Lisas Palmengarten in Bochum

War mal wieder zum Frühstück vor Ort gewesen. Dieses mal war ich leider nicht zu frieden!!! Wir hatten das Frühstück für zwei bestellt und ich war enttäuscht!! Wir hatten normale Brötchen gewünscht und leider waren die aufgebacken was vielleicht nicht so ein großes Problem ist, aber beim aufschneiden brach die obere Hälfte durch. Vorschlag, vielleicht könnte man in Zukunft extra ein Messer für Brot/ Brötchen dazu legen!!! Bei den Frühstück für zwei hatten wir uns für Käse entschieden, leider wurden wir nicht gefragt was wir da gerne hätten. Bei den Kaffee den wir bestellt hatten wurden wir gefragt ob mit oder ohne Milch. Wir sagten mit Milch, aber jetzt kommt für mich etwas was nicht geht,der Kaffee kam und die Milch war den Kaffee schon hinzugefügt, also das ist etwas was gar nicht geht!!! Ich möchte schon selber entscheiden wie viel Milch ich in meinen Kaffee haben möchte!!! Ansonsten für zwei Personen eine Scheibe Tomate als Beilage ist schon sehr sparsam!!! Ob ich dort nochmal frühstücken gehe weiß ich nicht.

Wir waren am 14.07.2026 da frühstücken. N I E wieder! Schlechte Qualität überteuert! "Frühstück für Zwei" 22,50 Euro. - Die 4 Bäckerbrötchen waren hart aufgebackene Tiefkühlware. - Das Brot war nicht da. Dafür gab es dann 2 Körnerbrötchen, auch aufgebackene Tiefkühlware. - Die Käseauswahl bestand aus 3 Minipackungen Schmierkäse und billigem Schmelzkäse. Schnittkäse gab es auch nicht. - Wir wurden nach Wurst und Aufschnitt gefragt. Haben gesagt, alles außer Mortadella. Wurde auch so gebracht. ABER: Leider haben wir erst zuhause gesehen, dass für die nicht gewünschte Mortadella zweimal Putenwurst für zusätzlich je 1,20 Euro, also 2,40 Euro berechnet wurden. Ist das normal oder nennt man das Betrug oder Dummheit? Keine Ahnung! - Die Nuss-Nougat-Creme (lt. Karte) gab es auch nicht. Fazit: Nie wieder Lisa Palmengarten! Unzumutbar. Wir hatten uns sofort gewundert, dass nur 1 Tisch mit 2 Personen besetzt war. Jetzt wissen wir warum.

Wir waren mit Freundinnen in diesem Restaurant verabredet und haben uns dort etwas zu essen bestellt. Leider war der Besuch aus kulinarischer Sicht enttäuschend. Obwohl wir überwiegend Salate und ein vegetarisches Gericht bestellt hatten, mussten wir über eine Stunde auf unser Essen warten. Das war für die Art der bestellten Speisen doch recht lang. Der Putensalat konnte ebenfalls nicht überzeugen. Auf einem großen Teller lagen etwas Blattsalat, Tomate, Gurke, etwas Weißkohlsalat und anderes sauer eingelegtes Gemüse. Die Putenstreifen waren sehr trocken und mit einer eher kleinen Portion vertreten. Für einen Preis von knapp 18 Euro hatten wir deutlich mehr erwartet. Auch das vegetarische Gericht „Grüne Wiese“ entsprach leider nicht unseren Vorstellungen. Geschmacklich und optisch wirkte es wenig ansprechend und ließ frisches Gemüse vermissen. Schade, denn das Ambiente ist nicht schlecht und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Umso mehr hätten wir uns gewünscht, dass auch die Qualität der Speisen und der Service diesem Eindruck gerecht werden.

Habe trotz einiger negativen Bewertungen dem Restaurant eine Chance geben wollen und war heute zum Frühstücken da. Haben für um 10 Uhr einen Tisch reserviert bei der Ankunft sagte man uns, das „verschlafen“ wurde und wir daher noch ein wenig Geduld haben müssten - dafür wurde uns ein Gratis Getränk angeboten. Alles noch annehmbar und „kann ja mal passieren“ - nach dem das Buffet dann eröffnet wurde, waren erst nur Brötchen, Aufschnitt und Saft da- kleckerweise kamen dann innerhalb 1,5 Stunden Kaffee, Mozzarella, Obst etc dazu. Nachdem uns der Hunger vergangen war kam dann Eier und Speck - man musste einfach so oft zum Buffet gehen, um zu schauen, ob wieder Brötchen und andere Sachen aufgefüllt sind. Der Service war teilweise trotzdem sehr bemüht. Für 15,90€ pro Person jedoch alles in allem sehr ärgerlich. Neben uns haben sich Personen beschwert, dass das Buffet organisatorisch nicht gut war - die Kritik wurde dann nicht angenommen sondern eher relativiert, dass sie ja die einzigen wären, die sich beschweren. Wir haben uns im Anschluss ebenfalls beschwert und kommen aufgrund der Erfahrung nicht mehr wieder.

