The show is funny and very amusing. The matching food is exciting and rounds off the evening's story well. A dinner that not everyone has and is welcome to experience. Since we didn't have a voucher, we were allowed to pay the full price, which is already very demanding. But then the show pulls it out again. Still nothing for every week. We stayed in Düsseldorf's Steigenberger Hotel. The ambience of the show room there is more reminiscent of a dining room on the Titanic. Certainly anything but modern. Even the armchairs were hardly movable because of their weight; something like that was built and used more around the 1940s. You could say that the old paint is gone, but it's still somehow interesting here.

A unique experience - both culinary and visual. It's not boring for a second. We have been there three times now and will be back for the fourth time!

We have already been to the Steigenberger Le petit Chef twice to see or eat. Both shows were great. It was very pleasant that it was never full, so there was no noise or cafeteria feeling. Waiters always very attentive and the animation with the food always transitions perfectly. Of course the food was always great. We would immediately book another film in Düsseldorf.

Unfortunately disappointing and not recommended Unfortunately, our visit to le Petit Chef in Düsseldorf at the Steigenberger was a big disappointment. Despite a hefty price of €811 for four people, the quality left something to be desired in many areas. The food was served cold, which is absolutely unacceptable for a restaurant of this price range. The lactose-free version was particularly disappointing: while the other guests received dessert, I was carelessly served three scoops of sorbet. The difference also became clear at the final chocolate service: everyone got chocolates, but I got half a strawberry, a raspberry and a blackberry - a disproportionate and loveless offer. The ambience also didn't contribute to the feel-good atmosphere. The seat with a view of the hallway and a jacket rack was not very inviting. The service seemed cold and emotionless, as if the employees had no joy in their work. What was particularly irritating was the animation on offer, which was more geared towards children and seemed inappropriate in a 5-star hotel with an inappropriate sound concept. All in all, our visit to this restaurant was a disappointment. For the price we would have expected much more - in service, quality and ambience. Unfortunately we cannot recommend the restaurant

Great idea, terrible implementation. It's absolutely not worth the price. It's a two-hour dinner, of which exactly 12 minutes are entertainment. That's it. Each course is introduced by a small animated chef, but this mini animation lasts no longer than 3 minutes. During the meal the projection remains, but nothing happens anymore. No stories are told. No jokes - in short: you stay far below your possibilities. The only nice thing about the evening was my children's friends. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, really anyone. Watch the videos and save the money. As soon as Disney or an American company addresses this issue, things will be fine. Until then, go to the cinema or stream a nice cartoon, order something to eat or go out for a nice meal afterwards. The sound blares from the projector's cheap speakers. What's also really cheap is that the music runs on a continuous loop, repeating a song over and over again. For the money, eating isn't fun either. The beef fillet tasted like it came from a steakhouse and the elegance was missing for the price.

Ok but just too expensive for almost 400€ for 2 people.!!

The food was good but rather average. We found the "show" rather cheesy - perhaps only for children. We found the price for the evening (€370 for 2 people) overpriced. The drinks prices are cheeky: bottle of water €15, cappuccino €8.50, wheat beer €10.50. We will not recommend it.

The evening (Nov. 24) was a bitter disappointment for us: absolutely overpriced, unmotivated service, average food, far too long breaks between courses, no ambience in this breakfast room, which is also signposted as such at the entrance, wrong starter on the Menu card - when we asked, we were told we didn't know why there weren't any new cards! Last but not least, we weren't even asked if we wanted a café or a digestive. All in all: 840 euros for such a service - or rather non-service - for 4 people is an absolute SCANDAL BETTER NOT VISIT

Great experience! Can absolutely recommend it, it was something very special. The food was probably the best we've ever eaten - really, really good. Service is top, show us something different. We were very excited!

The food was average at best and didn't suit our taste. The dessert only looked nice, but was far too sweet and sticky mush. The “show” only consisted of short films that were projected onto the table by a projector in front of the corridors; You can't impress anyone with that anymore. Drinks are outrageously expensive, overall it is absolutely not worth the price (€600 for 3 people).

