LEVAROSA in Bochum

We had a company dinner with almost 40 people at the restaurant. It's a very nice restaurant. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. We pre-ordered a selection of mixed hot and cold appetizers, which were excellent. Afterwards, we ordered the main courses à la carte, and despite the large group, everyone was able to eat at the same time. The service was very friendly and attentive.

A cozy restaurant that offers the perfect space and ambiance for everything from a romantic dinner to a Christmas party. We were a party of 23 and were served a feast. The food was incredibly good – as was the service!

The food was simply superb: fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every single order arrived simultaneously and precisely on time, which is by no means a given with such a large group. The atmosphere also completely won us over – stylish, modern, yet cozy. We felt very comfortable from beginning to end. Highly recommended! We will definitely be back.

I wonder where the good reviews come from. There was probably a change of ownership. The service was abysmal. Orders were forgotten and served incorrectly. The food was tasteless and overcooked. The prices were far too high. My highlight was the supposed owner of the restaurant. A server was expected to pay for my colleague's incorrect order because we refused to pay for something that was served wrong. The owner said he would review the videos to see where the mistake was. Even after inquiring, we never received a response. Everything seemed amateurish. We will avoid this restaurant in the future.

Absolutely recommended. Whether for a small private gathering or a group of 20 colleagues. The service is top-notch, the food is incredibly delicious, and the prices are more than fair. A highly recommended experience! Keep up the great work! You're doing everything right!

Our last visit was truly disappointing. We had to wait over an hour for our food; drinks and appetizers arrived at the same time as the main course. While we were eating, we ordered more drinks, which then didn't arrive for another 45 minutes. And all this for such overpriced dishes. Unfortunately, the owner has lost us as customers and potential customers of this restaurant.

Incredibly bad service. We waited an extremely long time for our food (at least 40 minutes) and they forgot our appetizer. The food was inedible, so we paid immediately (€65) and went to Losteria. Expensive restaurant, but no taste. Never again.

It was a very enjoyable evening. We would have liked to see more dishes on the menu. Perhaps omitting the fries from some of the dishes would be a good idea.

Unfortunately, our visit was very disappointing. The music was so loud that conversation was nearly impossible – the atmosphere was more like a nightclub than a restaurant. We mentioned this right at the beginning and asked for the volume to be turned down, but from that moment on, nothing went smoothly. Drinks arrived late or not at all, and side dishes weren't served until after we'd finished our main course. Throughout our entire visit, no one asked if everything was alright or if we needed anything else. The service seemed inattentive and disinterested. The food itself was delicious and visually appealing, but it couldn't compensate for the negative experiences with the service and atmosphere. It's a shame – we were looking forward to a pleasant evening, but were sadly disappointed.

A great place to have a diner, the grill is astonishing, Mezza is stunning and the staff are very friendly. A must visit place in Bochum.

To start with the good: the ambiance, the acoustics, the atmosphere were very nice. The waiter was very nice, but we had the feeling he was on the run the whole time. We had barely seen the menu and were about to order drinks when we were asked for our food. We were still busy with the appetizer when the main course arrived... Unfortunately, we didn't like the food at all. We had the appetizer, the main course, and the dessert and practically went home hungry. Four mini meatballs and rice with no other side dish is a disgrace, and that for €25. We won't be coming back.

The service is truly abysmal. The appetizers were missing spoons. The beer was warm and undrinkable. The music was unpleasantly loud. The flatbread was cold—seriously? We had mentioned this. When we asked if we wanted any more drinks or anything else, we were never met. The main course food was truly top-notch! The rest is...if you can eat in a relaxed atmosphere, you'll definitely be in good hands here.

The vegetarian options are really good. The meat can be a little better. Would visit again if we have the chance.

Friendly staff and a beautifully decorated location. The food was mostly delicious. However, we found the value for money to be a bit off in some places. The kawaj, for example, was just a small pot of braised vegetables, mostly potatoes, and some beef + rice for a whopping €24. We found that price too high for a rather simple dish without any refinement or unusual spices.

