Usually service is very good. However, yesterday, food took more than 1.5 hour to be served.

Very tasty pizza, but the order took 45 minutes after the store opened on a Sunday lunchtime. The only thing that came up was that the oven would take so long - then you should either open it later or simply heat the oven earlier, 45 minutes for a pizza outside of peak times is definitely too long!

The Italian restaurant offers really delicious pizzas from the oven - the taste is absolutely convincing. Unfortunately, the experience on site at the weekend is anything but relaxed. It's extremely busy and the service seems overwhelmed by the rush. We had to wait a full 30 minutes before we even had a chance to pay our bill - despite multiple attempts to draw our attention to the service. The answer was always “same” without anything happening. The high noise level inside made the whole thing even more unsettling. For this reason, I would prefer to order the pizza to take away next time - eating on site is no longer a recommendation for me personally.

The waiters are rude and don't look at you to avoid taking orders. Taste of food is not as good as previous times. Especially, the waiters approaches has to be changed.

We were super disappointed today. The service has always been subpar, but today unfortunately the food wasn't good and the waiter was really terrible. We couldn't order any drinks the whole evening because the waiter just didn't come. The scampi on the Spaghetti Frutti di Mare was simply raw but the waiter didn't care. In the end he became unfriendly because we wanted to pay the bill separately, which we couldn't. If you speak to other waiters you will only be told that they are not responsible for our table. The men's toilet was under water which made it completely slippery and was unhygienic. To be honest, the many 5 star reviews really don't make sense to us. The restaurant simply rests on its awards.

Pizza was good but the waiter’s attitude when we are paying was really rude. I asked to pay with card (it was possible higher than 25€) and he didnt respond and waited for cash. Then he was also rushing me when i trying to prepare the money. We were trying to have a chill lunch but he ruined it for sure.

Unfortunately a very bad experience that shocked me today. I find the service terrible now. I also believe that you should treat your guests with respect and not like some kind of child that you don't take seriously. An absolute no-go at a restaurant is when there are two of you and the other person's food is there first and the other person has to wait 10 minutes for ridiculous noodles so that the other person is already halfway through eating. In addition, due to the incredibly good service, even more tips are required (ironically), even though I wanted to tip and he was shocked that it was so little. What kind of behavior is this? How dubious and unprofessional is this?

Very nice atmosphere and lots of accessories that are reminiscent of Italy. The pizzas have a very good dough that is fluffy with whole tomato pieces. Old dishes are rich and taste excellent. The service is typically Italian and very friendly and quick.

A good Italian pizza in Munich. Returning from the castle area, I stopped with my family to eat a pizza, wanting a version as similar to a Neapolitan pizza and the choice fell on Locanda Busento. Cozy place, very popular, even though it was a Monday evening, very Italian and very kind staff. The service was quicker than expected, we ordered: a pizza with rocket, a margherita and a plate of Emilian tagliatelle. All very good, rightly with a slight adherence to local taste.

Pizza very tasty. The only thing that can be annoying is if you go there at peak times. It can get very loud inside. I can highly recommend a visit here.

Service was quite slow, but it was also busy. Pizza a bit "doughy", could be a bit lighter and crispier.

It was our first visit to this pizzeria, unfortunately we were more than disappointed. It started with the drinks; some of the cola was spilled when a waiter poured it. We ordered six pizzas and the bottom and especially the edge of all of them were half burnt. Additionally, the ham on one of the pizzas was sour and in at least two cases the actual toppings did not match the description on the menu. Pizza Cardinale without basil and Pizza Tesoro (according to the menu with ricotta and spinach) with basil, green asparagus or something similar and a (!) lump of spinach (it was definitely not frozen spinach, but there were probably several layers of leaves on top of each other), which was not spread on the pizza, but was simply left as it is. Otherwise the pizza was okay, but really nothing special. In place of the missing toppings, one of our drinks had extra protein in the form of three fruit flies, when we first mentioned this to a curt waiter he said something incomprehensible, definitely not an apology. Although he kept coming to the table after placing the order to ask again what we had ordered and to bring the food, we had to ask again for the replacement drink without flies. When it finally arrived he apologized, whether for the flies in the glass or whether it took so long, we're not sure. We had to wait forever, certainly more than forty minutes, for the pasta. When paying, the same waiter tried to accept the money in disbelief until he came to a standstill. Only when we said that the amount was on the bill did he accept the money. Please excuse me, but after such a service no one can seriously expect to receive a tip, especially since there is no obligation to do so in Germany. To sum up, the service was a disaster and the food was simply a disappointment, especially since this restaurant has a good reputation and was very busy that evening.

