A sobering tapas experience with a ray of hope due to a mix-up My last visit to this restaurant began with anticipation – and unfortunately ended in a series of disappointments that even the inadvertent bright spot of an incorrectly served dish couldn't compensate for. We originally planned to enjoy a selection of classic tapas with a glass of wine – a concept that works brilliantly in many restaurants. Here, however, a lack of care and quality became apparent right from the first plate. The olives served were so heavily salted that they were barely edible – an unusual and unfortunately unsuccessful approach. Even more disconcerting was the consistency of the minced meat, which had an almost rubbery texture, permeated by noticeable air bubbles – an extremely unusual and unappealing experience. The bruschetta with "cherry tomatoes," which was finally served after we asked several times, also left much to be desired. Instead of the advertised cherry tomatoes, we found ordinary, large-cut tomatoes – disappointing both in terms of taste and appearance. The fact that the server had repeatedly and explicitly asked us what we wanted for this particular dish made the mix-up all the more incomprehensible. It became particularly irritating when two dishes were brought to our table that we hadn't ordered. Before we could even point this out, the server silently took the croquetas back to the next table – only to leave them at the next table. A practice that raises questions about hygiene and the approach to service. Ironically, the best dish of the evening was the one we were mistakenly served – a bad stroke of luck, but one that cannot disguise the fact that basic procedures and quality standards are lacking in the kitchen and service. Overall, this visit left a bitter aftertaste – both culinary and organizational. Tapas thrive on variety, quality, and care – unfortunately, there was little of any of that here.

Very friendly service. Great dishes. Delicious seafood and tapas. The wine selection is very good. We felt the beetroot was a little off. However, the other dishes were very well-balanced and absolutely delicious. The sun shines beautifully on the terrace outside. Kudos to the service, we'd love to come back. Have a great vacation!

It might have been nice. Unfortunately, there's currently no indication of vacation until September 4th. Unfortunately, I only noticed it when I got there 😪 It was supposed to be a birthday surprise for my mom. Unfortunately, it was a flop.

It's in a market hall just to the left of the main entrance. Everything is open. The food was so delicious and my older daughter even tried mussels. We ordered the seafood platter for 2 people and the 4 of us were really full. There was also fresh, warm bread with garlic oil for free as much as we wanted. The service was very attentive and explained everything and was very quick and extremely friendly. I definitely recommend it. further.

I've had the fish platter at this restaurant several times and have been absolutely thrilled every time – fresh, flavorful, and simply delicious! The claims in the comments that the food is bad and the staff know it's bad are complete nonsense. The staff here is not only polite and professional, but also handles criticism with the utmost respect. Would people prefer the waitress to have made a fuss instead of remaining friendly? Maybe some people should stop complaining about great food and excellent service and start appreciating it. For me, this restaurant is a real insider tip – a definite recommendation!

We have been regular guests here for many years. The food always tastes very tasty. And Goscha is a lovely person and always ensures the physical well-being of her guests! We always like to come back!

Unfortunately, the seafood (especially the mussels) was very stale, and the vegetable accompaniments were charred. We left halfway through dinner, disgusted. The waitress apologized, meaning she knew they were serving food that wasn't fit for consumption, but we still had to pay for it. Stay away, as stale frutti di mare is dangerous and can make you sick.

I never write reviews but this time I feel I have to. I came with a friend for a Xmas dinner and reserved a table 1 week in advance, so I guess it was expected we will come and eat, but for some reason nothing was fresh (altho we were told it is) Starters were horrible - I never saw pulpo treated with such zero love (also zero love for seasoning) and i love seafood as I lived many years in Spain. The tongue was dreadful and the presentation made me think we are in a Time Machine taking us directly to communistic times. But the real horror is the seafood mix platter (or whatever the name is) - the squids and octopus ware made of gum - and we all know what it means. Fine - we are not so close to the ocean I thought 😹 but then we tried the mussels and oh boy this we’re not fresh at all - you could literally get food poisoning from them. And the potatos. Im pretty sure the grill or pan they were done on was never cleaned. Ever. It was like eating a coal. Avoid.

Seldom eaten so badly. Three tapas, some of them inedible. Fish pot oversalted, shrimps overcooked, every third mussel not opened. 28 EUR is definitely too much for that. Nice and hard-working, but ultimately overwhelmed staff. Apparently the cook was unavailable at short notice. Very loud party music from the neighboring bar.

Service is very good. But Seafood is not that fresh as normal, so it cooked with a lot of salt and Wein, which make it not so tasty. Besides the amount of the food is not comparable with the price. It is located in the market Halle, name of the restaurant is not clear displayed, so hard to find it and it is super hot in summer!

