Limoni Ristorante in München

It's better than most of the ristorantes I've experienced in Italy. I visited with a little alcohol in my stomach, so I can't guarantee the accuracy of my taste, but I was personally overwhelmed by the duck breast.

This is a really nice Italian Restaurant. The place looks great, the staff are very nice and the food is of very hight quality. It should be noted that the menu doesn't contain that many dishes, and that the prices are higher than most italian restaurants in Munich. I've had the spaghetti aglio e olio. It's a delicious simple dish, but I always wish they would put more on my plate ! Especially if I'm paying 18€50 for it. Good thing they bring you some very good bread and olive oil beforehand.

I celebrated my birthday here with a few friends. I'm really picky, but everything was simply perfect: the food (wonderful menu), the drinks, the service, the ambiance. And all without the frills that are unfortunately sometimes encountered in Munich. The prices are reasonable for the quality. Definitely one of my absolute favorite restaurants.

Nice restaurant, but the food was disappointing in every way. The starter, "tuna in a sesame coating," tasted poor. The main course, linguine with scampi, wasn't any better and was a complete disappointment. The dessert, "crepette with coconut," was beyond words. Three small rolls with a side of pineapple...not a taste highlight. Overall, the portions were very small and the price was way overpriced. The service was rather distant and not particularly welcoming. First and last visit.

Top service, fabulous food, stylish atmosphere!

To put it simply, I just like going out to eat. And if the food is a little more exclusive, even better. The Limoni restaurant is probably one of the insider tips in Munich/Schwabing. Here the boss welcomes you personally and you are then shown to the table in a friendly manner. The food is excellent. The service too. The only weak point during my visit was that there was no Cola Zero. It actually went out. It can happen, but not at 7 p.m. when the restaurant hasn't had a big rush yet. But that's the only thing. What should be particularly emphasized is that the problem with the parking lot has been well solved. Because the Limoni has its own underground car park. This is sensational. And that alone is enough for me to definitely come back.

Dieses kleine aber feine italienische Restaurant in München-Schwabing (unweit der U-Bahn-Station Universität) verspricht ein großartiges Erlebnis. Von außen eher unscheinbar, besticht das Innere durch ein modernes und stilvoll eingerichtetes Ambiente. Der Service durch das durchweg geschulte Personal ist kompetent und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Auch die Speisen die hier zubereitet werden munden vorzüglich und hinterlassen einen exzellenten Eindruck der gehobenen Küche. Die Weinkarte bietet eine tolle Bandbreite italienischer Weine und ganz nebenbei kann man noch etwas Italienische Lebenskultur aufsaugen. Alles in allem ist es wie ein kleiner Ausflug in das Land wo die Zitronen blühen …

Top class, very attentive service. We'd love to come back.

Good cuisine in a beautiful and elegant restaurant. Unfortunately, the management of the restaurant lost control (accepted too many reservations?), and constantly berated and yelled at the entire staff, right next to us. Very uncomfortable. Unfortunately there was also a large group of Americans who were extremely loud (but that's not the restaurant's fault). It's a shame to have such a bad experience on my birthday.

A wonderful evening at Limoni! A nice table right next to the entrance. But there was a bit of a drag and our attentive waiter then closed the door - everything was perfect. Teaching delicious crispy pulpo and stuffed pumpkin tortelloni. Plus a great Arneis from the very nice wine list… In between there was a surprise from the kitchen: pasta with calamari - thank you very much - was great! The main course was pasta with white truffle - expensive, but top quality and taste!

10/10 - the food, atmosphere and the service was excellent. An Italian island in Munich. Highly recommended, especially for events and family gatherings.

Limited menu, but the food was good. I was attended by two waiters, one of which was very polite. However, the sheer lack of manner in the other one is inexcusable. Aggressively waving (especially after I failed to act at the first wave) at me to follow him to the available table is but one example. Tired or not, one does not simply behave in such a manner. Snobbish establishment if you ask me. Overpriced as well.

Very nice and funny staff & super delicious food!

We were there with our son who ordered pasta. These were relatively okay in taste, nothing special. However, there were two types of pasta that were found on the menu. My son's portion was very small, so if you're very hungry, you should order a starter and a dessert. As adults we ordered fish - branzino -. We would have to wait quite a long time, which is understandable since we had a big fish for two. I liked the fish and would have liked the waiters to remove the grettes in front of us. The vegetables included were a very small cauliflower floret, a spoonful of spinach, a spoonful of mashed potatoes, a carrot each and zuchini mini sticks. I would have liked more vegetables and more color on the plate... The atmosphere was depressing for me personally. What I liked was the Italian music and the welcome reception had various types of bread and crustina on the table.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden, sowohl mit dem Essen, als auch dem Service bei nettem Ambiente. Das Restaurant war an einem Dienstag Abend voll. Man sollte deshalb einen Tisch reservieren. Von großem Vorteil sind Tiefgaragenplätze, weil außerhalb kaum Parkplätze zu finden sind. Bei Wahl eines 5-Gängemenüs mit Getränken muss man mit 100.- €/Person rechnen. Damit gehört das Limoni zu den hochpreisigen Italienern in München. Das Menü begann mit einem Amuse-bouche. Sowohl das Teiggericht, als auch der Fisch waren hervorragend. Das Roastbeef war leider geringfügig zäh. Der Nachtisch machte es wieder gut. Die schlechteren Bewertungen hier stammen aus früheren Zeiten. Vielleicht war damals ein anderer Koch tätig.

