We were guests at your harbor restaurant on Saturday, September 6th, and we were very impressed. The large selection of food and drinks, along with very friendly service, made for a pleasant evening.

Super delicious food and very very nice boss

I can't recommend this restaurant. We wanted to have a good meal at the start of our vacation. What a shame... It took 30 minutes to order drinks, and then another 15 minutes for the drinks to arrive. Guests who arrived later got their food and drinks right away. The ginger ale was stale, and instead of two small beers, we got two large ones. Of course, they could have earned more. The food was bitterly disappointing. The tarte flambée was cold, and the potato pancake with salmon was only lukewarm. The service was unbearable and rude. You could have done without it.

Unfortunately, the schnitzel was frozen, and the fried potatoes were dry and partially burnt. And all that for €19.00, we won't be going there again.

Unfortunately, I can't recommend it. The aspic was completely overpriced at €18.50, with very little and very weak seasoning. The fried potatoes tasted like they looked: extremely greasy, half-burnt, and covered in some kind of spice (flavor enhancers?). The Spezi cost €5.90. That was probably a 6-star price. I haven't had such a bad meal in a long time. If I hadn't been in a hurry and hungry, I would have skipped it. The ambiance was so lovely, the food was so miserable.

The service was very friendly and quick, and the ambiance was simply stunning. I had the tarte flambée and my husband had the bruschetta. The tarte flambée had very little topping for its size; there was too little sour cream and, unfortunately, only five arugula leaves on top, which was too little and dry for the price. The bruschetta came in three very small slices; four would have been a nice number, and even a bit more for that price. He thought that was a bit of a shame. The cocktail was excellent.

Great service and great food. The bacon burger and hamburger schnitzel were plentiful and delicious.

I ordered the LIVE salad for a whopping €18.50 (!). Accordingly, I expected a large plate full of various salads and vegetables as a base, topped with (according to the menu) roasted nuts, chicken breast, roasted mushrooms, and fresh fruit. What I got was an outrageously small portion of leaf salad with hardly any vegetables and—admittedly—a good portion of chicken. After asking if it wasn't supposed to contain fruit (because I didn't notice the missing nuts at first), I received an apology but then only a tiny bowl with half an apricot and two halved grapes... In the meantime, I also noticed the missing nuts, which I mentioned when I received the fruit. About 5 minutes later, the nuts arrived (luckily, salad can't get cold). To top it off, the nut mix unfortunately included quite a few pumpkin seeds, including their shells, which apparently hadn't been roasted long enough and were therefore inedible because they were rock hard. The homemade dressing, unfortunately, didn't taste very good. My husband had an Aperol Spritz that was quite watered down, and his (apparently delicious) herring plate came with a side salad for €7 that contained almost nothing... Yes, the location is great and of course you pay extra for that (and because it's probably a tourist hotspot), BUT you should still at least get a little something for your money, right?? I was really disappointed and, to be honest, felt a bit ripped off.

We can't understand the positive reviews of the food at all. We had the LIVE salad with chicken breast and fruit for 18.50. The price was ridiculous considering the quantity. Plus, the fruit was canned – totally unacceptable! I'd do a better job of closing the kitchen door in the future. The chef's bare fingers are in the salad and then wipe them on his jeans... It's a shame, because the location is great, the service is quick and friendly. The place has potential.

The worst soft serve ice cream we've ever eaten...it quickly turned liquid because it was mostly water. The ice cream lumps were very noticeable in our mouths. The only nice thing is the location by the harbor. But we won't be eating ice cream there again. We also disposed of it properly after trying it twice.

We chose this restaurant because of the reviews and the location. The location is fantastic, especially because you can still enjoy the sun in the evening. The price for the zander and fried herring is abysmal. Compared to other very good restaurants on our route, we got half a portion here for the same price. The fried herring felt like it came from a can; we paid €18. The zander was drowned in oil/butter with the fried potatoes and roasted tomatoes; everything tasted the same. We ordered wine. It was bottled wine from the supermarket (Bree). We were indeed disappointed, but full. You'll probably find lovingly cooked food elsewhere.

We just stopped in for a beer. We were out cycling. We can't comment on the food, but the service was very friendly and up for a laugh. The location by the harbor was great. Highly recommended.

The prices were inflated, the chicken breast was dry, and there was no sauce for the croquettes and peas. We were disappointed and will never return.

Very nice location by the harbor, friendly service. We ordered Hamburger Schnitzel and Fried Herring, each for €20. The food was abysmally bad. We've never eaten so badly. Everything was swimming in frying oil, fried potatoes with hard, charred pieces, schnitzel the size of a shoe sole, and the creamed mushrooms an unappetizing-looking mess. You have to have some courage to serve food like this for that price. It's a shame, we expected more. We can't recommend it to anyone.

