A little hard to find, but it was worth the effort. Excellent, friendly service. The sushi was beautifully presented. Although it was a bit chilly inside, the food was delicious. We'll be back.

I was there today with my family and we really enjoyed everything. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. There's a wide variety of dishes to choose from and the food is delicious. I highly recommend it. The staff, especially the young lady, were very attentive and friendly despite being very busy. We were there with children and were pleasantly surprised to find a special play area for them. We loved everything, I recommend it to everyone, and we'll definitely be back soon!

Today was my first time visiting Lam-Dong Bistro with my wife. It was extremely clean, with fresh ingredients, perfectly seasoned, and quickly prepared (even the soup wasn't served from a large pot). The young waitress was very friendly. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys Asian food. Fantastic value for money.

The Lam Dong Chinese Restaurant is simply fantastic! The food is fresh, delicious, and authentic – the Chinese dishes and sushi are a real highlight. The selection is extensive, so there's something for everyone. What makes this restaurant special is the small children's play area. While the children play, parents can enjoy their meal in peace – simply perfect for families! The staff is very friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is pleasant and inviting. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it!

The food is good. But the wait for pickup is terrible! We were told a pickup time of 8:20 p.m. We arrived at 8:15 p.m. We understand a little wait, but when the food arrives 40 minutes late, it's too long!

We had a fantastic experience at Lam Dong! The outstanding quality of the food is particularly noteworthy. The sushi was fresh, creative, and simply outstanding. The pho bo was a sensation—an authentic, rich, and incredibly delicious soup that you don't find often. The great food was complemented by wonderful service. The staff were extremely friendly and patient and made us feel very welcome. It's important to note that this is not a fast-food restaurant. Since everything is prepared fresh with care, it may take a little longer. But every bite proves that the wait is absolutely worth it! We will definitely be back and highly recommend Lam Dong.

The food was first-class. One of the best Asian/Thai restaurants in the area. The service was incredibly friendly, personable, and accommodating. We had a very good meal here, and we really enjoyed it. Since neither of us is a big eater, we packed up the large leftovers and took them with us. The service was very friendly and competent, and the value for money was also good. I highly recommend this restaurant in every respect.

The food was pretty okay and not overpriced. What's incredibly disturbing is this background music... I was in the restaurant for about 50 minutes and the same song was playing non-stop at a deafening volume.

Best Asian in the Cham district

If I could I would give 6 stars!!! One of the best Asian restaurants we've eaten at in recent years. We had Thai curry with vegetables and Pho with beef. Both dishes are very authentic and incredibly tasty. The sushi at the next table also looked very tempting. 🤤

A restaurant that deserves 5 stars. The food is extremely tasty, the portions are large, and the prices are incredibly cheap. I had rice noodles with shrimp, my partner had fried noodles with crispy fried duck. Both dishes under 10 euros. Tastefully. Appetizing. The interior, however, is from the 70s. Although clean, it is no longer up to date. No feel-good atmosphere. If this Vietnamese were in another building there would be a hail of stars. The music is reminiscent of techno club. The volume was reduced upon request. Inappropriate for a Vietnamese. There was a brief moment without music. A gasp went through the room. Let's take a little trip to Vietnam. Plays soft music from this region. The service was absolutely friendly. However, overwhelmed by the volume of orders. Two more service staff would be helpful here. The place was full. Food was constantly being picked up outside the house. A sign that it tastes good! Conclusion: If you value food, this is the place for you. The ambience, however, is no longer up to date. The service staff is great! February 2025 Unfortunately we lost sight of this place. Today we were there again. There were crispy duck twice, once as a Thai curry coconut milk vegetables and hoisin sauce vegetables garlic. What can I say? We've just come from London. Travel a lot. Know gastronomy from all over the world. This Vietnamese can keep up. The food was great. And all of this was served to us in a friendly and professional manner. A service person that is rarely available anymore. Thank you for the lovely evening. We ate well and had an all-round feel-good program. Unfortunately the music hasn't changed. Eating Asian food here, listening to traditional Vietnamese music quietly in the background and the trip there would be perfect. We will come back and recommend it without reservation. The music has changed now. Now typical country music is played at a pleasant volume. The ambience has also improved positively. The food is still fantastic!

Very good Asian cuisine - yes, a little higher priced like the Asia Drive in Cham, but the taste is also significantly better and - in a positive sense - far from it. With a drink, Peking soup, main course and dessert, we paid a fair €49 for two people. Very courteous young friendly service - always a smile on her face. We are happy to have a restaurant of this kind in our city again. Opening times also matched Maps.

The taste is good but the price is really unreasonable. You pay twice as much as in Cham. Double that! Wonder why you pay almost €12 for baked chicken with rice & sauce, we eat Asian food 3-4 times a week, we just don't come more often because of the prices. In my opinion, Lam-Dong is making a big gamble with the prices because it's the only Asian snack bar in town. Asia Drive in Cham is the best example of how you can make a lot more sales with good prices because everything there is always overcrowded at all times of the day. I would rather drive 15 minutes to Cham even though we would only be 3 minutes away from Lam Dong, I can't approve of the prices.