Mmm, what can we say - the Evenr is probably a highlight in other cities. In Düsseldorf it is presented listlessly and not worth the docs very ambitious price. For anyone who is interested, don't book the meal in Düsseldorf - we were very disappointed

450€ for two, unfortunately not worth the money... Funny idea and also a nice way to pass the time, but in the end what is on offer for the price of a 2-3 star Michelin menu is no better than any good, home-style restaurant around the corner. In addition, €15 per bottle of water and €20 for a gin and tonic presented in an Upper Bavaria long drink glass, demands and reality simply don't match. Too bad.

Was a really nice evening in interesting atmosphere with tasty food and good service.

The food was of good quality, and the waiters were friendly, but the service was inadequate, that is, there hardly was any service. We had to wait incredibly long for our main course, and we did not have a dessert simply because no one was asking us if we wished to have one. We were seated in a quiet corner of the restaurant and they simply kept forgetting about us sitting there. Quite disappointing for a restaurant of this high price level category (for example 15 euro for a bottle of still water...).

According to the internet, they were supposed to arrive 30 minutes beforehand and the show started 1 hour later. Food was poor The room was boring and monotonous. Service was sufficient I wouldn't recommend it

Unfortunately the experience was not as expected. The food was OK but not worth the money. We would have been better off going to a star restaurant for the money! Sometimes the food was prepared differently (or had different ingredients) than in the video. The service was nice but the quality was simply poor. Drinks were only available upon request. (This is a 5 star hotel) Many guests sat at the table with empty glasses. And the prices are also very reasonable at €19 for a glass of wine. The advertised videos were also funny but only made up 5% of the time and had super poor music quality. and also penetrating background music from very bad speakers... Our conclusion: Don't fall for the advertising and rather go to a star restaurant or other good restaurant for the money. Costs less and the experience is better. And the “le Petit Chef” part is just not as great as you might think from all the Instagram/Facebook advertising

We were greeted warmly and shown to the table. The room was not very attractively decorated. The chairs were very comfortable, but as is usually the case, they were too low for people over 1.85cm tall. In a row there were 4 tables close together for 2 people each and there were another 4 tables for 4 people each. First you get a card for the aperitifs and drinks and a menu card. The first thing you notice is the extremely expensive drinks prices. An aperitif costs 17-19€. A 0.2l cola 7€ 1 bottle of water 15€… The question about the aperitifs was also the only question about our drink requests during the entire menu!!! The food was brought and with only one course we were told what was on the plate. The dishes were very nicely prepared and tasted very good too! There was 1 menu with meat, 1 menu vegetarian and 1 children's menu. The portions were rather manageable…The animation was nice to take part in. In total, the animation took less than 15 minutes, a maximum of 3 minutes per course. Certainly even more beautiful to look at for children. All in all, a very expensive pleasure that you can have seen, but certainly doesn't have to see... We spent almost €380 for the menu, 2 aperitifs, 1 bottle of water and 1 bottle of non-alcoholic beer 0.33 (which wasn't even cold was…)

At first glance, Le Petit Chef is an experience, unfortunately it quickly becomes clear that only short stories present the food as an illusion and then serve it. The reception was friendly, something we have experienced in all good hotels so far. The room was sober with only the animation on the table. Primarily we booked it with the idea for our child, which was not what a child expected. Too few ideas in the animation and food geared towards children. As a mother it wasn't even important to me, the focus was on the child. The drinks prices were overpriced. My Kirl royal with 24 euros a house number. Of course we still enjoyed the evening for ourselves and ignored it. We would conditionally recommend it. We're not a money box at all, but the price/performance ratio isn't quite right.

We were warmly welcomed and it took some time until we were all seated. I think we'll start the show at 6:30 p.m. It was so cute and the kids really loved it. We were there with two children (6 & 7). We specified 2 children's menus. Unfortunately, the kids got the same food as us adults and didn't eat it :( of course we asked, but just said it was children's menu. Drinks were really expensive. There were 4 of us there and spent around 600 euros. It's an experience definitely worth it!

A truly unforgettable and culinary perfect evening

It was an experience. We were there with children and everyone watched with amazement and laughter. We had all three menu options: a vegetarian and children's menu and it was really special. The service was very nice and child-friendly :-)

The food was very tasty but for the price I expected more unusual creations. The service was perfect, super friendly staff. There was a bottle of water and an aperitif for free, which is great, but my conclusion: a nice evening but unfortunately far too expensive.

