The world's best veal schnitzel that I tell everyone about (even vegans!!!) With anchovies and capers! I've been going there since 2010 (ok, ok only for the second time...) and NOTHING has changed: The same very good ambience, one of the friendliest service I have ever met, and food that was world class!!! Great evening in the “lila sauce” restaurant. We are 5 adults and had various starters and main courses. The food looked and tasted very good and was freshly prepared. We were more than full. Therefore no dessert. The service is very friendly and attentive. We missed a bit of the common thread on the map. Didn't matter. The main courses change after several days. We would come back if we lived here. For us it was the best restaurant out of 4 tested. If you're expecting a schnitzel with fries, you shouldn't make a reservation. Enjoy it and be open to a slightly different menu

The two of us and our dog went to Lila Sauce and were absolutely thrilled. Nice, cozy atmosphere in a courtyard, incredibly friendly service and all around great food! We didn't want to leave at all. For two people we spent €100 for 4 drinks, 2 starters and 2 main courses including a tip, absolutely reasonable value for money! We would come back in a heartbeat!

Cibo veramente spaziale. Al di sopra di ogni standard di cucina tedesca. Piatti tipici ma rivisitati veramente molto buoni. Servizio super, camerieri molto gentili sia con noi che con il nostro cane. Molto buono anche l’espresso, cosa non scontata in Germania 🙂

A somewhat special restaurant with delicious food, some served in mason jars.

The food was great! The ambience is a bit cold though, uncomfortable chairs and tables. And the waiters seemed a bit busy and took a bit long to bring us the drinks. But they were friendly and nice, and the food makes the place worth a visit.

The Lila Sauce restaurant is charmingly hidden in the heart of Dresden's Neustadt - a real insider tip with a special flair. The atmosphere is relaxed and authentic, with a real “new town feeling”. The menu is original and creative, with a modern, young approach to German cuisine. The dishes impress with their freshness, quality and pleasantly unconventional presentation. Vegetarian options are also imaginatively implemented. The employees are extremely friendly, attentive and well-coordinated - you feel welcome and well looked after. I piatti principali sono scritti sulle lavagne affisse nel locale (ed è meglio se aspettate la traduzione!) altrimenti la carta del menù è già molto interessante e varia. personale giovane e gentilissimo, prezzi onesti.

The menu and daily special has been breathtaking. Uhr variation of tapas sized plates and main dishes for every taste. Vegetarian, fish and meat. All has been tasty combined with care-taking friendly service. Worth checking out!

The two stars are actually only deserved by the very friendly, attentive service staff. The food is disproportionate to the exorbitant price. We can't judge the jars and appetizers, but I think trying a few glasses accompanied by a nice glass of wine could be fun. The main courses, however, don't reflect the price in either the portion size, quality, or creativity. The veal schnitzel with three fried potatoes is average at best and, by comparison, only €2 away from a schnitzel at the trendy Berlin restaurant "Borchardt" (that can't be right, sorry). The vegetarian spinach frikadelle were at best spinach flatbreads, with no substance, no flavor – the cheese sauce, while tasty, was definitely not worth more than €20.

Had a really good meal here lovely cosy place. Ordered their lamb, bolognese and fish the portion is just nice for 4 person sharing! Tasted amazing particularly loved the bolognese. Tried their starter sausage with mango-chill coriander sauce and boy that was delicious! Their mint tea and hot lemon was tasty as well, very warming on a cold day. They are pet friendly as well! Highly recommend this place

Only conditionally recommended. A starter with scallops smelled or tasted too strong for me and didn't smell or taste completely fresh. The veal schnitzel was OK, but nothing more and compared to the other photos here, it was pretty carelessly prepared. I was not offered a replacement for the shell and was charged the full price. Of course you can do it, but it doesn't leave a good taste and there's no 5 stars for that.

Nice little unusual menu, also a lot of vegetarian options. The offerings should probably change often, which I think is great, as people like to come by more often. The restaurant is comfortably furnished, but we sat very closely, almost at the next table, and it was a bit cold. We chose 3 different dishes and shared spaetzle as a starter. Everything was super tasty. The service gets 5 stars, very nice and attentive.

Here you can find small dishes in glasses that are prepared and served in a creatively delicious way using high-quality ingredients. A regularly changing small daily main course menu completes the culinary offering. You need a bit of luck for spontaneous visits. I recommend making a reservation.

Rarely have I seen such an unworthy mish-mash of ingredients. Any cook with a cube would do better. It's hard to believe that anyone in this location could act worse than the "drunk dog" Rainert. Buy cookbooks and don't just try out trends at random...

Wir waren zu 5 während eines Wochenendes in Dresden hier. Angelockt durch den Namen und die Beschreibung bei TripAdvisor. Und wir würden nicht enttäuscht. Hier stimmt einfach alles. Lage, Ambiente, Personal und natürlich das Essen. Roastbeef, das Schnitzel, der Wels und die anderen Leckereien aus den Weckgläsern waren grossartig. Mit liebe gekocht. Auf den Punkt. Uns sehr kreativ. Auch der Nachtisch 1a. Sehr freundlich bedient und alles irgendwie familiär. Wir kommen in jedem Fall wieder und es lohnt sich unbedingt.

We had the purple sauce for lunch this afternoon and absolutely loved it. Most of the food is served in mason jars. “Tapas” in the German style, so you can feast your way through. The pumpkin soup was incredibly delicious. The sweet potatoes with green sauce, as well as pumpkin salad and goat's cream cheese with tomato also tasted delicious. The service was super friendly and attentive. Nice, small restaurant and the food is something completely different.

We drove here specifically before a concert and were looking forward to good food. Unfortunately there was nothing to eat on Sunday at 4 p.m. Unfortunately, the opening times change as promised. No indication of only kitchen at lunchtime and evening...otherwise a very nice location

Very nice location in the middle of the Kunsthofpassage Dresden. Thanks to the nice weather, we were able to sit outside and were treated to some very nice music from the ballet school. The service and food were simply outstanding. Super nice, friendly and attentive team. And the food was just delicious. Great food doesn't need expensive luxury ingredients but a lot of skill and taste in its preparation. Thank you for the very nice evening with you.

The place is very nice. The cuisine is of the fusion variety but refined and of good quality but it was the most expensive place of our entire trip to Germany.

Very nice meal here. The homemade lemonade was very fresh, and the main course well balanced with attention to the vegetables and perfect cooking of the pork. The dessert, a white chocolate parfait, was also well prepared without ice crystals. Service very friendly. Location very cozy. The prices are comparable to what we are used to in Flanders. I've known this restaurant for 8 years, it's still just as good, if anything it's gotten even better, everything is fresh and the owners are super nice.

Nice little restaurant in a great backyard, in the Neustadt of Dresden. Away from the hustle and bustle of tourists, we ate well, watched people in a relaxed manner and then discovered other backyards with unusual shops. There are more young people who live their “punk” style here than in Berlin. We were here for the second time and felt very comfortable again. Only partially recommended for wheelchair users and people with walking difficulties or a walker due to the cobblestones and unevenness.
