The team, the ambiance – everything came together to create an evening I won't soon forget. If you're looking for good Italian food in Wiesbaden, add Little Italy to your must-eat list. Expensive place, waiters are conceited…

Simply world-class! The food was absolutely amazing, and I can't stop raving about it. The service and ambiance did the rest! Thank you for this sensational meal and the warm service.

Claudio is a fantastic host – warm, attentive, and with a keen sense for providing his guests with a truly memorable evening. The food is consistently of a high standard. The dishes are not only incredibly delicious, but also prepared with attention to detail. You can feel the quality of the ingredients and the passion of the chef in every bite. Here, classic Italian cuisine meets a sophisticated ambiance that, without being overdone, simply delights. Whether for a relaxed dinner with friends, an elegant dinner for two, or a special event – ​​Little Italy is always an excellent choice. It's always a highlight for me and a clear recommendation for anyone who wants to enjoy high-quality Italian cuisine in Wiesbaden.

We ate at Little Italy in Wiesbaden and were absolutely thrilled! We've never eaten so well; every dish was a delight of the highest quality. The ingredients tasted fresh, the dishes were prepared with love and perfectly balanced. The portions were just right and beautifully presented. The ambiance is cozy yet stylish, making you feel immediately at home. The service was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and warm, making you feel completely welcome. Nice ambiance but very cramped. You can hear everything your neighbors are saying. More of a bistro than a restaurant. The food is okay, but the value for money isn't right in my opinion. For example, the terramissu comes with canned fruit (presumably cheaper and saves cutting time). We were treated worse than regulars. The service is friendly but inattentive for this price range. You can try it, but you don't have to. Edit from 9/20/25: After the restaurant asked Google to delete my constructive review and Google blocked my review, I included a picture of my bank statement, which shows that I was a customer at Little Italy.

We were delighted, first of all, by the very friendly, unpretentious welcome. We received a recommendation for a meal and ordered it together. The octopus with pasta and a meat dish were delicious. A special thank you to Claudio and the entire team. We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back.

An absolute disaster. Four of us arrived there around 9 p.m. and were greeted upon entry with a coldness one normally only sees in government offices. We had barely taken our seats and were simply about to order drinks when the owner himself came over – not to welcome us, but to inform us in a rude tone that guests who don't eat are apparently unwelcome. To top it all off, we were accused of "trying to taste his tablecloths" – seriously? What is being sold here as gastronomy has absolutely nothing to do with hospitality. We have never felt so unwelcome and condescending in a restaurant. Anyone who values a pleasant evening should steer clear of this establishment.

All in all, a complete disaster and I come across as the bad person because I recommended the place to a few friends of mine. They sat down and only ordered drinks. Then a bald worker came out and said nothing at all: don't you want to eat? Since when is it compulsory to eat in restaurants? Drinks, yes, but eating? Outrageous. What made it all the worse was his comment about the tablecloths when someone said that this wasn't okay, that they didn't eat anything and the tablecloths cost him 2 euros. So the gentleman wanted to imply that the customers are worth less than the 2 euro tablecloths. If the tablecloths are that important to him, then he should call his shop "2 euro tablecloth" from now on. Myself and those around me will be boycotting this shop from today onwards, because there was another table that only had drinks but had blonde hair. It is discriminatory to treat black-haired people differently than European-looking people.

The food today was truly delicious, and the service was incredibly friendly and attentive. I felt completely at home and would definitely come back!

Little Italy is a true gem! From the moment you enter, you feel like you're in a small trattoria in Italy, with a cozy atmosphere, lovely decor, and very attentive service. The menu offers a wonderful selection of authentic Italian dishes, from homemade pasta to tender steaks cooked to perfection. I particularly want to emphasize the fresh ingredients and perfect preparation; you can taste the passion that goes into the cooking here. The desserts were also an absolute delight and rounded off the menu beautifully. The customer service is very good, open, and reliable. You always feel welcome and well looked after. A restaurant that we can highly recommend. We will definitely be back!