I've been there three times so far, once for a company party, once privately with three people, and once with nine people, and everything was excellent each time! The food is really fresh and delicious, and the service is great; always friendly and always there when you need something! Top-notch😊

My first visit to the restaurant and without exaggeration I can say that this restaurant is the best oriental restaurant, not only in North Rhine-Westphalia but in all of Germany and its surroundings, the service, the tidiness, the cleanliness, the good food and most importantly the young men who work in the hall and the terrace, if there were ten stars I would have given them without hesitation, thank you to you and the nice atmosphere you have and I hope you continue like this and even better even though everything is better before, thanks from the heart to the whole team and especially to the young man in charge of service whose name I don’t know❤️❤️

We went there today as a couple for the first time. I can only agree with everyone else who has said it: super delicious food, reasonable prices, large portions, attentive service, and a pleasant atmosphere. Levarosa is still a real insider tip in Bochum! You definitely won't regret a visit – we will be back and highly recommend it. The food arrives at the same time and warm, even for large groups (the neighboring table had a reservation for 15 guests, and everyone got their food at the same time – something that's no longer a given in restaurants).

Very nice ambiance. Friendly staff. Delicious food and drinks. Main courses were very tasty, as was the dessert/milk pudding. Some of the appetizers were truly excellent. The only coffee available was Arabic mocha. The appetizer plates and dessert/Arabic ice cream were overpriced for our taste. Everything else was moderately priced. The restrooms could use some cleaning (they are shared with the bowling alley). Dogs are allowed and card payments are accepted. There was hardly any waiting time, even though there was a large wedding reception in the beer garden at the same time.

The atmosphere is very pleasant and the food is extremely delicious. A special and unique restaurant that stands out from other Syrian restaurants – highly recommended.

So, in terms of taste, nothing to complain about. It was OK. The portion was huge. But not very imaginative. Rice with vegetables for over €20 is quite a statement. More refinement would have been nice. The appetizers could have been better. The waitresses and waiters are either new or untrained. Drinks were placed on the wrong side. Plates were handled very generously with fingers. Clearing the table and asking if you wanted anything else took an incredibly long time. All in all, OK. But not for the price.

Super nice restaurant 😃 We had a mixed appetizer platter for two, each with hot and cold options, and everything was delicious. The service was very friendly and polite. Overall, the food selection was good and there was a decent selection of drinks. The ambiance is also really classy 👏🏼

We simply wanted to try something new and went for Arabic food for the first time – and it was a hit! The service was super friendly and honest: Instead of two set meals, we were recommended to have just one plus a main course – completely justified, as the portions are huge. The food was exceptionally delicious, prepared with great flavors and lots of love. The atmosphere was just right, too: a beautiful terrace, a relaxed vibe. When a thunderstorm suddenly hit, the team quickly moved everything indoors, totally professional. We were thrilled and will definitely be back – next time with friends!

The best Levantine food there is in North Rhine-Westphalia. I've been here so many times and haven't left a single review, but I have to do that now. I drive here from Düsseldorf for this, and I'm always impressed. Keep it up, guys. Thank you for being here. 🤗

A very hospitable restaurant. The food was not only delicious and traditional, but also a huge portion, enough to feed two people. The mezze was particularly delicious. At the end, we were treated to a free coffee. Whatever we didn't finish was carefully packed, and they even gave us a nice bag.

This is my second time here, with 10-15 colleagues each time. I think the food is fantastic. Be careful: there's a lot of garlic in the dishes. The special group offers with the huge selection of appetizers are great. You should come very hungry, though. You can get a bagged meal, but they only made three portions, which is the only downside to the service for me. Maybe bring your own container/bag?

The staff was very friendly. We had several appetizers, and everything was explained to us in a relaxed manner. I found some things very tasty, others not so much (it's a matter of taste). The portions were adequate. The restrooms are in the basement and are part of the bowling alley, and they weren't that great. Otherwise, I found the atmosphere very pleasant.

Inconsistent portions of lamb mansaf and unprofessional service when you complain. Luckily, my wife took pictures beforehand. Waiter A said it was on the menu, waiter B asked why I ate the dish... bro, I was hungry 😂 In any case, they brought me the rest of the meat and I didn't just get to eat bones 🦴

Delicious food at a fair price with extremely courteous staff

There were four of us there. We had a comfortable seat and received excellent and friendly service. The small appetizer platter was delicious, and there were always more breads. Reservations recommended.

Unfortunately, the meal only consisted of a large portion of seasoned rice and minimal side dishes, which I found borderline for €24. Neither the food nor the service were particularly friendly or “upscale”.

