I came especially from Cologne! It convinced me in every respect! Bread was very tasty and the combination of meat and vegetables in the kebab was just perfect!

Greatest kebab in Hanover! While you can get cheap crap for €8 elsewhere, here you can get good minced meat skewers or even lamb if you want. The service is friendly and sometimes you even get baklava and tea on the house. All in all, the best kebab in Hanover in my opinion! PS.: Unfortunately I had a bad experience for the first time yesterday with the chicken kebab and the staff. Yesterday at 12 p.m. he seemed very annoyed, curt and unmotivated. Then no Dürum… little sauce, the meat well seasoned but then I bite on the bones. A fat piece that would have easily become life-threatening if I hadn't bitten on it... then I gave it to the staff… no reaction… nothing, the bone was quickly taken away and that was it. I would be left out. Then I set off. My first bad experience with this kebab.:/ What a shame. Hence a star deduction.

Late in the evening I had dinner for two at Lister Döner. The food comes to the table very quickly. The staff is highly motivated and very friendly. You immediately feel welcome. We got tea and lentil soup on the house. Very unique. The kebab I ate was one of the best I've eaten in my life, and I've eaten many. Everything was fresh and correct, as ordered. The bread was homemade and fresh. Overall a very good kebab. Many thanks to the Lister Döner team for this great visit.

Very unhygienic! On the one hand, reach into the bread with your bare hand and on the other hand, accept cash with the same hand and play the same game all over again... DISGUSTING! In addition, an employee cut off the tips of his plastic gloves...why?

The atmosphere and the mechanical handling with waiting positions is definitely not for everyone, it wasn't mine. The food was a mixture of positive surprise and disappointment: the kebab meat was okay, the bulgur was overcooked and not tasty, but the salad was very good and the ayran was good. I won't go back and best kebab in town is definitely overkill.

I was in Hannover for work from London for a few days and I googled lister doner the reviews looked great so I thought that I would give it a go. Oh my god am I glad that I did! What a place, firstly at 6pm it’s crazy busy with a queue but don’t worry it does move pretty quickly. This kebab changed my life it was amazing! I don’t know why we don’t have kebabs like these in the uk. The hospitality they showed me was incredible from the guy at the front of house to talking to the guys making the kebab, they were interested in where I was from and also offered me a complimentary Turkish tea, which was very nice of them. I would highly recommend this place 10/10.

Don't understand this hype. This was the second time I've been there, the food doesn't taste good, the kebab skewer is inferior mince, which gives me the feeling of the smell of pork but I can't identify it. The bread is wobbly with sauce saved even the second time you ask and 2 ml more sauce is put on it and at this price. The meat is oily, the paper with the food in it is simply greasy like nowhere else. There are two good kebab stalls in Hanover that are ten times better and they don't make any shows this way and this loud noise is annoying. It's a kebab shop, not a disco.

An absolute must have in Hanover! The kebab tastes really great and there is a large selection of different sauces. The kebab tastes fruitier than a conventional kebab. But what is most impressive is the service - you are served really nicely and everyone is very attentive!

Ambiance and service are first class! Thank you for that. Here you are served systematically. The queue is long, but you are greeted very friendly and you get to try a piece of Cigara Börek! There are three skewers and I chose the kebab skewer. Unfortunately the meat wasn't that crispy and was still quite light. But it's very difficult to keep up with the rush. The taste of the skewer reminded me of meatloaf (also delicious, but just not enough meat).

I came to Hanover from Berlin and was at the Lister Döner and can definitely recommend it! The shop is small but cozy. The service was incredibly nice and quick, and you can tell that a lot of emphasis is placed on freshness and quality. The kebab was simply outstanding, the meat was tender and deliciously seasoned, and the portion was perfect. I particularly liked the selection of fresh ingredients; there were pomegranate seeds in the salad, which I really enjoyed. The bread was fresh and soft, just as it should be. There could be a little more choice of sauces, like in Berlin 😄 Garlic sauce? 😃 Of course that's a matter of taste. The prices are completely fair, especially for the quality of the kebab. A great kebab shop that I would like to visit again.