An incident occurred in this restaurant that, in my opinion, appears not only unprofessional but also discriminatory. Four guests wanted to order only dessert and small drinks (e.g., espresso) – as is quite common in an Italian restaurant. Instead of accepting this as a matter of course, they were told something like, "My tablecloth costs more than what you are consuming here." Such a statement is degrading to the guests and violates basic standards of hospitality and customer service. The unequal treatment is particularly striking: At the neighboring table were guests who also consumed no food, but only wine. They were served without restrictions and in the normal manner. The crucial difference was apparently that the first group consisted of men with a recognizably "southern" appearance, while the other group was presumably German. Such unequal treatment can create the impression of discriminatory practices, which is not only morally reprehensible but also legally problematic (Section 19 of the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG). Restaurants have a duty to treat their guests equally – regardless of origin, appearance, or the size of their order. Conclusion: This behavior is unacceptable for a restaurant. It violates both professionalism and the legal principles of equal treatment. I therefore strongly advise against visiting this restaurant.

Great Italian food! A must-visit!

Always a delight. Food, service, ambiance. I still have to check whether dogs are allowed.

Small, chic Italian restaurant, or rather a wine bar, since the wine and drinks list is much more extensive than the à la carte menu. Unfortunately, the prices aren't reasonable. Small pizzas (one size fits all) cost at least €18. Thick crust that tasted like stick bread and a bland topping. Drinks are also very expensive. The service, however, was excellent! All in all, I assume the prices are so high due to the proximity to Wilhelmstraße. However, the taste wasn't our cup of tea.

Little Italy lived up to its name and overall score. We had a salad as a starter (good mix, slightly oily dressing) that came with some bread (which was really fresh and tasty). The sea bass with parsley dressing, mashed potatoes and zucchini slices were all excellent. Portions good. White wine recommend by the house was full of taste and good match. 2nd glass wasn't cleaned thoroughly on the outside, but this is nitpicking. Pricing slightly above average (probably normal for 2025). Overall recommend.

What a fantastic experience! From the beginning to the last bite we were immersed in the pure flavours of Italy. As a starter we were given a delicious suggestion by the chef, together with a Salade di Mare – super fresh and perfectly seasoned, a nice balance between lemon, olive oil and seafood. A really fresh start. For the main course we chose the Pizza Tartufo and the Tagliatelle al Tartufo. Both dishes were delicious – the smell of truffle alone made our mouths water. The tagliatelle was homemade and perfectly al dente, the pizza had a thin crispy base and a rich, creamy truffle flavour. To finish we enjoyed a Tiramisu and a light, warm Sabayon. Both were sublime – a perfect sweet end to a special meal. The service was friendly, attentive and provided good explanations for each dish. The atmosphere was intimate and inviting, as if we had already ended up in Italy a little. And that's good, because our holiday to Italy is starting soon - and this dinner was the perfect kick-off. A definite recommendation for those who love authentic Italian dishes with a refined twist. We will definitely be back!

Little Italy is certainly on the high side in terms of price, but it also offers a very pleasant atmosphere. The menu is concise, but you'll find everything on it. The spaghetti vongole was well-made. The outdoor area is also quite pleasant.

Anyone who wants to experience Italian cuisine at its finest must go to "Little Italy." Every single dish was deliciously prepared and attractively presented on the plate. Kudos to the kitchen! We were a bit irritated, however, when paying the bill: the couples to the right and left of our table were served a free digestif upon payment. Despite the high bill, this kind gesture was overlooked.

Just been in the restaurant for 2 minutes. No waiter to be seen, no one there, not even a guest. It's a shame because everything seems very inviting and nice. I would never go there again because the service, especially from a young gentleman who was probably of Moroccan origin, was very unsympathetic and repeatedly disrespectful. That's really not possible and you should think about who you let work in such a reputable business. The food wasn't bad though.

