Update: Unfortunately the quality varies a lot...the last schnitzel was terrible and the wok vegetables too :-/ Update: I tried it again in the meantime and there were some tasty things. It really depends on the dish and the day. Today, for example, the fried potatoes were great and the schnitzel was very tender. I have now tried several dishes and unfortunately I have to say that the taste of the food (with the exception of one thing) is not for me. I don't like the salad dressing at all, the pea soup was only half pureed and the pea shells were terrible in the mouth. Unfortunately the salmon today was a bit dry and the teriyaki sauce was extremely salty (too bad even for me as a salt junkie). A while ago I had sweet potato fries (too dry inside) and the power ketchup (I didn't like it). It's a shame, because the staff there are very friendly and there is always food.

Unfortunately, after receiving the drink tickets, no one showed up for a long time. We were forced to go somewhere else - somewhere where the service is a little more dedicated. Too bad...

Nice modern bar. Everything attractively done. But 4.10 euros for a Herry is quite steep. Currywurst is available at a reasonable price, otherwise you'll have to dig deeper into your pockets.

The food here is good, but still has a lot of room for improvement. However, criticisms are taken seriously and attempts are made to implement them. The menu is clear, but offers a diverse selection for every taste. It's refreshing that there are no everyday dishes, but rather creative ones. Service and ambience are top and invite you to come back.

Nice location with a large selection of drinks. We recommend trying the beer. We had burgers and fries. Everything very fresh and delicious. The fries could have been warmer, but they had already cooled down a bit, but that didn't hurt the taste.

We were there for the breakfast buffet. Unfortunately the service wasn't that good. There was almost no vegan food. My breakfast therefore only consisted of fruit and vegetables. Oat milk was not available for cereal or hot drinks.

For a bar there was a good selection of food, it also tasted very good and the service was friendly and nice

The burger pattie was twice raw, the cheese on the first burger wasn't melted, the tomato slice was ice cold. On the second burger the cheese was good but the pattie was even rawer. The soda was delicious and was on the house. We left after about an hour and skipped the third burger. The service was attentive and the atmosphere was nice and cozy. We may come back one day but only for a drink.

I had a delicious non-alcoholic cocktail, unfortunately with too many ice cubes, hence a star deduction. The potato and coconut stew from the fall menu was really tasty. The service staff are very friendly and I didn't have to wait long. I'd love to come back. Reservations for weekend evenings are a must or you'll have to be very lucky to get a spot.

Da wir früh dort waren, haben wir noch einen Tisch bekommen, der für später reserviert war. Es empfiehlt sich also unbedingt eine Reservierung Wir waren das erste aber nicht das letzte Mal in der Lieblingsbar.

A very cozy place with really great drinks, good food and nice staff. The menu offers a little more variety and stands out slightly from the run-of-the-mill dishes that we are otherwise familiar with. There is definitely something for everyone! :)

Price performance is right. The menu is changed 3 times a day. Actually you can spend the whole day there. Lots of varied drinks. Just great.

We went to the favorite bar for lunch and really enjoyed it. The burgers are well made and the fries are crispy. The service was great too. All in all, it was a successful lunch and I would recommend this restaurant.

After 2 years in which I spent most of my time in the hospital, I gathered all my strength and invited my friend to dinner for her birthday. Despite the bad experience on the last visit, we both decided on the favorite bar. I have difficulty sitting due to my hemipelvectomy, of course no one cares, but we were the only ones who ordered something to eat, I had a meatball with potato salad, not only did we wait a good 30 minutes for it, but my food was a joke, minced meat fried and potatoes halved and with skin??? I demand more from a good chef, sorry. I still tipped, but I won't try it again

I ordered the veal schnitzel with fried potatoes. The potatoes were fatty and the schnitzel had no taste. This was the most expensive dish on the menu. I thought it wasn't bad but not great either which I would recommend. The burgers were ok too. The meat was completely cooked through even if you asked for a different temperature. The drinks were good.

Yesterday I was there with lovely people for Sunday breakfast. For 20.90 euros, a solid and not too confusing breakfast selection and plenty of hot drinks. It wasn't too crowded and there was a very pleasant atmosphere. I was absolutely blown away by the personal approach and the absolutely friendly, interpersonal interaction of the service staff, including each other. We were looked after extremely nicely. This brightened our day and will be remembered fondly. Always happy when I'm in Hanover.

Asparagus Special May: The rigatoni with asparagus and shrimp for €22.80 tasted delicious, but the portion size for the price is very, very, very disappointing. Just a green stick of asparagus and 10 shrimps were served with the noodles. I had to order more potato pancakes because ice cream and cheesecake were also out. Service is nice, but either too little (6 pax) or too uncoordinated and therefore slow. You have to allow 30 minutes to order a drink. Mojito doesn't taste good at all... toilet paper in the ladies' room was out...