We were there yesterday after the store closed, thinking it would be open longer. We were still given a very friendly and warm welcome and were allowed to order something delicious to eat. The restaurant is beautifully located at the harbor, the service is a 10+. Our dog was also immediately provided with water. I would really like to give more stars for the food and service. We would love to come back. Thank you for letting us be your guests!

Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio (food) is not right here at all. Burgers weren't great for just under €20. The pike perch for €25 with 5 or 6 croquettes + 4 grilled tomatoes without sauce, etc. was almost a small insult. We were on our way home. It's a shame, but we won't be coming back again.

The food is good, a lot of fish. Self service but the staff is very good friendly.

After a wonderful walk to the white bridge and through the castle park, we were craving lunch. Since I had had good experiences at LIVE in the past, I invited my husband and my mom, who was visiting by the way, there. We each ordered a “Zischbier” and three “Wiener Schnitzel”. The serving staff was very nice and accommodating and took the order. We enjoyed the sun and the surroundings. After a reasonable amount of time, the plates with the "Wiener Schnitzel" were brought to us...The so-called schnitzels turned out to be dried out shoe soles, the fried potatoes as a greasy, collected something. There was nothing else on the plate, not a lettuce leaf, piece of cucumber or tomato, nothing, nothing at all appealing. Serving something like that to your guests for €18.70 per plate requires a bit of a “don’t care” mentality. The three of us have never eaten so badly in our lives. Yes, we shouldn't have accepted the plates with the food in question, it's true. I will definitely not recommend the LIVE to anyone, nor will I ever go there again. It's a shame actually...

Ich habe dem live schon mehr als eine Chance gegeben… immer wieder sticht allerdings etwas neues negatives heraus. Eine der Bedienungen schmeißt mit unangebrachten Kommentaren um sich und behandelt einen sehr respektlos. Grenzen ihres Gegenübers kann sie auch nicht wahren. Abgesehen von dem überteuerten und schlechten Essen ist sie der Grund warum wir leider nicht mehr wiederkommen werden… schade bei der schönen Lage.

We were there for lunch today. The service was friendly and tried very hard. The food was very good (duck aspic and pike perch). We will definitely stop by again 👍

Get the card and calculate the bill, especially if you are in a group paying with one bill (and by card). The billing for us was obviously incorrect and was far too high and we didn't get a full receipt, just a final amount of the card billing. After we complained about the bill, we got the shortfall back without any complaints.

Very nice little location. It's a little too dark inside for me but outside you have a wonderful view of the harbor. The service was super friendly and the pumpkin tarte flambée (created by Ruben) was awesome. I would go back at any time.

The value for money of the food was not good at all. A not overwhelming burger with fries that had already been fried... Plus a sachet of mayo for 0.80 euros extra... It came to an impressive 22.60 per burger/fries with mayo. The heaviest thing was the loveless, very small side salad for a whopping €7.50. That was cheeky. The service was very nice. Still... We won't be coming back.

Best selection of cakes in Brandenburg and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. Was here as a tourist. Phenomenal in appearance and taste.

First of all, the best thing about live: the location. The harbor of Neustrelitz is simply fantastic and so is its location. We really enjoyed coming to 'Live' back then, whether it was to eat ice cream or cake, drink cocktails or have dinner. After the reopening, we were there and won't be coming back. The burgers were a highlight back then and now consist of thawed patties. You can make burgers like this at home and you don't have to pay €20 for it. After we mentioned this, we were promised an ice cream as compensation, which, however, never came. There is only one star so that I can write a review. Just a shame!

Our accommodation recommended Live for breakfast and our expectations were exceeded! The service is incredibly good! We received a warm welcome and the scrambled eggs were freshly prepared and brought to the table! The scrambled eggs were absolutely perfect too! Best scrambled eggs! The buffet has a great selection and the price includes juice and coffee! We had a really good and cozy breakfast, you have a view of the harbor and you can start the day great for the absolute top price of 14.50 euros per person! Keep it up!!! Thanks for the great service!

Friendly staff, but apart from that incredibly bad: - There is no large bottle of still water, only sparkling. When I wanted to order tap water, the answer was "We're not allowed to give that out to the guests". - The children's meal of chicken nuggets with fries is so small (5 nuggets and a handful of fries) that even our 7-year-old was barely full. The 11 year old could have easily eaten 2 portions of it. For a price of €9.50 per serving. - The tarte flambée had a dollop of sour cream on the left and right. In between, dry dough with arugula. Once and never again!

