ( z.B. klein geschnittene Karotten, Kartoffeln mit Schale, klein geschnittene Oliven, Linsen etc.). Für die Mazza wurden rund 16€ für 8 Schälchen berechnet. Der Gegenwert ist bescheiden. Die Hähnchenstreifen waren gut. Das Lammfleisch war überwiegend zäh wie Kaugummi. Auf die Frage des Chefs, wie das Essen geschmeckt hätte, antwortete ich wahrheitsgemäß und zeigte ihm die ausgespuckten Stücke Lammfleisch, woran man die Sehnen erkennen konnte. Die Reaktion des Chefs überraschte mich. Es gab weder eine Antwort noch eine Kompensation. Beim nächsten Mal geht so ein Gericht sofort zurück. Nach vielen Besuchen lässt sich sagen, dass die Qualität hier von Durchschnitt bis sehr gut reicht. Die Preise liegen über dem Durchschnitt, insbesondere wenn man hier die Lage des Restaurants berücksichtigt. Der Service ist ebenfalls Durchschnitt.

Nachdem wir schon einige Gerichte gekostet haben, dürfen wir die Küche wirklich einmal loben. Sie ist gleichbleibend super. Es ist "nur" eine verhältnismäßig kleine Karte, dafür aber frische Produkte. Die Mitarbeiter:Innen sind sehr aufmerksam und wohltuend freundlich. Sie kennen ihre Speisen und können kompetent beraten. Das Ambiente lädt innen wie außen zum Entspannen ein. Kleine Anmerkung: Es gibt hier noch Tuch-Servietten! Die Preise sind aktuell sehr moderat zu der dar gebrachten Leistung. Glückwunsch an die Köche und das Team!

Wir waren im Feb. 2023 mit insgesamt sieben Personen zum frühen Abendessen im LÓrient. Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir wurden bei der Auswahl der Speisen gut beraten, auch zu den Mengen, insbesondere bei der Vorspeise "Mazza". Gemeinsam konnten wir eine Reise zu unterschiedlichen Gewürzen und Geschmäckern antreten. Die Hauptgerichte, auch die vegetarischen überzeugten und der Abschluss war ein tolles Dessert. Wir verbrachten einen schönen Abend vor einem Theaterbesuch und können das Restaurant nur empfehlen.
