The food was ok. The choice is very limited, with only 2 dishes to choose from.

The best coffee in town and the chocolate pastries are heavenly.

A nice place to hang out with friends. Delicious tapas and friendly service – highly recommended for a midweek dinner. Only beer benches outside, but the interior is very quaintly decorated.

The dishes were quite good except for the dessert: a cheap Spanish supermarket flan that we rejected.

As a Portuguese visiting Berlin, I chose to go to Lisboa Bar am Boxi because I need to feel something familiar, like home. And it did. The food is authentic and delicious, full of the flavors I grew up with, and the warm, welcoming staff made the experience even better. A true representation of Portugal on plate, right in the heart of Berlin.

I don’t get all the rants and raves here. I didn’t find this place that engaging. Ambiance great, Location great, freshness not up to par, pricing agreeable but overall. Felt a but meh after trying twice. I suppose for F’hain it’s okay

The Lisboa Bar has been my absolute favorite place here in Berlin for many years. Everything is just perfect here: The food – super delicious! (I recommend the aioli – truly the best I've ever had, homemade, and you can taste it – the squid, and especially the octopus salad. But everything else is simply delicious too and definitely recommended.) The service is always super friendly and attentive. And the atmosphere, whether inside or outside, makes you feel like you're on a short vacation. The Lisboa Bar is a family business. Run with love – and you can see, feel, and taste it. How wonderful that something like this still exists in Friedrichshain.

Food like in Portugal (caldo verde,bacalhau a lagareiro, lulas em alho,camarões em alho, chouriça assada, bolinhos de bacalhau, rissões de camarão e carne). A restaurant that satisfies Portuguese homesickness with an excellent selection of wines and heartwarming food. We were a group of five and ate octopus à lagareiro, cod à lagareiro, sautéed squid in garlic with boiled potatoes and salad, and the eight tapas of the week were delicious. The prices are a bit high, but it's worth it because the food is quality and freshly prepared. Until next time, thank you for a great evening. Today was another day of enjoying caldo verde at the Lisboa Bar, accompanied by some codfish balls and a glass of red wine. The service was also very friendly and attentive. Thank you. Another visit to Berlin, and I can't miss this restaurant. Once again, thank you very much for the good food and wine. See you next time.

Portuguese flair in the heart of the neighborhood at Boxi. The special tapas with shrimp tossed in garlic oil, sautéed squid, and octopus salad with onions were a delight. The fried anchovies were tender and crispy. The whole experience was rounded off with Portuguese coffee and pasteis de nata with and without chocolate. The taste was outstanding, it tickled the palate. 🥰 It's better to make a reservation in the evening; we were very lucky to find a table outside.

When I arrived, there were no seats left, but that wasn't a problem! The host was super friendly and was able to predict whether a spot would open up soon. The wine and food are fabulous, and the atmosphere is like being in Portugal! I'll definitely be back 😊

Food is tasty. Vibe is good. Over priced.

The food was good, a bit too spicy and a bit lacking in Prii Piri. It felt like in Lisbon, with a bit too many staff. Guests have to get up to pay, and card payments are only possible for amounts over €30, which unfortunately isn't possible anymore. A shame.

The food is not only bizarrely expensive, but also nothing special. As a Portuguese, I felt the taste didn't justify the price. However, the pastéis de nata are ideal for nostalgics. The only real complaint is the lack of professionalism and friendliness of the elderly lady who sometimes works there. Twice already, she has prevented me from entering the restaurant by standing in front of the door and refusing to leave. She is clearly unwelcoming and always gives me unfriendly looks.

A great Portuguese restaurant on Boxhagener Platz. They always serve delicious and varied Portuguese cuisine. It's a bit cramped, but always pleasant and cozy. Reservations are highly recommended, as it fills up quickly. However, we were always able to get a table for two, even at short notice. The service is also super friendly.

