Good things first: lovey and chic atmosphere & the service was good and the selection of veggie / vegan dishes is vast - but we were honestly a bit taken aback by the portion sizes and value for money of this place of the Mezze we ordered. Taste wise, it was great but from a value for money pov, wouldn’t necessarily visit again

We really enjoyed the brunch food, good selection and plenty of fresh options. The service does fall short though, we have to call multiple times to be able to ask for the beverages and they were brought practically when we had ended eating.

Food was very good, tasteful as was the selection. Service very nice. However, it was very crowded and the tables were crowded. With a large group at the next table there was a lot of coming and going and so you always had either a jacket or an arm behind your back. The noise level was difficult to bear.

3.5 stars. The restaurant has a lot of potential - the service was extremely friendly and the food tasted really good. Unfortunately it was extremely loud on Friday evening, which spoiled the experience somewhat. In addition, after the starter it took over an hour until the main course was served. Given the full house and only two service staff, that's understandable, but still not ideal. It was also a shame that the food was almost cold and the meat seemed overcooked - it probably sat in the kitchen for a while before it could be served. It was still tasty and well seasoned. But it is too expensive for such errors. We will definitely give the restaurant another chance, but on a quieter evening.

At Levante they serve Turkish food in a rather glam and cosy atmosphere. We loved the place and we loved the service (our waiter Natalie was sooooo nice) but what was really outstanding was the food: hearty, fresh, yummy. I would say that prices are above average (40-50€ pp) but you pay for the quality, which makes sense. Super recommended!

El servicio es increíblemente amable y atento, haciendo que toda la experiencia sea aún más agradable. Aunque el ambiente es vibrante, el nivel de ruido es el correcto, lo que permite tanto un ambiente energético como un entorno cómodo para comer. Si bien los precios son más altos, la calidad de la comida, el servicio y la experiencia en general hacen que valga la pena cada centavo. Shortly before Christmas I was in the “Levante” again. This time a Sunday brunch took place there for the first time. As always, the food and service were very good! There were both sweet and savory dishes (also Levantine-style). In general: It's always a pleasure to eat there and spend the evening - like visiting friends! Above all, Sinan, his family and the staff always do their best as hosts and do everything to make you feel right at home (including in terms of cuisine). Otherwise I wouldn't have celebrated my big birthday there in a very large group more than a year ago...

We have never been to Levante before and booked the New Year's Eve menu online. The restaurant has very tight seating, which leads to a very high noise level. There were no New Year's Eve decorations or anything like that. The menu consisted of four courses. The first, second course and also the dessert were good and quite tasty. We were disappointed with the main course, the third course. This could be chosen from three variants. The lamb chop version was disappointing, there was hardly any meat on the bones and it was also hard. My companion chose the fish dish. The fish was absolutely tasteless, the dish was very disappointing. Apart from that, the amount of food was not appropriate, we didn't get full despite the 4 courses. The quality and quantity were not appropriate for the high price, we are disappointed.

Wir waren bisher noch nie im Levante und haben online das Silvestermenü gebucht. Das Restaurant ist recht eng bestuhlt, was zu einem sehr hohen Lärmpegel führt. Die Sitzplätze am Fenster waren recht kühl. Das Menü bestand aus vier Gängen. Der erste, zweite Gang und auch die Nachspeise waren gut und recht lecker. Enttäuscht waren wir von der Hauptspeise, dem dritten Gang. Dieser konnte aus drei Varianten gewählt werden. Die Variante mit Lammkotelett war enttäuschend, an den Knochen war kaum Fleisch, welches auch noch hart war. Meine Begleitung hat das Fischgericht gewählt. Der Fisch war absolut geschmacklos, das Gericht war sehr enttäuschend. Davon abgesehen war die Essensmenge nicht angemessen, satt sind wir trotz der 4 Gänge nicht geworden. Die Qualität und auch die Menge waren dem hohen Preis nicht angemessen, wir sind enttäuscht.

Wir waren an Silvester zu Gast und hatten die Silvester Experience gebucht. Am Silvesterabend war eine a la Carte Bestellung nicht möglich. Wir sind regelmäßig im Levante und haben dort auch regelmäßig angenehme Abende. Das Team war auch am Silvesterabend freundlich und das 4 Gänge Menü war insgesamt lecker, auch wenn die Portionen relativ klein ausfielen. Auch auf Extrawünsche wurde eingegangen. Zur Feier des Abends gab es eine Bauchtanzeinlage zwischen den Gängen.

