We had a very relaxed and delicious lunch here. The waiter was very helpful with drink suggestions, and the food arrived quickly. The portions weren't particularly large, but it was delicious. The decor was also very atmospheric.

The service is super friendly and professional! The restaurant uses ingredients I wasn't familiar with, but I was completely impressed! I would definitely come back.

Nice ambiance, right outside, overlooking the city moat. Unfortunately, the chairs inside are rather uncomfortable... Very attentive service; the menu is also available online in English. The food is delicious and the portions are generous.

This breakfast has been the best in Germany so far. Everything is fresh and very natural; just one plate is like brunch. I would have liked the coffee outside. As large as it's small for such a generous breakfast. Very good.

Unfortunately, our visit to Greta's was a disappointment. The two of us had reserved a table for 10. Unfortunately, they forgot to take our order. No problem! After 30 minutes, we made ourselves known and ordered. Unfortunately, it took an hour and a half (!!!!) to get our order. Unfortunately, it was the wrong order, and we still didn't have our food. After two hours, we said our goodbyes and left the cafe hungry. The staff were super friendly, and the cafe is nicely decorated, but that really put a damper on my Sunday.

We had a wonderful meal here on our first evening in Bremen, the level was not surpassed on the other evenings. Small-scale and personal, with a limited number of seats on the edge of the park. The food was really delicious. And the service very friendly.

The restaurant's location is truly beautiful. Right on the lake, lush greenery surrounds the place, and the restaurant is located in the back of the building with a long glass front. This provides natural light. The interior is very unique and lovingly designed. The waiters are all very friendly. We were served a little late at first, but after politely asking, we were served immediately. The food was fantastic. Very tasty and excellent value for money. We had the three-way chutney for starters. It was delicious! The main courses were lovingly decorated and the flavors were perfectly balanced. Both the schnitzel and the sweet potato bowl were a dream. A slice of tiramisu cake was a must to finish off the meal. Our waitress was also attentive, friendly, and always on call if we had any requests. (I highly recommend the homemade orange-ginger lemonade!) Highly recommended!

Gretas is a place where you can feel good. The food was simply fantastic: I had the plain scrambled eggs and the bagel with shredded buffalo mozzarella – both very creatively prepared and tastefully on a whole new level. Fresh, healthy ingredients, simply combined perfectly! The crema coffee was served with a slice of orange and had a special aroma, truly delicious, just the way coffee should taste! The location is tastefully decorated, with lots of green plants, warm colors, and small, loving details everywhere. Soft music played in the background, mostly classics from the 80s – every now and then, the kitchen staff quietly hummed or sang along, which added even more charm to the place. The team was incredibly friendly and pleasantly relaxed. I'm really glad I discovered this place!

Went to Greta’s Café last week and had the Lotus Cheesecake – and wow, I was in heaven! So creamy, so delicious, just right up my alley. I swear, I'll come back to Bremen just because of this cheesecake. The atmosphere was also super relaxed, the café is really cozy and the team is super friendly. Feels like a little feel-good place in the middle of the city. Already one of my favorite cafés in Bremen!

Greta's is a small, sweet, great shop. We were there on Sunday shortly before closing time and had a delicious meal. So delicious that I got some for my train ride on Monday. The rhubarb/asparagus risotto was awesome. 😋😋😋 Thank you I swear I'll definitely come back.

The menu is a bit unusual and our children had a bit of difficulty finding something for themselves. Otherwise: Very tasty, very nice staff. Definitely recommended.

While we were passing through we were looking for a place not far from the train station. After five minutes of walking towards Domshof, Greta invited us into a friendly atmosphere. You sit with a clear view of the lush green of the ramparts, wonderful. There is no sign of the gelatinous station district! The really tasty and plentiful meal was served in no time and everyone was in a good mood. It was fun all around!

We love the location and the interior of this place, but the service was very bad. First, they totally forgot about us, then they brought only one of the orders and wrongly, and after a long time they brought another order. It was just two cups of coffee, and not the busiest time of the day.

Just great. The food is soooo delicious. We were there for breakfast and were very satisfied. The bagels and also the scrambled eggs are fantastic. Large portion, great salad, tasty ingredients. We'd love to come back. Since we were there for the opening at 10:00 in the morning, we got a table outside. Otherwise, you have little chance of getting a spot without a reservation.

A great location in a beautiful setting, great breakfast, definitely worth the price! The service was extremely friendly and accommodating. If you stay in Bremen again, a visit to Gretas is a must. We had reserved for a Saturday morning, which you should definitely do, all the tables were fully booked.

We discovered Greta's spontaneously and were absolutely thrilled. Everyone will find something here - whether grandma and grandpa with home cooking or the vegan heart with creative and modern bowls, waffles and smoothies. In terms of price, everything is extremely fair and the friendly service and the colorful ambience are also inviting. Greta’s is a big recommendation in Bremen!

A very good alternative to boring and monotonous hotel food. We were staying in the hotel next door and found out about this small restaurant via Google. We were very positively surprised and really enjoyed the breakfast. The price-performance ratio is excellent, you can pay by card and the staff is super nice. The chairs were a bit “well” in terms of seating comfort (wooden chair). But there were a few requirements that could remedy this to some extent. Otherwise, the restaurant is a great recommendation.

We really enjoyed our lunch at Greta’s. The atmosphere is very pleasant and friendly, and we had the pleasure of having a table with a view of the river. The menu offers a wide choice of dishes, both traditional and more modern/original, with vegetarian and vegan options. There is something for everyone, and all diets can find something to suit them. We felt really good in this establishment and will return with great pleasure during our next visit to Bremen.

I recently visited this restaurant and really loved the vibe. It’s the kind of place where you want to sit for a long time, relax, and have a good conversation with friends. We went for lunch, but I was a bit disappointed that there were only three options on the menu—I would have appreciated more variety. I tried the pasta, and while it wasn’t anything special, the incredibly friendly staff made up for it. I’d definitely go back, but next time I’d just enjoy their drinks and soak in the cozy atmosphere of the café.

Surprisingly good and tasty. Service was friendly. Coffee was rather so-so and the latte art should have been left behind. But still pleasantly surprised. Will definitely come back.