There is a very extensive menu of food and drinks. We came here at coffee time. Unfortunately there was only carrot cake in mini format. In the past there was a selection of cakes in the display case in the entrance. There are some tables with seats in front of the restaurant and on the left side. The waitresses were without exception friendly. The time between ordering and serving is clearly too long. Even a cherry spritzer takes 10 minutes. lasted.

We ordered a schnitzel and a baked potato. We didn't like either. The schnitzel (veal) was extremely tough and fatty. The fried potatoes were cut so thick that they were actually boiled potatoes...unfortunately not crispy enough. We were absolutely not convinced by the taste. The service was very friendly and accommodating.

The food has slowly become a disaster. You forgot to peel the asparagus - the schnitzel is floating in the fat. Grandma's stew is totally tasteless, the food gets worse every year. That's it for us - we won't be coming back

The breakfast buffet was very good. There isn't a huge selection, but you can't expect that given the price. There is something for everyone, even vegetarians. Upon request, fresh scrambled eggs with or without bacon, fried eggs and baked beans were prepared. For €20.90 per person including as many hot drinks as you want, definitely worth it and the price-performance ratio is fair. The waiters are super friendly, nice and competent. The food tasted good and you felt comfortable. A clear recommendation! We will be back!

Went there spontaneously for the first time: very nice and fast staff who served us freshly tapped beer and cool long drinks. We had currywurst and fries. According to our taste, it was not industrial but artisanal food. Conclusion: everything is fine; we'd love to come back. Update: We came back and had a very tasty Herrenhäuser Burger.

We were well welcomed in English (as we don't speak German) and the service was very keen on responding to our requests in adapting the dishes, always with a smile. Food was very good, we took Schnitzels and everything was perfect. We also took a bottle of Rosé suggested by the waitress and it was very fine. We'll come back next time we'll visit Hannover.

As a chef with an eye for something special, I discovered this bar online and was not disappointed. My plan to just enjoy a cocktail quickly evolved thanks to the attentive staff. The local gin was a highlight, but the recommended Limoncello Sour Cocktail – a refreshing concoction with a sour kick – stole the show. Although I didn't explore the menu, the quality of the drinks and service speaks volumes. The bar impresses with its authenticity and creativity, a real delight for every connoisseur. An unforgettable experience that will definitely make me return. b

I ate my favorite currywurst with mayo as a dip; I have one criticism of the curry sauce because it is a bit more “watery”, which I think is because it was freshly prepared and of course mainly consists of tomatoes. With a little salt it definitely had more oomph and the consistency was pleasant. The mayo was absolutely amazing! Unfortunately not as a ready-made sauce to take away, but a huge compliment! Light, small dishes as a snack. Would love to come back. 😊

On Sunday January 28th, 24 I had booked a table at 12:15 p.m. There was still Sunday breakfast. Unfortunately, it was no longer full and when asked, food was only added grudgingly. The reasoning was that too much was being thrown away. Therefore nothing is added. There was very little sausage left and the cheese was dried out. After repeated requests, there were 1-2 rolls that weren't even fully baked. Breakfast itself is offered until 2 p.m. I paid over €20 for this, that's not possible!!! It's been a while since I was last there and I really enjoyed it. This time I was unfortunately very disappointed because it was really stuffy and hot. You could have easily sat there in your bathing clothes. I was there on a Fri. Maybe it's different from Monday to Thursday because it's not quite as crowded, but I don't know. The map is huge and cluttered, so you have to search a lot because it's so confusing. Unfortunately I can't say anything good about the food either. Unseasoned and not as described on the menu. Very unfortunate. Despite all this, the service is great. Everyone really nice. ❤️

Kann die Monatskarte sehr empfehlen mit leckeren saisonalen Speisen. Preis/Leistung sehr gut und riesige Getränkeauswahl.

Schöne Location direkt am Herrenhäuser Markt. Waren zum Frühstücksbuffet hier und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Es ist für jeden etwas dabei, die Portionen an Rührei werden frisch in separater Schale gereicht. Sehr appetitlich und für das Auge ist das Buffet angerichtet. Das Personal sehr aufmerksam und unaufgeregt. Es wird ständig am Buffet nachgelegt. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder, weil wir uns wohlgefühlt haben.

Super Location mit bodenständigen Gerichten und einer sehr großen Auswahl an Getränken. Wir haben Burger gegessen, die geschmacklich sehr gut waren. Leider hatte ich das Gefühl, dass die Patties noch zu kalt waren als sie auf den Grill gekommen sind und dadurch außen kross, innen rosa und insgesamt sehr hart waren. Ansonsten war es ein schöner Abend.