I went to Lister Döner today. I had already read and heard a lot of positive things about it. So far, the often long queues have held me back. This Wednesday evening I spontaneously stopped by again. And there were only three people waiting in front of me. As I immediately noticed, the team is very friendly and extremely organized. It didn't take long and my order, a kebab bag, was already taken. The short waiting time was sweetened with a spontaneously served, very tasty apple tea. I took lamb and all the salads and sauces offered. When paying I decided on a bottle of Ayran. I had already enjoyed this delicious homemade drink as part of the “Eat the World Tour”. 😋 I was by no means disappointed with the taste of the kebab pocket. I really liked the homemade bread, including the selected ingredients. I had chosen my meal including a drink for take away. Consumption is also possible on site. And with the temperatures now cooler, the team is heating up with radiant heaters. I didn't eat the kebab bag at home, but in the car. When I finished, I realized I had left the bottle. I went back again, made my request, and was immediately given a bottle of Ayran. All in all, I can highly recommend the Lister Döner. And a sometimes long queue shouldn't stop you from waiting to enjoy a very tasty kebab. 👍🏼

We ordered takeaway and absolutely loved it! The food was super tasty and a large quantity. We ordered a falafel roll and a falafel bowl. We also received baklavar as a gift from the friendly staff :) We always enjoy going there, even if you may have to wait in line for a while. It's always worth it and is one of the best kebabs!

How cool is the store?! We saw a report about the store on NDR and it was clear to us that when we were in Hanover, we were on our way to Turkey. we have to stop at Lower Saxony's best kebab shop. What can I say - everything fits just like it does on TV and I've never eaten such a delicious kebab plate in my life. It was the little details like pomegranate and sunflower seeds on the kebab plate and the tea that was given to you to bridge the waiting time. Speaking of waiting time, very long queue, but everything was so well organized that you didn't have to wait long. The Listener Döner is not just a kebab snack bar, here you can experience ambience and Turkish hospitality. We are simply thrilled and when we are back in Hanover, we will definitely come again. Anyone who has drunk Ayran from the supermarket and says I don't like it, like me, should go to Listner Döner. Then he gets Ayran as it should be. The Ayran is homemade, is in a large bowl with a stirrer and was so creamy and foamy - absolutely delicious.

I really enjoy eating here, always tasty and delicious. Unfortunately, when you order you don't know whether you'll get a seat inside. There are seats and heaters outside but the food gets cold very quickly in the wind. In my opinion, kebab pockets have become smaller now, but you can buy a dense kebab for 9 euros.

The wait in line was worth it, there was free Turkish tea to shorten the wait. It's a great kebab and all the staff are friendly, you feel welcome and don't just want to eat and leave and not only is the kebab in a class of its own, the baklava is simply fantastic, a clear recommendation from me.

It was so delicious and the service was sensational. No wonder the store is running like this. Fast, delicious, fresh and the staff was super attentive. We ate better here than in some restaurants that charge double the prices.

If you like kebab with drops of sweat, this is the right place for you. In addition, the sales area is far too small to sell so many kebabs at the same time. The thousands of employees who, confusingly, all want to take care of your kebab don't help either. Here even the confusion is confused. Waiting in line for half an hour for zero 8/15 kebab, wow. But you have to give one thing to the shop, it really has the freshest and one of the best homemade kebab bread in the whole of H There is a big minus for the employees there who fill the salad into the kebab by hand instead of hygienically using tongs. I've now gotten a kebab plate twice and a falafel plate to take away. I was lucky, I came around 10 p.m. each time and only had to wait maybe 5 minutes, at other times of the day the line goes back to Podbielskistrasse, so the waiting time then definitely at least 20 minutes. The service is well organized: you order directly and wait in three different waiting boxes with a view of the counter so that you can specifically say whether you don't want certain salads, certain meat or fries or rice. Payment is made in cash, card payments only from €50. The service team is in a really good mood and extremely friendly. You can also eat there: there are a few covered tables and chairs with a view of Lister Platz. The salads are special because they are sometimes refined with pomegranate seeds, pineapple pieces and rocket. The lamb was a bit fatty last time, chicken is probably less fatty. The falafel were really crunchy and had a good taste. To take away with the plates, there are savory pieces of bread and four different sauces packaged individually in plastic cups, all of which are wrapped in aluminum foil - on the other hand, the bag is a paper bag that I always took with me to reuse. A particularly delicious kebab experience in Hanover! Extremely happy again!!!