Spontan zum Frühstücken vorbei gekommen. Mitarbeiter alle sehr nett. Preise ok, Ambiente nett. Gibt gratis WLAN.

Netter Biergarten, sehr leckeres Essen (besten Pommes, die es gibt) und nette Bedienung (Sabrina).

Wir wollte heute unseren Gutschein für das Frühstücksbuffet einlösen und waren von dem schlechten Angebot so negativ überrascht, dass wir das Restaurant wieder verlassen haben. Die Präsentation der Speisen war nicht einladend und das Angebot so überschaubar oder schon vergriffen, obwohl das Frühstück gerade erst begonnen hatte. Ich habe noch nie ein Frühstücksbuffet mit so kleinem Angebot gesehen. An dieser Stelle möchte ich noch ergänzen, dass die Servicekraft sehr freundlich und bemüht war.

Sehr schöne und heimelige Gast-Stätte in der man sich wohl fühlen kann, waren zum Frühstück dort. Meine Frau wird dieses Jahr dort ihren Geburtstag feiern, falls das für den geneigten Leser ein Prädikat ist.

Es gibt kein vergleichbar schön gelegenes Cafe am See mitten des Stadtparks im Ruhrgebiet!

Tolles Frühstücksbuffet mit frisch zubereiteten Eiergerichten und knusprigem Bacon. Sogar der Kaffee schmeckt hier ausgezeichnet, was bekanntlich nicht jedes Café von sich behaupten kann. Dazu ein gemütliches Ambiente mit schönen Hinguckern, ein Biergarten für sonnige Tage und ein super freundliches Team, das gute Laune gleich mit serviert. Kurz gesagt. Fürs Frühstück komme ich, für den Kaffee bleibe ich. 😉🌴

Wir waren am Samstag bei Lisas Grill-BBQ. Den Tisch haben wir online reserviert und auch umgehend eine Rückmeldung erhalten. Der Service war top, die Bedingungen sind sehr aufmerksam und zwischendurch auch für einen kleinen Spaß zu haben. Man kann sehr schön draußen sitzen und auch wenn es an einer Hauptstraße liegt, ist es ruhig und man kann die Zeit genießen. Wer nicht draußen sitzen mag, kann es sich auch im inneren gemütlich machen. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Dem „Grillmeister“ konnte man seinen Essenswünsche nennen und es wurde frisch zubereitet. Das Grillgut wurde dann von den Bedienungen direkt an den Tisch gebracht. Die Salate, Baguettes, Dips. Saucen und Kräuterbutter befinden sich im inneren, in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Außenbereich. Wir haben uns Nackensteaks, Bauchfleisch und Bratwürstchen zubereiten lassen. Das Fleisch war lecker mariniert und hatten eine ideale Größe (und Dicke). Und dazu dann noch die leckeren Grillwürstchen von Dönninghaus. Die Salate und das Baguette schmeckten auch sehr lecker, genauso wie die Kräuterbutter, Dips und Saucen. Das selbstgemachte Zaziki konnte man sehr gut mit dem Fleisch, wie auch mit dem Baguette essen. Auch wenn der Preis etwas hoch ist, kann man sagen, dass er für die Qualität und dem Service entsprechend ist.

Ich musste zum Friseur. Davor war ich beim Training. Ich hatte nach einem leckeren und guten Restaurant gesucht. Plötzlich hatte ich diesen Laden gefunden. Ganz entspannt und easy eine Tomatensuppe + die "Grüne Wiese" bestellt. Ich war begeistert. Es war echt lecker. Das Essen kam schnell. Es war frisch. Großartig. Danke für alles. Danke auch an die Kellner*innen. Ihr seid wirklich ein super Team. Man kann übrigens hinten sitzen... es war sonnig und sehr angenehm. Ich komme definitiv nochmal.

Na, ja, ich habe gerade nicht wirklich Vergleichsmöglichkeiten. Was mir auffiel, dass die Einführung unvollständig war. Es wurde berichtet, dass Rührei und Bacon gesondert zu ordern seien. Tatsächlich betraf dies auch z. B. gekochte Eier, die dann auch nicht auf dem Buffet zu finden waren. Das Nachlegen von Wurst, Käse, Brötchen erfolgte etwas schleppend. Das angebotene reichhaltige Buffet war nicht so üppig ausgestattet, aber wie gesagt, mir fehlen Vergleichsmöglichkeiten. Insgesamt waren wir satt und zufrieden. Das herzliche Personal machte einiges wett. Insgesamt würde ich die Lokalität weiter empfehlen. Leckeren Kaffee und Saft gab es ohne Beschränkung.

