We, exhibitors from Cewe Infa, spontaneously decided to stop by this pizzeria. We received a warm welcome and excellent service. It's a small, quaint pizzeria with a great atmosphere. Our food was incredibly delicious.

Everything is just right here: the staff, the food, the ambiance. How wonderful that Il Tartufo exists.

I've been to a few Italian restaurants, and this one was definitely cozy. My girlfriend and I had pizza – it was okay, but nothing special. Hence, 3 stars for the food.

My husband choose this restaurant after reading the reviews unfortunately our experience was not a good one. The service is totally despicable, while talking to the waitress and order she just left our table and came back after 5 min without saying anything. We all 3 had pasta which was not fresh, just warmed in the micro and missing salt & pepper. I wish they took time to properly prepare the order. We don’t recommend this place

Given that I've been traveling regularly throughout Europe and the world for work for 30 years, my experience at this restaurant today was negative. We sat down and they came to take our order only after calling the waitress, who had already served two tables that had arrived after us. The waitresses: one sulky and clearly annoyed with everything and everyone, the other nice and kind but clearly not her profession. The appetizer arrived after about 20 minutes. The pizzas arrived after about an hour. We ordered a plate of prosciutto crudo, the menu calls for it with melon, but we asked not to have it, asking for "a lot of prosciutto." A plate of prosciutto with three slices arrived!!!! Obviously at the same price as the plate with melon. Never again!!!! It may be a good restaurant for Germans and foreigners, but certainly a poor one for us Italians... Avoid it. A note of merit goes to some quality products (guanciale, prosciutto, etc.). Despite the positive notes, rather than return, I'd rather bang my head against a wall.

After the PS Days, we were hungry... so we quickly looked for a nearby pizzeria. We went to this pizzeria. We have to say, this pizzeria is the best we've visited in years. 5 stars is still not enough. The price/performance ratio is fantastic. Best wishes to everyone from the Leipzig tuning guys... we'll be back.

For us, Tartufo is always like a mini-Italian vacation. The restaurant isn't big, but it's very cozy. The counter is brimming with delicious antipasti and other ingredients. Service is quick. The pizzas are absolutely fantastic, especially the special ones. They also recommend dishes that aren't on the menu. We've been there many times, including with family and friends, and have never been disappointed.

Simply GREAT!!! We were here for the first time today. As soon as we walked in, we were captivated by the atmosphere; it smelled incredibly good, almost all the tables were occupied, and we felt like we were on vacation. The service was very good, friendly, attentive, yet unobtrusive. The food: just like you imagine Italian cuisine from your mother's kitchen. It simply swept us away, and we went home completely satisfied. TOP value for money! We'll definitely be back more than once. Thank you for the lovely evening with you.

Good food, but don’t go there if you intend to share a large pizza, or anything else for that matter. I took a group of 8 people there yesterday. The owner was rude and a real bully. He did not allow 2 people to share a pizza, and made our church minister (who only wanted one starter) order 2!! His explanation: he had overheads. I have rarely experienced such arrogance and bad behaviour. The service from his staff was outstanding. I won’t return.

It's a really nice little Italian restaurant with a lot of antipasti selection and also some delicacies to take away. But the pizza creations are really completely new to me. Pizza with melon, ham and balsamic cream, pizza with orange cream and hot salami, pizza with dates, honey, hot salami and Philadelphia. I can't stop raving and can only recommend every pizza lover to stop here or do a quick takeaway!! Service was also very attentive! It's always full, so make a reservation (at least on weekends). Clear recommendation for Hanover, especially if you work at the trade fair or the surrounding area!!!!

We ended up at Il Tartufo by chance and loved it! We received a warm welcome, special tables were put together, the pizzas were super tasty and fresh (we haven't had such a good pizza in a long time) and the atmosphere was very cozy and familiar. Next time we won't stop at Il Tartufo by chance, but rather specifically.

Very good authentic Italian experience

An interesting culinary experience, but no chance of getting a table without a reservation. Super fresh ingredients and also Italian delicacies to take away. Since the pizzas are also prepared in the seating area, you can enjoy the delicious smell for longer.

Ein wunderbares Lokal, klein, aber fein. Man fühlte sich in Italien bei Mama und Papa. Das Essen war vorzüglich die Bewirtung hervorragend. Wir haben ganz kurzfristig angerufen und noch einen Tisch bekommen. Ein Lokal mit voller Herzlichkeit und Wärme. Ich kann nur noch mal betonen, eine hervorragende Küche. Wir haben für die nächsten Tag einen Tisch reserviert.

