Lindner Bräu in Bad Kötzting

We went to Lindner's again, this time twice, because the food is simply delicious. There were nine of us, and both times it was packed, but everything ran smoothly. The food was once again very tasty, and the beer was fantastic. The staff, who clearly know their stuff, were still very friendly. The menu isn't extensive, but there's something for everyone. A visit to this charming, traditional restaurant is highly recommended 👍 and the beer garden is also great in the summer. The prices are more than fair.

Here, the (beer) world is still alright at €3.10 for a half-liter 🍺 The service was quick and very friendly. The atmosphere is just right. If you're expecting haute cuisine, this isn't the place. But the food is perfectly appropriate for a beer hall and is excellent in terms of taste, price, and portion size. We come here at least once on every vacation and have never been disappointed – I'm already looking forward to the next time.

A truly quaint and cozy brewery tavern with really good food. The service was super friendly, and we didn't have to wait long for anything to arrive. The decor is typically Bavarian – simply fantastic. The prices for food and drinks were extremely low for us Berliners. A truly wonderful afternoon!

Linder Bräu is always worth a visit for us. The atmosphere is cozy and authentic, just what you'd expect from a good brewery. The service is always incredibly friendly and attentive – you immediately feel welcome. The food is really delicious, down-to-earth, and of top quality. The house-brewed beers are also highly recommended. The value for money is excellent. We always enjoy coming back and can wholeheartedly recommend Linder Bräu to everyone!

We held our company Christmas party there with 40 people and were given a private room for the celebration. The atmosphere was lovely and perfect for the party. Service was quick and without any problems. The food and drinks were excellent, and the price was reasonable. There's plenty of parking right next door. Highly recommended.

We went there for lunch – unfortunately, it was very disappointing. I had been told beforehand that the food wasn't particularly good, but that the ambiance and service were excellent. I personally couldn't agree with that at all. The server was extremely rude, almost snappy – an absolute no-go in the restaurant business. The worst part was when, when I asked if the food could be packed up, she simply threw the aluminum foil on the table – even though there were containers available. I was against leaving a tip, but my husband disagreed and left one anyway. In my opinion, the woman didn't deserve it at all. I will not be going back to this restaurant!

On Friday, November 21st, my husband and I wanted to have lunch at Lindner Bräu. The service was rude and the staff were unfriendly. We will definitely never go there again!!!!

We spontaneously decided to eat here this Friday evening (shortly after 6:30 pm). Arriving at the parking lot, the place is quite inconspicuous and not very well lit (if you're not from around here, you'd think there was nothing there 🤭), we went into the packed restaurant. We asked for a table – "Hmm, difficult... there's one – would you like to sit here?" No. The three of us wanted our own table. We were directed to a floor up. It felt like being in a train station 🙈 We took a seat anyway. When we asked if the food would be served quickly despite the restaurant being full, they said yes. We ordered our drinks from the server. We were told we'd have to pay €2 per person for each change to our order (1x roast pork and dumpling with sauerkraut as listed on the menu, 1x meatloaf instead of fried potatoes and egg with potato salad, and 1x two pairs of bratwurst instead of sauerkraut and bread, also with potato salad) 😱 We'd never heard of such a surcharge before. And since potato salad was also included with other dishes, we didn't think it was necessarily an extra effort, as mentioned. We were about to leave. The server tried to help, checked with the kitchen, and apologized again – it would only be €1 per person per change. So, we stayed. The food arrived quite quickly. However, my husband had almost finished his roast pork (without a crispy crackling) before the meatloaf and bratwurst arrived. With so many people, that's probably difficult to manage. But there was also a separate notice stating that the food couldn't be served to the entire table at the same time. The bratwurst tasted okay, the potato salad and meatloaf were good. Therefore, the price/performance ratio wasn't right. Still not satisfactory for us. Something we hadn't experienced before and found somewhat unpleasant was the presence of a St. Bernard lying right at the entrance to the room...

Good food, fast and friendly service.

If you're near Bad Kötzing, you should definitely eat here. We were here twice this week, and there was a different daily special each day. Every dish we had was incredibly good. We'll definitely be back when we're in the area.