Ich wollte dieses Café/Restaurant heute ausprobieren, um eventuell demnächst einen Geburtstag dort zu feiern. Ich war erstaunt, dass überhaupt keine Gäste da waren, später kamen 2 Personen. Ich weiß jetzt warum . Wenn Sie Null Service erleben und völlig ignoriert werden möchten, sind Sie hier richtig! Essen kann ich nicht bewerten, weil ich keines bekommen habe. Unglaublich! Wie überleben die?

Beim frühstücksbuffet Hoffnungslos überfordert

Essen war gut. Nur die Arbeiter waren sehr gestresst. Insgesamt wirkte eine Gestresste Atmosphäre. Der Mann war daher nicht freundlich. Die Frau aber schon. Der Laden könnte mal renoviert werden aber sonst war es ok.

Leckeres Essen, Personal super freundlich und kompetent, sogar für Veganer zu empfehlen

Wir waren heute mit 7 Personen zum Frühstück…ein einziger Alptraum! Warten auf Kaffee 45 Minuten! Buffet leer… und das um 10:00 Uhr morgens! Nie wieder

Wir waren Anfang dem Weg zum Varieté, da uns dort die Speisekarte nicht zusagte hatte, haben wir ein Restaurant in der nähe gesucht und Lisas Palmengarten gefunden. Es war super schön, hatte ein tolles Ambiente, durchweg sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter/innen und das Essen war sehr gut. Wir hatten lange schon außerhalb nicht mehr so gut gegessen. Große Empfehlung! Wie kommen definitiv nochmal wieder.

Wir gehen als Autor*innen-Stammtisch seit 3 Jahren dort 2 - 3 x im Jahr in einen der beiden Gruppen-Räume (Wintergarten oder maritimer Raum). Und einige von uns kehren bereits seit 10 Jahren ab und zu als Gast ein. Uns überzeugt der im großen und ganzen nette und meistens aufmerksame Service sowie die Speise- und Getränkekarte. Die Qualität der Kuchen variiert leider sehr stark, was ich manchmal sehr schade finde. Alle heißen Getränke schmecken dort grundsätzlich gut. Eiskugeln gibt es dort auch. Preise gehen noch im Verhältnis zu vielen anderen Lokalen. Hervorzuheben ist der günstige Mittagstisch, was sicher auch den vielen Senioren mit weniger Geld in dem Wohnviertel und aus den umliegenden Altenheimen zugute kommt. Der große Biergarten überzeugt uns im Sommer immer wieder. Auch, dass das Lokal sehr gut erreichbar ist und wirklich viele kostenlose Parkplätze direkt am Haus und gegenüber am Riemker Markt sind, ist sehr praktisch. Die U35 Riemke Markt hält direkt vor der Tür. Der Zugang ist zudem behindertengerecht. Dies ist ein wirklich empfehlenswerted und viel zu oft unterschätztes oder übersehenes Lokal an der Herner Str. -- wir kommen immer wieder gern hier hin.

Sehr nett gestaltet und freundlicher Service

Waren nach langer Zeit mal wieder hier essen – und leider hat sich einiges verändert, aber nicht zum Positiven. Schon der Start war enttäuschend: Obwohl nur vier Tische besetzt waren und drei Mitarbeiter vor Ort waren, haben wir erst einmal rund 20 Minuten gewartet, bis überhaupt jemand zu uns kam. Nach der Bestellung dauerte es weitere 20-30 Minuten, bis die Vorspeisen kamen – und das bei wirklich einfachen Dingen wie Bruschetta und Brot mit Aioli. Eine Person von uns hatte sich nur Kaffee und Kuchen bestellt, der eigentlich zusammen mit der Vorspeise kommen sollte. Der Kaffee kam zwar zusammen mit den kalten Getränken, aber der Kuchen wurde komplett vergessen und erst auf Nachfrage deutlich später gebracht. Entsprechend war der Kaffee dann natürlich längst kalt – so bringt ein warmes Getränk zum Kuchen auch nichts mehr. Auch das Essen selbst konnte leider nicht überzeugen: Die Folienkartoffel war komplett geschmacklos, der Lachs lieblos daraufgeklatscht und in viel zu viel Sour Cream ertränkt – ohne jede Würze. Der Salat dabei war bereits wabbelig und nicht mehr frisch. Die Spaghetti mit Gambas waren extrem scharf – nicht angenehm scharf, sondern schlicht ungenießbar. Erst beim Servieren wurde uns gesagt: „Vorsicht, die sind wirklich sehr sehr scharf.“ Diese Information wäre bei der Bestellung deutlich hilfreicher gewesen. Der Burger war in Ordnung, aber nichts Besonderes. Die Fischstäbchen waren angebrannt und lieblos zubereitet. Zwischendurch bestellte Getränke kamen ebenfalls erst nach etwa 10-15 Minuten und erneuter Nachfrage und dazu noch zweimal in der falschen Ausführung. Positiv war lediglich, dass die zurückgegebenen, ungenießbar scharfen Nudeln von der Rechnung genommen wurden. Insgesamt stimmt hier weder der Service noch die Qualität des Essens mit den Preisen überein!

