I would like to give more stars because the Livan is really SO delicious! The four of us shared various mezzes and could have really fooled us. Plus friendly and attentive hosts. The ambience in the restaurant is also great.

Simply had a perfect evening with the family, very lovely service from the boss himself. Pleasant atmosphere and the food was simply incredibly tasty, I haven't been so satisfied with a visit to a restaurant in a long time! Absolute recommendation!

We went to Livan for a company dinner and everything went well. The food was very good and you really have to be able to prepare lamb. Livan can! Only the drinks could have come a little quicker!

If you want to eat well in a really nice oriental ambience, this is the right place for you. The boss is very nice and the food (we had put together various warm and cold starters as a mezze) was very tasty and freshly prepared. The Lebanese red wine as well as fresh mint tea, Arabic mocha, baklava and arag rounded the whole thing off perfectly. We would love to come back!

We were really fascinated by the warm hospitality, a chef who puts his heart into it and runs his beautiful restaurant with passion. The food tasted really tasty and we were very impressed. Especially the homemade haloumi that melts in your mouth and the hummus with avocado. A culinary delight. Here you can only feel comfortable. Everything fresh and homemade. Thank you very much for the great menu and the friendliness. We'll be back.

Yesterday we had Lebanese food for the first time. It was a real culinary highlight for a long time. With perfect service, perfect ambience and sensational food. We can recommend it without reservation!

Lovers of Levantine cuisine will fully enjoy LIVAN. A lovingly, orientally furnished restaurant, you can feel a lot of passion and attention to detail here, and not just in the choice of interior. The service and advice were very good. We didn't drink any wine due to the warm weather, although there is an interesting Lebanese wine list. The menu offers a wide selection of traditional cold and hot Levantine starters. The scent of these oriental spices is overwhelming, not exaggerated and cleverly composed. We particularly recommend the homemade Hallumni Tajin, as well as the Avocado Mutabal Cream with roasted almonds. The lettuce hearts are crunchy and the herbs are aromatic and fresh. At LIVAN you get lamb without the typical lamb taste, thanks to the elaborate preparation of the meat. I definitely recommend trying kibbeh. All dishes come with fresh homemade Lebanese flatbread. The prices are completely reasonable for the quality offered. Conclusion: Absolutely recommended! However, a reservation by telephone is necessary. I'll be back soon and look forward to the rest of the dishes.

The boss is super friendly, that starts with the reservation! When ordering, you are asked directly whether you have ever eaten Lebanese, great advice and always very friendly. Instead of taking as much money out of our pockets as possible, it is really important that the customer is satisfied. So we were recommended to take a few starter plates first and then order main courses if we were really hungry. The presentation of the food verbally and visually is only surpassed by the taste. The restaurant is a bit out of the way but definitely worth a visit!

For a dish that costs €17, a few pieces of meat, some bread, a small pile of about 5 by 5 cm of hummus, the same size of garlic yoghurt and some sliced ​​pickled cucumber and salty beetroot with a mini salad. There was still a lot of white visible on the plate.

Great restaurant, great service, delicious food!

There were four of us and we ate everything together. It was placed in the middle of the table and we helped ourselves to everything. It was all very, very tasty. We received great advice and very friendly service from the owner, who cooks and serves at the same time. The waiting time was perfectly fine, after all I'm not in a fast food restaurant. We were completely satisfied...I would even say thrilled.

It's a shame that you can only give 5 stars, because you would have to add an additional star for the ambience and also for the excellent food and the loving service. If you want to enjoy a holiday evening, be enchanted and enjoy your meal, then Livan is an absolute insider tip, a pleasure, no matter whether in the magical ambience of the restaurant inside or in the beautiful garden.

The food is really delicious. The Halloumni Tagine in particular is super tasty. For me, around 1.5 warm dishes are enough to fill me up. I thought it was a shame that there was so little going on, because the food, service and atmosphere are really great. Perhaps local social media cooperation, a social media presence or other advertising measures are an option to generate more customers.

Visited the restaurant on recommendation and found it satisfactory overall. The oriental dishes were good, with a decent selection of different flavors. The service was very professional and the ambience was appropriate. A decent place for an oriental meal

Small but nice restaurant with delicious food. Both the mezze (Foul, Halloumi Tajin, Batata Harra, and much more) and the main courses (e.g. the Kufta Tajin with a bread lid or the minced burger with what appeared to be a hand-chopped patty) were great. It's also nice that it's not too loud and you can therefore have a good conversation. When we visited, the boss was mostly running the place on his own. Nevertheless, he was attentive, friendly and was happy about the understanding shown to him. We didn't have to wait really long for the dishes either. We'd love to come back.

Overall = DISAPPOINTING The ambience in the restaurant is very appealing. The waitress was friendly but rather shy. We had to wait 20 minutes for drinks. We wanted to order starters first, but we were advised to order the main courses straight away as they would take longer. As soon as all the starters were on the table (5 different ones for 4 people), the main courses arrived. So bad timing. Regarding the taste: nothing really blew us away, on the contrary. Mint quark almost without mint, garlic paste almost without garlic and otherwise: there was a complete lack of spices. The dessert - a small plate provided by the house - was also very boring. Lebanese mocha = insufficient. I know a little about Lebanese cuisine and was really looking forward to this restaurant. But this was disappointing. Unfortunately. Not having fun cost us a lot of money - our plan to treat ourselves to an extraordinary dinner unfortunately went awry.