Tomato soup was too sweet for me Pasta with fish... I was disappointed because I didn't get spaghetti but the short pasta... But it was ok... Service was good…the big waitress was very nice… Ambiance….well depends on where you sit…. I was next to the counter…. Not ideal….30m2 restaurant/room The little Italian boss was quite unpleasant…. Yelled at his waitress…. Complained loudly at a table of 7 because not all 10 came etc... impossible behavior...

We had reserved a table for 4 people about a week in advance. When we entered the restaurant we were a bit confused as the interior was quite full. We were all the more surprised that a place outside was reserved for us (end of September, with 14-15 degrees and sometimes drizzle). There were no heaters or anything similar, so we sat at our table with jackets and blankets. Service was good so far. Food okay, but nothing special. Overall, the restaurant felt like you were traveling back in time to the 80s/90s. Boss is also kind of weird.

Kind? No. Yummy? I have no idea, didn't get around to it. Four of us wanted to eat here. After a short wait, which was ok, we were offered a table inside. My wife politely asked whether the table outside that had just become available would also be possible. A simple "No, that's not possible because it's reserved" would have done it and we would have been seated inside. However, the extremely rude manager of the store intervened and said bluntly, either in here or we can leave (literally!). We thought we had misheard, then the whole thing was repeated again in an even harsher tone. We decided to leave, even our children asked why the man was so rude. It's a shame, because apparently the food is pretty good based on the reviews. However, with such a choleric owner, we'd rather go somewhere else.

We stayed at the H4 Hotel and walked about 15 minutes to Il Tartufo as it was the best rated restaurant within reach. We actually weren't disappointed. Guests who just wanted to pick up their orders and guests who were waiting for a table lined up on the street. Luckily we only waited about 5 minutes before we were assigned a table. Despite the busyness, the pizzas we ordered came very quickly...and they were really great. The dough was nice and thin, crispy but not dry. The toppings are also of the best quality and very well baked. However, there are deductions for the ambience. Among other things, the toilets behind the house are perhaps OK for a kebab shop that makes 90% of its sales through collection, but actually a no go for a restaurant....

One of the greatest insider tips in Hanover. Pizza, pasta with regularly changing daily specials. An absolute pleasure every time. I try a different dish every time and have to say that all of them are among the best that I have eaten at an Italian restaurant in Hanover. The number of places is limited, so call or reserve in advance.

I was eating with a friend and when she got the wrong food, the boss told her personally why she didn't just eat what she was given. What's more, the food did NOT taste good. NEVER AGAIN ! Kind regards and good luck with your visit!

After a long time we ate at Il Tartufo again because we moved away! It was wonderful! A table was provided without a reservation, the welcome made you feel right at home, the food was delicious, the team was unbeatable! It was worth choosing Il Tartufo!

Team „Tartufo“ überraschte uns mit einer stark saisonbeeinflussten Kreation: Spaghetti „Europa“ alla scallops e aglio. Leckere Jakobsmuscheln, frischer Spargel, abgerundet mit fein geraspeltem Tartufo. Eine perfekte Inspiration für unser Arbeitsessen zum Europawahlkampf – abgerundet mit einem guten Tipp der kompetenten Bedienung: ein frischer, knackiger Verdicchio. Topp!

We arrived at 9:00 p.m. and were then informed that the kitchen was already closed and that we could only be served pasta and pizza. The restaurant is actually open until 10 p.m.... It's a shame it was our first time there and wanted to try the restaurant, but apparently it was the last time.

Allein die Speisekarte war schon sehr vielversprechend, die Pizza an sich war noch besser. Freundliche Atmosphäre, freundliche Gastgeber, kleines gemütliches Lokal, die besten Bedienungen, die ich seit langem gesehen habe.

Delicious food. We got a table unannounced. The restaurant is very small, so it's better to reserve in advance.

You don't have to write much. Yes, the pizza was good. But doesn't justify coming back. Tables that are “sold” 2-3 times per evening. You are rudely told that you are eating too slowly or that you are still chewing. The question also comes to the next table as to whether they should order anything else. Otherwise the table would already be given away. There is no time for starters and dessert, so I can't rate them. We probably should have taken a bottle of wine with us. If tables are only available for 80-90 minutes, you have to let them know. For me that has nothing to do with going out for a nice meal. Then we chew and go to the checkout - where can you find something like that? And if you complain about it, the boss disappears into the kitchen. Not even open to criticism - face to face.

Il Tartufo is the name of the Restaurant AND the motto: the truffel dishes here are just spectacular and authentically italian. Maybe the best truffels I have had outside Italy... Perfect service and cosy ambience can be equally mentioned. I'll come back!!