Levantine cuisine is so great. At least in Levarosa. There's also great service. It was great.

We went to Levarosa in Bochum for the first time last weekend. Simply recommended! The staff is super friendly and, above all, patient with guests, like us, who have no idea about Syrian food. We were able to take our time, have each dish explained to us and were always served in a friendly manner. The food was just great! We ordered a wide variety of starters to try as many as possible. The food was OK. The cold starters were very tasty, as were our main courses, but some were a little under-spiced. Unfortunately the service was extremely poor. We were there for over two hours, half of the time our drinks were empty and the empty dishes weren't cleared away either. We had to draw attention to ourselves several times and were ignored several times despite being directly addressed by a waiter. In addition, the staff seemed annoyed or unfriendly and was not very communicative, so you didn't really feel welcome or comfortable.

An Arabic restaurant with 5 star service, food, team.

Had dinner at LEVAROSA with my colleagues and after 2 nice hours in the neighboring bowling center. Friends had rated it quite positively in advance and Arabic cuisine is actually quite nice. We waited a little long for the drink order (10') and our starters (50'), but it was also a Friday evening. The quality of the food was not convincing. Whether Palmyra, Kabab or Byblos. The final taste experience was missing. Not enough spices, yogurt sauce with lamb was really bland. You can go, but you don't have to.

The service was very nice and friendly. The food was simply delicious! Everything is fresh and homemade, buttery and perfectly seasoned. The food was cooked to perfection (meat, vegetables, rice etc). Very rich and very good portions. Price performance is simply top. This was definitely not our last visit there!! It was just a really delicious, perfect visit to Levarosa.

We had a very tasty and filling meal there. Moritz Fiege's draft beer is perfect. Only as me When I asked for a mocha and this was confirmed, I was very surprised when I was only served an espresso.

Really a five star rating is not enough, Every time we come we are more convinced that this restaurant is unique. Portions are very generous and tasty. Mr. George is a very nice owner, I wish him all the best. My family and I are very enthusiastic and satisfied with the service, food and atmosphere.

We spent a fantastic afternoon/evening here (table was reserved at 4:30 p.m.). We were greeted very friendly and shown to our table. The atmosphere was super cozy and suitable for this restaurant. The photo shows the ceiling decoration. The menu left nothing to be desired. With three different main courses, we were able to enjoy three different flavors! Everything was incredibly delicious! The lamb was extremely tender and juicy… The minced meat balls were very aromatic and the minced meat had a very fine taste and went perfectly with the seasoned rice.

I was really looking forward to the evening because I love oriental cuisine. The Makloube was ok, the starters were good. Unfortunately the bread was moldy, we got new ones, but a simple apology would have been appropriate instead of swapping the basket without comment. We were reluctant to serve the mocha "it's strong", unfortunately it wasn't real mocha, thin, no coffee grounds. Normal coffee is on the menu, but there is no longer a coffee machine. The dishes were mostly chipped, the female service seemed a bit annoyed, the male was very nice. The music was sometimes too loud and very traditional, which made it difficult to entertain. The restaurant is cozy and the temperature is pleasant.

We had dinner at Levarosa for our Christmas party. The starters and main courses were very tasty across the board and the staff was generally friendly. The waitress had a little mishap, but that can happen. As a small compensation there were free drinks.

Positive: Delicious food and a good selection, also for vegetarians. The food is beautifully prepared. Negative: It takes a very long time for the food to arrive. The meat dishes were lukewarm or sometimes cold! The music is unbearably loud. The service staff comes by the table far too rarely, making it difficult to order a drink, for example. Some dishes are very expensive and not worth the price, such as: the grilled dishes. The side fries cost an unbelievable €5 and are not even a small portion of fries. Overall it was an okay experience, unfortunately not anymore.

There were five of us and we had two different dishes. The grill plate was very tasty. The dish with eggplant and minced meat on a side of rice too. The restaurant was very full, we hadn't made a reservation, but we were still given a very friendly welcome and were assigned a table after a short wait. The waiters were very friendly and attentive. We felt very comfortable!

We hadn't reserved a table and the place was full. Nevertheless, a table was organized for us (2 people). The food was very tasty and the staff was very friendly. It's a shame we didn't have that much time today. But we'll catch up on that 😃
