Gasthaus Zur Klause in Bad Kötzting

Sind hier im Urlaub und waren unterwegs,da sind wir dort eingekehrt und haben alles richtig gemacht, super leckeres Essen zu günstigen Preisen, waren sehr erstaunt 😲 fahren dort auch wieder hin !!!Sehr zu Empfehlen!

In diesen bayrischen Wirtshaus und schönen Biergarten, haben wir im schönen Biergarten am Tisch gegessen. Wir waren hier mit vier Erwachsenen und drei Kinder Essen. Der Biergarten ist sehr schön und die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam, das Essen war sehr lecker und schnell am Tisch. Es war ein Schönes Abend essen in diesen Biergarten haben wir das Essen und trinken genossen. Wen wir mal wieder in der Nähe sind, kommen wir wieder zum Essen vorbei.

Tolles Essen 🥘 und freundliche Chefin. Vor allem durchgehende warme Küche. 😍 Einziger Wermutstropfen die Fliegen, aber dafür ist man ja auf dem Land.🤷‍♀️ Nachtrag 08.08.2026 Leider sind die Bratkartoffeln von der Karte verschwunden. Pommes 🍟 kann ich auch bei MC Donald essen. War glaube ich das letzte Mal hier. ☹️ Schade

Sehr schöner Biergarten und Gegend. Das Essen Backhendl und Salat war sehr lecker, die Portion war ordentlich. Die Bedienung war nicht sehr aufmerksam. Man musste sich bemerkbar machen, um etwas zu bestellen. Leider ist keine bargeldlose Zahlung möglich.

Nette Ausflugsgaststätte mit super Ausblick. Die Speisen und Getränke sind hervorragend. Das Personal ist freundlich und flink.

Sehr freundlicher Service und auch sehr gutes Essen. Leider muss ich einen Punkt abziehen da meine Roulade innen kalt war.

Sehr leckeres Essen (vielfältige Karfreitagskarte - dafür nochmal 5 Sterne), extrem freundliches Personal, tolles Ambiente, sehr schöner Biergarten. Äußerst empfehlenswert.

Ein wunderschöner Platz gerade bei Sonnenschein. gemütliche Gaststätte

Essen war sehr lecker. Aussicht und Lokal sind sehr schön und passen zum Ort. Wir waren zu Siebt dort. 2 Personen hatten schon aufgegessen da hatten die Kinder noch immer nichts auf dem Tisch. Die Vorsuppe kam nach den ersten Hauptspeisen. Und der Braten zu guter letzt Lauwarm.Man sollte doch bei einem halb vollen Lokal schaffen einen Tisch zusammem zu bedienen. Wir kommen trotzdem wieder.

Schönes, gemütliches Gasthaus mit guten Gerichten, netter Bedienung und einer herrlichen Lage auf einer Anhöhe neben einer Wallfahrtskirche - dementsprechend auch mit Biergarten! 👍

Urige Wirtschaft mit gutem Essen zu annehmbarem Preisen. Nette Bedienung. Man kann auch draußen sitzen.

We ate pork loin there, incredibly tough. The side salad was totally sour 😡. Not recommended. One guest even brought his food back.

The food wasn't particularly high quality. I thought you couldn't go wrong with a Wiener Schnitzel. Unfortunately, I was wrong. The meat was tough and fatty and tasted overwhelmingly of pork. Unpleasantly so. My partner ordered a plain turkey schnitzel but received a whole breaded turkey fillet. The potato wedges were quite tasty, and the fries were okay. The potato salad tasted mainly of pickles and vegetable broth. The dressing tasted very much like it came from a packet. Unfortunately, it wasn't good enough to go back or recommend to anyone. The only redeeming feature is the location, with its nice view.

The food, the service, the grounds, and the atmosphere were truly fantastic. It's a family-run business, and you can tell they put their heart and soul into serving, cooking, and running the place. The staff and the family are simply super-friendly. It's a shame we're already full... We'd love to come back!

The food here is great, so good that I went back with my wife the next day. The location is also wonderful, and the dog loves it, too.

The food is very good, no question about it. However, it's very unusual that you can't order a dumpling with sauce for your child on a holiday. According to the waitress, this is an instruction from the manager. Dear manager, this is not child-friendly, and it's no big deal to serve a dumpling with sauce. Especially since it's included with all the dishes on the menu.

Everything was great. We'll be back.

Very nice beer garden. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't suitable for sitting outside, so we went inside. It's very cozy. There was only one server for a packed room. I was completely overwhelmed. It took a while for the drinks to arrive. Eventually, the food was served. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The dumpling soup tasted bland, the fries were so crispy they jumped off the fork, and the salad dressing was so sour it was almost impossible to eat. The server responded to this with a shrug. "No need." We've eaten there many times, always delicious, but after this time, we probably won't be coming back.

Very good food at reasonable prices. Fantastic setting. We'll be back.

