Super friendly staff, no question. Baklava at a fair price. Lahmacun is offered while waiting, which is super nice. The place was recommended to me, so I wanted to try it, but it was the worst kebab I've ever had. The meat was thick and not cooked at all. 80% was salad, and the rest was really bad meat. I had to throw up in the middle of the night. I really wondered if it was really veal, because it looked pink after I threw up.

I've been eating there since 2008, but not as regularly as I used to. They've grown a lot, but since then, they've also declined considerably. The portions have gotten much smaller, and the doner kebabs have gotten more expensive. Of course, prices have changed over the years, but you should still consider the less fortunate. Two or three employees behind the counter were often rude and arrogant towards me and often talked down to me when I ordered there. Otherwise, a solid doner kebab.

Completely overrated. People line up on weekends hoping to find something special here – honestly, nothing! From the chaotic seating arrangements to the food – simply disappointing. Guests who arrived after us sat down at an empty table while we were still waiting. When we asked, we were told we had to order first. When we pointed out that the other guests had been seated without ordering, they claimed, "They've already ordered" – spoiler: they hadn't. The kebab itself was dry, the sauce only really noticeable at the very end. The only thing that could perhaps be rated positively was the ayran. And even that was only with reservations. Since this review is completely honest and unbiased, I'm not advertising any other restaurants here. But believe me: There are fantastic restaurants in the Lister Meile with truly delicious kebabs – just not here!

I've become a new person—spiritually awakened by this divine kebab! My family, my friends, even my dog ​​are jealous of this transcendental taste experience!

Unfortunately, I live far away and haven't been there yet. However, I can wholeheartedly describe the chef as one of the most personable restaurateurs. He likes to share his experiences with other colleagues, which is something you don't often get to do.

Good quality doener kebabs. They offer you free Turkish tea at the end. Not a very expensive gesture for them, but a nice touch that is much appreciated.

The food was top-notch and not overly extensive. There was even a kebab plate for kids. The staff were super friendly and not overly stressed, even though it was very busy. However, the decor wasn't that great, and it wasn't particularly cozy.

Unfortunately there are only 5 stars, otherwise I would give 10, it was my first time there, everything was TOP, it's a shame that I live so far away (Osnabrück), otherwise I would come more often, maybe that's better for my figure 😄

Where kebabs become an experience. Sunday, 5:30 p.m. We're still hungry and someone recommends the Lister Döner. No sooner said than done. The surprise: a 30-meter line. Good sign? A quick question to the people recommending them. They say, get in line, it's worth it. And indeed. It's superbly organized and moves along quickly. A friendly greeting as we're first in line. From here, things happen quickly. We're seated within two minutes. With kebabs and drinks. The kebabs? Amazing!!! Juicy, fresh salad mix, with a slightly oriental touch. And it tastes outstanding. The prices: absolutely reasonable!!! We'll definitely be back!

The food was good, as always; you can't complain. The regular doner kebab costs 7 euros here, which is what I got and was supposed to pay. I didn't get an extra portion of meat or anything like that. It was a doner kebab with meat, red and white cabbage, and no sauce. The cashier raised the price from the original 7 euros to 8.50 without giving a reason. As a long-time customer, all I can say is, it's a blatant rip-off and watch your bill!

It's not a given that you get a free tea with a kebab and a drink. The kebab itself is excellent; it's a quality product and stands out from the crowd. What impressed me most was the staff and the service. You feel as if you're actually sitting in a restaurant. The friendly and highly dedicated waiter summed up the very pleasant experience with the words, "Every guest is treated as if they were at our/my home (hospitality)."

I was there last night and ate the best kebab of my life😍... I had to wait in line for 20 minutes, but I can only say it was worth it. The chicken was sliced ​​super thin and juicy, and the sauces were amazing. The lime🍋‍🟩 juice at the end gives it a refreshing kick. I already knew the place from the NDR documentary and noticed how friendly everyone there is! I'll be coming more often now; you guys are really good at what you do🔥!

Simply great! For me, the Lister kebab is the best in all of Hanover. The meat is super juicy, the ingredients are fresh and the homemade bread is a real highlight. The service is always friendly and well organized - despite the many customers, the transaction runs quickly and smoothly. What's particularly cool is that there is often free tea while you wait. Absolutely recommended!

By far the best kebab I've ever eaten. From the super friendly service and also the pleasant music, everything was super good! Always happy again!