We spontaneously went here for pizza yesterday. The restaurant was very full, but we were lucky and got a seat. Unfortunately it was very loud, which spoiled the otherwise great ambience a bit. This also meant that everything took a really long time, but the employees were all very friendly. The pizzas were very tasty, both the regular and the gluten-free ones. Because of an older review that the gluten-free pizza with the Schär ready-made crust is, I actually didn't want to order a pizza at first, but was pleasantly surprised. This was definitely not a ready-made base and it tasted very good (for gluten-free dough, you have to be honest). My best gluten-free pizza so far - and probably my new regular pizzeria (at least when I have a lot of time).

If it were just about the pizza, I would have no problem giving the restaurant 5 stars. The wood-fired pizza is awesome. But if you go to a restaurant, even more points count in a rating. Unfortunately, people here are relying heavily on the success of pizza. Ambience: the dining area is so crowded that you barely have room at the table to cut your pizza. Due to the sheer number of people, it is incredibly loud in the restaurant so that normal conversation is simply not possible. What bothered me most was the ignorance of the staff. A sugar shaker fell down - it can happen. But how long it took until this was eliminated is unbelievable. The waiter swept up broken glass and sugar - and then it lay there on the floor for a solid 5 minutes. Several other waiters ran straight through, distributing broken glass and sugar throughout the dining room. Continue eating during the original edition. 2 others stood at the bar area, watching the scene and playing on their cell phones. Waiter 1 comes back, sweeps up some of the shards and sugar and that's the end of the situation! No one else felt called upon to pick up the remaining pieces from the floor. They were still there when we left the restaurant. Service: It's been a long time since I was treated so impatiently and harshly. I wasn't allowed to say anything when ordering, people kept interrupting me and when I asked questions about the size of the drink, the waiter looked at me as if I had lost my temper. Throughout the entire visit, I was given the feeling that I was just an annoying nuisance and not his guest. When the first person in our group of 10 wanted to pay, we all had to pay! It wasn't possible to stay longer because, according to him, he had to collect everything if the billing was split. He wasn't seen again for 10 minutes and then came with 10 receipts, charged each person individually and, as if in spite of themselves, the person who had to pay first because they had to leave last. I don't live far away and have been to the restaurant here several times over the last few years. It has never been the warmest and most friendly Italian restaurant, but recent experience shows that even a great pizza is not enough to retain customers.

The ambience is a bit uncomfortably loud and a bit hectic for my first visit. After I wasn't welcomed straight away, I asked where I could find a place for one person. At my seat I was disappointed by a cold pizza after about an hour of waiting. After I told the waiter that the pizza was cold, I got a warmer pizza after about 5-10 minutes. I can't say exactly whether it was the same. The pizza was definitely warmer on the edge. In the middle there were cold cherry tomatoes hidden under the pharmaceutical ham. At the end we apologized for the cold pizza. The espresso at the end was hot, intense and free.

What a great experience! The waiters are professional and nice. Really the only thing that bugs me is, that they do not have cacio e pepe on the menu :'(

I visited the Locanda Busento Pizzeria in Munich and the pizza was really good - the dough was nice and thin and crispy, the ingredients were fresh. Service was friendly but a bit slow as we had a long wait for our order. The atmosphere is cozy, but it could be a bit tidier in some places. Overall a solid experience, but with some room for improvement in terms of service and ambience. However, for a quick, tasty pizza it's definitely worth a visit.

The food and drinks we have enjoyed here so far have been great, both in terms of taste and value for money. What is annoying is the sometimes excessively loud background noise, which makes it impossible to have a conversation, even at your own table. Nevertheless, by far, our "favorite Italians"...in Munich and the surrounding area 😁

We're a bit torn here. The pizzas we ate were very tasty. Since my wife suffers from celiac disease and is not allowed to eat gluten, we were very pleased with the gluten-free pizzas on offer. When we specifically asked, we received confirmation that there was no contamination and that the pizza was definitely gluten-free. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case, as we discovered from my wife's reaction a few hours later. If you work with food and earn your money from it, you should know how to deal with allergens, especially in an award-winning restaurant. Conclusion: If you want to eat gluten-free, you can do so without hesitation, but if you suffer from celiac disease you should stay away from it.

One of the best pizzas I have ever eaten in Germany! Highly recommend! Great service/staff. Food is prepared quickly and served fresh from the oven. Great portions and price-point. Large menu with many pizzas to choose from. Some tables are placed closely together which could be annoying if those guest are speaking loudly or have small children or dogs. Will visit again!

Waiters forget one. They don't want to do the math when they cash in. As a guest you have to reckon with zsm. Don't finish collecting, stop in the middle and run away. Seafood has caused food poisoning.