Kleines niedliches ruhiges Café. Frühstücks Bufett ist recht sparsam gehalten,die Auswahl ist etwas wenig aber für ein kleines Frühstück ideal. Das Rührei mit Bacon wird frisch zubereitet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Preis Leistung ist es im mittleren Budget gehalten. Im Buffet sind Getränke wie Saft Tee und Filter Kaffee mit inbegriffen und somit preislich noch akzeptabel.

Ein sehr reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet, Eierspeisen wurden frisch zubereitet und serviert. Der Service lief super, die Damen sind supernett. Parken konnten wir kostenlos.

Wir wurden nett vom Kellner in Empfang genommen. Dieser erklärte alles Rund ums Frühstücks Buffet. Rührei mit Bacon konnte frisch zubereitet bei ihm bestellt werden (war im Frühstück inklusive). Beim Buffet eine leckere Auswahl an Käse, Wurst, Aufstrich, Mozzarella Tomate und Obst. Auch Quark und Müsli stand bereit. Gratis gab es Filterkaffee, Tee, Milch und Säfte. Schönes Ambiente und familiäre Atmosphäre. Wir kommen gerne wieder :) Preis/Leistung optimal

Vom Ambiente her ein sehr schönes Restaurant. Über den Rest kann man sich streiten. War vor 3 Tagen mit 2 Bekannten dort essen. Es stimmte Alles, bis auf die sanitären Anlagen. Die Toilettenbrillen lassen mehr als zu wünschen übrig. Unter der Prämisse, dass die Badoase Hasenkamp dahintersteckt, einfach nur Blamabel.

Kleine Auswahl am Buffet. Personel unterbesetzt. Hat dadurch mit dem nachlegen etwas gedauert.

Enttäuschender Besuch zum Geburtstagsfrühstück. Das Buffet sollte um 9:30 Uhr eröffnet werden, war zu diesem Zeitpunkt jedoch größtenteils leer. Obwohl nur wenige Gäste im Lokal waren, mussten wir rund 40 Minuten auf Nachschub warten. Für einen reservierten Anlass wirklich unpassend. Schade, wir hatten uns deutlich mehr erwartet. Für uns leider kein zweites Mal.

Super nettes Personal, sehr leckeres Essen und die Getränke sind einfach wow!

Ich fand es nicht so gut. Preise sind viel zu hoch. Die Portionen echt wenig, bin hungrig gegangen. Die Pommes waren pappig, nicht lang genug frittiert. Die Curry Sauce ist ganz gut, das wars aber auch schon

Wir waren heute erstmalig zum Frühstück dort. Nettes Ambiente und sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Mitarbeiter. Das Buffet war nicht riesig, enthielt aber alles was man sich wünscht und Rührei wurde auf Wunsch frisch zubereitet. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Der Palmengarten bekommt ein solides "Ok". Das Restaurant und das Team sind nett und familienfreundlich, die Lage ist gut und Parkplätze (+Ladestation) sind ausreichend vorhanden. Es gibt für Alle etwas, Saisonales, auch viel für Vegetarier. Knackpunkt sind die Preise: mittlerweile 20€ aufwärts pro Speise für erkennbar Convenience/TK ist zu viel (Ausnahme Mittagstisch). Dazu kommen lange Wartezeiten auch bei geringer Auslastung und mitunter Überforderung bei Gesellschaften (z.B. eingeschränkte Auswahl, sparsam belegte Brötchen). Man wird satt, mit Kindern ist es eine gute Adresse und die Atmosphäre ist nett. Der Preis/Leistungs-Sieger, der das Restaurant vor einiger Zeit mal war, ist es aber leider nicht mehr.

Wir waren dort frühstücken und das Buffet war super, vor allem das frische Obst.

War das erste Mal dort, mit einer Gruppe von 20-25 Leuten. Der Service ist einsame spitze, so liebe Mitarbeiter! Es wurde extra eine vegane Karte für uns erstellt. Das Essen war auch super! Ich komme gerne wieder. :-)

There's one server who's always friendly. When she's not there, the other servers are always in a bad mood and make faces. I think the service is fantastic when she's there. Otherwise, I wouldn't go into this place because none of them are very friendly. Besides, she's sometimes alone and has to help out at the counter, and people have to wait. It always depends on who's preparing the food. And you have to wait a very long time for your food. That's unacceptable. The prices are too high. I definitely wouldn't recommend it. No one else can match what that young woman does in that place. And I would never go back to the place when she leaves.