We had made a reservation online in advance, but arrived earlier than planned, and that wasn't a problem for the restaurant. The server/owner was super friendly. Due to a company holiday, she didn't have everything she needed, so she couldn't make my red Hugo a red. However, she made a lot of effort to make a regular Hugo delicious, and she did a great job. She also apologized that my platter took longer to arrive than my friends' food. But I didn't mind that, given the friendliness and the good service. I did have a very tasty platter. My friends' food was also very tasty, and we thought it was good value for money. Highly recommended!

Definitely worth of visiting. The menu offers a wide variety of options, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. Although, it’s really hard to choose from so many good options, the chef is really friendly and you can always ask for the recommendations. Hands down, one of the best tapas restaurants in Berlin. Very professional, fast, well served with a really nice and friendly atmosphere. Would highly recommend! 😊

Very small portions, overpriced and the food had burnt spots. Very unfriendly service.

The ambience of the market hall with various restaurants is very cozy. I chose the Lesedro and was not disappointed. The seafood platter gave me a holiday feeling and the service was very courteous and took really touching care of me (60 years old, female, traveling alone). I found the price-performance ratio to be very good considering the quality and quantity on the seafood platter. Thank you for a very nice evening!

Really blatantly ripped off! Paid 70 euros for three tapas (grilled octopus, croquetas and plums wrapped in bacon) and three glasses of wine! A different card will be taken into account when cashing out!

Unfortunately our server was not kind or friendly to us at all. Our food arrived late at different times with parts missing. The whitewine was not cold. And even after asking if it was possible before to also have food from other places before sitting down, we had to insist on it and we’re not given cutlery for that food (even though it’s quite common to just get food from all the places together). The market place is beautiful to sit at but maybe not this restaurant.

I liked the food it was nice. The sharing platter is enough for 2. There is a lot of difference seafood on it. We also took a starter which were some kind of cheese croquettes that I would also recommend. My only complaint would be that either the was 10€ or the stole from us. Either way it is weird for a 0,75L bottle of water. My bad for not taking the receipt. I would encourage you to do so.

I was completely impressed by the Lesedro fish restaurant. I recently tried the Montenegrin Seafood Platter there and was impressed from start to finish. The outstanding feature of the restaurant is undoubtedly the quality of the food. The Montenegrin Seafood Platter was a true feast for the senses. Fresh, delicate seafood, perfectly prepared and with exquisite flavors made this plate an unforgettable culinary experience. The combination of the different ingredients was simply delicious. I could literally feel the taste of the sea in every bite. The rustic ambience of the market hall in which the restaurant is located gives Lesedro a unique atmosphere. The furnishings, atmospheric lighting and friendly service create a cozy and inviting environment. It is the perfect place to relax with a delicious meal and enjoy the flair of Montenegro. Another advantage of the Lesedro is the excellent price-performance ratio. The portions are generous and the prices are more than fair, especially considering the quality of the food served. You definitely get a lot for your money here. All in all, I can highly recommend the Lesedro fish restaurant. This restaurant is an absolute must. I will definitely come back to try more of their delicious dishes.

We already knew the restaurant when it was still located in Prenzlauer Berg. Today we were here in the market hall for the first time. The food is really good. You can't get better quality anywhere. The boss even made us his bouillabaisse upon request. Simply world class! (Should be ordered by phone in advance as it is not on the menu.) The main course was sea bass. Also really tasty. We would love to come back!!! Great quality and authentic service.

We were there for the first time yesterday and were thrilled. Great location, very nice people, great food and great wine. Everything was perfect for us.

Service is very bad but the fish platter is still a bit out of the ordinary. Drinks weren't that great either and there weren't any oysters at all, which is why we went there specifically🤷🏻‍♂️don't have to repeat it🙈

Hier essen wir immer mal wieder wenn wir in Berlin sind. Es gibt ehrliche Fischgerichte, die sehr schmackhaft zubereitet sind. Ja, nicht wirklich günstig, aber Fisch hat in der Qualität eben auch seinen Preis. Ich finde das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hier durchaus noch passend. Unsere Gerichte waren sehr lecker und nicht nur der Fisch, auch der Wein. :-) Steven aus Magdeburg

The food is really tasty. Everything was well done. We had The fish of the day as and the plat of sea food. the squid and the fish were really good!

Das Ambiente ist sehr toll und die Bedienung war sehr nett. die Qualität der Lebensmittel war sehr gut. Aber wir hatten reserviert und waren zu zweit:und wir haben 90 Minuten auf unsere vier Tapas gewartet, es gab offensichtlich nur einen Koch für die gesamten 22 Leute Der Octopus Salat besteht fast nur aus Salat Blättern und ist dafür definitiv zu teuer. die Gambas waren aus. schon um 20:30 Uhr. Mit einem Bier, einer Flasche Wasser und 5 Tapas , wo Zuviel Salatblätter drauf waren,sind wir wieder hungrig nach Hause gefahren. Schade.

