Guter und freundlicher Service. Sehr schmackhaftes Fleisch, großzügige Portionen. Abwechslungsreiche Speisekarte. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Da ich nicht alle Fleischsorten probiert habe, kann ich nur die Hähnchenspieße bewerten, die ich gegessen habe. Sie waren gut mariniert und sehr lecker. Man kann zwischen türkischem und afghanischem Reis als Beilage wählen. Außerdem gibt es einen scharfen Paprikapastensalat und eine Joghurt-Vorspeise. Insgesamt hat es mir gut gefallen. Allerdings fühlte ich mich etwa eine Stunde nach dem Essen aufgebläht; ich weiß nicht, warum. Vielleicht lag es an den Gewürzen oder der scharfen Soße. Ich kann nichts zum Geschmack oder zur Sättigung sagen, aber die Blähungen sind ein Minuspunkt.

Wir haben das Lezzet Restaurant als Catering für die Geburtstagsfeier unserer Kinder gebucht. Wir haben für 50 Gäste bestellt. Leider wurden wir sehr enttäuscht, da das Essen für 50 Gäste niemals gereicht hat. Es wurde für viel weniger Personen zubereitet. Wir hatten das Glück, dass einige Gäste abgesagt haben und das Essen hat gerade noch so gereicht. Das geht gar nicht!!! Aus Angst haben unsere Familien extra weniger gegessen, damit das Essen für die Gäste reicht. Ansonsten hätten wir sehr schlecht ausgesehen. Außerdem wurden auf den Servierplatten unter dem Reis ganz dicke Brotscheiben ausgelegt, sodass nur wenig Reis serviert wurde. Das mit dem Brot war natürlich nicht so abgemacht. Wir haben wirklich viel Geld bezahlt, weil wir das beste wollten für den Geburtstag unserer Kinder. Es ist wirklich eine Frechheit! Wir bestellen und essen dort nie wieder und ich rate auch dringend davon ab!!!

Es werden keine Karten akzeptiert, Sie müssen bar bezahlen. In der Gegend gibt es einen Geldautomaten, aber für die Nutzung wird eine Gebühr von etwa 7 Euro erhoben.

Das Fleisch war perfekt gewürzt, zart und genau richtig angebraten. • Kabuli Pulao: Das war der Star des Abends. Wir bestellten die klassische Variante und eine zusätzliche Portion mit Kartoffeln und Spinat. Die Aromen waren perfekt aufeinander abgestimmt – ich war absolut begeistert. • Für die Kinder: Wir bestellten die Linsensuppe für unsere Kleinen, und sie kam super an! Eine tolle, gesunde Option, wenn Sie mit der Familie reisen. • Das Getränk: Unbedingt den afghanischen Ayran probieren! Er war unglaublich erfrischend und der perfekte Gaumenreiniger nach dem herzhaften Essen. Service & Atmosphäre: Reisen mit zwei kleinen Kindern kann manchmal stressig sein, aber der Service hier war hervorragend. Wir fühlten uns sehr willkommen und wurden stets freundlich und zuvorkommend bedient. Ein tolles Ambiente für ein Familienessen. Ein fantastisches Abendessen mit authentischen Aromen. Ob Sie nun ein Fan der afghanischen Küche sind oder sie zum ersten Mal probieren, das Lezzet ist definitiv einen Besuch wert. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Wir waren afghanisch essen und waren wirklich positiv überrascht. Die Küche ist unglaublich aromatisch und vielfältig. Besonders der Mix-Grill war ein Highlight: saftiges Fleisch, perfekt gewürzt und schön gegrillt, dazu knusprige Pommes und Reis – eine richtig gute Kombination. Auch die Vorspeisen haben überzeugt, vor allem die gefüllten Teigtaschen mit Linsen und Joghurtsoße – sehr intensiv im Geschmack und angenehm würzig. Das Reisgericht mit Karotten und Rosinen war ebenfalls sehr lecker und typisch afghanisch – eine spannende Mischung aus süß und herzhaft. Die Portionen waren großzügig, man wird definitiv satt. Das Ambiente war entspannt und das Personal freundlich. Insgesamt ein sehr authentisches Erlebnis mit einer Küche, die man nicht jeden Tag isst. Klare Empfehlung für alle, die etwas Neues ausprobieren wollen!

Ich habe kürzlich im Lezzet Restaurant zu Mittag gegessen und es war einfach köstlich! Ich hatte die Suppe als Vorspeise, die sehr geschmackvoll und aromatisch war. Als Hauptspeise genoss ich Qabili Mahicha, das perfekt zubereitet und äußerst herzhaft war. Die Atmosphäre war einladend und der Service freundlich. Ich kann dieses Restaurant jedem empfehlen, der auf der Suche nach einem guten afghanischen Restaurant in Essen ist. Ein wirklich tolles Erlebnis!

