A beautiful, unique, and inviting personal restaurant. It feels like visiting friends. The staff exudes a calming atmosphere! And yet, the drinks and food arrive quickly. We were a party of eight with a reservation and had a starter that was perfect for sharing, bowls, and kale. Since the chef always brings back new inspiration from her travels, you can look forward to new variations.

We discovered this place for dinner during a short trip to Bremen. It was so good that we came back for breakfast. A big compliment to the kitchen and service.

The food was delicious and unique. For example, they served samphire as a topping. However, it's quite cramped, a bit noisy, and depending on where you sit, a little drafty. The service was very friendly.

My experience at Greta's today was unfortunately very disappointing. Although the website states that there are several vegan options, the waiter informed me that this wasn't the case. Even the bagels were made with animal products. Apparently, it depended on the individual cook. Advertising vegan meals but then not actually offering any is truly unacceptable. If I hadn't asked, I would have ingested allergens that would have made me very ill. They should just remove vegan options from the menu altogether!

Unfortunately, there were no vegan breakfast options – the word "vegan" appears a bit too frequently on the menu, and sadly, without any real added value. The space felt very cramped overall; I also have my doubts about its fire safety. All the vegan "options" were combined with non-vegan products. Neither bagels nor waffles were available in a vegan version.

Hidden away, unassuming on the street. The entrance is decorated with flowers, inviting you to stop and take a look. It worked. My interest is piqued. The name Greta has nothing to do with Greek food. It's a small, cozy restaurant, narrow and long, decorated and styled with lots of accessories. Lunch is only available on weekdays. On weekends, it's only served from 4 pm. Well then, I'll try these bowls. Lots of fruit, vitamins, and all that. This Funk Me food makes me feel years younger.

A small restaurant with surprisingly fresh dishes. Very friendly service, a cozy atmosphere with lots of little touches that bring back childhood memories. They offer a wide variety of bowls, and the concise menu should have something for everyone. So, if you're looking for something different from schnitzel, currywurst, and the like, this is the place to go. We found the prices reasonable. We'll definitely be back.

What Greta's manages to achieve with just two servers and one person in the kitchen is unbelievable. The food is so delicious, the service so genuinely friendly – ​​we truly experienced hospitality. Go there! Eat, drink! Make yourselves at home!

Great location, making it really easy to get to. The staff was very busy that day, which I attribute to the mediocre attention to the guests. They were friendly nonetheless. The coffee was unfortunately too hot; once cooled, it was drinkable, but the heat still left a bitter aftertaste. The decor is colorful, and there's plenty to explore. However, the tables are WAY too close together for my taste, so a conversation might be interesting for the neighboring tables as well ;).

The cake is divine, the coffee is divine, and the staff are so welcoming you'd almost like to adopt them. We were even allowed to leave our suitcases after the shop closed, and the employee not only recommended a beautiful walking path but also heroically sacrificed his fingers to light a candle for us. I've rarely been welcomed so warmly in a café. It's truly cozy inside, everything is made with love, and the prices are almost guilt-inducing. Absolutely recommended!

There can only be 5 stars for everything here: Greta has made it her mission to be as "colorful" as possible in everything: food and ambiance, and she succeeds. The food was very creative, colorful, beautifully presented, and, of course, very delicious. I had porcini mushroom ravioli with beetroot sauce, sweet potato and Parmesan chips, and sprouts. A pleasantly surprising meal! My friend's gnocchi couldn't keep up: they weren't as colorful and not as "refreshing" as my meal. But that's complaining at a high level. The girls serving were very friendly and efficient. The ambiance was charming and colorful. We'd be happy to come back.

I ordered a tomato and mozzarella bagel. The food arrived without further ado, with only mozzarella and no tomatoes on the bagel. When I asked, they said they were out of tomatoes, so they gave me chutney. Unfortunately, I don't think that's okay. In the end, I paid full price; no one mentioned that they didn't have tomatoes for a tomato and mozzarella bagel. Unfortunately, that ruined the visit.

