Greta's in Bremen

Impressively good! I felt like a regular from the start, even though it was my first time here. That's how it's done in a restaurant :D And the food was really delicious, too!

A great location in a beautiful setting, great breakfast, definitely worth the price! The service was extremely friendly and accommodating. If you stay in Bremen again, a visit to Gretas is a must. We had reserved for a Saturday morning, which you should definitely do, all the tables were fully booked.

A casual team, always in a good mood, that creates a very pleasant atmosphere. Very tasty bagels, great selection for breakfast and really great weekly changing lunch menu. I've never left here hungry. Keep it up 💪

We discovered Greta's spontaneously and were absolutely thrilled. Everyone will find something here - whether grandma and grandpa with home cooking or the vegan heart with creative and modern bowls, waffles and smoothies. In terms of price, everything is extremely fair and the friendly service and the colorful ambience are also inviting. Greta’s is a big recommendation in Bremen!

Great, non-mainstream nice restaurant. We had the tortellini with porcini mushroom filling under a deliciously dressed, slightly fried, not "0 8 15" salad. SUPER DELICIOUS! Friendly team and relaxed atmosphere. We will 100% come back.

A very good alternative to boring and monotonous hotel food. We were staying in the hotel next door and found out about this small restaurant via Google. We were very positively surprised and really enjoyed the breakfast. The price-performance ratio is excellent, you can pay by card and the staff is super nice. The chairs were a bit “well” in terms of seating comfort (wooden chair). But there were a few requirements that could remedy this to some extent. Otherwise, the restaurant is a great recommendation.

We really enjoyed our lunch at Greta’s. The atmosphere is very pleasant and friendly, and we had the pleasure of having a table with a view of the river. The menu offers a wide choice of dishes, both traditional and more modern/original, with vegetarian and vegan options. There is something for everyone, and all diets can find something to suit them. We felt really good in this establishment and will return with great pleasure during our next visit to Bremen.

I love Greta's!!! The food is great and they really don't use ready-made sauces and they don't use refined sugar in anything!!! I love it :)

I recently visited this restaurant and really loved the vibe. It’s the kind of place where you want to sit for a long time, relax, and have a good conversation with friends. We went for lunch, but I was a bit disappointed that there were only three options on the menu—I would have appreciated more variety. I tried the pasta, and while it wasn’t anything special, the incredibly friendly staff made up for it. I’d definitely go back, but next time I’d just enjoy their drinks and soak in the cozy atmosphere of the café.

Small café with a beautiful view of the countryside. We were there Sunday morning. Reservations are recommended on weekends. Large generous portions. The scrambled eggs and bacon were very tasty and the salad was fresh.

Shrimp overcooked. Spaghetti squash is not spaghetti squash, but spaghetti with Hokkaido pumpkin. Little seasoned.

The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. You get large portions that are very well thought out in terms of taste. The avocado bagel with tomato chutney is particularly good. The people who work here are also very nice and you immediately feel at home. It's nice to sit outside by the water and the interior is also great.

The view, the location and the location are super nice (on the wall moat or in the countryside). Unfortunately, the food didn't convince us. It looked great but the taste couldn't keep up. The waffle had a rubbery consistency, was cold and unfortunately tasted neither fluffy nor fresh. Overall it was quite dry due to the salad and the waffle. The service was rather inattentive and everything took a long time, even though it wasn't particularly busy. Unfortunately, questions about drinks etc. could not be answered and the drink we ordered was no longer available. It can happen, but it would have been great if you didn't announce it until 15 minutes later. Maybe we just had a bad day there? We would come back again and maybe we would have better luck with a different dish.

Cibo molto buono. Servizio un po’ meno. Bella la location. Ottima scelta di cibo salutistico. Attenzione all’acqua: una bottiglia da 750 ml, frizzante, l’ho pagata 7,50€. Nel pomeriggio ho pagato uno spritz, nello Schnoor, allo stesso prezzo.

All in all a cute shop, dogs are welcome guests, a small, well-thought-out menu with an excellent breakfast that can be ordered around the clock, fantastic drinks and cakes/desserts.

Just PERFECT! That's what our breakfast was like on a hot Saturday morning: a carefully put together bowl surprised us with a trio of sweet potatoes, the coffee impressed with its strong taste and the homemade lemonade refreshed with its fine taste. We would always like to be so charming, kind and attentive and can be served anywhere. For us the best choice in Bremen!

We had breakfast at Greta's twice; we were more than satisfied with both the bagel and the funky breakfast and the bowls. The cappuccino was great. And all of this with very friendly service, what more could you want.

Lovely little restaurant/bistro just a short walk from the main station, situated off a quiet street overlooking a pretty park. There’s a great selection of freshly prepared healthy modern food on the menu, together with lunchtime specials that often include traditional German dishes. Wonderful breakfasts and cakes are served all day all at super, value for money prices. We‘ve eaten there plenty of times and haven’t once been disappointed.

Ordered: Salmon waffle Salmon adn avocado bagel Flat white Latte Waiting time is OK. The food was tasty(especially the coffee, which they serve with a little pice of fruit), but they confused the dish and brought an avocado and tomato chutney bagel, but it was good, so four stars instead of three.

As always a pleasure, the risotto was a dream! Now also tried breakfast, so yummi!

Super delicious food at reasonable prices. Our choices were the chicken bowl and the asian bowl, both of which were very deliciously composed. And don't kid yourself about the cakes, they are amazing. We had tiramisu layer cake and gluten-free chocolate cake. Friendly service and a beautiful cafe with green plants and many regulars. It is recommended to book a table well in advance.

I was at Greta's for the first time today. The good reviews promised a lot. The bench in the back was full of dog hair. And not just a few, but everything was full. We waited 1 hour for the drinks. 2 drinks came, the third drink was forgotten. We ate 2x country bread and 1x bagel. It was ok but nothing spectacular at all. We didn't even ask if everything was ok or if we wanted something to drink. Service = 0. The toilets were already dirty at 12:00 and there were no more paper towels. At the beginning there was some rap music playing that didn't even begin to fit into the location. All in all…. really not recommended. There are much better breakfast spots. Very disappointing. Unfortunately I'll be back in a few days because I'm invited to a birthday party. I hope it's better then...

Cozy restaurant with friendly staff. Dishes are of excellent quality. The menu is somewhat limited, we could choose from four or five main courses. If you're dining with children, don't expect a children's menu with fries and chicken nuggets, because they don't have that. But we think that's a good thing. We had a delicious meal.

Great mix of healthy bowls and classics with a creative twist. The young team is actually always in a good mood and in a good mood. And the ambience is a little green oasis, not just in the dining room ;-)