War heute bei Lezzet in Essen und bin wirklich begeistert. Das Essen war frisch, geschmacklich top und sehr schön angerichtet. Besonders überzeugt hat mich die Qualität der Zutaten man merkt sofort, dass hier mit viel Sorgfalt gearbeitet wird. Der Service war aufmerksam, freundlich und schnell, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Auch das Ambiente ist modern und sauber, sodass man sich direkt wohlfühlt. Klare Empfehlung für alle, die gutes Essen und eine angenehme Atmosphäre schätzen. Ich komme definitiv wieder.

Das afghanische Essen war einfach fantastisch! Die Aromen waren authentisch, perfekt gewürzt und man hat sofort gemerkt, dass hier mit viel Liebe und Tradition gekocht wird. Jeder einzelne Gang war ein Genuss – besonders das Fleisch war unglaublich zart und aromatisch. Die 200 km Anfahrt haben sich absolut gelohnt und ich würde den Weg jederzeit wieder auf mich nehmen. Wer echtes afghanisches Essen erleben möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Absolute Empfehlung!

Das Restaurant mit afghanisch türkischer Küche ist von Ambiente her nicht ein gehobenes, aber das Essen kann sich mit allen top Restaurants messen. Moderate Preise und dafür super leckeres Essen. Wir hatten die gemischte Grillplatte afghanischer Art, die es ermöglicht, verschiedenes auf einmal zu probieren und es hat alles sehr gut geschmeckt. Der Reis, welches als Beilage dabei ist, war so lecker und reichhaltig. Ich kann das Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen.

Das Persönliche war äußerst unhöflich, insbesondere die Dari sprechenden Kellner. Sie wollten uns in den hinteren Teil des Raumes setzen, was wir in der Lage waren. Daraufhin beleidigten sie uns und sagten eine Menge Unflätigkeiten. Wir wurden gezwungen zu gehen. Es ist nicht möglich, dass eine Person eine Person ist. Es ist mir wichtig, dass ich Ihnen die Möglichkeit gebe, Ihnen die Möglichkeit zu geben, Ihnen zu helfen Das ist nicht der Fall. Das Personal war sehr unhöflich, besonders die Dari sprechenden Kellner. Sie wollten uns nach hinten in den Raum bringen, aber wir weigerten uns, woraufhin sie uns beleidigten und uns mit üblen Worten beschimpften. Wir wurden gezwungen zu gehen.

The bolani looked good but when I ate the first piece I couldn't eat the rest of the bolani because it was so spicy. Because it was so spicy, or in Afghan dialect, murj. When I opened the bolani, I saw small pieces of red murj in the middle. I didn't eat it and informed the waiter. My friend said that I have eaten bolani here many times and it wasn't spicy but tonight it was spicy. When I was paying, I said I wouldn't pay but the restaurant owner's son treated me rudely and said give the workers of this restaurant their dues. Right? Is it right for me to pay for something I didn't eat? 😂 I really feel sorry for this kid. I advise you not to go to this restaurant because if you are not satisfied they will accuse you of lying and say that no one complained today and no one who ate said the food was spicy or bad 😂😂😂😂 The young man behaved very childishly and unprofessionally 😂 5 euros was not a lot of money that I couldn't pay. I gave him 5 euros but I'm not satisfied 😂 You will lose the money you took from me unjustly many times and this is the law of karma 🤚😎

We celebrated our company Christmas party there with about 12 people. Everyone was very satisfied. The food was delicious and authentic. They served homemade ayran, and the meat was so tender it melted in your mouth. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality. Reservations are possible. ❤️🙏🏻

Good food with afghan style must try if you want tastiness in your food

Never again!! We ordered food for takeout, and when we opened the package, the food was in the fridge. We complained, but the owner didn't react. I called three times, and his response was, "I can't hear you," and he simply hung up. Be careful where you spend your money!

The ambiance was lovely. The food wasn't particularly impressive for the price. We had an important occasion and were unfortunately very disappointed by the staff. We had chosen the private room for the proposal. First, we weren't allowed in early enough to decorate because the room had been rented out spontaneously beforehand. This caused a lot of time pressure. Then, the TV suddenly wouldn't connect to our phones. Furthermore, the room hadn't even been tidied up beforehand. Wine crates were lying around that we had to move aside. The waiters were told that when the fiancée and her friend arrived, they should be shown to the room by their last names. However, the waiters didn't recognize them upon arrival, despite their last names. The friend repeatedly gave her last name and pointed at the fiancée. However, they were only shown to one table. Totally disorganized and negligent. In the end, the fiancée's friend saw the room herself and went in. She was yelled at that she wasn't allowed in, and the fiancée was even held back by the arm. How can anyone not understand when they're told beforehand that two people are coming to explain their last names? The fiancée's friend makes several hints, even points at the fiancée, and yet you still don't get it. Total disappointment for such an important occasion that was supposed to be a surprise.