Super frisches und leckeres Essen. Die Zutaten-Kombinationen sind immer absolut stimmig. Das nette Personal versucht jeden Sonderwunsch zu erfüllen und die Atmosphäre passt. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Wenn jemand Fisch liebt, dann ist das die richtige Adresse. Frischer gehts nicht. TK ist dort ein Fremdwort. Es lohnt sich…immer wieder!!!

Really amazing sea food, this place is for true lovers of the Mediterranean cuisine. You can option for the tapas dishes if you feel like you wanna make your pallet dance through all the different tastes or on the other hand there is fresh wild caught fish everyday (you do need to call in if that's what you want) as well as grand sea food plates for a truly gourmet feast. All in all its a combination of simplicity and excellence, highly recommended!

War super, sehr aufmerksame und nette Kellner

Wir hatten nur 4 Tapas für den kleinen Hunger bestellt, alle waren lieblos und ungewürzt, bei Zweien fehlte je eine essenzielle Zutat (u. A. Käse beim Rote Beete Carpaccio) und bei den Feigen-Ziegenkäse war sage uns schreibe nur eine Scheibe Käse auf eine ganze Feige. Die fehlenden Zutaten haben wir noch angefordert, im Nachhinein verglichen mit den Bildern hier und der Speisekarte hätten wir noch mehr direkt monieren müssen. So macht essen gehen keinen Spaß. Für den Preis eine absolute Frechheit! Die Bedienung war sehr nett und bemüht aber das reicht leider nicht um wiederzukommen, empfehlen schon gar nicht, wer Tapas möchte ist woanders besser dran

Super Essen und eine große Weinauswahl. Sehr gerne wieder. Nachtrag nach 5 Monaten: Der heutige Besuch war leider sehr enttäuschend. Die 5 Sterne würden wohl mittlerweile eher so bei 2-3 Sternen liegen. Service und Wartezeit (über eine Stunde) waren leider nicht gut. Essen konnte nur zur Hälfte geliefert werden.

Extrem leckeres Seafood, vor allem die montenegrinische Meeresfrüchteplatte mit allen was das Herz/die Zunge begehrt. Lockere Atmosphäre im Charme der alten Markthalle. Herausragender, sehr persönlicher, aufmerksamer Service. Preis-Leistung top.

Dieses Restaurant bietet köstlichen Fisch und Meeresfrüchte, allerdings zu einem stolzen Preis für sehr kleine Portionen. Einwände zur Portionsgröße ignorierte der Kellner völlig, obwohl meine Partnerin sich vorher erkundigt hatte, wovon man denn satt werden würde, da sie großen Hunger hätte. Wir wurden nachfolgend dann völlig ignoriert, wer noch ein Getränk wollte, musste sich persönlich zum Tresen begeben. Getrennte Rechnungen, obwohl erbeten, waren anscheinend auch nicht möglich. Im Service ist also noch viel Luft nach oben und die Portionen sind eher für Kinder passend. So wie es aussieht, werden wir dieses Restaurant in Zukunft also nicht mehr besuchen und ich kann es auch keinem empfehlen.

It's strange how bad the food was, you could question the ingredient quality.. I paid 30€ for very very dry, weirdly blank plate of seafood and potatoes. It was bad enough for me to complain and this is only the 2nd time I complained about food in my entire life. The staff was friendly and lovely though, but that doesn't help.. I came for the food.

Die Speisekarte ist übersichtlich aber mit interessanten Köstlichkeiten gespickt. Besonders zu empfehlen ist die Meeresfrüchteplatte. Muscheln, Garnelen und Tintenfisch zusammen mit Gemüse. Sehr lecker. Das Ambiente ist markthallentypischen, aber man hat genug Platz und kann sich normal unterhalten. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und bemüht, jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Not that good at all. I unfortunately have to give a negative review. The taste was so so. Atmosphere was not good. Weird music in the beginning. Look and feel of the place very basic. I had the plate with seafood for 30€. The octopus tasted partly burned. I wished it would have been better. It just wasn't.

Einen derart guten, auf den Punkt gebratenen Fisch habe ich schon lange nicht mehr gegessen. Chef erklärt einem was für Fische es gibt und zerteilt auf Wunsch fachgerecht direkt auf dem Teller. Ein Fischrestaurant wie man es sich wünscht.

Bester Fisch, guter Wein. Nicht Preiswert, aber jeden Cent wert.

Neuentdeckung im Kollwitz-Kiez 🐟🦐🦑🍅🍆🥒sehr leckere mediterrane Küche mit Schwerpunkt auf Fisch und Meeresfrüchten und dazu netter, entspannter Service - bisschen unorganisiert. Die Tapas sind sehr frisch, lecker und z.T. sehr ungewöhnlich. Gute Weinauswahl. Ein Punkt Abzug gab es, da Sprite alle war und ein Alster ungefragt mit Fanta kam. Und bei der Aufmerksamkeit (Aschenbecher, Abräumen, wenn alle fertig sind etc.) geht noch ein wenig. Insgesamt dennoch sehr empfehlenswert für einen gelungenen Abend.