Whenever we arrived we were ignored for at least 10 minutes. We also often had to wait a long time for a small kiba and a small cocktail. Sat for 20 minutes last time and waited for 2 drinks even though there were only 6 other people there and already had their food. The food was okay. However, the live burger was dry and the meat was hard and black.

Thanks to the nice weather we were able to sit outside, which is a big advantage given the location. The service was friendly and quick. We enjoyed the food and it was well prepared too. However, there is still room for improvement.

Location is great. Eating goes like this, the meat was bought for the burger. I wish I had made it myself. The menu was much less than on the website. To be honest, I wouldn't eat there again for the money.

Our table was not cleaned after the last guests. There was no still water. Something was forgotten from 6 meals. That came after the first guests had finished. There was a dog bowl left on the floor by the last guests. Nobody thought of clearing it away. A waiter dropped Pmmes on the way. He noticed it, but still didn't take it in. Until everyone has trampled over it 10 times. Etc etc… Service was simply incompetent.

Unfortunately I have to agree with the one-star reviews. For starters we had a fish soup that was more like a starch mash and the three most expensive bruchetta of our vacation. For the main course we ordered rump steak, duck brawn, tarte flambée and burger. The rump steak was perhaps 100 - 150 g and not 200 g as described on the menu. The tarte flambée was not only bland, but also varied. Almost burnt on one side and very biscuit-like on the other side. The duck brawn and the burger were almost a ray of hope, even though the brawn fried potatoes were swimming in fat. Even the non-alcoholic cocktail we ordered wasn't worth 8 euros; you had the feeling you were being served a fruit juice mix. Since the Kellern didn't come to the table again, I ordered a coffee at the counter. The location is actually quite beautiful, but this was marred by weeds under the glass protective walls, which also looked smeared. The parasols have also seen better days. There's a lot that's wrong here, from the service to the ambience to the food, and that's at this price point. P.s. Please save yourself a reaction like "Please talk to us, blah blah...". We did that with the fish soup and the reaction was “Ok”?!?! We definitely won't be coming back! Sorry!

We were guests once about 2 years ago. At that time we had a cozy stay with spicy meat and bruschetta. The service was cheerful. The ambience at the harbor benefits this restaurant. Unfortunately, we were a bit disappointed. The young waitress was quite friendly. It was very windy, so we originally wanted to sit inside. However, the music was way too loud and it didn't seem comfortable, so we sat outside. About our dishes: Unfortunately the "fresh" waffles were not fresh. They seemed to have just been warmed up and were therefore tough and dry. Unfortunately, the cherries were also strangely thickened, but the taste was okay. For the children's meal it was not possible to just order chicken nuggets because the fries were mandatory in the bundle. However, since the child had already drunk an iced chocolate beforehand, the appetite was no longer as great. The fish soup was OK. The food is probably completely pre-cooked/pre-baked and therefore loses its taste. But for us it was the last visit.

A burger for 21.60 euros? Have I misread? Whether with avocado dressing or not, whether at the harbor or not: the operator's greed for money should be answered by boycotting this place. Nothing justifies such exorbitantly high prices. Not a yuppy atmosphere either. After all, anyone who likes to surround themselves with luxury will get a bill that gives him or her the feeling of being important and being able to afford something. Apparently you can buy self-esteem.

Nice little shop. Somewhat cool atmosphere inside - very nice outside. We had walleye and game. The pike perch was delicious. Unfortunately the game wasn't pink and was a bit too cooked - but it still tasted good. Service was quick and good.

Tolle Location, aber 22 Euro für einen Salatvon der Größe eines Beilagensalates mit einer 1 cm dicken Baguettescheibe on top grenzt an Abzocke und ließ mich fassungslos (und hungrig) zurück. Nicht zu empfehlen.

We stayed in the Slubes at the city harbor in July. We don't understand the negative reviews at all 🤔. The staff is absolutely friendly, on the ball and careful... They even noticed that we didn't want any spring onions in our food. There wasn't a long wait for the menu, food or drinks. Everything tasted very good......food was warm......drinks were cold. The breakfast buffet was amazing...there was enough of everything...otherwise it was filled up immediately when something was empty...the scrambled eggs were freshly prepared for each guest, even though the service was poor was alone in the breakfast business and then also ran around in the evening business (due to a lack of staff.......which everyone who is looking for staff in every industry should have noticed). The price of €14.50 is absolutely justified. And when I consider how the prices for our daily lives have multiplied, I think the prices are absolutely justified, as the price increases do not stop at restaurateurs. The best thing for us was that we were able to take our last drink with us to the Slube and return the glasses the next day 😍😍😍. The location at the city harbor with the view is an absolute dream... especially in the evening sun ☀️🌞. There would also be 10 of us ⭐️, but UNFORTUNATELY that's not possible and so just THANK YOU for the great time and if we end up in Neustrelitz again.......we'll be back ❤️.