From breakfast and lunch to coffee and cake (or waffles, mmm...) and dinner, pretty much everything is offered here. The relatively new kitchen is good, sometimes even very good. The prices are reasonable, and the lunch menu (€8.80) is very affordable. It includes a main course, which might not be entirely filling, but you can add a soup (a generous portion!) or dessert. The service has been excellent so far, appearing competent and very friendly. The ambiance (with an outdoor area and a lovely conservatory) is cozy. The restrooms and restaurant were clean. For me, it's a pleasant place with very good service and good food.

I would come back anytime. Gearbox NRW recommended this place to me while I waited for my car to be repaired. It's just a few minutes' walk away. I had the breakfast buffet for just over €15 (available only from Thursday to Sunday). The buffet itself is small but delicious. There's plenty of coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and juice. Scrambled eggs were made to order, freshly made, and very tasty. The restaurant is very charmingly decorated, and the outdoor area is perfect for relaxing in the summer. There's a selection of different cakes that look delicious. I'll definitely try them next time I'm in the area. The staff also made my visit a success. Very friendly and attentive.

Extremely disrespectful behavior. The door was locked at 8:30 pm, and the staff were getting drunk even though they supposedly open until 11:00 pm every day. As soon as they saw us, they went into the back room and didn't come back. We then called to check if the place was still open. The employee came running out, looked at his phone, and completely ignored the call. This is absolutely unacceptable, especially since we had specifically planned our evening there. If it were possible, I would have given them 0 out of 5 stars immediately.

I wouldn't go there again! Anyone who's ever eaten a Dönninghaus sausage knows what it should be like in Bochum. But this sausage, I think, was only in the pan for two minutes and was cold. Not good!

The bread rolls were so-so... they didn't always replenish everything... the coffee is a matter of taste... Nutella and jam were only available upon request... For the price, it's okay; you'll still get full if you're willing to accept the limitations.

Simple food at rather high prices

We ate there today with a large group... The room we were in was completely unloved and a bit of a mixed bag. The food was simply not good quality for the advertised prices! Cheap, overcooked baguette, ready-made sauce, and soggy fried potatoes. The food was simply slapped onto the plate. One person in our group received their food quite a distance from the rest of us, and it was also simply terrible! The service didn't respond to criticism with either an apology or any kind of accommodation. All in all, a huge disappointment And it wasn't full! So, I have no sympathy for this total failure.

Honestly, it was expensive, and the food sat in my stomach all night. I'm sitting here with chamomile tea and I'm just angry that I didn't send my meal back last night. Sometimes you're too polite and/or too hungry. I had the baked French fries. It was cold and had more breading than cheese. My husband had a Budapest-style schnitzel. The sauce tasted like cardboard, and the peas and carrots were barely seasoned...everything took a very long time. The waitress was friendly, but she had to write everything down. Oh well, the fries were delicious. But they are at the snack bar around the corner from me too! Definitely not going back.

Super friendly staff. Very child-friendly. A few fries slipped off the chef's plate while serving. He immediately apologized and fetched an extra plate of fries from the kitchen. There are many vegan dishes, a reusable system, and a large selection of drinks. At the end of the meal, they even gave our son a free ice cream, and his main course was free too because he's 5 years old. Amazing. You don't see that very often anymore. We'll definitely be back. A real hit! 70s vibes and really good cocktails and schnitzel 😍 The restaurant is definitely a hidden gem 💎 and we'll definitely be coming here more often now!

These are no good Unfriendly people

I would advise against going there. The name "Lisa's Palm Garden" sounds like a lovely little independent restaurant with delicious homemade dishes. BUT: it's just reheated fast food. The tomato soup was clumpy and tasted like instant soup. The vegan burger was just an average patty slapped on a cheap instant bun, with no fresh lettuce or tomatoes – for a super-expensive €18. The only thing that was tasty were the fries. The service was very unprofessional and unfriendly. She rolled her eyes when we asked questions and didn't even know much about the menu. She yelled at us for our order, but then brought us too few dips and the wrong dips...

We were here for the breakfast buffet, a really nice cafe. The waiters were super friendly and very attentive at the table. The scrambled eggs and bacon were freshly prepared and brought to our table. The selection was limited, but perfectly adequate for us. What bothered us a bit was that we had to keep asking for rolls, sausage, and cheese to be refilled.

Due to my mother's immobility and limited alternatives, we frequent the Palmgarten restaurant quite often. We repeatedly have negative experiences. There are three staff members at the counter, and you wait up to 10 minutes for the bill or for your order to be taken. Dishes get mixed up, and so on. Today was the icing on the cake. It was a private party, which was neither indicated online nor by a sign on the door.

It used to be better. It's gotten a lot worse.

