WARNING - the restaurant tried to have my review deleted as "defamatory." Therefore, the ratings here are manipulated and far too high. Stay away! Downgraded to 1 star. Previous review: The food was quite good, though not outstanding. The value for money was sometimes quite good, sometimes just about acceptable (a rather small portion of grilled octopus for €28). I appreciate that they even have Turkish wine on the menu, even if it's undrinkable. I think there are practically no good Turkish wines. Unfortunately, something went terribly wrong with our order, as we had to wait 80 minutes for our main course. We had to bring it up ourselves; no one noticed that we'd been sitting there without food for quite some time, even though the restaurant was emptying out around us. There was also no attempt at compensation for the delay, such as a free coffee or anything similar. All in all, it was okay, but I probably won't be returning.

100% recommendation! Delicious, authentic Levantine cuisine at a very good price-performance ratio in the heart of Munich. The service is very attentive and courteous. For example, the service team will happily open the window briefly if a guest is visibly struggling with the heat in the dining room, without having to ask. Unfortunately, the restaurant is very noisy; some acoustic measures would be advisable.

Fantastic restaurant and great service! I've been celebrating ceveral birthdays and get-togethers at Levante and can only highly recommend it. Although booking a table can sometimes be a challenge due to its popularity, its always a great experience highlighted by levantic food and good vibes. The service is very attentive even when the resturant is fully booked and makes you feel at a friends' house!

The food was truly delicious; there's absolutely nothing to complain about (hence the second star). Unfortunately, the service completely spoiled the positive impression. No one came to take our drink order – we had to wait a long time each time and actively demand attention. No one asked for it at any time during our entire visit. Overall, the service was more than disappointing and unfortunately didn't do justice to the otherwise excellent food. The brunch wasn't cheap, and such high prices are often justified by the ambiance and service, but that was absolutely not the case here. A real shame…

We arrived spontaneously and without a reservation. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The ambiance was pleasant and harmonious. The mezze were excellent throughout, but the presentation on the attractive plates was key. Everything tasted good, but they could have been a bit more creative with the spices and toppings. The recommended falafel was unfortunately very dry. The octopus was our highlight.

Beautiful evening sun outside, stylish interior, interesting menu, and friendly staff. However, the portions are very small for the high prices. On top of that, we were charged twice for a drink we ordered and received once.

Unfortunately, it was a total flop. The price/performance ratio was completely out of whack. The beef fillet (supposedly medium) cost €39, was dry and overdone, and the avocado cream didn't fit the flavor concept. The overall quality of the food was very average. All in all, not worth a visit; there are plenty of better alternatives.

The service was characterized by a very friendly, attentive young waitress who took excellent care of us and was always up for a joke. She seemed experienced and made our stay pleasant. Less positive was the manager's demeanor, who left a rather unfriendly impression and took our napkin rings away without explanation.

A true highlight! Levante impresses with a wonderful blend of authentic Middle Eastern cuisine, a cozy ambiance, and very attentive service. The mezze are excellently seasoned and varied – the hummus and freshly baked flatbread are particularly recommended. The main courses were also delicious and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is relaxed, stylish, and inviting – perfect for an evening with friends or a relaxed dinner for two. I will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

We visited Lavente a couple of years ago and our experience was okay. However this time we were very disappointed with the quality, and taste of the dishes. They were also very expensive, a very small meze is over 10 Euros. You order a desert, you get 2 spoons of desert, which is like a joke. The atmosphere is also chaotic, you can’t hear each other. Background music was non existent. Overall we regretted inviting our friends here due to very low quality of experience and very high bill, over 170 Euros for 3 people. Sorry guys, you need to keep up the good work. We will never visit again, nor promote to our friends.

Wir waren zu viert im Lokal, das wir bewusst ausgesucht hatten, weil wir mal nicht italienisch oder griechisch oder europäisch essen wollten. Und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Angefangen vom Bruschetta Levante bis hin zum gegrillten Octopus auf Bulgur schmeckte alles fantastisch. Die Gerichte waren perfekt gewürzt und vermittelten uns ein (gutes) Gefühl, wie levantinisches Essen schmeckt. Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir fühlen uns sehr wohl.