At the beginning, we were asked what we were drinking. We had a little 2-year-old girl with us. A huge glass of apple spritzer was placed in front of us. There wasn't a children's menu at all; unfortunately, nothing was mentioned on the main menu except that the meals were available in small portions for €1 less. The internet lists other dishes, but the truth is, the kids really wanted Kaiserschmarrn, but no, unfortunately, not. I had sauerkraut myself, which was tasty, but unfortunately only lukewarm. They also didn't point out that it wasn't Coke, but Pepsi, which not everyone likes. The dining room was, unfortunately, very bleak.

Beautiful, rustic restaurant. Very cozy atmosphere. The staff was super friendly. The food was delicious. The medallions were unfortunately a bit dry. But the rest was great. The home-brewed beer was a 10/10. We'd love to come back.

A beautifully located pub with a beer garden. We were in the Lindnerfesthalle as an exception because the local club was hosting an Oktoberfest there. It was very nice and cozy. The food was plentiful, and the service was quick and attentive. We'd be happy to come back. Tasty beer at sensationally reasonable prices.

The schnitzel was fried in very old oil and was full of burnt bits in the breading. Even after eating, a burnt taste lingered in my mouth for another half hour. When I raised this issue, the waitress said there was nothing she could do about it. I was completely dissatisfied with the food and the service. What a shame.

We ate here every evening during our vacation in Bad Kötzting. Very friendly service. Very good and varied food with reasonable prices.

We had schnitzel and cordon bleu, which were also good. The fries weren't good with either dish; they were very soggy and had almost no seasoning. Our service was quite overwhelmed and a bit irritated. Unfortunately, the ambiance didn't appeal to us; we were expecting more of a traditional brewery rather than a mass-market experience. A bit of a shame. It was a good one, the prices are really reasonable, and the beer tastes delicious.

We were here for lunch today. Where do I start? Plenty of parking. We got a seat right away. The service was incredibly friendly and prompt. The food was fresh and served at our table in 15 minutes. Huge portions and it was very, very good. We were absolutely thrilled. The bill for five people was €115. Simply perfect. Highly recommended.

I was there with my family and we had a very rude waitress and we weren't able to eat together at the table. She had forgotten one dish and we reminded her where it was. She said it would be here in a minute, then the dish was served to someone else and we had to wait again, so we waited another hour and a half for the whole meal and other new people were served so quickly by the other waitresses. We have never experienced anyone so slow and rude, even though we go there often. She has missed her calling.

Nice beer garden, good food, excellent beer.

Cordon now comes without salad. The €2.90 side salad is over half fresh seasonal vegetables, obviously canned beans. And there's no potato salad in it anymore. Otherwise, no change, justifiable price increases, unfortunately accompanied by the aforementioned quality deterioration.

I have rarely experienced such unfriendly service. After ordering, we changed tables (it was getting more and more crowded) and we had to listen to a long lecture. I have never experienced such an unfriendly reprimand.

We were here on vacation and on recommendation, the service was nice, friendly, and accommodating! My husband had Obatzten (a kind of sausage) and he loved it. My son had Cordon Bleu with fries, which he thought was too tough. I had creamy roast beef with dumplings. The dumplings were amazing, the sauce was amazing, the meat was good, and the portions were generous! The prices are really reasonable! The beer garden is great, with plenty of parking, and what I really like are the changing daily specials. All in all, it's worth a visit.

The food is highly recommended. The staff was very friendly. My grandchild even got an extra portion of lemon juice with her schnitzel. They also made every effort to always find us a spot for three people plus a large dog without a reservation. (The beer garden was always full)

We, two couples in our mid-50s, were in the beer garden on a Monday evening. The weather was beautiful, but we were lucky and found a spot. However, if you're coming with several people, it would be advisable to make a reservation in advance. Food: - Italian pasta salad: super delicious, a different salad option, especially in this hot weather - Venison ragout and roast pork: both also very tasty Beer (also non-alcoholic) is available from the brewery. The food also arrived very quickly, about 15 minutes. Service: attentive, but also very busy - just shout out loud, and they'll be there 😉 Conclusion: 👍👍👍 We'd love to come back!

A beautifully located inn with a rustic beer garden. The light beer was fantastic, as was the breaded schnitzel. The broccoli soup was perhaps a bit over-seasoned. Fast service. Very good value for money.