The 1/2 sausage tapas was sooo greasy and fatty. Potatoes were also boring and tasted old (not fresh). And the meatballs were just basic, the food didn’t taste fresh, sadly to say. However the wines are fantastic if you just wanna have a drink and eat some bread 🥖 One lady was nice and friendly but the other lady was totally unfriendly and disengaged she did not want to work that day lol

Delicious tapas and friendly service. However, there's a big dislike for the fact that a flat €10 charge is added to the bill if you pay with a company bank card, even though the payment system used, flatpay, charges 1.29% of the transaction value regardless of the card type. An absolute no-go and simply brazen.

Don’t bother asking for alioli, as they serve mayo with garlic. The whole meal was disappointing, but good service and atmosphere.

We had a very nice evening in a large group with Linda and Fernando. We trusted Fernando when ordering and got a great selection of dishes. Culinary really very good!

I really didn't find the food as praiseworthy as most of the reviews here show. More of a poorly imitated style of Spanish tapas, warmed nicely in the microwave. If you know how great you can eat in Portugal, or even in Spain, you definitely won't find it here. German palates are content with very little, in my case with half raw chicken and red sauce from the Asian restaurant and limp potatoes that are supposed to be a kind of patatas with alioli. Too bad!

Very cozy bar with typical local furnishings. The food was prepared to my liking and was really tasty. The orders came in a reasonable time, even though there was no free space and the vacant seats didn't have time to cool down. It was cozy and the time passed too quickly until we had to put the chairs up. Keep it up, both the chef and the service. Thanks

I've been there several times now. always just before Christmas. Greetings from the badminton boys/girls. The food is top. There is no doubt about that. Service is also very good. The people are nice and, if time permits, they are willing to chat. Ambiance is nice. Because it is quite small, it is also very tight because it is often very crowded. But that doesn't bother us. As long as the store is open, I will go back and recommend it. We've eaten almost everything and have always loved it. Go and test it yourself.

- A spontaneous visit at 17:30 on a Sunday night. Not full, and the atmosphere was relaxing and easy to talk with others. - The food is decent but some dishes are quite pricy for the amount they contain. - Read some reviews about the rudeness of the service. In our case, the guy at the bar, which was the first person we encountered when wntering, was uninterested both when we enterred and wanted to pay at the end. But the young waitress who took the actual order was polite and friendly. Nothing too negative happened that day. - if you're nearby, i'd recommend giving it a try.

the 30euro minimum for card payments is insane and fully not proportional to what is custom in other establishments. if the fees are too high, get a better provider... the to-go packaging is laughable

Staff is actually mean. You can not feel uncomfortable here. The women whe serve was so unfriendly. During my 20 min stay there I was witnessing few situations of very mean behaviour to the other clients and me. Even though I liked pastel des nata very much I will never go there anymore because of their behaviour.

Nice food, fresh produce. For me the pastéis de bacalhau wore more potatoes than bacalhau, but were still nice. Laid back atmosphere which was great.the sangria was very refreshing and not packed with sugar. Will come back. Muito obrigada 🇵🇹

Had to wait about 40 minutes between the first person getting their food and the last. They had probably forgotten the order. When the food did arrive it was mediocre. Not worth the expensive cost at all. There are very good other restaurants in the area at a better price.

Absolutely great. Always friendly, nice. Like coming home. Excellent wine selection, delicious Super Bock on tap. The food is delicious. The Pastel de Nata is fantastic and homemade. Can only recommend. A trip to Portugal in the middle of Berlin.

Absolutely unfriendly staff if you're not a guest and we never will be after this encounter! We were denied the opportunity to use the toilet with the words "Go where you ate!" (We sat next door and ate a shawarma - which is more like a snack and can't be compared to this location.) INCREDIBLE! Firstly, it could have been said more kindly and secondly, we would have been happy to leave €1 for it. But this way doesn't work at all. Simply outrageous and breaking! For this behavior and this manner you would have to give minus stars. Such a character trait doesn't deserve one star. Regardless of whether you are a guest or not!

