A great little restaurant with a great range of food and the wine was also great

A culinary delight for friends of Portugal. Unfortunately, like everywhere else, prices have risen significantly. But when it comes to wine, you get a fair deal for a restaurant.

A piece of Portugal in the middle of Berlin. As soon as you walk through the door you immediately feel the Portuguese charm all around you. It was really great and the service was really authentic and very cordial

Very delicious and richly filled fish platter for two people. Tasty and not just the "standard fish", but there were, for example, typical Portuguese fish such as the black scabbardfish. The service was friendly. The only small point of criticism: the guest toilet is in need of repair.

We come to Carlo's dinner once a month and as always we really enjoyed the omelette with prawns and a starter plate, always of course the fish soup

I have to admit, we were a bit skeptical when we arrived because the restaurant was completely empty; but have I never been so proud of being false. We had absolutely fantastic food. We had the seafood in tomato sauce, and it's probably the best in Berlin. The recommended wine was delicious, and there is also beer from Portuguese - a real Portuguese restaurant. Thank you for your hospitality, see you next time!

Diese Restaurant bietet exzellenten Service und köstliche Gerichte. Mein Favorit: die Garnelen. Die hausgemachte Atmosphäre und die kurze Wartezeit machen den Besuch besonders angenehm. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Das portugiesische Restaurant in Berlin überzeugte nicht nur durch seine äußerst gastfreundliche Atmosphäre, sondern auch durch die vorzüglichen Speisen. Die Auswahl an Meeresfrüchten war besonders beeindruckend und die Zubereitung exzellent. Die Desserts, allen voran die typisch portugiesische "Nata", waren ein wahrer Genuss für den Gaumen. Der herzliche Service trug maßgeblich dazu bei, dass der Besuch zu einem rundum angenehmen Erlebnis wurde. Die authentische portugiesische Note des Restaurants schuf eine einladende Atmosphäre, die den Aufenthalt zu etwas Besonderem machte. Insgesamt war die gastronomische Erfahrung durchweg positiv, und ich kann dieses Restaurant allen Freunden der portugiesischen Küche wärmstens empfehlen.

Kleines unscheinbares portugiesisches Restaurant, mitten im Prenzlauer Berg mit authentischer Küche, das Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend, das Essen war richtig lecker und frisch zubereitet, jeden Penny wert, obwohl die Preise nicht die niedrigsten sind, war das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis Top! Wir kommen gerne wieder. Kartenzahlung möglich.

A Cabana is a nicely located and authentic Portuguese experience - they offer a wide variety of Portuguese dishes with fish and meat, as well as some vegetarian rice/omelette dishes. While the main courses and drinks were very enjoyable, we can’t recommend the (frozen and reheated) pastel de natas. Service was okay, but friendly.

Geweldige ervaring, ligt iets buiten het centrum en is een restaurant wat je snel voorbij zult lopen. Echt een aanrader!

I heard a lot about this place and wanted to try it for a long time, but I felt quite disappointed, the price list doesn't Match with the price list they have online and a good Part of them are away to high, like a Casal Garcia White wine, a supermarket wine that, even in Germany, we find very easily at rewe supermarkets for 3,99 euros being Sold for 25 euros it's really a very high price. Food is also pricey for the quality and variety they have. It's a pitty, of course that I know that I couldn't expect the same as being in Portugal but I was expecting a better quality.

My Portuguese partner took me here for dinner and we both loved it. The dourada and the octopus both tasted wonderful, the atmosphere and service were great and I personally love it that they have just a few tables, it was very authentic. They also have Super Bock and good Portuguese wines. Totally recommended and we will be back for sure

É tuga a sério. Boa comida, ambiente, produtos, staff, etc. Fui lá para matar saudades de casa, saí de lá de barriga cheia e ainda mais saudades. Hei-de voltar com amigos para lhes mostrar o que é comida boa.

The chorizo was amazing and so are the mussels. I ordered the grilled octopus which was unfortunately a bit overcooked. Service was great and a great experience overall

Gute portugiesische Küche mit einem netten Service. Sehr authentisch! Eine echte Alternative zu den Spaniern. Bitte bedenken es ist kein Sterne-Restaurant.