Probably the best wood fired Italian pizzeria in town! 🍕We have been here countless times and every time the restaurant is well attended - especially by Italians, which speaks for its authenticity. 😊The atmosphere is lively, the food is consistently excellent. 😋We tried almost the entire menu and were never disappointed. Every bite tastes like Italy!🇮🇹 Yes, sometimes you have to wait a little longer for your food 😅 but it's definitely worth it. Paired with good wine, served by friendly hosts – what more could you want? Absolute recommendation for anyone who wants to enjoy real Italian flair!😁😁😁

An absolute disgrace!! I called the restaurant on Tuesday to make a reservation for Friday evening. I was told on the phone that I should just come at 9 p.m. because there is 100% a table available for two people. After asking 5 times whether he was sure because it was Valentine's Day I would prefer if he reserved a table for me, he said no every time because it wasn't necessary! When we got there on Friday at 9 p.m., we were greeted by a long line in front of the door. After consulting with many people waiting, many people made reservations here. After half an hour of waiting in the cold without much movement, we left in a huff! That doesn't work at all. Places are guaranteed here that are not available in order to probably compensate for possible cancellations etc. Can't say anything about the food and ambience. We definitely won't want to make a reservation again after a number like that!

One of the top Italian restaurants in Munich. The wood-fired pizza is perfectly crispy and the toppings are also of top quality and fresh, original Italian. Everything tastes exceptionally good there, from salad to bread to beer and wine. And at normal prices. I have Italian gastronomy experience and a bit of knowledge myself. I can only warmly recommend the locanda.

Lively Italian restaurant with a wide range of Italian dishes. Sometimes you get lost in the hustle and bustle of what's going on when serving, but not for long and then things go all the quicker. It's a pleasure.

Good food. It’s too crowded at weekends. even when you have reserved a table, you have to wait to be seated.

The head waiter and some of the other waiters are amateurish, arrogant, unfriendly and forget that they have guests who are there for pleasure and enjoyment and are paying! Disorganized, arrogant and inconsiderate! Pizza is very good, but there are several pizzerias with good wood-fired pizza! Furthermore, shift reservations are absurd!

I recently picked up a takeaway pizza here and what can I say?! Incredibly delicious and to put in! It was quick and easy to pre-order by phone. Price was good and it was still very hot. I'd love to come back when I'm nearby and hungry! PS: My current company even had a Christmas party here a few years ago!

I could say , the best pizza in München. But you need to be patient to wait. Good and well prepared first mains. The appetisers are really small. Overall is a nice place.

Typical Italian restaurant. Service is very attentive and quick. Pizza from the wood oven, nice and crispy, I personally liked it too much dough. Carbonara with cream is not carbonara. Very loud in the next room and having a conversation is difficult. There are a few parking spaces in the courtyard and opposite at the forest cemetery. Price performance normal for Munich

Incredibly bad atmosphere! Very unfriendly waiters, and the EC card machine is supposedly broken... If you look at the sign, this definitely hasn't happened recently! The food comes to a table 30 minutes apart, without an apology or anything. Never again!

An excellent compromise between quality and price. This pizzeria/restaurant offers a wide range of Italian dishes with particular attention to the quality of the pizza and its ingredients. If you are in Munich I recommend this place for an evening with friends or family.

Pizza is okay but definitely nothing special

Friday 3 January 2025 we went with my wife and son to eat pizza on New Year's Eve! I must say with all sincerity that Locanda Busento's pizza has nothing to envy of the famous Sorbillo pizza in Naples, which I have eaten several times. The pizza at Locanda Busento is an exceptional pizza. Never eaten such good pizza in Germany, but not even in Italy, except in Naples!!! I can't wait to go back! Hopefully next week! A pizza this good and so easily digestible is a rarity!!! Compliments to Chefs Andrea and Franco Iaquinta and all the staff of course. Michele Barretta

The food is always very good, but the service is not always good.

The pinsa was okay, minestrone was terrible... and tasted like nothing... vegetable broth with frozen vegetables...

Been there twice. Ordered the garlic noodles twice. The first time in the evening it was the best noodles I've ever had. The second time at lunchtime it was just good noodles. I think the difference was that with the pasta when I visited at lunchtime, the cherry tomatoes were different (cooked longer) and the olive oil wasn't mixed with the pasta water. The pizza at lunchtime was very good! The olive oil with a little pasta water was a real hit that evening. Next time I'll go back for noodles in the evening.