The three of us stopped by Greta's for a coffee and cake break! We ordered a large cappuccino (€4.90 each), a latte macchiato (€4.90 each), and an Americano (€3.50 each). We also had a slice of poppy seed and orange cake (€5.90 each) and a slice of tiramisu (€6.90 each). (The Greta's team bakes and cooks sugar-free and mostly gluten-free. 👌👌) The coffees were all good – what was particularly interesting to me were the fruits served with the coffees! 👌 Of the cakes, we liked the poppy seed and orange cake the best. I also have to mention that Greta's Café serves all-day breakfast, as well as fresh juices. 😍 At Greta's Café, you can sit inside or outside and enjoy the view of the lake. Restrooms are also available, and you can also pay by card. In any case, Greta's is a good place—whether you're a little or very hungry, or just want to take a coffee break. The staff are also very polite and helpful.

I went to Greta's Essen with my girlfriend on Monday and can highly recommend the place. I treated myself to the large Geo's breakfast for €18.90, as I hadn't really eaten breakfast until 3 p.m. The breakfast is packed with protein. It's incredibly delicious, with scrambled eggs, salmon, Parma ham, poached egg, and more. The dishes are listed on Greta's website with the exact ingredients. I will be visiting Greta's regularly in the future, as I want to try a few more dishes. See for yourself :)

The food was excellent. It left you feeling good afterward, and there was no midday slump. The staff was very friendly and attentive. It's especially nice to sit outside with a view of the lake.

We had a wonderful meal here on our first evening in Bremen, the level was not surpassed on the other evenings. Small-scale and personal, with a limited number of seats on the edge of the park. The food was really delicious. And the service very friendly.

Unfortunately, our visit to Greta's was a disappointment. The two of us had reserved a table for 10. Unfortunately, they forgot to take our order. No problem! After 30 minutes, we made ourselves known and ordered. Unfortunately, it took an hour and a half (!!!!) to get our order. Unfortunately, it was the wrong order, and we still didn't have our food. After two hours, we said our goodbyes and left the cafe hungry. The staff were super friendly, and the cafe is nicely decorated, but that really put a damper on my Sunday.

The restaurant's location is truly beautiful. Right on the lake, lush greenery surrounds the place, and the restaurant is located in the back of the building with a long glass front. This provides natural light. The interior is very unique and lovingly designed. The waiters are all very friendly. We were served a little late at first, but after politely asking, we were served immediately. The food was fantastic. Very tasty and excellent value for money. We had the three-way chutney for starters. It was delicious! The main courses were lovingly decorated and the flavors were perfectly balanced. Both the schnitzel and the sweet potato bowl were a dream. A slice of tiramisu cake was a must to finish off the meal. Our waitress was also attentive, friendly, and always on call if we had any requests. (I highly recommend the homemade orange-ginger lemonade!) Highly recommended!

Gretas is a place where you can feel good. The food was simply fantastic: I had the plain scrambled eggs and the bagel with shredded buffalo mozzarella – both very creatively prepared and tastefully on a whole new level. Fresh, healthy ingredients, simply combined perfectly! The crema coffee was served with a slice of orange and had a special aroma, truly delicious, just the way coffee should taste! The location is tastefully decorated, with lots of green plants, warm colors, and small, loving details everywhere. Soft music played in the background, mostly classics from the 80s – every now and then, the kitchen staff quietly hummed or sang along, which added even more charm to the place. The team was incredibly friendly and pleasantly relaxed. I'm really glad I discovered this place!

Went to Greta’s Café last week and had the Lotus Cheesecake – and wow, I was in heaven! So creamy, so delicious, just right up my alley. I swear, I'll come back to Bremen just because of this cheesecake. The atmosphere was also super relaxed, the café is really cozy and the team is super friendly. Feels like a little feel-good place in the middle of the city. Already one of my favorite cafés in Bremen!

Greta's is a small, sweet, great shop. We were there on Sunday shortly before closing time and had a delicious meal. So delicious that I got some for my train ride on Monday. The rhubarb/asparagus risotto was awesome. 😋😋😋 Thank you I swear I'll definitely come back.