The service here is really top, something I only know from high-priced restaurants! The ambience is good even outside in winter thanks to the patio heaters, everything is constantly kept clean, despite the large number of customers! In terms of taste, the kebab is number 1 in Germany, what I love most are the changing special ingredients, I think I've experienced everything here from pomegranate seeds to strawberries & it always goes really well! I come from Munich, so unfortunately I can only enjoy this fantastic restaurant a few times a year, but I look forward to it every time!

I've been a regular customer at Lister Döner for a long time, but unfortunately the quality has declined significantly recently. The meat is often undercooked, which is simply unacceptable. I also find it unpleasant that I get comments from the staff every time I order my kebab with hummus. Why do I constantly have to justify how I like to eat my kebab? That's my decision, and comments like that get annoying in the long run. It would be nice if the service here was friendlier and more respectful.

Dönerbox 8€: fresh and hot and not so salty which is good average price in Hannover I would say. (inflation😮‍💨) Dönerbox no veggies so a little bit oily. But of course you can order Donerteller if you want veggie too. Service is actually very good. I was offered hot tea and cold water after eating 😳 Saturday is really busy here. Maybe I will come again in weekdays!

I'm an occasional guest, but now I always eat at Lister Döner when I'm in Hanover. For me the best kebab of the overall package.

Update: Unfortunately I have to say that for me the kebab no longer has the great taste it did 3 years ago. The price is very high, the amount of meat in the kebab has decreased, the taste is no longer great, but there is chaos when ordering like before. I definitely no longer recommend the store. Too bad. The meat and the quality is very, very good. The kebab and the ingredients taste very tasty. But charging 1.50 for Ayran is too expensive. In my area I pay 1 euro. I also don't understand why you should pay 50 cents more for mixed meat, even though the prices for veal and lamb are the same if you order them individually (4 euros each). Because in terms of quantity, even with mixed meat, no more meat is put into the kebab than if you order lamb or veal individually. I also think that only some of the employees are nice. Overall, one of the best kebab shops I've seen here in Hanover. Update: ok, I didn't know that lamb meat costs 1 euro more. Now I understand the story about 50 cents more for mixed meat. That's why I give one more star. 🌟 Update: Unfortunately I have to deduct another star, even though I'm a regular customer here. Unfortunately, the kebab is extremely overhyped. The kebab is absolutely standard and completely incomprehensible why it is called “Best kebab in Hanover” or “Top 10 kebab from Germany”. There are much better alternatives in Hanover than this place.

Encouraged by so many opinions, I came to try it. Queue 30 min. Ordered a roll with chicken and vegetables. Strange vegetables, mixed with parsley, which is a minus for me. The bun was hard... the vegetables took up 2/3 of the kebab, so to get to the meat, which was a deplorable amount, you had to eat all the salads first... Seeing 4.5 stars and so many opinions, I expected a great kebab, but what I got was a very average kebab. A big plus was the service and snacks handed out while standing in line.

We really enjoyed the kebab, although it was a bit greasy, it was still very tasty. The service was courteous. The only thing that was a little new for us was that we had to pre-order from an employee and then enter the store to select the ingredients. Overall, everything was to our satisfaction and we would be happy to come back when the opportunity arises. With one of the best kebabs we have eaten 😋Price perfectly ok 👌🏻

I don't understand the hype about the store. I bought a kebab roll there a few years ago, but I wasn't that enthusiastic back then. A few days ago I dared again and ate another kebab roll. Like the first time, I wasn't impressed with the meat. The meat was cut too thick for me, it wasn't cooked properly, it was gristly and very fatty. The salad and the roll were okay. The waitress didn't really listen to the order because it had to be done quickly.

It was our first time here and we took our food with us due to time constraints. Next time we'll eat there. Food was incredibly tasty and plentiful. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back.
