Liman - Cafe & Frühstück in Wiesbaden

The atmosphere was positive, the prices were reasonable, and the food was plentiful. However, the wait for breakfast was 40 minutes for just two people. The staff was friendly, and everything was prepared in front of you. One negative aspect is the amount of salad on the breakfast plate—no one eats that much salad for breakfast.

We arrived at 10:00 a.m., and breakfast was still available. The staff was very friendly, and the lady who took us in was very accommodating and kind. We'll see how long it takes until we're served. In the meantime, I went to the restroom; I'm impressed; the restrooms were very clean and spacious, not like almost everywhere else, which is dirty and smelly. Now I'm curious to see what breakfast will be like (two oriental breakfasts, one gozleme with minced meat) and a pot of tea for two. First, the pot of tea and a bread basket with various types of bread arrived. Then came the two platters topped with delicacies: good sheep's cheese, sucuk, honey, jam, olives, salad, and much more... The selection was very good. And then came the gozleme with minced meat, salad garnish, and dip, all good and plentiful. We'll be back... 😎

We went there on Saturday for breakfast, or as we would say these days, brunch. 🤓 We chose the Moroccan breakfast, it was very, very delicious, and you get a lot for your money. One of the highlights was the freshly squeezed orange juice, which was so delicious; honestly, everything tasted good! The owner and the staff are also very friendly and attentive.

CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP! - The Liman Cafe was one of my favorite breakfast spots in Wiesbaden. It had great and fast service, and the breakfast was wonderful. The place is now empty: 2 tables, 4 employees, and a 1:15 hour wait for the breakfast tray, plus another 20 minutes until we finally got plates and cutlery. Another 20 minutes until we got our eggs, and the tea had to be served twice – it was cold by the time we got it (by the way, it wasn't a real cayenne pepper, but a mixture of dishwater with tea flavor). Totally disorganized, slow, and incapable of running such a small place with 4 people... The napkins were also dirty, as was the cutlery. It's a real shame. We were also the only table almost the entire time; the surrounding tables weren't even cleared, even though there was no one there, and the overall quality of the food was really poor. It's not a "serious" breakfast either, there was no menemen and no sucuk 👎🏼 I'm sorry I even have to give it a star. I'd prefer to give it minus 5 stars. Find another place for breakfast; if you want to come anywhere close to the standards of the previous one, you're in the wrong place.

We ate Gözleme there with my husband. We actually wanted a normal breakfast but it wasn't available even though it was on the menu. Gözleme was fresh and we enjoyed it, but I can't say the same about the service. The lady who served us gave us the feeling that she didn't want to have customers. A little smile on our faces would have made us feel much better! That's why we won't be coming back

We ordered Gözleme with spinach and potatoes, tea and an omelet. Everything we ordered was terrible! Heated Gözleme in the microwave, absolutely not fresh, dried out! Watery omelette and tea are nowhere near Turkish. And the worst part of all this is the waitress with a dissatisfied, disgusting face who further ruins your stay in this dubious establishment. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!!!

There is a large selection of drinks (warm drinks, soft drinks and freshly squeezed juices), salads, wraps and much more. No matter how busy the store is, you will always be served professionally and quickly. If you're looking for a delicious breakfast, you've come to the right place. The price-performance ratio is absolutely fair.

I was on a training course in Wiesbaden and the next day I found this great, delicious Turkish café on Google. I was very, very enthusiastic about the breakfast. I ordered Gözleme with potatoes and a chickpea salad. That was soooo delicious. Especially the chickpea salad. Because you have to order. For me it's the best salad I've ever eaten. 😍😍😍 What I also think is really great is that they prepare freshly squeezed juices. That wasn't the last time with you. I'll be back. Absolutely delicious breakfast for locals and visitors. They don't speak English but all you have to say is breakfast and coffee. Then sit back and enjoy enough food to last you the whole day. The owners do not speak English, but all you have to do is say “breakfast” then sit at a table and wait for enough delicious food to satisfy you for the rest of the day at a very reasonable price.

I've eaten the Gözleme there several times now, it's really tasty and freshly prepared there. It is served with a small side salad and tzatziki/herb quark with cucumber. For only 7€ you really get full :)

Ich liebe das Frühstück hier. Hier gibt es ein „Serpme“ Frühstück mit großer Auswahl an verschiedenen Käsesorten, Oliven, Salami, Wurst, Sucuk, Ei, Teekanne mit schwarzem Tee inklusive. Was natürlich nicht fehlen darf ist das frisch zubereitete Gözleme.

Trevlig traditionell turkisk kahvalti med långsam service. Fick påminna om kaffet. Fick heller inte juicen vi beställde. Det var bara 4 bord med kunder så vi hade tur att stället inte var fullt. Saknade simit-bröd och bättre urval av ost.

Da wir Früh in Wiesbaden waren und Frühstücken wollen viel unsere Wahl auf das Liman. Von einer freundlichen Bedienung würde uns das Frühstück erklärt und kurz drauf serviert. Mit vollem Bauch haben wir das Liman verlassen und werden als Wiederholungstäter im Liman erscheinen.

Frühstück reichlich. Typisch türkisch. Alles was das Herz begehrt. Sehr nette Bedienung. Im hinteren Bereich des Raumes war es sehr warm, deswegen der Abzug beim Ambiente. Alles in allem zu empfehlen

Das Frühstück ist der Hammer. Ich habe jetzt schon sehr viele türkische Frühstücksmöglichkeiten ausprobiert und liman ist wirklich Top! Frisch und sehr lecker. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis finde ich super und ich komme sehr gerne hierher. Der Service ist immer sehr freundlich und auch die Atmosphäre ist angenehm. Nicht so laut wir in anderen Restaurants. Auch die frisch gepressten Säfte und smoothies sind sehr empfehlenswert.

Music is remixed melancholy music, like some Brave New World trickery where it happily tells you that abusive ex of yours is desirable. The seating is next to a loud street. Most importantly, the coffee tastes like hot water. The staff seem nice though.

Sehr schöner laden. Das Ambiente ist wundervoll und sehr einladend. Man kann sehr gut frühstücken und sich leckere Motivationssäfte frisch zubereiten lassen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Alles wird frisch zubereitet und die Dame am Gözleme-Stand ist auch sehr nett. Ganz klar, eine 10/10.