Won't eat here again. On Sunday May 12th, I watched rats, multiple rats come into that restaurant through the front door. Health inspector needs to visit this place ASAP.

Absolutely love the tapas here! We have been back several times. Lots of gluten free options for me too. Not easy for the vegans in our group though, so we just go without them 🤣

Too bad the service approach after covid became less client friendly. After being a loyal customer, we were pressed once to leave our table despite more orderings, to make space for new customers. It was not told to us that there was a time limit, nor asked if we wanted longer. It became such a bad memory that we avoid this family business for more than a year. What a shame but we wonder how long one needs to be a customer here in Germany before one can expect some recognition as a returning customer. In this case, no point of return.

The bar has been our regular stop for homemade pastel de nata and espresso for many years. We also like to buy wine here and have fond memories of the unfortunately rare dinners. The quality has remained excellent over the years. You feel well served by the two owners. Otherwise there is still room for improvement in terms of staff 🙂

Everything is tasty, filling and the surroundings take you to the streets of Portugal. Personal TOP - date with bacon🤤... 🍷Large wine list at good prices.👍 The jug in the photo contains homemade wine. An ideal place to meet friends. I recommend RESERVING A TABLE on weekends!!!

I guess I am very picky after spending years in Lisbon. It’s ok, from what I tried the cheeses and bread were fresh and good, you can see it’s freshly made with care. Maybe main dishes are delicious. Overall nothing bad to say. Good place for tapas and drinks.

The place is quite small and mostly always full, so I recommend you to reserve before going. The food is quite similar to Spanish tapas. Prices are fine, unfortunately they only accept card for minimum 30€. The waiters are very friendly.

Schöne und nicht zu große Speisekarte. Sehr lecker was ich hatte und ich muss noch mehr als einmal hin um den Rest zu probieren. Original Super Bock am Zapfhahn und schöne Weine zur Auswahl. Selbst Rosé Portwein wird ausgeschenkt. Wir waren gute 3 Stunden in der Lisboa Bar... Spricht wohl sehr für die Gemütlichkeit des Ladens. Der Service ist top! Sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Es wird auch spanisch und portugiesisch gesprochen. Ich freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Besuch!!! 🤗

Portugiesische Tapas, leider größtenteils ziemlich geschmacklos. Hähnchen Piri Piri komplett fad. Brot und aioli als einziges wirklich zu empfehlen. Das man am Freitag Abend auch Mal ne Stunde aufs Essen wartet ist okay, aber zwecks Getränken von der Kellnerin ne halbe Stunde komplett ignoriert zu werden geht nicht. Schade, weil an sich süßer Laden, aber vom Essen noch sehr viel Verbesserungspotential.

Essen sehr gut, Service schwierig 👍 Das Essen kam echt schnell und war super lecker! Wir können ganz besonders die Datteln im Speckmantel und die Überbackenen Auberginen empfehlen. 👎 Der Service lässt allerdings zu wünschen übrig. Von den Kellnerinnen kommt kein bitte, kein Danke und auch sonst keine Höflichkeiten. Zudem wirken sie sehr unkoordiniert. Wenn es einem nur um die Gerichte geht, kann man hier total gut essen gehen. Wir kommen jedoch höchst wahrscheinlich nicht noch einmal her.

Very nice service and nice atmosphere! The food was really good and a fair price even with fish based tapas! Also very very happy of the draft Lisboeta Pale Ale beer - would go back even just for that ❤️

Enjoyed their wine, tapas and nada de pastel. There was one tapa dish that seemed a bit off, and we told the waiter who ensured us it was fine. However we didn’t like it. The place certainly has a potential and I would visit again when in need of a cozy tapas place on a winter night.

Toll schöne und liebevolle eingereichte Bar. Ich war öfter da sehr empfehlenswert und Essen ist sehr lecker und Getränke ist preiswert und genussvoll besonders Wein. Die Besitzer und die Besitzerin kümmern sich um die Gäste sehr liebevoll.