Ganz nette Atmosphäre, geschmacklich war das Essen gut, der Wein o.k., aber für ein Stück Bacalhau mit 3 Pellkartoffeln und einer mittelmäßigen Salatbeilage mit matschigem Feldsalat darin fand ich den Preis von knapp 20 € einfach zu hoch.

Tolles, authentisches und gastfreundliches Restaurant. Definitiv zu Empfehlen!! Haben mehrmals sowohl im Restaurant gegessen als auch bestellt - kein einziges Mal enttäuscht gewesen. Das Essen ist einfach super lecker. Preis-Leistung passt absolut. Die Portionen sind nicht klein. Vor Ort ist es sehr idyllisch, familiär rustikal und authentisch. Wer u.a. auch schon mal in Portugal war, wird sich definitiv wohl fühlen. Das Personal ist typisch portugiesisch - äußerst freundlich. Klare Empfehlung! Kommen gerne wieder.

Kleines Restaurant in der Hufelandstraße, Rand-Prenzlauer Berg. Parkplätze sind hier Glückssache, Fahrradfahrer-Revier. Schnelle und freundliche Bedienung, Küche authentisch. Große Portionen zu fairen Preisen, frisch zubereitet. Steak war auf den Punkt und gut, dazu Salatbeilage und krosse Kartoffeln. Der Kaffee ist super (DELTA) und es gibt Pasteis de nata- natürlich warm gemacht. In der Karte natürlich auch viel Fisch. Empfehlung.

Von vielen empfohlen, aber wir haben das Restaurant enttäuscht verlassen, erstmal sehr klein, nur 6 Tische, es gibt nicht alle Gerichte und Getränke die auf der Speisekarte angeboten wurden, das Fleisch war sehr zäh und sehnig, insgesamt wurde alles lieblos zubereitet und hingestellt, dafür war es billig, das Personal war bemüht aber solange Gäste am Tisch sitzen darf man nicht alles abräumen, man lässt wenigstens die Gläser stehen, es gibt bessere Restaurants

Not sure of the great reviews, but reading them I had high expectations. However, the pan fried cod was dismal and one of the worst dishes I had in my life. The fish was probably frozen, not thawed properly and tasted funny. Considering the price I expected the quality to be better (although the gravy tasted good). After this experience, I will not be eating cod for a long time.

Não recomendo só pelo facto da arrogância do dono, mal viu que éramos portugueses ficou logo com cara de sonso, logo de seguida não deixou entrar um pequeno grupo de pessoas portuguesas e que foram propositadamente para jantar, eram a volta de 20:30h da noite, disse que não nos servia porque a cozinha fechava as 22h que estava cheio, sendo que lá dentro tinha 2 mesas vazias Cada vez mais me arrependo de procurar restaurantes portugueses fora de portugal Muito mau

All the food is good here, but the octopus is the best I had in Berlin - tasty and perfectly well cooked - crispy skin and tender inside.

Wirklich mega. Wir hatten Glück das wir noch 2 Sitzplätze bekommen könnten. Denn eigentlich war alles reserviert. Das Essen ist der Wahnsinn. Eine dicke Empfehlung

Super netter Service, von Menschen aus Nordportugal betrieben - der besonders freundlichen Region des Landes - und zumindest für Leute, die Fleisch essen, sehr authentisch und lecker. Für mich als Vegetarier war das Essen okay, aber angemessen an Quantität und Authentizität zu teuer. In Porto (und Lisboa natürlich) gibt es immer mehr Restaurants, die z.B. bacalhau à brás, bacalhau com natas oder sogar francesinha in vegane und vegetarische Optionen neu deuten. Sogar in Berlin habe ich schon eine vegane francesinha gesehen. Dafür, dass das Restaurant in Pberg liegt, fand ich die vegetarischen Optionen überschaubar. Das gilt aber leider für fast alle portugiesischen Restaurants in Berlin und anderen Städten Deutschlands. Dennoch punktet das Restaurant für mich mit dem Service und Ambiente.

Die Karte ist sehr enttäuschend, fast nur Fleisch oder Fisch mit Kartoffeln. Hat leider auch nicht gut geschmeckt. Der eine Kellner war freundlich, der andere (Besitzer?) saß schlecht gelaunt, rauchend und unangemessen gekleidet vor dem Restaurant auf der Bank. Allgemein keine gute Erfahrung.