Very nice place. Food is excellent.

Family-run inn located just outside, or rather above, the town with beautiful views of the town and the surrounding area. The food is delicious, the menu is deliberately limited, and the beer is typically Bavarian. Prices range from reasonable to average, depending on the dish chosen, and drinks are considered rather inexpensive these days. Combined with the friendly service, I highly recommend this inn if you're in the area.

Here for the third time today. And what can we say? ✍️. Delicious and generous portions. The roast pork and schnitzel are absolutely delicious. 😋 😋 😋. The service is very friendly and checks to make sure everything is okay. We'd love to come back often, and the view over Bad Kötzting is also very beautiful.

The Gasthaus zur Klause is located on a small mountain, right next to a church. The best thing here is the view. There are parking spaces directly at the restaurant. The service was friendly depending on the environment. I had ordered a crusty roast without cabbage, and of course one came with it. After I said this, I got the roast again, without the cabbage. It should be noted that at least the plate was fresh and the sauerkraut wasn't just lifted off the plate. The meat was an end piece, much too fatty even for a roast. The sauce was at least stretched if not made entirely from an instant powder.

The restaurant is located on a hill above the town of Bad Kötzting and offers beautiful views of the surrounding area. The restaurant has a friendly and relaxed atmosphere in the typical Bavarian style, which is also reflected in the food served. The service is pleasant and quick. The food is excellent. After the main course, we treated ourselves to their cream puff for dessert. We had never seen it so delicious and so big at the same time. :-) If you are looking for real Bavarian hospitality and gastronomy, you should not miss this inn. The only disadvantage – card payment is not possible.

The cordon bleu was fine But the roast pork including the sauce was catastrophic.

Rarely have I experienced such a view, such good food, such a clean restaurant and rarely experienced such great hospitality. You just feel like you're at home.

Excellent crusty roast and turkey schnitzel with sweet potato! fries, served by a very friendly (and pretty) waitress. Perfect after a great day of skiing!

We were here for the first time and only in the afternoon for coffee. Everything was fine, the service (landlady?) was very friendly. The cream puffs were great. The tavern is as you would imagine a tavern to be: cozy (and not fancy). Maybe we'll come by again, about 150 km away.

Today we were here in the beer garden for the first time, the food was perfect and the price was reasonable. No question we'll be back. We've come to eat several times now. We were served quickly and the food was perfect.

Fantastic location, delicious food, children's playground, large parasols in the beer garden, cozy inn and super clean toilets. What more could you want? Until now we have always been at peace. But today the schnitzel with fries was actually unreasonable. small breaded pieces of meat, lukewarm fries and the Schäufele, tough and dry sauerkraut, two tablespoons and the salad with the schnitzel was 1 piece of tomato and 4 leaves of lettuce. Conclusion very disappointing.

Down to earth in everything, friendly, you feel welcome! The food is very good, the prices are reasonable and, above all, it's very comfortable to sit outside in the beer garden with a view!

Beautiful beer garden with a great view of Kötzting and the surrounding area right next to the pilgrimage church with good snacks and equally good warm dishes. Parking spaces available directly behind the church. Staff very friendly and considerate. Rustic guest room, toilets very clean. Always happy, spontaneous visits are no problem.

We were there for coffee and cake, everything was wonderful. The cream puff is highly recommended. But the cheese cream was also great.

The location on the mountain is great. The beer garden is already there and the tavern inside is really nice. The service was also top and so was the food. Was totally satisfied.

Ordered eggnog cake (2 pieces with cream and eggnog) to take away today. The waitress told us she only had 1 piece left, but she also had nut cake. We agreed. When leaving the inn we noticed that there was still cream eggnog cake in the counter. When we opened the package at home there were 3 pieces of nut cake made from sponge cake and 3 pieces of other sponge cakes in the package, with an indefinable taste. The two varieties were really soggy and stroppy. We were very disappointed. That's why we can't recommend this restaurant.

Die Knödel waren kalt und sehr kompakt und das Blaukraut schmeckte fad. Die Kässpätzle waren gut, jedoch war die Portion relativ klein. Die Bedienung war zwar nett, jedoch nicht sehr aufmerksam. Dafür, dass relativ wenig Gäste da waren, mussten wir ziemlich lang auf unser Essen warten.

Nettes Gasthaus mit schönen Ausblick und Biergarten. Gerichte sind solide, wobei ich das Klausnerschnitzel nicht empfehlen kann.

Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Für Hunde sind wassernäpfe bereit gestellt und wird sofort angeboten. Wir haben einen Schweizer Wurstsalat und einen Wurstsalat bestellt. Beides war sehr lecker und für 8.50 war die Portion sehr gut und man war satt. Dazu reicht man uns frisches Brot. Augustiner Bier gibt's als Höhepunkt für den steilen Anstieg auch obendrauf. Mit 24.50 für 2 Essen und 2 Getränke kann man nichts sagen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