Friendly welcome. Dinner for 6 people. The schnitzel itself was good, the sauce tasty but very sparse, and some of the fries were cold. The lasagna was very dark and extremely dry. Its texture was crumbly. It wasn't in a casserole dish, but served in one piece on a plate. When we complained, the chef personally came and offered to trim off the dry crust, as he felt it should be more moist inside. He declined. We've eaten there before, and it was good. After our last experience, we won't be eating there again. Unfortunately, the farewell was much more impersonal than the welcome. It's a shame, as the place itself is inviting.

We went to Lisa's Palmengarten for breakfast on Sunday. The cappuccino was delicious, the ambiance lovely, and the service attentive. The breakfast itself was nothing special.

We were there yesterday for the first time, and also the last time. We were the only ones in the restaurant and ordered a pizza, a burger, and pasta. The frozen pizza was mostly raw, the burger was also thrown together, and there were two dry meatballs, not even the fries were cooked properly. The waitress was nice, what else could she do? She looked bored; we were the only ones there at 7 p.m. on a Sunday. The restaurant needs to be redesigned. After eating, I wasn't surprised that it was quiet.

Too expensive, just a Bockwurst for €7 in a roll. Not even at a Christmas market is a Krakauer that expensive.

I went there for a leisurely breakfast with my best friend, and the restaurant was very nice and the ambiance was appealing. The breakfast buffet wasn't huge, but it was perfectly adequate. There was a bit of everything, it was delicious, and we were full. The only thing missing from the selection was yogurt or quark (perhaps they have that on request), but since I wouldn't have eaten it anyway, I didn't bother asking. Salmon and various other items were available upon request. Small requests were handled promptly and easily. Our wait staff was very friendly and personable, explaining everything, as it was our first time there. Unfortunately, I didn't take a photo of the hot cocoa, but it looked appealing, and they served it with a cute little star-shaped cookie. Parking was available in the parking lot to the left of the building; the server gave us a token to exit, so we could park for free. Next time we'll try the rest of the food and also the cocktail happy hour 😋👍🏻 And if the weather cooperates, I'd like to sit outside sometime. I'll definitely be back! ♡

I've had the vegan burger several times; it's always well prepared, even with some antipasti vegetables, and I quite like it. The only complaint is that they don't serve whole-grain bread, as stated on the menu.

Very varied menu, perhaps a bit too large. I really liked the vegan and gluten-free options – great! We had a schnitzel and a baked potato. Both were delicious. The service is attentive and friendly, and you can sit outside. We'll be back!

Absolutely not. We've been sitting for an hour and nothing's come, our drinks are empty, no service, and hardly any German is spoken. It gives the impression that they don't want to work. A table with two people and three burgers... the food arrived cold, and we went in without interest, and paid €20 for it.

Good food, a very good selection. There's something for everyone. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, with a truly comfortable atmosphere. We'd love to come back.

Coffee was cold, milk was only available upon request, rolls were half-baked, and the coffee was already empty, as the ordered breakfast didn't arrive for more than half an hour. The staff were very inattentive, and the restaurant was cold. The table wasn't cleared. I ordered strawberry cake for my 87th birthday. My 3-year-old granddaughter could have done a better job with the topping.

Went there for the first time today. The website and description sounded quite interesting. When we arrived, there was no sign of any staff. Everyone had disappeared. We sat down and waited until someone came to take our order. The drinks came fairly quickly, but it took over an hour for the food to arrive! And it wasn't even full. We weren't even noticed for a long time, or even apologized for taking so long. Eventually, the food arrived. Everything was very nicely and decoratively presented. But unfortunately, that was it. Some of the food was already cold, and the pasta dish was so dry. It was missing some sauce. The pizza tasted like it had come from an oven that had burned inside and imparted its flavor to the pizza. In the end, we had to find staff again to pay. At the end, they asked if you wanted anything else, but otherwise, it seemed like they had no overview of the guests. There's a lack of attention. They completely forgot about dessert, so you had to ask the staff about it yourself. What a shame! Nice place, but the service and the food could use some work ;) Then they'd get more stars.

Bad reviews are deleted; I also received a notification from Google. The coffee party at our wedding was a complete disaster. Large plates for the cake, no table setting, and poor service are just a few things. So, now you can have it deleted.

We went there for the breakfast buffet at Easter. The food was okay. Unfortunately, we had to wait 15-20 minutes for croissants, for example, to be refilled. We waited 20 minutes for someone to come so we could order drinks. We wanted to order a coffee, etc., at the end, but unfortunately, no one came after 20 minutes. Accordingly, the service was not that good, even though it wasn't very busy.