For the third time in Little Italy in Wiesbaden and it was a pleasure again. I started with Vitello Tonnato, perfectly tender, followed by a beef tartare on artichokes with BURRATA cream, simply brilliant. The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. And the ambience, as always, is harmonious with Italian music in the background. The crowning glory: a chocolate soufflé that rose perfectly and was simply heavenly. It's clear: Little Italy is more than a restaurant, it's a little piece of Italy that you'll love to return to again and again.

Das Restaurant wirkt schon beim betreten hochklassig. Dieser erste Eindruck, wird durch die aufmerksamen und zuvorkommenden Bedienungen gefestigt. Es gibt eine ausgedruckte Karte, jedoch sind die wahren Spezialitäten auf einer Standkarte mit Kreide niedergeschrieben. Ein Geheimtipp: die Kellner geben auch noch eine Empfehlung ab, was es abseits der Karte noch gibt; unbedingt nehmen! Überhaupt glänzen die, alle italienisch sprechenden, Kellner durch eine sehr serviceorientierte Einstellung und stehe gerne mit Rat und Tat zur Seite.

Very tasty and, apart from the fact that it took a long time before we were “allowed” to pay, the service was also very good and fast.

We were out with friends in Wiesbaden and were pretty hungry. The food was standard, so nothing special in terms of taste, but the portions were a real cheek; none of us were even close to full. Charging over 18 euros for pasta aglio e olio is questionable, but a tiny portion size—80% of the plate, the rest was some spaghetti. Sorry, that's not acceptable; for us, it felt like a huge starter.

Really a great Italian restaurant! I started with bruschetta which was super fresh and delicious. Afterwards there was penne, which was really well prepared, nice and al dente and with a great sauce. The service was really nice and the atmosphere was also super cozy. Definitely come back!

Very chic restaurant with stunning food

We were strangers in Wiesbaden and hungry after attending a concert at the Kurhaus. So we entered the first restaurant that caught our eye. A pizzeria? Unfortunately all seats are occupied! A friendly gentleman clearly regretted this and asked us to take a table in the covered outdoor area, where it was pleasantly warm due to the numerous heating options. We accepted the offer and we don't regret it at all! What followed was very nice and friendly service, an extremely interesting menu that we were not used to from other “pizzerias”. Simply great treats! The food was excellent and the prices were also reasonable. It's a shame that the restaurant's name has become Americanized, it should appropriately call itself "Piccola Italia", with these Italian delicacies that would be quite appropriate! I was in this restaurant for the second time today. After the truffle pasta was extremely tasty on the first visit, the opposite was true today. For almost 30 euros I expect top-class pasta, today the tagliatelle was in the parmesan basket with no sauce or oil. Four small truffle strips were placed on top. Everything was extremely tasteless. Now I asked for parmesan, which I didn't get at first. The waiter was probably distracted because an entire table wanted to get up and leave in the middle of their meal. On the second attempt I got the parmesan. I should have complained right at the beginning, so payment was a given for me. My husband's sea bass was good, just had almost zero accompaniments. It's a shame, the truffle pasta was great on the first visit.

Die Auswahl an Speisen ist übersichtlich - aber völlig ausreichend. geschmacklich war es aber nicht wirklich überzeugend - da gibt es bessere Italiener in Wiesbaden und Umgebung. Nach dem Essen wurde dann leider auch kein Dessert oder Kaffee angeboten - was in einem Restaurant dieser Kategorie dazu gehören sollte.

We were there in a larger group and had different main courses. It was all “ookkkayy”. Unfortunately for me the price-performance ratio is not right. I can eat better for the price I end up paying. The dry salmon...plus pieces of vegetables prepared in tomato sauce (with capers? & olives). Unfortunately, there was no information on the menu about the ingredients of the side dishes - that could have been difficult for people who don't like olives... I like them and thought it was just so-so. Unfortunately the staff was very distracted. But the men are rather quick and funny. Unfortunately the waitress was annoyed and unmotivated. We probably won't go there again, but we can still recommend the location because of the location. Nicely and comfortably furnished. Nice atmosphere. Good zabaglione. As I said… if the invoice amount is different, no problem, but with high class prices I just expect high class service.