It's okay. We were there at 7 p.m. on a Tuesday. Our food was served shortly before 9 p.m. The place itself is cramped, loud, and hectic. The restrooms look like they were never finished. The food itself tasted quite good, but the portions are very small. €27 for a half-full plate... The service was very nice.

Very good restaurant – I recommend focusing on appetizers and ordering them and the main course together. Then share everything and you have a very good and tasty selection. Absolutely delicious! The only downside: It's a bit noisy and therefore quite loud. But that's a problem in Munich in general.

Eine tolle und gemütliche Atmosphäre mit einer vielseitigen Auswahl an Mezze 👌 hatten das Dreierlei vom Hummus, Sigara Börek - wird mit einem kleinen Minzjoghurt in der Schüssel serviert und harmoniert super 👏 dazu das fermentierte Gemüse - klasse! Auch die gerösteten Kichererbsen mit Granatapfelkernen und Walnüssen waren sehr gut!

Food was incredible, especially the baked eggplant zucchini carrot puffers. We tried a number of appetizers and shared them all, all were very good and we left quite full and happy. Service was good as well and the restaurant is beautifully decorated. We will have to come back to try some of the main courses and wines. Large vegetarian selection as well. Absolutely recommend this restaurant!

Great location, nice atmosphere, delicious food, but veeeeeeery expensive to the portions served. They follow a small-dish concept for sharing 'mezze'. Still the prices are super expensive, not justified by the great taste. Rates the service lower as they forgot to bring us one dish which was for the kids and we waited so long after we reminded them until it was served.

I had a fantastic experience at Levante. The ambiance was inviting, and the service was extremely friendly and attentive. The food was fresh and delicious—the lamb, in particular, was perfectly prepared! The dessert, a chocolate soufflé, was the crowning glory. Definitely recommended for a special evening!

We came here, and we saw there was an amazing Sunday Buffet at a very competitive price. Food was super healthy, incredibly delicious and many different options. Would come back when back in Munich and definetely recommend.

Imaginativa sabrosa gran comida con gran presentación y gran personal. Destacaron el pan de nuez bruschetta, trío de Hummous con pitta, champiñón portobello principal, berenjena especial y dueto de alcachofa y aguacate sobre guiso de garbanzos. También los higos con crema mascarpone fabulosos. Estoy seguro de que hay muchos otros buenos restaurantes en Múnich, pero dale una oportunidad a este lugar. Food was very good, tasteful as was the selection. Service very nice. However, it was very crowded and the tables were crowded. With a large group at the next table there was a lot of coming and going and so you always had either a jacket or an arm behind your back. The noise level was difficult to bear.

3.5 stars. The restaurant has a lot of potential - the service was extremely friendly and the food tasted really good. Unfortunately it was extremely loud on Friday evening, which spoiled the experience somewhat. In addition, after the starter it took over an hour until the main course was served. Given the full house and only two service staff, that's understandable, but still not ideal. It was also a shame that the food was almost cold and the meat seemed overcooked - it probably sat in the kitchen for a while before it could be served. It was still tasty and well seasoned. But it is too expensive for such errors. We will definitely give the restaurant another chance, but on a quieter evening.

At Levante they serve Turkish food in a rather glam and cosy atmosphere. We loved the place and we loved the service (our waiter Natalie was sooooo nice) but what was really outstanding was the food: hearty, fresh, yummy. I would say that prices are above average (40-50€ pp) but you pay for the quality, which makes sense. Super recommended!

La cocina es absolutamente fantástica — cada plato está bellamente elaborado y lleno de sabor. Está claro que hay mucho cuidado en el menú. El servicio es increíblemente amable y atento, haciendo que toda la experiencia sea aún más agradable. Aunque el ambiente es vibrante, el nivel de ruido es el correcto, lo que permite tanto un ambiente energético como un entorno cómodo para comer. Si bien los precios son más altos, la calidad de la comida, el servicio y la experiencia en general hacen que valga la pena cada centavo. Muy recomendable para cualquiera que busque una experiencia gastronómica memorable!

