A good old inn/pub with great schnitzel and good drinks. Run by junior chef Kai and his mother, the Taunus is fortunately open almost every Friday. The Taunus is part of Erbenheim, just as Erbenheim is part of the Taunus.

A very small rustic family owned neighborhood German pub. Only open Friday evenings. Small menu with good food and drinks. Beer on tap and OK spirits selection. Good prices and service is even better. Atmosphere is like going back in time. A local jewel! Cash only, and a bit of German goes a long ways!

If you want to discover a piece of German history you need to stop by this amazing family owned pub opened for more than 100 years ago and managed for the last 50+ years by the grandson of the original owner. Is always better to call before coming to this place to ask for availability.

It's always lovely here! A nice little pub with a great atmosphere! Besides a hot meal, there's also the opportunity to play billiards and darts... There's also a separate room that I think you can rent. I love going there!

Taunusstraße 49Highly imaginative cuisine with fantastic, interesting flavor combinations. Attentive, friendly service. Excellent wine recommendations. Deserves a return visit.

Leibnizstraße 7Today was our first time at 38Grad. I had reserved a table by phone, which seemed like it wasn't a very common practice (yet), but it worked out perfectly. When we arrived at the thermal baths, we had to find the entrance. A friendly person from the restaurant then led us through a sliding door, and we were shown to the terrace. Making a reservation was a good idea, as the bathers were also taking advantage of the nice weather, and outdoor seating was limited. Inside, it unfortunately has the charm of a typical swimming pool bistro. We embraced it, though, and had a truly excellent meal. The staff was attentive and friendly, and the food was delicious and fresh. You can pay in cash directly at the table, but if you want to pay with a debit card, you have to get a wristband at the swimming pool entrance and load the chip onto it. But I hadn't expected it to be so lovely, despite the crowded pool. We'll definitely be back!
