Little Saigon in Bremen

I recently visited this Vietnamese restaurant, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The food was incredibly authentic — full of rich, traditional flavors that reminded me of Vietnam. Every dish was fresh, beautifully presented, and perfectly balanced in taste. The service was outstanding as well. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure we had a great time. Considering the quality of the food and service, the prices were very reasonable. The restaurant offers great value for money, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Vietnamese dining experience

I wholeheartedly recommend this Vietnamese restaurant! The food is simply fantastic – authentic, fresh, and prepared with such attention to detail that you can taste it in every bite. The flavors are perfectly balanced, and the tastes transport you straight to Vietnam. The service is just as great: super friendly, attentive, and warm, without being intrusive. You immediately feel welcome and in good hands. The ambiance is exactly what you'd want for a street food restaurant – uncomplicated, cozy, and authentic. It fits the concept perfectly and lets you forget about everyday life for a moment. I have to admit, though, that I'm a little biased, as I knew the owners from back when they ran a small snack bar. Even then, their food was great – and now, in this restaurant, they've taken it to an even higher level. All in all: five stars, without question. Anyone who loves authentic Vietnamese cuisine should definitely stop by.

pleasant, tasty, good value for money, everything fine

I've eaten there several times and ordered some. It's never been bad, but I find the soups to be significantly too sweet. A certain amount of sugar is great and important, but here it's a bit too much. Additionally, a fairly large amount of spices always collects at the bottom of the bowl, making the remaining soup almost unpalatable. I can highly recommend the Banh Hoi Heo Quay, though – it's truly delicious! The staff is always very friendly and attentive, which makes the visit particularly pleasant.

It's incredibly delicious, and I definitely want to go back there next time I'm in Bremen. The value for money is excellent, and the service is very friendly.

Incredibly good and authentic Vietnamese cuisine. And the food is a feast for the eyes, as the plates and delivery packages are already arranged. So far, everything has been delicious and fresh, whether eaten in or delivered. I would love to have dishes for kids. The rolled noodles, in particular, would be great as a half portion. That's certainly possible on-site by arrangement, but unfortunately not yet when ordering. Oh, and the service has always been friendly.

Great restaurant at first glance. Beautifully decorated, traditional Vietnamese menu (I haven't seen anything as specific as this at any other restaurant). However, the allergen labels were misleading or incorrect. Sometimes they were listed, sometimes they were missing. When I asked, I was given clarification. The food: Starter: I would have expected the spring rolls to be larger. The taste was excellent, though. Main course: very tasty, but the soup with roasted onions came without any warning. These usually contain gluten. When I pointed this out to the waiter, an apology was offered, but it's definitely not enough for allergy sufferers. Therefore, not recommended for people with celiac disease. Portions are large for the price. Dessert: extremely special, delicious, and a large portion. I would recommend it to everyone. Overall, a very tasty meal, great atmosphere. If the allergens were better labeled, I would give it 5*.

We were at Little Saigon last night! Since every table inside was taken, we sat outside with our dog. We were immediately given water and received a very warm welcome! The staff was very friendly and accommodating throughout. The food was incredibly delicious! I don't think I've ever had such good Vietnamese food—no frills, just authentically delicious. We'll probably be back very soon because we want to try even more dishes!

I ordered food, and the portion was tiny. For almost €20, this was beyond outrageous.

I was truly impressed by this Vietnamese restaurant! Finally, a place where vegetarian dishes aren't just meant as side dishes, but are prepared creatively and with love. I particularly enjoyed the vegetarian pho and the vegetarian banh mhi. So much flavor without any meat! The staff was also super friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting.

Today is a day full of energy even though the weather is not winter, autumn is not autumn.. in the middle of a week of pouring rain every day, hungry, not because of the cold climate, but because of my effort, driving 4.5 hours to get to the place we chose for our winter vacation, which is Bremen city located in the northwest of majestic Germany.. accidentally chose 👍 a restaurant that must be said to be excellent in terms of food quality, service, and cleanliness. will. Eating is addictive because of the flavor and regional culture, the way of preparation is completely Southern like Hu Tieu Nam Vang and more specifically Hue dish Hue beef noodle soup is more delicious than expected "in the bowl there is also fruit (pork trotters) which makes the bowl of vermicelli more attractive." I just want to say one thing to my fellow countrymen when you come to Bremen in Germany 🇩🇪, stop by immediately to enjoy the wonderful charm of this restaurant. We got banh mi for lunch. The service was impeccable and very friendly. The banh mi is highly recommended; it's very, very tasty and great value for money!