Für ein Silvesterevent war die Veranstaltung ein purer Reinfall. Keine entsprechende Musik, keine Dekoration entsprechend des Anlasses. Entsprechend leerte sich das Restaurant noch vor Mitternacht.

Ich hatte für eine grosse Veranstaltung das Catering - Buffet beim Restaurant Levante bestellt. Das Levante schlug dabei eine sehr schöne Auswahl an Speisen für das Menü vor, das auch für Vegetarier sehr gut geeignet war. Die Lieferung und der ansprechende Aufbau, sowie die spätere Abholung waren zuverlässig. Das wichtigste : Das Buffet war schlichtweg hervorragend und die Gäste haben die Speisen als etwas Besonderes wahrgenommen !!! Ich kann das Levante als Catering - Dienstleister wärmstens empfehlen.

Am 2. Weihnachtsfeiertag waren wir nach dem Theater hier zum ersten Mal essen. Wir hatten es uns schon lange vorgenommen und haben es sehr genossen. Der Service war aufmerksam und charmant, die Auswahl der Weine traf auf jeden Fall unseren Geschmack. Das Essen und an dieser Stelle ein Lob an die Küche, war ausgezeichnet. Ich habe ein neues Stammlokal in Schwabing gefunden. Ich glaube das ist der Beginn einer wunderbaren Freundschaft.

My visit to Levante was a real culinary highlight! I was completely impressed by the authentic Levantine cuisine. The selection is large and there is something for every taste - whether meat, fish or vegetarian delicacies. We chose a starter, main course and dessert and I can say with certainty that each course was simply amazing! The flavors were perfectly coordinated and took us a little further into the Orient. The atmosphere in the restaurant is welcoming and cozy, ideal for spending a good time with friends or family. The staff was also very friendly and attentive, which made the evening even more pleasant. I can highly recommend Levante. Here you not only experience fantastically good food, but also warm hospitality. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

I've been to the Levante so many times. It's always delicious. The quality of the food is excellent. The only thing that could be worked on is the side dishes for the main courses. E.g. at Pulpo. This is really as good as anywhere else, but the side dish is somehow so bland compared to all the other dishes. The service is also always perfect.

Nice evening! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was nice, but unfortunately it was overpriced.

Wir waren an einem Mittwochabend vor Ort. Die gewünschte Zeit war nicht verfügbar, sondern nur 18:30 Uhr. Als ich als Erste eintraf, war das Lokal ungefähr zur Hälfte gefüllt. Es gab mehrere Tische die für größere Gesellschaften vorbereitet waren. Die Tische für zwei Personen befanden sich an der Fensterfront. Ich wurde direkt neben einem anderen Pärchen platziert, obwohl zu der Zeit noch ca. 4 kleine Tische frei waren. Das Pärchen, welches fast zeitgleich mit mir eintraf, ereilte das gleiche Schicksal. Schade, meine Freundin hatte bei der Reservierung explizit angegeben, dass wir etwas zu feiern hatten und einen ruhigen Tisch wünschen. Die Tische waren relativ eng gestellt, private Gespräche somit kaum möglich. Die Karte war schnell gereicht. Es gab Specials sowie die Standardkarte. Wir entschieden uns dafür, nur Vorspeisen zu ordern. So gab es für uns Babaganoush (8,50 Euro), Kirinti (8,50 Euro), Tabouleh (8,50 Euro) sowie von den Specials das Bruschetta Levante (13,90 Euro) und Pita (2,40 Euro). Da es sich überwiegend um kalte Speisen handelte, ging es sehr zügig. Das Bruschetta bestand aus Walnussbrot mit Avocado, Schafskäse und Datteln. Das Brot war geröstet und mit den anderen Zutaten belegt, dazu gab es Blattsalate. Es wird viel mit frischen Zutaten wie Kräutern und Granatapfelkernen gearbeitet. insgesamt schmeckte es sehr gut, das Pita bestellten wir nach. Später erfuhren wir, dass der Tisch nur für 2 Stunden uns gehörte. Gerade rechtzeitig als wir ein weiteres Glas Rotwein bestellt hatten. Wir wurden in dem Moment gefragt, ob wir den Wein dennoch haben wollen und bot uns an, diesen an der Bar zu trinken. Das nahmen wir bereitwillig an. Die Tischnachbarn hatten auf der einen Seite gewechselt und statt zwei saßen jetzt drei Personen neben uns. Dafür wurde der Tisch etwas verschoben, damit ein weiterer Stuhl Platz hatte. Leider gehen manche Personen selten Essen, denn der Herr merkte nicht, dass er im ganzen Lokal zu hören war. Vielleicht lag es aber auch daran, dass der Lärmpegel generell sehr hoch war. An der Bar war es anfangs ruhig und wir genossen die „Stille“. Doch das war nur der Moment, als die Gäste um uns herum aßen. Schade. Als wir später vor die Tür traten, war dies eine Wohltat. Schade, aber für mich sind die Randbedingungen eher abschreckend, obwohl es gut schmeckte.