We had a wonderful time here There was not only amazing food but it was right across from our hotel. The service was fabulous and we even got to try some of their homemade lemoncello We loved every minute of being there and I would absolutely go back there anytime and would recommend it to anyone visiting. Everything we tried on the menu was delicious and it was a great place to celebrate my birthday They treated me really specially and even let me make ridiculous jokes.

Food and drinks were okay, but in my opinion the prices were significantly too expensive for what was on offer. You can find comparable or better things in Maxvorstadt at lower prices. The service was great when we were there. I can therefore not recommend it.

Easily the best Italian restaurant in Munich and very nearly the best restaurant in Munich. Have never had a bad meal here, and the staff is wonderful. Highly recommend anything and everything they offer. Also a bottle of their somewhat exclusive 'Vento' is always a good choice.

There were 7 of us. I was really disappointed with the service. A waiter insulted me in Italian because I ordered an empty plate. The food was ok but the service was never again and the head waiter had no idea how to be friendly with the guests.

Luego la pasta principal de plato con scampi de nuevo fue simplemente increíble. Cada plato estaba muy bien presentado y también delicioso. Y nuestro camarero, un tipo maravilloso de Calabria, era probablemente uno de los mejores camareros que hemos tenido en un restaurante. Te animo a que vayas allí... no te decepcionarás. Pude ver que estaba lleno de mucha gente local que debe volver una y otra vez . . no un lugar turístico.

This was our favorite restaurant in Munich one of our top 3 in all of Germany. The pasta appetizer with asparagus and truffle was outstanding! And the other appetizer of asparagus with prusscruito and a special sauce was also amazing. For the entree we had linguini with prawns. . again, just wonderful. I can't say enough about our waiter. . I don't have his name but he said he was from Calabria. . we sat in the back corner by the winder. . .he was one of the best waiters we've ever hadi! So on target in his recommendations and so friendly. Really, this is the place to go if you're looking for a top notch dinner. . and the restaurant was full of locals. . not a tourist trap place.

a small but cozy restaurant, everything is very tasty, and the owner of the restaurant himself comes up to take orders and has a nice conversation with you, and then comes up and asks what you liked and what you didn’t, bravo to that owner, all the employees give their best 100% respect 👍

We recently visited this restaurant with six colleagues for an evening dinner. Surprisingly, the interior is more spacious than it appears from the outside, yet it maintains a modern and elegant ambiance. The service was remarkably adaptable, providing an excellent assortment of appetizers which came highly recommended. Our group included a vegetarian, and the restaurant accommodated us beautifully with a variety of delicious dishes. They also boast an impressive wine list. The lamb was exceptional, and the pasta was unmistakably high-quality. We were pleasantly surprised by two "greetings from the kitchen"—small intermezzo dishes that were delightful. Overall, this restaurant comes highly recommended. It's in the higher price category, but it's well worth it. We definitely plan to return.

Die Küche hat uns hier trotz Empfehlung leider garnicht umgehauen.... Fand irgendwie nichts besonderes in der Karte,so dass ich mir erlaubte eine klassische Aglio e Olio zu bestellen,aber hätte ich lieber sein lassen Der Ober hatte sich zwar typisch italienisch freundlich verhalten aber so,als ob wir uns schon mehrere Jahre kennen würden! Als mein Mann sein Hauptgericht bekam,war dieser Teller so dekoriert als wären wir noch in den 80iger Jahren. Ich weiss echt nicht ob wir Pech hatten aber unser Laden wird es nicht werden

Impressed with Limoni's food way back in 2018, so we decided to visit again last night to celebrate a milestone -- was rather sorely disappointed. We ordered 2 appetizers: Octopus (overcooked, tough) with Prawn Tempura and Beef Carpaccio (wet). The worst was their Spaghetti alla Chittara with Jacobmuscheln -- scallops were translucent not opaque, obviously very raw. Sending it back did not help matters, it felt like eating jelly, it should have been described as "scallops sashimi". This place has become nothing more than a schickimicki location.

Italiener in München - na und? Freundlicher Empfang! Angenehmes Ambiente! Zuvorkommender Service! Ansprechende Speise- und Weinkarten! Aber jetzt kommt's: wir haben noch nie und nirgends in Mitteleuropa so frischen und schmackhaft zubereiteten Meeresfisch bekommen und gegessen! Traumhaft!

The place is cosy and very nice. We ordered beef medallion and aglio e olio. The pasta was beyond al dente and was not tender to chew. They didn't have a variety of starters, main courses, or even desert. I would give it a 3 star for the place and the service but not for the food.

