I've been to the Levante so many times. It's always delicious. The quality of the food is excellent. The only thing that could be worked on is the side dishes for the main courses. E.g. at Pulpo. This is really as good as anywhere else, but the side dish is somehow so bland compared to all the other dishes. The service is also always perfect.

The food is delicious but the prices are too high. The lack of smiles from the staff and the high prices that don't match the quality create an unpleasant experience as it feels like you have to thank them for the food instead of appreciating the visit.

A great experience in a great location! As a vegan, it is not always easy to discover a "mixed" restaurant. But the Levante was an absolute hit! My companion had the saffron rice with lamb, which tasted excellent. I had the portobello mushrooms stuffed with delicious little messes like sun-dried tomatoes, olives, tender leaves, aromatic herbs on a bed of cauliflower cream... a real treat! The service was very courteous, quick and professional. Excellent wine suggestion. Very good presentation of the dishes. Overall a dream. It definitely wasn't there for the last time! Very worth mentioning: The restaurant manager came to the tables unobtrusively and politely to inquire about their satisfaction.

First of all: the prices are already high, the menu is manageable, but the food is incredibly good. Starters weren't that good. We ordered the lamb goulash with rice and the eggplant casserole with cheese and pine nuts. Neither of us have ever had such a good casserole or lamb goulash. The service (08/19/24 evening, blonde young woman with ponytail) was really very attentive, but not intrusive. The waiting time for the food was absolutely okay. We will definitely come back!

Die Menge bei den von uns bestellten Vorspeisen war sehr überschaubar. Leider ist es in dem Lokal sehr laut, insofern nicht so geeignet für einen gemütlichen Abend zu zweit.

Whether you choose to eat mezze (tapas-style) or go for a starter and a main course, you’ll have made the right decision at Levante. There are specials in addition to the regular menu. Both menus offer plenty of vegetarian options. Went with a group and tried the majority of the cold and warm starters. All were full of flavor though our favorites were the zucchini fritters, the Levante aubergine and the cheese stuffed mushrooms. For the main, the seasonal mushrooms served with potato puree was a hit. Highly recommend.

Decent food, but a bit higher on the price. If you are looking for a more unique food experience, tasting dishes you probably have not seen, this might be worth checking out. The entrees are honestly the best. (everything with eggplant is also good :) )

I was skeptical beforehand, but then I was totally thrilled: so delicious! I especially like Tabouleh and Kirinti. We had three starters per person and pita, so we were able to try things out. Everything prepared fresh and spicy. One point deducted for the ambience because it is quite loud. But I'll definitely go to the Levante again!

I had lunch here twice and can only say good things. Great food, very nice service and pleasant atmosphere. I can particularly recommend the sesame-crusted chicken with hummus.

Friendly service and delicious food. Atmosphere is beautiful and on the fancy side. We had a birthday gathering in which I felt could be managed a bit better. Our table stayed dirty at all times and the service plates stayed the same from starter to main dish. Considering the fanciness of the place the staff did not live up to the expectations. Other than that worth a visit surely :)

Not only Turkish mezes are great, but they are also fusion, I genuinely like the atmosphere and the food from time to time..

The food is to die for! Great selection of vegetarian/vegan dishes too; it's worth trying out the various starters here. Unfortunately, after the first drink and after the food was served, we were a bit forgotten, so we were left with empty plates and empty glasses. That's why only 4/5, but I'll definitely come back.

Food was incredible, especially the baked eggplant zucchini carrot puffers. We tried a number of appetizers and shared them all, all were very good and we left quite full and happy. Service was good as well and the restaurant is beautifully decorated. We will have to come back to try some of the main courses and wines. Large vegetarian selection as well. Absolutely recommend this restaurant!

Sehr nett dekoriertes Lokal und gutes Essen bei entspanntem Ambiente. Einzig schade war dass die Bedienung sehr angespannt bis unfreundlich war, das erste Lächeln haben wir bei der Rechnung erhalten. Eigentlich schade weil wir das Lokal echt mögen und zum zweiten Mal da waren, und bei einer Rechnung von knapp 200€ würden wir uns über Herzlichkeit freuen. Wir probieren es nochmal....hoffe das wird dann rundum angenehm, Essen schmeckt uns auf jeden Fall sehr gut un oder Rahmen passt auch! :-)

We were there for lunch and it was a thoroughly positive experience! We had reservations, but since it wasn't full we were able to choose where we wanted to sit. I found the table setting and the general furnishings very appealing. Service was nice! The highlight was absolutely the food. On the one hand, there is a very tasty selection of vegetarian/vegan dishes. On the other hand, it is phenomenally tasty and very aesthetically presented. I'll definitely come back :)

Zu unserer Überraschung scheint der Betreiber des Levantes gewechselt zu haben. Leider gab es nicht mehr die köstlichen Mezze. Das Angebot an türkischen Speisen war aber auch sehr gut. Alles frisch zubereitet und lecker. Man sollte allerdings auf den Wechsel deutlicher hinweisen, damit niemand enttäuscht ist.

Essen hervorragend, vor allem die Vorspeisen und vegetarischen Gerichte auf der separaten Karte/ Wochenkarte. Allerdings sehr laut wenn ab 20 Uhr voll und mühsam sich zu unterhalten.

Die Vorspeisen waren sehr lecker. Jedoch war der Abstand zwischen den Gängen viel zu lange und die Hauptgerichte waren nur noch lauwarm. Für den Preis ziemlich enttäuschend.

Delicious food but over priced, the bread is around 3 euros which in other similar restaurants is for free. The lack of smiling from staff and this high price that is not adjusted to the quality creates an uncomfortable experience, as you have to thank them for food and not they thank you for having food there.