A local friend who lives in Bremen brought me to a very good Vietnamese restaurant. We ordered two bowls of noodles, a sandwich and a portion of bahn hoi with grilled meat. The noodles were average, and the rice noodles were not particularly flavorful, so they were not outstanding. But the soup was delicious. However, the grilled meat rice noodles were very good. Spread the rice noodles and wrap the grilled meat, lettuce and side dishes like spring rolls. It was very unique and delicious. Worth recommending. In addition, there is freshly squeezed sugar cane in the store, which feels quite atmospheric.

Highly recommended. I had summer rolls with vegan sausage and vegan banh mi and was more than impressed. It even tasted better than in Vietnam. The waiter and the bartender were both very friendly. I'll go back when I'm back in Bremen.

I really like this place and will return. Food is tasty and authentic tasting. I had the spicy soup the first time and it was excellent, and tried the beef vermicelli and it was pretty good too. Marked one star off because the meat was a little chewy and the person I was having a meal with seemed to think his duck meal chewy. I ordered the dessert drink which was nice to see on the menu. I would have liked more shaved than crushed ice but it was nice. Service is quick and friendly and the atmosphere nice with the Vietnamese lanterns and decor.

The Little Saigon: impresses with typical Vietnamese cuisine, very good service and a reasonable price/performance ratio. The dishes are seasoned to a Western European standard, but are still well balanced in terms of taste. If you want it more spicy, you can add more seasoning. If you want to criticize something: The use of beef could have been more generous.

I've been there twice now and ordered several times. The service is great! The dishes are even explained, how you should eat what is best and what various sauces are for. I think it's great! Furthermore, the food is totally fresh. Every time I had an extra request, it was taken into account. Love this shop!

We decided to eat at a Vietnamese restaurant and were not disappointed. I ordered pork with vegetables and loved it. The meat was very tender and the rice was also very good. The Little Saigon restaurant in Bremen is an absolute must for fans of Vietnamese cuisine! I was particularly impressed by the beef pho - the noodles were perfectly prepared, pleasantly al dente and harmonized wonderfully with the aromatic broth and fresh herbs. The combination was a real treat and the taste took me straight to Vietnam. The service was also warm and attentive. A great restaurant that I can only recommend!

The banh mi is great here! There are also refreshing drinks here! And Che Thai is my absolute favorite :) but unfortunately Pho Bo didn't convince me here :/ Service was okay. Otherwise I really enjoyed my stay here :)

We had lunch with the family, everything tasted very good, the portions were quite large, everything was very tasty! But... the prices on the menu don't correspond to reality, so the bill was a little higher than expected...

Don't let your first impression put you off when it comes to the ambience from the outside. The service was super polite and accommodating, if you see it as petty, even a little too much, in short, great. When choosing the food you didn't know what to take because a lot of it was appealing. The food came quickly and was super tasty. Since it was our first time there, the method of consumption was explained to us. It's not something you can just open your mouth and just do with it. Our conclusion: gladly again.

I've been looking forward to this Vietnamese restaurant for a long time. The food was great and the waiter took the time to explain the order of the dishes to us. The women's toilet, which was equipped with many useful hygiene items, was also particularly attentive. Highly recommended

Based on earlier reviews, I sought out this place for it's highly recommended Pho. What a disappointment. I could do better with beef bouillon. And there were pieces of liver in my bowl. My wife was happy with her crispy pork spring rolls with veg and rice noodle.

We enjoyed the food and the service was also very nice. What really surprised me was the super clean toilet. Keep it up!

Unfortunately only 2 stars. Although the food is really good. I have to say it is one of the best Asian cuisines I have ever eaten. But besides the food, there are also other important aspects, such as the service. We ordered a starter, two main courses and drinks. The starter was very good, the price was reasonable for the portion... However, in my opinion the waiting time was a bit too long for a starter. But the place was full, so you can somehow justify it. As for the main course... here too, in my opinion, the waiting time was too long... but we only got one dish, although two dishes were ordered, including for my wife. After I got my dish, I ordered another drink, which I didn't receive... The waitress forgot it! And about 10 minutes after receiving my order, the waiter came and said that my wife's order cannot be fulfilled because the ingredients for it are no longer available!!! Simply a disaster... This could have been solved more quickly... Excuses alone don't help... Unfortunately, I'm not in Bremen often, so I won't go there again... As I said, the food is really good, but the service is bad... Best regards.