We were there for Artnight, which was really nice in itself. However, we had to ask several times to get someone to take our drink order. Then it took a very long time until these were served and then for 2.5 hours no staff came to us and asked if we would like anything else. So we decided against eating something there afterwards. In any case, this has nothing to do with service or gastronomy. That's almost a denial of sales 😅

We celebrated a big birthday there and decided on the brunch buffet. We made reservations 4 months ago for 28 people. The set was for 25 people, so some of the guests couldn't sit at the communal table because it wouldn't have fit. Sparkling wine was also included. We received a tablet with 2 sparkling wine bottles and 10 glasses. When asked for another 18 champagne glasses, they said "I'll have to see if we still have any". Dirty wine glasses were then brought in from the cellar. At the table itself, there was no service. The guests had to go to the counter to order drinks or get coffee. The buffet was solid, (Scrambled eggs, sausage, tomato/mozzarella, meatballs, smacks, etc.) Unfortunately, the staff had to be repeatedly made aware that the buffet had to be refilled. The service didn't work at all, it wasn't cleared away in between and the store was definitely not well attended. Later in the beer garden the service worked and the lady was very friendly. It's a shame that we had to have such an experience for such a small price, even though it was such a nice event to get together.

When asked by telephone, we were assured several times that there was a disabled toilet. That is NOT the case! During subsequent test calls, people continued to insist on the phone that they had a disabled toilet, even though staff knew this was not the case. For this reason, absolutely not recommended.

My girlfriend and I went to Lisa's Palmengarten today and were absolutely thrilled! The atmosphere is pleasant and inviting, the service was friendly and attentive. Particularly noteworthy are the generous portions - we both came with good appetites and were more than full. The price-performance ratio is also absolutely right: fair prices for really tasty and rich dishes. We'll definitely be back!

Staff is not familiar with the allergens. Store empty... Waited over 45 minutes for food. The portion size doesn't match the price, so it's better not to show up hungry. Schnitzel not seasoned enough. Too salty pizza. Staff asks if it was tasty while people are still eating. Thank you once and never again.

Difficult, difficult... I really don't like writing reviews of restaurants that didn't convince me. I was at the company some time ago and had a look around. The company looks great and overall I liked the look of it. Looking at the front of the house, you don't necessarily expect a really nice establishment, and even less so a lovingly designed beer garden. Late in the afternoon, on a Tuesday, my wife and I were guests and we just wanted a snack and a drink. I chose a spaghetti ice cream and a wheat beer and my wife chose a currywurst and a small Alster. The service was really nice and friendly, but that doesn't disguise the fact that the overall result can only be as good as the weakest link. The menu is extensive, no question, but who can be really good at everything? Generic dishes, something for everyone, whether classics, schnitzel parade, pasta dishes, burger parade, pizza, etc. This reads like an order slip from a delivery pizzeria that can't decide. The only things missing are Indian and Chinese dishes. I wonder why you do that? This only makes the decision more difficult for the guest. There are countless studies on this. In addition, the guest often assumes that they cannot receive any fresh goods! As far as I know, the map should be reduced in size (I was told on the first visit), which I would strongly recommend. It's better to have 10 really GOOD dishes than 100 dishes between "pretty good" and "that's fine". You should then remove the spaghetti ice cream straight away, as you will end up with a lump of ice cream where the cream underneath was initially forgotten. When I asked to sort this out, cream was squeezed under the block, but it was far too warm and certainly had nothing to do with confectioner's cream. In a café next to a cemetery, you should surely know what makes good cream quality. Then a ready-made strawberry sauce and not a fresh sauce with strawberry pulp and the usual white chocolate shavings were completely dispensed with. Of course it wasn't expensive at EUR 6.90, but who really likes something like that? Is this an enrichment for the food offering? My wife's currywurst was small - but Dönninghaus's always are - but at EUR 9.90 you could definitely get over a little decoration on the plate. And if the price isn't worth it, then you might be better off paying EUR 13.90 and turning a dish like this into an experience that you can proudly present in a restaurant. Alternatively, perhaps NOT Dönninghaus sausage, as other local butchers also produce good products and homemade curry sauce shouldn't be a challenge. I'll be completely honest: After the experience, I wouldn't dare order higher-priced dishes if such "basics" weren't convincing. The atmosphere outside, so loving. The ice cream menu has a nice design. Everything wonderful. I may be doing you an injustice because other dishes may be really good, but I can only rate what we had. Too bad...

Delicious food, attentive and friendly staff, tasteful ambience. You wouldn't necessarily expect that from the outside, but you were pleasantly surprised! Gladly again!

Our group was warmly greeted and received, of course we reserved a table online and were shown to the table. The memory card was very, very large, and the variety of dishes was very large. We had to wait a bit for the food because everything was freshly prepared. We were surprised by the taste, simply great. Lisa's palm garden is recommended, we will be back.

Der Service war nett und zuvorkommend, das Essen blieb aber erheblich hinter unseren Vorstellungen zurück. Als störend haben wir die Hintergrundmusik empfunden.

Three other customers and a 15-minute wait for two ice creams and a beer. Four employees chatted at the counter. 90% of the ice cream came out as a puddle. €6.90 for an ice cream is reasonable, but not when it's completely melted. The children's ice cream is advertised with chocolate chips, but sold without them. Child disappointed 👍🏻 When asked, they immediately said they no longer offer them, but no one tells you that... This was our second visit, and both times we had to complain about the ice cream... We won't be back.