Wow, was für ein toller Abend im Limoni. Ich war lange nicht mehr so gut italienisch essen wie hier. Die Auswahl ist super, die Menüzusammenstellung auch und geschmacklich auch alles top. Extra hervorzuheben ist auch, dass obwohl nur mein Partner das Menü gewählt hat auch ich einen Zwischengang zum Probieren bekommen habe. Das war eine echt tolle Geste! Alles in allem echt top und wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

A very fine Italian restaurant in Maxvorstadt. The quality is excellent and fresh ingredients are used. The taste is very well balanced and the different components harmonize wonderfully with each other. The service is professional, attentive and friendly. Limoni is always worth a visit.

That was really just very good. Ambience simple but dignified. Staff inconspicuous but always present and quick as an arrow. Food and drinks are remarkably good, even by Munich standards. Vegetarians get their money's worth here - still not a given in Munich.

Ein wirklich schönes Restaurant mit einer sehr netten Bedienung mit ausgezeichnetem Service. Das Essen ist sehr gut, aber preislich eher gehoben. Für besondere Anlässe aber definitiv der richtige Ort. Parken ist aber bedingt durch die Lage eher problematisch, daher mit Taxi oder Öffentlichen kommen.

Portionsgrößen absolut nicht ausreichend (selbst bei 3 Gängen). Wer hunger hat sollte vorher noch was essen gehen. Geschmacklich für mich durchschnittlich. Für mich war das der erste und leider der letzte Besuch.

Real good Italian restaurant and one of my „go to“ places. Great service and outstanding food.

Hier bekommt man wirklich ausgezeichnete, italienische Gerichte bei perfekten Service. Die Preise sind aber auch entsprechend. Im vorderen Teil des Lokals saßen wir teilweise recht beengt, im hinteren Bereich war es angenehmer. Es gibt auch einen Schanigarten. Wenn nicht gerade viel Verkehr oder eine Baustelle ist, sitzt man da auch sehr nett.

Vom Amuse Bouche (Lachs auf Randen), über die hausgemachten, feinen Ravioli, die hervorragende Sole und den knackigen Seeteufel bis zum sehr feinen Panna Cotta wurden wir von Domenico und seinem freundlichen Team mit bester Gastfreundschaft verwöhnt. Die Weinempfehlung war gelungen und preislich korrekt. Ein Must in München! Wir kommen garantiert wieder.

Ein ausgezeichnetes italienisches Restaurant! Hatte eine der besten Pasta-Gerichte, die ich jemals gegessen hatte hier. Sehr zu empfehlen sind die Tagliatelle mit Rinderfiletragout. Das Fleisch war sehr zart und saftig. Perfekt Gewürzt und sehr geschmackvoll. Die Pasta war auf den Punkt gegart. Es war perfekt! Als Vorspeise ist das Vitello Tonnato ebenfalls sehr zu empfehlen. Die Bedienung war freundlich und zuvorkommend! Preislich etwas teurer aber bei der angebotenen Qualität von Service, Ambiente und Essen definitiv gerechtfertigt!

Das Limoni ist auch eines der wenigen Lokale, in denen auf der Speisekarte echte Abwechslung geboten wird. Die Küche lässt sich immer wieder was Neues einfallen - einfach Klasse.

If you're looking for a restaurant to show case elevated Italian cuisine , look no further. Our Waiter's recommended suggestions for off menu dishes did not disappoint, in particular the pistachio crusted lamb was sublime. The service is above the usual Munich standard, combining Italian playful arrogance with just the right level of attention. We will be returning!

Gehobenes ital. Restaurant mit Sitzmöglichkeiten draussen und einem sehr schönen Bereich im hinteren Raum des Lokals. Vielseitige Speisekarte mit eher ital. Klassikern die aber alle durchweg sehr gut gekocht und interpretiert sind. Weiteres Highlight ist die umfangreiche und sehr gut sortierte Weinkarte. Highlights: Gefüllte Tortelli mit Trüffel und das T-Bone Steak mit Pilzen und Gemüse….auch die Desserts gut gemacht. Das Limoni gehört sicher zu den besseren der guten italienischen Restaurants in München.

Wenn man einen ITALIENER sucht, der den Unterschied macht, dann ist man hier richtig. Hohe Kunst der italienischen Küche an Fisch, Fleisch und Pasta. Man wird sicherlich nicht enttäuscht. Der Chef ist immer zugegen und kümmert sich persönlich um das Wohl seiner Gäste. Nicht billig aber jeden Cent wert. Das muss einem bewusst sein. Der Service ist überaus aufmerksam, nicht aufdringlich aber immer da, wenn man etwas braucht. Man spürt, dass das Wohl des Gastes den Gastronomen am Herzen liegt. Das Restaurant ist nicht sehr groß, aber trotzdem sehr warm und freundlich sowie edel gestaltet. Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit bei Limoni!