Shortly before Christmas I was in the “Levante” again. This time a Sunday brunch took place there for the first time. As always, the food and service were very good! There were both sweet and savory dishes (also Levantine-style). In general: It's always a pleasure to eat there and spend the evening - like visiting friends! Above all, Sinan, his family and the staff always do their best as hosts and do everything to make you feel right at home (including in terms of cuisine). Otherwise I wouldn't have celebrated my big birthday there in a very large group more than a year ago...

Very nice atmosphere with good food, the service was also very friendly. The selection was very good, lots of choice for vegetarians and vegans, which is great. We felt comfortable.

We have never been to Levante before and booked the New Year's Eve menu online. The restaurant has very tight seating, which leads to a very high noise level. There were no New Year's Eve decorations or anything like that. The menu consisted of four courses. The first, second course and also the dessert were good and quite tasty. We were disappointed with the main course, the third course. This could be chosen from three variants. The lamb chop version was disappointing, there was hardly any meat on the bones and it was also hard. My companion chose the fish dish. The fish was absolutely tasteless, the dish was very disappointing. Apart from that, the amount of food was not appropriate, we didn't get full despite the 4 courses. The quality and quantity were not appropriate for the high price, we are disappointed.

We have booked the New Year's Eve menu 2024. The food was great, good quality of food. Portions a bit small, a good eater wouldn't have been completely full. We'd love to come back.

Für ein Silvesterevent war die Veranstaltung ein purer Reinfall. Keine entsprechende Musik, keine Dekoration entsprechend des Anlasses. Entsprechend leerte sich das Restaurant noch vor Mitternacht.

Wir waren an Silvester zu Gast und hatten die Silvester Experience gebucht. Am Silvesterabend war eine a la Carte Bestellung nicht möglich. Wir sind regelmäßig im Levante und haben dort auch regelmäßig angenehme Abende. Das Team war auch am Silvesterabend freundlich und das 4 Gänge Menü war insgesamt lecker, auch wenn die Portionen relativ klein ausfielen. Auch auf Extrawünsche wurde eingegangen. Zur Feier des Abends gab es eine Bauchtanzeinlage zwischen den Gängen.

Wir waren bisher noch nie im Levante und haben online das Silvestermenü gebucht. Das Restaurant ist recht eng bestuhlt, was zu einem sehr hohen Lärmpegel führt. Die Sitzplätze am Fenster waren recht kühl. Das Menü bestand aus vier Gängen. Der erste, zweite Gang und auch die Nachspeise waren gut und recht lecker. Enttäuscht waren wir von der Hauptspeise, dem dritten Gang. Dieser konnte aus drei Varianten gewählt werden. Die Variante mit Lammkotelett war enttäuschend, an den Knochen war kaum Fleisch, welches auch noch hart war. Meine Begleitung hat das Fischgericht gewählt. Der Fisch war absolut geschmacklos, das Gericht war sehr enttäuschend. Davon abgesehen war die Essensmenge nicht angemessen, satt sind wir trotz der 4 Gänge nicht geworden. Die Qualität und auch die Menge waren dem hohen Preis nicht angemessen, wir sind enttäuscht.

Ich hatte für eine grosse Veranstaltung das Catering - Buffet beim Restaurant Levante bestellt. Das Levante schlug dabei eine sehr schöne Auswahl an Speisen für das Menü vor, das auch für Vegetarier sehr gut geeignet war. Die Lieferung und der ansprechende Aufbau, sowie die spätere Abholung waren zuverlässig. Das wichtigste : Das Buffet war schlichtweg hervorragend und die Gäste haben die Speisen als etwas Besonderes wahrgenommen !!! Ich kann das Levante als Catering - Dienstleister wärmstens empfehlen.
