Liwa's Restaurant in Laatzen

We discovered Liwa's Restaurant by chance. We spontaneously got a spot for two on a Friday evening. The restaurant is a bit unassuming from the outside, but inside it's very cozy and stylishly decorated. My husband and I had the best pizza there in ages!!! At €19, it's not exactly cheap, but this pizza is truly worth every cent. The staff was very accommodating. We'd love to come back!

A culinary experience like in Italy! 🇮🇹✨ I don't even know where to begin, this Italian restaurant is simply fantastic! As soon as you enter, you're greeted warmly, as if you were visiting good friends. The atmosphere is authentic, warm, and cozy; you immediately feel at home. The food? An absolute dream! Every dish is prepared with love, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented. I ordered pasta ala Zauberei, so he should make something nice. The pasta was perfect, the pizza crispy and generously topped – like it was fresh from a stone oven in Naples. The service also deserves high praise: attentive, friendly, and with genuine Italian warmth. You can tell the team is passionate about their work. Simply a wonderful restaurant. Fantastic food. Respectful and friendly service. The owner and waitress were very personable. An excellent balance between professionalism and a relaxed, informal atmosphere. We had carbonara on the first day and pasta alla ruota the second time. Both are highly recommended! The desserts are also a must-try.

Yesterday, we were there for the first time with seven people. We had a great spot, super friendly staff, and the food was really good. The pizza was very good; we tried all the pasta dishes at the table – they were all delicious. We'll be back.

Found it by chance. I didn't have a reservation, and for a Thursday, the restaurant was busy. A table of four for me was no problem. The service was excellent, thank you, Silina. You have to be able to make a pizza well, too, and it was very good. I also had a very nice chat with the owner. I had to decline the grappa invitation because I was there on my Vespa. The owner really liked it. If I'm ever in Laatzen again, I'll definitely stop by. It was a lovely evening. Grazie

I've been there several times and have never been disappointed; the dishes are always delicious, authentic Italian. The staff always exudes a good mood, so the overall experience never disappoints. If I'm back in Hanover, I'd definitely eat there again.

Wir waren in der Nähe und sind spontan bei Liwa's gelandet. Ein großartiger Zufall, denn die Pizza war die beste, die ich seit langem hatte! Toller Teig, leckerer Belag, perfekt gebacken. Dazu sehr nettes und herzliches Personal und faire Preise. Für uns war alles perfekt!

A gem that you don't always find... I come from the western district of Hanover and have been in Laatzen a lot over the last few weeks... Everything there is really delicious and tasty.... The service is sensational and the restaurant is cozy... Thank you for the last few lovely weeks when I enjoyed coming here.

Great! Parking available. This was my second time here and I highly recommend it. The service is especially great. The food is hard to beat, but the service makes everything even better. Clean and the ingredients are fresh. I'm really very satisfied and highly recommend this place.

The service deserves significantly more stars; five isn't quite enough. We were welcomed with an extensive and excellent daily special. The food was wonderful; I finally had the chance to eat a real Parmigiana. I'd go back anytime. Luckily, there's a branch opening soon in Rethen.

I would like to give our highest possible recommendation. We found this wonderful restaurant by chance and were very impressed by its friendliness, service and quality. The telephone reservation was extremely friendly. We were warmly welcomed on site in a consistently cleaner, stylish atmosphere. The service was very professional, quick and simply pleasant, the food was prepared super quickly and fresh. The quality and taste is wonderful (including the risotto frutti di mare first class). Attention is also paid to fine details, e.g. fresh cutlery after the starter for the main course; kindly ask whether you can continue with the main course or whether you would like a short break... Little things like that make a huge difference overall. It's rare that positive reviews on Google match my personal experience. Here, however, the very positive average rating is more than justified. Thank you for a nice evening. We would love to come back. I'm happy that places like this still exist in these difficult times for the catering industry. All the best to you!

My business associate and I enjoyed a beautiful meal at this fine establishment, on our first night in Hanover. Being from the Atlantic Canada, I was delighted to try their salmon lasagna and I was not disappointed. They offer a wide selection of wines, and meal portions were great, and reasonably priced. I would like to mention our hostess Silina was very delightful and accommodating. If you are seeking a great Italian meal in a cosy dining environment, I highly recommend this fine establishment.

Food quality is extremely bad , overcooked and has quality worse than a food truck. Service is chaotic and super delayed. Very disgraceful for an Italian restaurant.

The food is good and the owner is a kind of solo entertainer and always has a saying on his lips. It almost doesn't matter that the drink request was forgotten twice, but was still charged. But this could be clarified easily.

The food tastes excellent and the service is very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is modern yet cozy. Unfortunately, card payments have recently no longer been possible there. Since I rarely have cash with me and often spontaneously decide to eat out, I will rarely have the opportunity to eat there in the future. It's a shame actually.