I've now taken two weeks to find the right words for my review and hope it does justice to my experience and the restaurant. First of all, I and we will continue to enjoy food from Locando in the future, but only for take-away. Locanda is a great restaurant when it comes to good food at reasonable prices and the pizzas are some of the best in town (as far as we're concerned). Unfortunately, the service has been lacking for many years. The staff is super nice and trained, you can tell. Unfortunately, my loved one and I had to realize once again, first on the birthday, now on the anniversary, that if you don't show up as a group of more than four people, you're on lost ground. Even with a reservation, the two of us had to wait 30 minutes for our table each time. We were always served at the table after about 25 minutes and there were problems every time. Either the starter was overlooked, the main course was only brought to the table after 60 minutes - while the group arrived 10 minutes after us had already finished eating or we asked - or the wrong dessert was packed to take away (which was... only noticed at home). We've tried several times now, but unfortunately eating out doesn't work for us there. Too bad.

Waiters arrogant and stressed. But okay, it was Christmas and overcrowded. But: charge 145 euros for anti pasti, 2 plates? The waiter then quickly cashed in and left. The pizza is okay, could be crispier. It would be a shame if it weren't for the anti pasti: recommendation. But that leaves a bitter aftertaste. 40 euros for the two plates would be expensive but still within reason. But 145?

Today was the first but certainly not the last time I went there with my son. I can only report positive things and can wholeheartedly recommend it. The staff is very accommodating and very nice. It's a very busy pizzeria and that's how it should be. I would like to say thank you to all the staff and the young man who served us. We will come again. Positive. Nice service but with a bit of a wait even though it wasn't too busy at first. Large selection of Italian dishes. Negative. Steak is rather average for the price segment. Pizza was well topped, nice thin base but it would have needed longer in the oven, a bit too soggy. Spaghetti carbonara with bacon that was just too raw. All in all, the food could be improved. Service and ambience is good, a bit noisy due to the design. Parking is available free of charge on a street.

Great pizza. The cake is very good, the products are fresh and very tasty. At the entrance you are given a so-called "wait". Nice service, normal prices. Only the interior is a bit old and could be refreshed. The interior itself is more reminiscent of a fancy restaurant than an Italian pizzeria. Overall, I recommend it. The pizza is great, but the desserts... so-so... For me, tiramisu has to be with mascarpone and alcohol, here was a version suitable for children, i.e. without alcohol and with whipped cream. For me, this is not turamisu, but a cake with sponge cakes, whipped cream and cocoa. To sum up, the pizza is great, but I would go elsewhere for dessert.

Disappointing and not recommended Today, on a Saturday, we had lunch at the “Busento” restaurant. Unfortunately, it was a thoroughly disappointing experience. I ordered grilled calamari with mixed salad, price: €26. What was served was simply a disgrace: just 3 small pieces of calamari about 3 cm long on the plate. (in total it didn't even make half of an octopus) The "mixed salad" consisted of a single thin slice of pepper and two pieces of carrot - that was all. Poor is a nice way of describing it. My son's pizza (Salsiccia) was equally disappointing. There were exactly two (!) small slices of salsiccia on top – we counted. With such value for money you are at a loss for words. When we asked the waiter about it, his reaction was not only unprofessional but also incredibly disinterested. His answer: “I'm just the waiter, I don't serve the pizza.” How about passing on such complaints to the kitchen? Instead, he seemed unconcerned and indifferent. In addition, you could only pay in cash, which is also rather inconvenient these days. All in all it was a very disappointing experience. It's already expensive enough to go out to eat with your family these days, and then you get such poor service and such poor portions. We drove home hungry and frustrated. I cannot recommend this restaurant - sad and shameful. One star is already too many

The food is tasty but the service is subpar. If 7 people order and no one can eat together, then the service needs to be questioned. We will never eat there again as this is the third time we have been disappointed. Really embarrassing... the worst service in Munich

Bolognese is with pickles and more tomato sauce than minced meat. The bottom line is that it tastes like it comes from a can.

Supposed to be the best pizza in munich but coming from the US.... not very impressed. They do have truffle and ham pizza but it was ok... nothing that blew my tastebuds away.. but the preparation and cooking techniques were impressive just missing the flavor... maybe too basic for me

Everything is perfect, the environment is with BierGarten tables. Often electronic payment doesn't work and you have to have Bar Geld, who knows why!!!

I had the pleasure of eating at this wonderful Italian restaurant and it was an absolute delight! The atmosphere is welcoming and authentic, with a warm, Mediterranean touch that immediately makes you feel like you are in Italy. The service was friendly, professional and attentive - we didn't miss anything.

Aglio e Olio is brutally spicy, the waiters might point out that it's not for everyone's stomach. The food for four people came at different times, and by the time the last meal arrived, our first meal was already cold. The organization could be better. Pinsa is good!