I highly recommend Lisa's Palmengarten. Not only does the ambiance have a charming feel, the food was also absolutely delicious. When I'd finished my meal and wanted dessert, I asked the wait staff for a cake recommendation. I ended up choosing the homemade mandarin sour cream cake. I enjoyed every bite. You can tell right away that it was homemade, fresh, and prepared with lots of love. Thank you for the wonderful experience. I'd love to come back.

I have had the lunch menu at Lisa's Palmengarten several times and can only recommend it! Very fair priced. Now we had breakfast on a Saturday and unfortunately the service was quite inattentive and the kitchen was slow; We waited over half an hour for a cheese breakfast (consisting of rolls and different types of cheese) and a breakfast of scrambled eggs and bacon. The young waiter who served us didn't clear away our previously used glasses and we sat at our little table in a bit of a huddle. There were only a few guests on site, which is why we couldn't explain the long waiting times. The breakfast itself was okay, but not amazing in terms of taste. Otherwise the young staff is very friendly.

If you want to rediscover slowness, value overwhelmed staff and a below-average price-performance ratio, the Palmengarten is absolutely the right place for you.

Active action is taken against bad reviews here, which are immediately deleted because Lisas Palmgarten cannot handle criticism. I would think twice about supporting something like that. I've already reported my bad experience here with 3 accounts, luckily it doesn't work with Trustpilot and Facebook. Shame on you

I have been to Lisa's Palmgarten several times and have always been satisfied. Whether it was a breakfast buffet on Saturday or dinner during the week, it always tasted good. All employees are very friendly. You can sit well inside and it's nice outside too. There is an adjacent parking lot and there is also street parking. I'd love to come back.

Went there for breakfast on Sunday morning. Extremely friendly staff :-) Lavish breakfast buffet with delicious sausages and cheeses. The side dishes such as salmon, bacon and scrambled eggs were served freshly prepared. The price-performance ratio is fully justified. We're already looking forward to the next time. I would love to give 0 stars for the food! We were there on Saturday with 10 people and had reserved in advance. After quickly selecting drinks and ordering the dishes including mixed appetizer platters, 10 minutes passed before the waiter informed us that only 2 of the 4 appetizers on the menu were there. When these (baguette with aioli and bruschetta) finally came to the table almost 40 minutes later, the following impression: the baguette was a simple wheat baguette, the lamb's lettuce under the bruschetta had roots and was partly already brown and the topping was very sparing. The olives that came with it were from the jar. We waited almost 1 1/2 hours for the following main course and the disappointment grew when it arrived at the table at completely different times (when the first 3 had already had their main course, the rest of us waited another 15 minutes, two people even almost 30 minutes). Here again, hardly any cooking performance: frozen vegetables, hardly any seasoned meat, most of it cold or lukewarm. The dips for the fries were ready-made and definitely not homemade. The Chillimayo I ordered was mayonaise with a splash of chilli sauce on top. What a disgrace! The burgers with “crispy cornflake breading” were simple schnitzels that were topped with 1 slice of tomato and lettuce & 2 slices of cucumber. We then asked the waiter about this service and briefly saw the restaurant manager, who just said “it takes time because they cook everything fresh” (obviously a lie) and “our kitchen is just too small” (why do you use one then? 10p. Reservation on?!). He then disappeared, leaving the still-learning waiter alone. He then brought “compensation” with the bill, but unfortunately he couldn’t say exactly what it was. A drink, probably with alcohol. What he probably didn't see was that none of us had ordered an alcoholic drink beforehand and we had a pregnant woman with us. So out of 10 people only 3 could accept the small drink. In general, it was incredibly cheeky to call this a restaurant, because it had absolutely nothing to do with cooking. We will never come here again.

Unfortunately not good food. The turkey crispy burger with cornflakes breading was just like a turkey schnitzel without cornflakes. There was also a thick tendon in it. 2 of 4 starters were out. The bruschetta and baguette with aioli seemed like this yes baguette to bake, we waited 1.5 hours for our food. There were 9 of us registered weeks in advance and the store was relatively empty overall. The first ones had already finished eating when the last ones hadn't had anything. The vegetables were relatively cold and careless on the plate (seemed like TK Kaiser vegetables without everything). The burgers were very thinly topped. It seems like cheap fast food or cafeteria food but at restaurant prices. Definitely not recommended.

Cozy rooms. Short waiting time. Great menu with a diverse selection. Free parking. Unfortunately, my zucchini fritters were significantly too dark and the accompanying herb quark was missing, but was brought when asked. Likewise my companion's mayonnaise. What was positive was that they offered to pack the remaining pizza slices to take away.