We ate here this evening as an early walk in. The food and service were amazing. It was our first time to the restaurant. The waiter explained the menu and specials board after asking if it was a first visit there. Thanks us for coming and offered recommendations. The food was so delicious. Great portions, great price and a very comfortable and welcoming environment. We did sit inside, in the center of the restaurant. Without a reservation on a Sunday night during the Christmas market, we did have a time limit to sit at the table bc there were later reservations. It was no problem to eat during the time and we did not feel rushed. We enjoyed the Ossobuco little Italy style, the pasta with truffles and shrimp inside it's own edible cheese wheel and some mozzarella and tomato salad. The complimentary bread wth salt oil and tapanade (of sorts) was equally as delicious and a welcome starter addition. Highly recommend dining here while on a visit to the area.

Zu viele Tische auf engen Raum.Man hat das Gefühl man sitzt beim Nachbar mit am Tisch..Servicekräfte drücken sich zwischen Stühle durch.Hoher Geräuschpegel. Wenn man es gemütlich und ruhig mag ist dieses Restaurant keine gute Wahl. Essen war ok aber Preisleistung stimmt nicht.

Absolutamente increíble comida - cada plato que tuvimos fue fantástico con ingredientes frescos de calidad. Hermoso tartar de atún, salmón perfectamente cocido, calamares tiernos y nunca había visto tantas trufas afeitadas en pasta. Todos estábamos bebiendo cosas diferentes. Los vinos por copa eran de muy buena calidad y no caros. Servicio genial también, incluyendo la clasificación de algunos requisitos dietéticos. Went there for lunch yesterday. Very good, friendly and unobtrusive service. The food was excellent, vitello tonnato and strozzapreti with tomato sauce and balls of salsiccia with fennel. The other dishes on our table (veal liver, fish soup, spaghetti with lobster sauce and Gamberoni) were also delicious. The portions were very generous. The price level is high but reasonable.

Very nice atmosphere in the restaurant and in the winter garden/on the terrace. The pasta was very tasty and authentically Italian. Service was a bit unfriendly at first when choosing a table, but then good.

I have often eaten at Little Italy. Very tasty Italian cuisine, friendly, professional service and a central, good location in Wiesbaden, near the Kurhaus and Wilhelmstrasse. In the summer you can sit outside very well, but then the posers who like to rev their engines on Burgstrasse are a bit annoying. Be sure to reserve in advance.

We made a reservation for 7 people, got to the restaurant and there was a paper sign on the door stating it was closed-so, we were stranded without a place to eat in an unfamiliar city.

Small, fine restaurant in the middle of Wiesbaden. Priced higher. There was little food on the plate. Ambience right on the street, well. In the restaurant there more. Service was okay. But I have to admit there are better ones.

Definitely a sensible Italian with great service. The food was good but ultimately just too expensive for what you get. Just under €10 for a tartufo dessert that was purchased is simply too much of a good thing. The truffle pasta was good but could use a pinch of salt.

April 13, 2022 for lunch, delicious starter plate with vitello tonnato and bruschetta. Main course spaghetti with prawns. Highly recommended. Friendly staff. If paying with cash, it would be more pleasant for the guest not to put the money on the table, but in a bowl. New 8/16/24 it is a wine market in Wbn. and there is also all kinds of food there. But the rooms here are air-conditioned and certainly more hygienic. My tagliatelle with chanterelles and bacon was like cafeteria food. The pasta wasn't like a good Italian restaurant. The chanterelles from the jar or can, fluttered. Although it is chanterelle season. The other dish with pasta and salsiccia sausage and tomato sauce was also not tasty. So no reason for us to go again.