Ich war heute den 23.12.2023 mit meiner Frau da . Zunächst muss ich sagen das die Bedienung echt klasse war , besonderes Dank geht an Mark und Koray von uns… das sind die Kellner die uns bedient hatten. Klar waren alle nett . Zum Essen.. Wir haben das Weihnachts Menu bestellt. Obwohl wir uns verspätet hatten, haben wir ein Tisch bekommen und unser Essen wurde nachträglich gebracht. Hat uns super geschmeckt. Klar bezahlt man bei solchen Veranstaltungen auch für Ambiente, Personal, lokation usw. deswegen finde ich die preis Leistung noch Grenzwertig. Kann man mal machen . Deswegen von mir 5 Sterne , klar als Musiker bin ich sowas mehr als gewohnt und kann aus Erfahrung sagen, ist echt Wert gewesen. Würde es nochmal machen . Ganz nett, aber wer nur wegen dem Erlebniss mit den Videos kommt, lasst es. Vor jedem Gang kommt ein ca 30sek Video. Keine Zwischen Clips oder ähnliches. Preis Leistung für Entertainment viel zu schlecht. Essen war ganz ok.

Ich muss jetzt hier mal mit den schlechten Bewertungen aufräumen. Wir haben mit 11 Mitarbeitern unsere Weihnachtsfeier hier verbracht am 24.11.2023 und wollten aufgrund der schlechten Bewertungen der letzten 6 Wochen absagen. Wir haben es dann doch gemacht und waren durchweg angetan vom Service 5 Sterne, Film 4 Sterne und Essen 4 Sterne. Es ist ein einmaliges Highlight und für mal war es richtig schön. Unsere Mitarbeiter Ware begeistert und ja es ist “viel” Geld pro Nase. ABER die schlechten Bewertungen hat es wirklich nicht verdient. So this is a cute idea of a dinner show. The tables are under a projector and you watch before each course a little video story on how your dish is created by the little chef. We had a wonderful evening with friends. You clearly pay for the show and it being located at the Steigenberger. The food is banquet food and was luke warm and not seasoned well. For that I thought the prices were quite steep. You pay around $200 per person, which is Michelin star prices. Again, it's cute but the flavor of the food could have been better. To be fair, the portion sizes were huge.

Ich war mit meinem Vater als Geburtstagsgeschenk da. Preislich gesehen ist das ganze natürlich sehr kostspielig, aber meiner Meinung nach ist das Erlebnis es sehr wert. Schade war nur dass auch die vegetarischen Speisen den Film des anderen Menüs hatten und somit der Film nicht immer zum anschließend gegessenen Essen passte.

Nachtrag: da der Anbieter versucht, schlechte Bewertungen löschen zu lassen, lade ich noch Bilder als Beweis, dass wir dort waren, hoch. Dieses Vorgehen passt für mich sehr gut in das Bild des Events/Anbieters. Macht einen großen Bogen darum! Absolut keine Empfehlung. Der Service war nett und die Tischnachbarn ebenfalls, ansonsten bleibt nicht viel positives hängen von dem Abend. Eine Flasche Wasser 12 €, Gin Tonic im lustlosen Kölschglas ohne Deko für 18 € und ein Menü, das sehr lieb- und ideenloser kaum sein könnte. Wir hatten ein veganes Menü als Abwandlung vom Vegetarischen. Selbst an schlechten Tagen schmeckt mein selbst gekochtes Essen besser als das. Und 110€ für ein Essen mit maximal 15 € Wareneinsatz ist einfach eine Frechheit. Wurden maßlos enttäuscht und auch unseren Tischnachbarn mit dem Fleisch und Fisch Menü ging es genauso.