Unfortunately, the live at the harbor is getting worse and worse, 5 years ago I gave it 5 stars but now I'm forcing myself to give it two stars. As soon as something more is going on, they no longer have anything under control. You are forgotten, you wait 20 minutes until you even get a card. It's great that you're showing football, but if you can't handle the crowds then just don't do it. The food is great, but that's the only thing.

We took advantage of the all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet and were very satisfied for €14.50. The food was delicious and fresh, the selection was sufficient! The ambience at the harbor was of course fantastic and the service was very nice, courteous and really on the ball. We can only recommend it! :)

Was totally disappointed. When we went into the restaurant it was already super cold there. And sat there with a jacket. As a starter we ordered bruchetta. This was served to us cold, like fresh from the fridge. When we got our main course: pink fried saddle of game with onion mash and mushrooms, I thought I was in the wrong film. The “pink fried” saddle of venison was burnt on one side and was completely firm and dry. And you can't say anything about the onion mash. It tastes 1:1 like a 5-minute terrine from Maggi. Plus it's cold. Just not delicious. The mushrooms were the only good thing. It has to be said that the “boss” here talks to her staff as if they were slaves. The staff was constantly criticized and insulted. She then sat around with her children and the young, nice employee had to do most of the work herself. Just disappointing here. And simply unbelievable for the price.

Very nice service. Food was freshly prepared and very plentiful!!! The breakfast buffet is also appealing and delicious. Buns are still warm! And even if there is only one waitress, scrambled eggs can be prepared upon request. Thank you for this nice and friendly atmosphere! Highly recommended.

I had a mixed salad with roasted nuts and strips of zander. The salad was fresh, the roasted nuts gave the salad a strong note. The walleye was on point.

A very nice restaurant, with one drawback: card payment not possible. It was very tasty and the view is beautiful.

Nice place but that's not art at the harbor. The service was completely overwhelmed even though it wasn't overcrowded. A drink was forgotten and the dark beer was warm! There are no coasters and we had to put the tables together ourselves upon request. The food took an average amount of time, so that was okay and it came to the table at the same time. One of the burgers was slightly undercooked but still ok. For 6 dishes and 9 drinks over €200!! Absolutely outrageous price for the size of the dishes. Because it didn't taste particularly tasty considering the price - you can get it much cheaper and tastier elsewhere. Nevertheless, you could eat it and feel full. All in all, I wouldn't recommend it.

Bruschetta, bread totally soft, tomatoes no taste, rocket totally wilted, Tagliatelle with pesto were floating in the oil, there was no salt, the food came and there was no cutlery, drinks only came after the meal, on the whole unfortunately not worth the money, sorry

Long waiting time with hardly any guests. Price-performance of the cocktails unjustified. Instant noodles were cold. Salad is very manageable and tastes more like dishwater. The fish on it was good, but didn't justify the price. The same applies to the burger. Nice location, much more could be done with it. A pity. That wasn't a nice birthday meal.

The taste was OK, but it wasn't nicely presented and the price was rather expensive for the portion. The location is of course pretty cool but that doesn't excuse the price. The staff is very friendly but unfortunately seems overwhelmed. Conclusion for me: I prefer to visit other restaurants in Neustrelitz where I don't have this beautiful view but get more for my money

Sind mit dem Kaffe nicht zu Frieden ,sehr überteuert für Getränke und Kuchen was nicht selbst gemacht ist und es nur zwei Sorten Kuchen gab ,die Bedienung kann sich nicht alles merken zwei Bestellungen kamen gar nicht ,heiße Schokolade schmeckte wie Wasser Kaffe auch nicht besser worauf wir gezahlt und gegangen sind .Nicht zu empfehlen.

Very nice service, everything tasted great, I didn't have to wait long, everything was satisfactory.

Young, friendly and considerate staff. The furnishings seem a bit thrown together, but that doesn't detract from the quality of the food. We had breakfast and dinner there during our short vacation. Fresh, sufficient and tasty.

It took a long time for our order to be taken. The asparagus cream soup was grainy and you had to look for the asparagus pieces. The salad as a main course with chicken was not a filling portion. The chicken pieces looked the same size (finished product) and were not deliciously seasoned or crispy. The salad dressing tasted like ready-made sauce and ran past the salad because it was so thin. I paid around €20. Tourist rip-off and what's the point of having to pay extra for the salad with the "Wiener Schnitzel" schnitzel.

The delicious cakes are recommended here. Very friendly service.