I went there on the recommendation of an Afghan friend and wasn't disappointed. The food is authentic and superbly prepared. The Kablo Palau with braised lamb shank is particularly outstanding – the meat practically falls off the bone, and the flavor is intense and well-balanced. The staff is friendly, attentive, and does a fantastic job. I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant based on this dish alone.

My order was taken incorrectly, and I was served one dish too few. Instead of admitting the error, they accused me, the guest, of ordering incorrectly. This kind of behavior is extremely unprofessional and demonstrates a lack of customer service. Mistakes can happen, but how you handle them is crucial. In this case, unfortunately, it was very unsatisfactory.

The food was not delicious. There was no possibility to pay with credit card. It is not a place that i will go again.

Not having a card reader and asking for cash may be a funny thing, but because of the lack of a card reader, we wasted more than an hour of our time. And our entire plan was ruined. With all these customers, the shop put a small sign in front of the cash register saying that they only accept cash. If you don't have one, they direct you to the kiosk next to the shop, and the kiosk charges a fee of 5.6 euros for a transaction, whether it's 10 euros or 20 euros. In short, I don't think I'll go here again.

The best kabuli pulao one could have in Germany. The rice aroma amazing and so well cooked, the meat is so well tender, it just melts away in the tongue. The prices are not too bad either. They also gave complimentary salad and hot bread which is equally tasty with all its spices. Whenever I go in the region, I always have the pulao! Truly worth recommending (no.36 on the menu) ;)

There's an Afghan restaurant in Essen that serves truly amazing dishes. The food there is of very high quality, and the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend eating there again. It's so good that you'll want to come back again and again and might even become a regular.

The best Afghan food I've ever eaten! Delicious, varied, charcoal-grilled meats (chicken, veal, lamb, etc.), and the absolute highlight was the rice! 🤩 If I lived in Essen, I would definitely go there more often! 👍🏻 The staff was also very friendly, and the price/performance ratio was great!

A great little restaurant with a lot of heart! The food is fresh, flavorful, and tastes homemade. I especially recommend the drink, Doogh – super refreshing, perfectly seasoned, and just the right thing to accompany the meal. The owner is extremely accommodating, and you can tell his guests are important to him. I'd definitely go back!

A real insider tip! I'm particularly fond of the Afghan dishes – the boloni and kabuli are simply unbelievably delicious and prepared with lots of love. You can taste the authenticity! The portions are generous, everything is fresh and flavorful. The owner is super friendly, welcoming, and makes you feel at home right away. I'll definitely be back!

The best 50 euros I have spent in my life, everything was great

Wonderfully seasoned food in an authentic, clean setting with very friendly service at fair prices. Buttery-soft chicken and tender Adana kofte from the charcoal grill, the sweet Afghan basmati rice, the vegetables, and the dips were all incredibly delicious. Only the obvious and blatant criminal activity (drug dealing) in front of the neighboring building is very disturbing and spoils the overall impression. But the owners probably can't do anything about that.

I used to like the food here. But I think the owner is not trustful person or may be a scammer. I was only having card for payment. Since they don't have card machine. The owner said the next building have atm. It was a Kiosk ATM and I withdraw 20 euro from there. Without any warning or asking 6.5 Euro charges was taken from my account. This is bullshit. How can a owner of the restaurant recommend such a atm. I believe the restaurant owner is also involved in this scam.. Lezzet this is really bad. Don't scam your customers. Me and my friends used to come here for food.. I will never come again and will never recommend this place to anyone. !!!THEY ONLY ACCEPT CASH....!!!DON'T USE NEAR BY KIOSK OR CASHZONE ATM....

They bring you food that's two or three days old. It's spoiled and smells bad. The rudest and most disrespectful people work there. I got sick from their stale food.

Unfortunately the Ayran didn't taste good at all, as if they had used less Ayran and a lot of water 👎 There was a large fish bone in the rice the second time too.

The Afghan food here is so incredibly delicious that I regularly drive here from Düsseldorf. The restaurant is far too small and unassuming for what it has to offer.

The place is beautiful and quiet. They have the most delicious rice you'll ever taste, excellent service, and extremely friendly staff.

Even from a distance it smells wonderful! It's great here, I've been here for the third time and every time it's great! The food is delicious, as is the service! The portions are really big, I was stuffed to the brim! The only problem is that you can't pay by card, but there's an ATM right next door.

Yesterday after 6 years, we went back to the Essen original. Ambience also like 6 years ago. The food is still as delicious as we remembered. Absolutely recommended!!! Ate there for the first time today. Friendly service, flexible when it comes to our orders. The food was great, dips and bread really tasty, salad not out of the “bucket”. Meat was very good. I don't like eating lamb, this was very good. It didn't have an annoying sheep taste. Absolutely recommended!