Achtung, die Rezzesion hier entsprechen nicht den Tatsachen. Negative Äußerungen werden versucht zu löschen zu lassen. Ich habe entsprechende Screenshots angehängt. Daher nur noch 2 Sterne anstelle von 3. Orginal: Es hätten 5 Sterne werden können... Zuerst, der Service war vorbildlich. Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt und zu unserem Platz geleitet. Die Atmosphäre des Raumes ist gemütlich und vornehm. Schöne große Tische die zwar nicht perfekt, aber doch sehr ansehnlich eingedeckt sind. Die Videos die vor den Speisen eingespielt werden sind amüsant und wirklich niedlich gemacht, es ist schon ein nettes Erlebnis. Ich habe die Videos von jedem Gang mit hochgeladen, wer neugierig ist kann sich diese gerne angucken. An sich hätte der Service und die Speisen 5 Sterne verdient. Warum ich mich jedoch nicht dazu durchringen konnte war die Tatsache das der Hauptgang mit dem Steak sehr enttäuschend war, leider. Vorab, ich mag keine Möhren. Dies wurde schon bei der Reservierung vorab angegeben und auch tadellos berücksichtigt. Dafür Danke. Fast alle Speisen waren perfekt gegart. Was mich jedoch wirklich verärgert hat ist die Tatsache das mein Stück Steak von Sehnen durchzogen war. Während alle anderen Gäste ein wirklich schönes Filetsteak bekommen hatten, war meins ein total zerfrannstes Endstück. Gut, aussehen ist nicht alles, solange es schmeckt. Jedoch der erste Bissen war schon keine Gaumenfreude, das zweite Stück musste ich leider wieder auf den Teller legen, es ließ sich nicht mal kauen. Ein Mundgefühl wie Knorpel uns Sehnen. Nach dem abräumen des Tellers, auf Nachfrage ob alles in Ordnung sei, gab ich das Problem an. Man wollte es weiter leiten. Leider ist danach nichts passiert. Ich erwartete auch kein zu Kreuze kriechen oder eine überschwängliche Entschuldigung, aber das man zumindest anbietet ein Glas Wein oder den Cappuccino von der Rechnung zu nehmen, das bekommt man bei jeder halbwegs guten Imbissbude angeboten. Wir reden hier immerhin vom Steigenberger Parkhotel, und da kann man bei den Preisen und den angeblich super Service, den man sich hier auf die Fahne schreibt, sowas mindestens erwarten. In einem Steakhaus hätte man so ein verfranstes Stück Fleisch nicht mal rausgegeben. Dazu haben beim Hummer jeweils die kompletten Scheren gefehlt. Kann man wunderbar am Gast sparen, aber in Ordnung ist sowas definitiv nicht. Daher, so leid es mir tut, kann ich nicht mehr als 3 Sterne geben. Evtl. 3,5 Sterne wenn der halbe Hummer noch seine Schere gehabt hätte... Ein Erlebnis ist es allemal wert, aber wenn jemand nochmal Probleme mit einer Speise hat, der sollte dies direkt angeben und den Teller zurück geben. Auf Schadensbegrenzung ist man hier leider nicht bemüht, daher sofort auf das Problem aufmerksam machen...

Ein tolles Erlebnis für Groß und Klein mit leckeren Speisen, die satt machen :-) Die Weinbegleitung ist zu empfehlen!

Das war ein richtig schöner Abend mit tollem Ambiente, sehr sehr leckerem Essen und einer neuartigen Installation, die einfach Spaß gemacht hat. Danke an den Service, der die Menüfolge super umgesetzt hat und sehr freundlich war. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder zur nächsten Show.

Ein toller Abend mit meinem Mann in Düsseldorf bei le Petit Chef. Das Essen hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Das Steigenberger Parkhotel ist eine tolle Location dafür.

Es war einmalig und in jeder Hinsicht wunderbar!! Machen wir auch nochmal, die Idee ist klasse, das Essen hervorragend. Es stimmt einfach alles. Wenn man es kann, dann sollte man es sich auf keinen Fall entgehen lassen. Danke für einen überragensen Abend!!

Unser Essen fand im Steigenberger Hotel in Düsseldorf statt. Es war ein traumhaft schöner Abend. Das Essen war super lecker, die Animation total schön gemacht und das ganze Ambiente stimmte von vorne bis hinten. Weiter so!!!!

Es war ein unvergessliches Erlebnis. Wir haben uns gleich wieder für ein weiteres Event in einer anderen Stadt mit einer anderen Speisekarte geholt. Muss man erlebt haben. Ganz großes Lob auch an das dortige Personal.