After a long time, we visited here again. We were absolutely thrilled the first time. There was no room, so we were allowed to sit at the regulars' table, where everyone sat close together. Everything was perfect there: the service, the taste, and of course, the value for money. We were very happy to be back today. We found a cozy spot in the beer garden. We received a quick and friendly welcome. The drinks and food were also served quickly, given the number of guests. The taste was once again truly amazing. The prices are still absolutely fantastic for the quality. I recommend a visit to Linder Bräu to everyone. We will be back.

Good food and good beer at fair prices

Great atmosphere, great beer and delicious food! We really enjoyed it, highly recommended!

We were in the area for a week of holiday and stone Butter Bahn Displays on our first night. We were so impressed. We ended up eating there four or five times. It was often very busy but we never had issue finding a table without a reservation. Food is excellent, one of the few places with real homemade Spätzle. Service isn't always the most "friendly" but that seems to be cultural to the area because it seems the same everywhere. They were however very quick and attentive. I would recommend anyone in the area should stop by.

I have a few negative points: - We had three different dishes, and they came one at a time. The first one was almost ready when the last one arrived. And that wasn't just the case at our table. - The fries with the schnitzel were cold, not even lukewarm. - Ordering was only possible online, which isn't a problem for us, but the menu lacks children's dishes, or rather, the choice is limited to a portion of fries or pasta with sauce. Now for the positives: - The staff was friendly. - Nice atmosphere. - The food was good (except for the cold fries) and reasonably priced.

A traditional establishment with excellent cuisine and a truly cozy beer garden—all underscored by the 🔝 service staff. We visited twice during our short vacation.

My impression of Lindner Bräu today isn't good. You sit down on a bench and then get yelled at from afar that you won't be served at that table. We won't be visiting that place again.

Delicious food at very fair prices. The roast was juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. That's how it should taste.

It was very nice there today, we'll be back tomorrow to have something to eat, although the Swiss Wusa was already delicious!! But I was told that the Cordon Bleu should be great, so see you tomorrow 👍😄😄

The brewery is in a great environment, so you can enjoy nature wonderfully. Unfortunately, my visit was in winter, so eating it in the garden was not possible - but I can well imagine that it is really beautiful there in summer. The staff was very hospitable and looked after the guests attentively. The menu offered a wide variety of different dishes and the prices were absolutely fair. I was particularly impressed by the quick and fresh preparation of the food. The food was not only visually appealing, but also tasted excellent - a real treat! Recommendation: Schnitzel “Viennese style” Oven-fresh roast pork with dumplings and cabbage Conclusion: A great brewery with delicious food and fair prices – absolutely recommended!

We were there on Ascension Day. Despite the crowds, the food was served incredibly quickly. I was pleasantly surprised by the portion size. It also tasted excellent. Despite the stress and the crowds, the service was always friendly. Thank you so much – I'll definitely be back!

I was at the Lindnerhalle for the 60th anniversary of the Realschule (secondary school). The service was fast and friendly. However, the food was absolutely not recommended for vegetarians. They only served cheese spaetzle for over €13, and the fat they used tasted old and rancid. Alternatively, I could have had a large pretzel with cheese, and that would have been it. Quantity is definitely more important than quality. I wouldn't go to this place again unless it's for a party.

We wanted to go out for a nice meal and had therefore made a reservation. When we arrived there was no table reserved and they wanted to sit us somewhere. We were lucky that someone stood up at a table that wasn't so great and was downgraded! When I complained about the reservation, I was told that she hadn't written it down at all because you didn't reserve for 4 people, so you just sit down somewhere. For me an atmosphere of quick processing of customers and unfriendly! The food wasn't that great either, spaetzle tasted like water... I wouldn't do it again because it's too much money for me.

Great food and ambience. but what is expected of the staff is simply not possible. Too many guests per employee. The waitress sometimes runs to the tables and you just feel sorry for them. Of course, as a guest you will only be processed as quickly as possible.

Had lunch there for the first time today. There was a lot going on... the oven-fresh pork knuckle was good, the dumpling and the sauce were delicious. Beer prices top. The only thing that bothered me was that there wasn't a sharp knife 🔪 for the pork knuckles, the waitress apparently forgot it, so we got one in the kitchen. Service could be a little friendlier, otherwise okay.