Sehr kleines,rustikales Restaurant, was mit sehr leckeren, portugiesischen Speisen überrascht. Die Bedienung ist sehr nett und man geht auf Allergiker ein und tauscht, z.B. Gemüse gegen ein Andererseits. Als Getränke gibt es natürlich portogisischen Wein,Bier und Mineralwasser Somit fühlt man sich wie im Urlaub, besonders, wenn man draußen in der Sonne isst. Wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder, denn wir müsssen ja noch die anderen leckeren Gerichte probiere😋👍

Friendly staff, but as a Portuguese person I don’t recommend this, at least to other Portuguese people, Portuguese food connoisseurs. It’s overpriced, and unfortunately the dishes had more potatoes and onions than bacalhau (fish). I give it 3 stars as people were really lovely. But don’t get your hopes up on the fish.

Even though I really wanted to write something great about it, I can't. The Bacalhau à Gomes de sá was mostly potatoes, and very little fish content. The mussels were extremely salty, and the octopus dish had great vegetables but very little octopus in it. For dishes that are almost 20€ I expected a decent quantify of protein on the plate. The bolinho de bacalhau was very good. The pastel de nata was probably stored somewhere with other food, because it smeeled like "fridge", which killed the experience of having a sweet after a meal. I really wanted to like this restaurant, because I love Portuguese food, but sadly it was very disappointing.

Quite pricey for a small meal in Berlin, but I guess the ingredients were too. I really liked the fish soup I had and the service was very friendly and attentive. Reminded me of Lisbon.

I searched for fish restaurants in Berlin and this was the closest to my hotel. What a great find! The owner and his son were very attentive. The menu has a wide variety of food, but I only looked at the fish dishes. There were many items to choose from. The fish was perfectly cooked and the side items went well with the meal, especially the veggies. In summer they have outdoor seating. Highly recommended!

Süßes kleines Restaurant, ganz liebe Inhaber, leckere portugiesische Küche. Man vergisst, dass man in Berlin ist. Kurzurlaub für die Seele und Gaumen. Preise mehr als angemessen. Es ist wirklich klein, auf jeden Fall vorher reservieren. Es lohnt sich ☺️

Sehr gutes, frisches und sehr schmackhaftes Essen! Wir hatten die Muscheln als Vorspeise zu zweit geteilt. Es wird auch ein wunderbar frisches Brot mit fluffiger Knoblauch Kräuterbutter gereicht sobald man sich setzt. Als Hauptspeise hatten wir die gemischte Fischplatte. Ein absoluter Traum. Die Küche würzt gut, wer sonst nachsalzst sollte hier zuerst probieren. :)

O restaurante é português. Os donos são portugueses. O ambiente é português. O vinho é português. Porém a comida é aquém da portuguesa. O bacalhau a Brás não tinha sal, muita cebola no lugar do bacalhau. Sem sabor e sem alho, ingrediente do prato. O bacalhau com legumes é aquele congelado bobo que se compra e faz rapidinho em casa.

Klein, gezellig en heerlijk eten

Schade, dass ich keine Null-Sterne vergeben kann. Was für eine furchtbare Location mit grauemvollen Essen. Der Stockfisch schwamm in Öl, mein Teller saß aus wie die Komposition eines Tellers für Erkrankte im Krankenhaus. Zwei Karotten nebeneinander, zwei Kartoffeln nebeneinander, zwei verkochte Brokkoliblüten nebeneinander und der Fisch grau und trocken und absolut ohne Geschmack. Die Gemüsesuppe war fad - einfach nur fad. Und die Stockfischkroketten waren trocken und mal wieder, ohne jeglichen Geschmack. Wie geht sowas? Die portugiesische Küche ist doch in der Regel richtig lecker... Und zu allem Überfluss: Mein Partner und ich hatten die ganze Nacht dann große Magenschmerzen. Schade. Wie gesagt, schade, dass ich keine Null-Sterne vergeben kann.

Sehr gemütliches Restaurant, das zum Verweilen einlädt :) Ich hatte das Zanderfilet mit Butter und Zitrone, das Gericht kann ich auf jeden Fall empfehlen. Die Bedienung war aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir kommen wieder!