Bad and overpriced food in a rather uncomfortable and very noisy atmosphere One of these overhyped restaurants that are rather typical of Munich... Despite having reserved a table, we had to wait for 15 minutes, no big deal. However, it took about 10 minutes before it occured to the waiter to offer us a drink at the bar while we waited. We were then brought to our table for two. The tables are very very close to each other. No problem with privacy though, as the level of noise is so deafening that you can only talk to each other by shouting (and I mean SHOUTING) across the table. We stopped speaking altogether after ca. 30 minutes since we were both hoarse. We had ordered starters, among them Falafel, and two main dishes. The Falafel were like small bricks, very hard and compressed, not fluffy and crunchy, and not very well seasoned. I was full after three of them. After, we had the Patlican (the whole composition was completely uninspired) and the chicken (boring). Never again.

The store is packed and apparently very popular. For me it was unbearably loud, you had to shout at each other. In my opinion it was way too full of tables. Now about the food: they have proud prices e.g. B. Köfte for 26 EUR. This is stuffed minced meat and then you don't even get a little salad as a garnish or a little bread at the front. In addition, the lamb lambed quite a bit. I also found the open wines to be very average. Every Turkish restaurant around the corner eats just as well, but you don't understand the hype.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Abend im Levante. Das Essen war geschmacklich und optisch hervorragend und der Service sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Das Levante ist modern eingerichtet und macht einen gehobenen Eindruck. Leider ist das Personal teilweise nur aufgesetzt freundlich, so dass keine angenehme „freundschaftlich entspannte“ Atmosphäre aufkam, wie wir sie eigentlich in einer Mezze Bar erwarten. Wohlfühlfaktor war dadurch nicht vorhanden. Es geht leider für uns auch gar nicht, dass die Bedienung die Rechnung nicht direkt am Tisch überreicht, sondern diese über eine Trennwand durch ein Dekogitter übergibt. Essenstechnisch haben uns die Falafeln begeistert. Bessere haben wir noch nicht gegessen. Außen knusprig, innen cremig. Auch das Babaganoush war top. Leider haben uns die Hummus-Variationen aber auf voller Linie enttäuscht. Sie waren viel zu fad und neutral im Geschmack. Den Unterschied zwischen Rote Bete und Mango konnte man nur erahnen. In Summe hat uns das Levante daher leider nicht abgeholt, so dass wir die levantinische Küche in Zukunft andernorts genießen werden.

Reservation online works great. Jackets and coats have to go to the unguarded cloakroom, which I didn't like because I had an expensive jacket stolen before. Of course I understand that, especially in winter the appearance of a restaurant suffers from the winter clothes hanging on the chairs. It's very loud here, you have to be able to get away from it. Very stylish and a bit hectic as there is a constant change of guests who also have to wait in the entrance area and possibly stand around you. The service was very friendly, stressed, of course I can understand that. We enjoyed the food excellently and the price-performance ratio was quite good. We would love to come back because the overall concept appeals to us and the menu is very interesting.

- An einem Samstag Abend war ca. 1,5 Stunden kein Service mehr gesehen. Nur nach längerer Wartezeit und winken. Service ist sehr freundlich, wenn dann einer da war.. - Essen war sehr gut, dennoch stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis (wie so oft) meines Erachtens nicht. Hauptspeisen für 26.-€ und mehr sind nicht gerechtfertigt, ebenso ein Glas "normaler" Weisswein 0,2l für 10,50€. - Insgesamt eine sehr schöner Abend und einfach mal eine andere Geschmackserfahrung.

The tables are very narrow, it is extremely loud and you can hardly have a conversation. The food is average, boringly seasoned and carelessly prepared. If slots from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. have to be adhered to, you have to open on time and serve faster. The babaganoush was sour, not fresh; Main course served at 7:30 p.m. is not possible. Service and kitchen are totally overwhelmed. Never again!

The food came quickly and warm. The fish was good, the meat was mediocre. The pita bread had a rancid taste. In connection with the decent prices, only a maximum of 3 points. However, the service was subpar. After the first order we were virtually no longer served, even though there were 9 of us. The guest room is nice and not too big; However, the toilets were rather unkempt. Overall unfortunately disappointing.

Amazing food and the service was great. The tables are very close to each other so one can listen to the neighbor's conversation. Our table was badly positioned in the corner next to the coat rack and the space was tiny. If you don't care about the ambient that much, i strongly recommend this restaurant for the delicious food!

Once through the oriental cuisine: with ups and downs. You sit relatively crowded (three people at a table for two) and this increases the noise in the restaurant. A pity. Because it is actually nicely furnished and comfortable. What was also a shame: we only had 2 hours to eat because there was another seating. That wouldn't be bad if it hadn't taken almost 50 minutes for the starters to arrive. We felt a bit rushed. We had the Hummus Trio, Baba Ghanoush and the Levante Bruschetta as starters. Unfortunately, the first two were not very varied in terms of taste and also lacked some spice and spiciness. The bruschetta was good for that. For main courses we had Sultan and the eggplant casserole. The latter seemed like it was cooked a little too long, which also affects the consistency. Something similar with the lamb cubes: they were also in the pan for too long. A pity. The food had a lot of potential, but the restaurant didn't quite live up to it.

Zu Beginn bekommt man gesagt, dass man den Tisch für 2 Stunden hat - okay, ergibt betriebswirtschaftlich Sinn, ist aber nicht toll. Die Getränkepreise sind schon happig, steht ja alles auf der Karte. Die Speisen waren okay, es war nichts besonderes oder herausragend. Alles in allem war es gut.

We can really recommend the Levante restaurant. Both the reception and the service were very friendly and very attentive. The food also tasted very tasty. You should definitely make a reservation, as even on a Thursday evening the restaurant was full and many people were still hoping for a seat without a reservation.