We were a group of 16 people, that has to be mentioned beforehand. Unfortunately the food only came in dribs and drabs. I didn't get my food until everyone else had already finished. The ambience is great, the service was attentive, even if her German wasn't good and she didn't understand English at all. I didn't really find the prices for the portions (as mentioned in other reviews) justified. However, it tastes very good and the quality is okay. Reaching us by telephone is difficult. I left our reservation on the answering machine but was never called back. So I had to try 4 more times at different times on different days until I knew my reservation had arrived.

I was there today, December 23rd. Chef was cook and service as a one man show and delivered. Always friendly and accommodating. I ordered the falafel burger and got the interpretation in Lebanese - what can I say, a hit. This is how you discover new tastes and I also quickly made it vegan with an improvised sauce that was just really good. Definitely coming back. Small note: the price is higher, but you get imported goods for the bowls, please don't forget that. That costs too. And if you want to eat a lot for little money, go somewhere else. Discover here!

Tolles Restaurant mit sehr schönem Ambiente und sehr freundlichem Service. Aussergewöhnliche Gerichte mit vielen Gewürzen, sehr aromatisch und super lecker. Man fühlt sich sehr wohl dort. Absolut empfehlenswert. Abtauchen in eine andere Welt.

Habe Falafel Box probiert, die war hervorragend von Geschmack und knusprige Konsistenz. Hähnchen wrap war im Gegensatz eine Enttäuschung, Brot gab aus einer tute also nicht selbst gebacken und das Fleisch sowie die Zutaten haben mir geschmacklich nicht überzeugt.

Wir hatten die Mezes. Das Essen was super geschmacksvoll. Sehr nette Bedienerin. Lecker Nachtische. Die Preise sind etwas höher - 8-10€ pro Meter aber es lohnt sich ab und zu.

Ein sehr gepflegtes Ambiente, extrem höfliches Personal und das Essen ist sehr fein abgeschmeckt. Das Hähnchen war butterzart, und die Würze sehr bedacht, nicht zu scharf. Das Restaurant ist eine klare Empfehlung für alle Freunde der libanesischen Küche.

Ein tolles kleines feines schö eingerichtetes libanesisches Lokal, mit einem sympathische sehr freundlichem Sevice. Wer Kichererbsen, Auberginen, Lamm und Co. und wunderbare Gewürze , als MezzeMezze liebt, wird hier mehr als reichlich fündig und neben sehr guter Qualität mit einem besonderen Essen belohnt. Sehr lecker.- großer Hunger bedeutet hier aber auch ein etwas größerer Geldbeutel... daher am besten mit Freunde/Familie hingehen, dann hat man mer Auswahl...

Mega lecker und mega schönes Ambiente! Die Bedienung war super freundlich! Einzige Empfehlung: Auf Nachfrage bzgl Vorspeisenteller für 2 Personen auch für 1 Person wurde leider gesagt geht nicht. Fand ich in der heutigen Zeit der vielen Singles nicht ganz ok. Wäre eine Verbesserung, wenn das auch möglich gemacht wird. Deswegen nur 4 Sterne!, sonst wären es definitiv 5 Sterne!! Vielleicht denkt ihr ja nochmal drüber nach. 😊

Wir reservierten einen Tisch für 13 Mann und besuchten dieses Restaurant. Und ich bin sprachlos!!! Die Bedienung erklärt jedem einzelnen wenn man fragen hat was das Essen genau ist und die Größe der Portionen. Sehr nett und das Essen ist der Wahnsinn. Natürlich ist es etwas stärker gewürzt als die deutsche Küche aber dafür einzigartig. Ich empfehle es für jeden der das Essen genießt und weis was essen ist. Wir haben uns zusätzlich alle nochmal beim Koch und der Bedienung bedankt für diesen tollen Service und dem Essen. Wir kommen öfter 😊 Vielen lieben Dank P.s. Der Preis ist etwas gehobener aber die Qualität ist es allemale wert.

Vegetarisches Essen super lecker. Sehr sehr nette und schnelle Bedienung. Auch sonst tolles Ambiente. Ja der Preis ist tatsächlich etwas höher, aber denke ist der Qualität geschultet. Sehr schön und authentisch wirkend eingerichtetes Restaurant. Super netter Service und tolles Essen. Hier findet jeder etwas. Ein besonderes Erlebnis.

Auf der Suche wieder mal was neues auszuprobieren, wurden wir auf dieses Lokal aufmerksam gemacht. Das Ambiente ist absolut fantastisch und authentisch.😁 Der Service (die junge Dame) wirkte meist unsicher und etwas überfordert, blieb aber immer sehr freundlich und nett. Das Essen ist wirklich 😋 und wird einem schön angerichtet serviert. Auch der Tee... ein absolutes Highlight😍 Ein, zwei Sachen wie die Bratwürste und die Hähnchenleber war uns persönlich zu sauer vom Geschmack. Aber wie man so schön sagt... Geschmäcker sind verschieden und das ist auch gut so. Preislich meiner Meinung etwas zu teuer, deswegen 1 Stern weniger.