It was a sediment in my wine - it may be okay, but I would prefer my glass without it. I tried to get the waiter‘s attention to ask, but after several attempts gave up; my husband finished his meal hungry, though he ordered both portion of fish and a side dish. Seafood was good, but very unlikely we’ll come ever again.

The sea food here is authentically good. Nice wine selection. It's on pricey side for Berlin, but if you're longing for an up-scale mediterranean seafood it's for you. Usually quiet and not too many people (been there twice).

Die Dorade auf der Fischplatte war leider deutlich verdorben. Kann man keinem Gast mehr servieren. Das muss der Koch schon vor der Zubereitung gesehen haben. Immerhin wurde die Dorade vom Preis abgezogen. Aber der Jahrestag mit der Ex war dahin und ein paar Monate später auch die Beziehung. Nachtrag zur Antwort der Gastgeber: Ich kann Ihnen gerne noch die um die verdorbene Dorade korrigierte Rechnung vorlegen oder hier posten, wenn das gewünscht ist? Zu Ihrer Information es war der Abend des 16.12.2017

Nicht umsonst gilt das Restaurant als eines der besten Fischrestaurant in Berlin. Die Seafood Platte für zwei Personen ist sehr empfehlenswert. Dazu schön gelegen direkt am Kollwitzplatz. Reservierung empfohlen.

Beautiful fresh seafood and the type of place where the chef/owner will come out and chat with you about what you are eating and where it was caught. It was like being at somebodies house. Brilliant experience!!! Waitress was also delightfully friendly.

Unser Besuch in Lesendro war für uns ein einzigartiges Erlebnis. Vladimir und sein Sohn haben uns einen wundervollen Abend beschert. Mit bestem frischen Fisch der wirklich köstlich zubereitet war. Der gegrillte Pulpo war ein einziger Traum! Der Abend endete mit dem freundlichsten Gastgeber am unseren Tisch, zwischen Lebensgeschichte und Reisetipps.. The best!!!

Das Lesendro ist ein super schönes Restaurant mit hervorragenden Essen ! Fühlt sich jedes Mal wie Urlaub an. Im Sommer kann man draußen sitzen ab und zu gibt es live Musik- einfach wunderbar. Der Chef ist freundlich und kümmert sich sehr um seine Gäste. Der Fisch ist immer frisch und sehr lecker zubereitet. 100 Punkte und absolut empfehlenswert !

Wir hatten eine Platte für zwei mit Fisch und Meeresfrüchten. Für meinen Geschmack teilweise zu fertig, ungleichmäßig gesalzen. Auch das wäre kein Problem für ein durchschnittliches Restaurant- aber für diesen Preis und die Bewertungen hier waren meine Erwartungen viel zu hoch. Die Muscheln waren geschmacklich unerfreulich. Für mich war auch ein Aspekt: der Geruch im Restaurant erinnerte mich an einen Imbiss . Sonst : Service nett, Weißwein war lecker....

I really enjoyed the conversation with the owner! As for the fish, it was probably one of the best you can find in Berlin (depends on your background, if you are Mediterranean don't expect your home quality) but too expensive for what you get.. :)

Service und Ambiente gut 1-1,5 Sterne Anzug für das Essen, bzw. Preis Leistung Als Vorspeise haben wir uns Muscheln geteilt, die leider nicht gut waren geschmacklich Hauptspeisen waren besser - ich hatte den Tintenfisch, an dem absolut nichts auszusetzen ist, sehr lecker. Das Rinderfilet meiner Freundin war gut, aber nicht für den Preis, war auch noch nicht durch und bei Rückgabe wurde es nochmal gebraten, aber kam kleiner und immer noch blutig zurück (gewünscht war beides mal medium) Insgesamt war es ein sehr netter Abend, aber Luft nach oben bei der Preisklasse

Leckeres Essen und freundlicher Service

Ich war vor ein paar Wochen mit Freunden hier und muss sagen ich war begeistert! Der Inhaber war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir haben eine große Platte mit Meeresfrüchten aller Art bestellt. Insbesondere der Tintenfisch war sehr lecker. Highly recommended!

Essen und Service super!! Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre! Erlebt man in der Form selten mittlerweile in Berlin. Wer gerne Fisch & Meeresfrüchte auf mediterrane Art mag ist hier genau richtig. Un peu cher mais vraiment très bon

I am just speechless from how impressed i am with the service and quality of the food. It was just finger licking good (figure of speech). Will defintely come again to try more of the menus but the King Prawns are a must try.