Really liked it! ok no, we'd loved it!it was soooo delicious,the athmosphere was cozy and have a good vibe and the service was good.Foodwise,everything you could wish for.we are plant based so no animal products and we definitely had a great choice there.we loved the truffel hummus and the Babaganoush and so much more.Even the dessert was great.

Das Restaurant bietet eine wunderbare Atmosphäre, Personal freundlich. Leider stimmte das Menü mit dem im Internet verfügbaren Menü nicht überein, wir mussten uns also neu entscheiden, generell nicht das Problem, nur hatten wir etwas andere erwartet. Das Essen war leider eine Enttäuschung. Die Böregi wurde zweimal frittiert, waren dadurch zwar sehr knusprig, jedoch geschmacklos, sehr fettig und letztlich verbrannt. Die Zuchiniblüten (Kusa) erlitten ein ähnliches Schicksal wie das Böregi, zu lange im Fett gebadet zu haben ohne „abgetrocknet“ zu werden. Weiter ging es mit der Hauptspeise auf die wir uns am meisten gefreut haben: Mutancana. Es waren 3 kleine Stückchen Fleisch (ein Würfel von ca 2,5x2,5cm) in dem Lammeintopf begleitet von einer mit mindestens dreifachen Menge an Aprikosen und ein paar Pflaumen sehr süßen Soße. Auch gab es keinen Reis mehr, sondern Bulgur, der nun mal zu dem Gericht nicht so passt. Dies war um kurz nach 20:00, einer Uhrzeit zu der man eigentlich erwarten dürfte, dass die Hauptzutat zu allen Gerichten noch verfügbar ist. Die Getränke waren im Gegensatz dazu großartig. Als Lösung zu unserem Feedback (der Koch konnte wohl nicht erkennen, dass so wenig Fleisch im Lammeintopf war) wurde uns ein leckerer Frangelico Cocktail angeboten. Zusammengefasst ist der Preis im Verhältnis zu der gelieferten Qualität nicht angemessen. Alles in allem ist das Levante leider nicht zu empfehlen.

Well where do I start! The service was friendly , efficient and the manager moved us to a larger table for our comfort. The food was fresh, well presented and the taste awesome. After spending a few days in Munich and eating the typical German food it was a refreshing experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

A great experience in a great location! As a vegan, it is not always easy to discover a "mixed" restaurant. But the Levante was an absolute hit! My companion had the saffron rice with lamb, which tasted excellent. I had the portobello mushrooms stuffed with delicious little messes like sun-dried tomatoes, olives, tender leaves, aromatic herbs on a bed of cauliflower cream... a real treat! The service was very courteous, quick and professional. Excellent wine suggestion. Very good presentation of the dishes. Overall a dream. It definitely wasn't there for the last time! Very worth mentioning: The restaurant manager came to the tables unobtrusively and politely to inquire about their satisfaction.

my absolute favourite restaurant, fantastic food.

First of all: the prices are already high, the menu is manageable, but the food is incredibly good. Starters weren't that good. We ordered the lamb goulash with rice and the eggplant casserole with cheese and pine nuts. Neither of us have ever had such a good casserole or lamb goulash. The service (08/19/24 evening, blonde young woman with ponytail) was really very attentive, but not intrusive. The waiting time for the food was absolutely okay. We will definitely come back!