My dish was good, possibly because it was listed as a "house specialty". Unfortunately that wasn't the case for my husband, the curry sauce was strangely slimy, overall it was like a microwave meal. We ordered hot tea, which wasn't on the menu. The cup size was generous, but given the other prices I wouldn't have expected the cup to cost €3.90. Also you can only pay in cash and we didn't get a receipt. I asked for it and the waitress just told me the menu (for the prices). I'm not a fan of such practices so I can safely say we won't be back. Such a shame, my dish was very good.

A nice restaurant, very good food, super friendly staff!

We had a very good dinner with starter, main course and dessert. The food was fresh, warm, very tasty, the prices were absolutely right, the service was always present and super friendly. The sesame balls for dessert seemed freshly made and very tasty. Plus free fortune cookies. Absolute recommendation. If you wanted to name a very, very small minus, it might be a little cool to sit at the window seat, but that quickly changes with the warm food. Always my pleasure.

We had the Thai Curry M2 twice and were very satisfied!

It's really annoying when you want to order something and no one answers. You never know whether it's open or not... According to the menu from 4 p.m., Google says 4:30 p.m. but you can't reach anyone, so you could at least speak on the phone?! Unfortunately it happens regularly and it's really annoying. 🙄

A small but fine Asian restaurant on the market square! The dishes are delicious and beautifully presented. The different sushi boxes are served on wooden boats or wooden tables, which is a special eye-catcher. The non-sushi dishes are good value for money and the portions are sufficient. The sushi boxes are a little higher priced. S22 party box (see photo, vegetarian sushi plate) costs €35 Unfortunately we have been there several times, but the restaurant was closed 3 out of 4 times :( It's best to call ahead. Nevertheless: gladly again!

There were two of us there today and we were served very tasty food. The extremely friendly service completely fulfilled our wishes. For us, this Asian bistro is a hidden gem. Also big praise to the master chefs in the kitchen. If you're ever in the area, you should eat there and see for yourself.

First of all, the food was again very good. Unfortunately, we didn't get our sushi until after the main course and then had it packed to go. Service completely overloaded with the bar, kitchen and the service itself. This will no longer do justice to the guests; they would rather only offer food to go if the staff shortage is so serious!

Coming here with a few friends and ending the evening with good food is always great. Many of our group are vegetarians and the selection is still incredibly diverse. Almost every dish can be prepared as a vegetarian version, and a very special highlight is vegetarian sushi! The atmosphere is relaxing and the service is always great. We always like to come back!

Opening hours are not always reliable, it is best to make sure by calling before visiting. The service is very friendly and attentive, but the bosses are increasingly neglecting it. Yesterday's meal (rice with crispy duck) was a total failure. Little but very fried duck in lots of breading. Waiting time of around 90 minutes when the restaurant is almost empty is completely unacceptable... everything was worlds better when it opened. Won't go there again, very disappointed.

We had dinner here today with a small group of girls. Without exception, all of the dishes we ordered were delicious. There is also a large vegetarian selection, so no one is left out. Also a really nice interior and pleasant music, which creates a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. And the service was also great, the staff was really incredibly friendly and accommodating. All in all perfect, we can only recommend it and would be happy to come back!!

Wirklich bombastisch gute Küche und toller und zuvorkommender Service. Ich bin was asiatisches Essen angeht echt verwöhnt und schwer zu beeindrucken. Aber Lam-Dong hat es geschafft! Ich werde noch oft dort essen.

Sehr leckeres Essen. Suppe und Sushi. Jederzeit gerne wieder. Aufgrund des allgm Servive-Personal-Mangels sollte man etwas mehr Zeit einplanen. Lohnt da Essen Mega.

Haben zum Mitnehmen bestellt. Tom-Kha-Gai und Sushi. War alles gut und frisch. Wartezeit nur 25 Minuten. Preis-Leistung passt auf jeden Fall. 4/5 Sterne weil ein bisschen Luft nach oben bleibt.

Das Ambiente ist ok, Essen mega mega lecker. Es gibt leider nur zwei Punkt für den Service. Die Freundlichkeit ist da, jedoch wirkt die Bedienung sehr unbeholfen, was sich dann auch auf die Austeilung der Speisen auswirkt. Der Hauptgrund aber ist, dass wir schon einige male versucht haben, telefonisch etwas zu bestellen, dies aber noch nie klappte, da einfach keiner ans Telefon geht, egal zu welchem Tag oder Uhrzeit man es versucht.

Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut allerdings war jetzt schon öfter geschlossen wärend den Öffnungszeiten.

Zu Bildern sind wir leider nicht mehr gekommen. War absolut super lecker, ich hatte Sushi und mein Mann die gebackene Ente mit Reis. Geschmack war wirklich hervorragend, die Menge großzügig. Preis-Leistung somit tip-top! Zudem noch eine sehr freundliche Bedienung. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Das einzige Problem an dem Laden ist, dass er Personalmangel hat, ansonsten wären die super schnell und tüchtig

Das Ambiente war in Ordnung, aber noch ausbaufähig. Der gewisse asiatische Touch hat hier gefehlt. Die Bedienung war äußert freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war gut und auch die vielen verschiedenen Gerichte und Sushi-Variationen können hier punkten. Das Sushi war frisch zubereitet.

Sushi sieht optisch toll aus, schneckt aber nicht besonders gut.