One of the best kebabs you can eat! The meat is great, whether it's veal, chicken or steak! The vegetables are always crisp and fresh and the additional citrus and fruit notes give a really good kick! The homemade ayran and the baklava are delicious extras. The team is absolutely awesome! I was recommended this great kebab shop on the plane, great tip. The queue was worth it, super tasty big kebab bag with a choice between chicken, veal or, for €1 more, I took steak meat. The plate was brought to my seat. In between I was also asked if everything was ok and if I would like an additional drink. They make the delicious Ayran themselves. A must next time in Hanover.

By far the best kebab in Hanover. The meat is always juicy, tender and crispy. The sauces are great. The homemade bread is crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside and stays in the background so that the quality and taste of the meat comes into its own. The Lister kebab... Always known and in the TikTok hype, but what's happening behind the scenes isn't that great. It's just called a hype kebab shop but there's nothing special about it, it looks good but tastes like any other kebab, the selection is very creative but nobody wants a pomegranate in a kebab. I wanted my salad without pomegranate. Otherwise just put all the money into the ambience, but not into better kebabs. Treat yourself to more meat, now that the CDU is back in power, everything is being reduced. We don't live in Turkey where a kebab costs billions.

The Ayran was really fresh and tasty, the kebab was great - the meat in particular was of very good quality and tasted great. The side dishes were fresh and looked appetizing. Only the homemade kebab bread wasn't quite to my taste. It was a bit crumbly on the outside and hard but soft on the inside. The store is rather small inside with only a few seats, but there is more space outside. The service was very friendly. All in all, definitely recommended!

Bought a lahmacun today...to take away. Only noticed when he got home that he was cold. Wasn't baked or warmed up. Completely overpriced, a kebab roll now costs €10. The store is getting worse and worse and will probably go bankrupt soon...the quality is just too bad.

Don't check the hype. Honest. The veal has hardly any taste, hardly any seasoning. The bread was absolutely horrible. Not even remotely crunchy, just soft, smelled strange. Apart from the tasteless meat, I hardly had any meat in the kebab. For me it has nothing to do with a classic kebab.

I asked for a Dürüm roll for myself and student kebab for my daughter who was sick at home. The employee refused to offer me the student kebab because my daughter wasn't there. I told you about it once before, when my daughter wasn't there. The employee said that was probably an exception, as if he had an answer for everything. Das einzig wirklich Positive was ich hervorheben kann ist, dass die Preisgestaltung nicht an den Hype angepasst worden ist und sich die Preise im normalen Bereich bewegen. Ansonsten waren unsere Döner-Taschen wirklich nichts Besonderes: Brot nicht knusprig, Fleischanteil eher gering, Salat-/Gemüseanteil eher hoch, Soßen kaum zu schmecken; alles in allem ein eher unterdurchschnittlicher, lauwarmer Döner. Da habe ich bei weniger namhaften Döner-Restaurants in der Region Hannover schon sehr viel bessere, schmackhaftere Döner-Taschen gegessen, für die ich nicht lange anstehen musste und bei denen eine weitaus entspanntere Atmosphäre herrscht und nicht laufend lautstark zwischen den Angestellten kommuniziert wird. Zusammengefasst: es war ok, wir sind satt geworden und können jetzt mitreden 😉. Ein weiteres Mal wird es für uns aber nicht geben.

Very little meat (chicken) which is hardly seasoned. The curry sauce was yellow, but you couldn't taste the curry at all. The salad was great. It seemed very fresh and crisp. Conclusion: There are significantly better kebab shops in Hanover.

Best Döner in Hannover! Absolutely worth the hype — and the queue! We stopped here on our way back to the Netherlands, and it was hands down one of the best food decisions of our trip. It’s conveniently close to the highway and so much better than fast food like McDonald’s. Despite the long line, it moved quickly, and they even served us tea (oralet) while we waited such a nice touch! The döner was incredibly tasty, the service was top-notch, and the hospitality was genuinely heartwarming. Highly recommend this place. Can’t wait to come back again. 10/10 for food, service, and atmosphere!

Das Personal ist grundsätzlich sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Das Dönerfleisch leider höchstens lauwarm, und nicht heiß. Die Pommes auch nur lauwarm und matschig, nicht knusprig. Alles in allem nur durchschnittlich, und nicht den Hype wert, der hier gemacht wird, schade.
