We went there for the first time today because it was my wife's birthday and I wanted something special. Francesco and Valentina really surprised my wife with a starter plate Everything else was also super tasty, we will recommend it to everyone in Cologne and Leverkusen, super nice to children too and the top guy personally brings the things, we felt like family. So gut habe ich schon lange nicht mehr gegessen. Sehr freundliches Personal, das Essen kam im Handumdrehen. Das Ambiente ist jetzt nicht hochkarätig, mir ist gutes Essen aber wesentlich wichtiger. Und das bekommt man hier. Gerade noch einen Platz bekommen, sonst komplett vorreserviert.

Wir waren dort und muss wirklich sagen es war sehr schön das Essen wird ganz frisch zubereitet und sehr lecker und ein gemütliches sauberes Ambienten kann es nur weiter empfehlen wir kommen wieder

I have been here several times and they have been really consistent with the quality of food and service. The tables and chairs are clean and done neatly, so is the WC. I have also brought family and friends here and they too, compliment the food and service of this place. I could not ask for more. I would give another star if there was a place for it. A big thumbs up!!! Update: they changed their location to Fettehenne in case people have been wondering.

Gute und preiswerte italienische Küche im legeren Ambiente des Tennisclubs

Over the years on my trips to Leverkusen I have eaten here many times - it is a pleasant restaurant & I have nearly the same each time I visit .A plate of prosciutto ( always a delight) a pasta dish, a large glass of red wine & a double espresso .With a tip less than 20 euro & you walk back to your hotel satisfied & ready for a good nights sleep.

Sito nel centro di Leverkusen, questo ristorante è sicuramente da consigliare a chi vuole mangiare dei buoni piatti italiani, il menù presenta tante portate di origine italiana (soprattutto pasta) e la qualità che ho riscontrato è stata buona. Porzioni abbondanti e gustose, ad esempio: mi è piaciuta la loro carbonara. Il servizio offerto da una ragazza e un ragazzo, entrambi di origini italiane, è stato cordiale e preciso. Prezzi nella media.

My works colleague and I took the decision to grab a quick lunch at the nearby Le Palme as I remember enjoying a great evening dinner there a few years back. On this occasion I have to be honest that I was rather disappointed. It started well with a friendly welcome and I quickly found a dish which sounded nice - the Penne with Aglio e Olio Peperoncino which I assumed was going to be spicy. I also asked for additional gorgonzola cheese to pep it up a bit further. So I was a bit disappointed when a plate of spaghetti turned up. I guess that my order somehow got lost in translation... But never mind. There was no discussion - the waitress took the spaghetti away and was fairly quickly replaced with the dish that I had ordered even though my companion was well through devouring his pizza. As it was I found my meal to be rather bland, definitely not spicy and swimming in a bit too much of a garlicky liquid. Next time I'll go for a carbonara sauce. Oh, and I washed this down with a passable glass of Primitivo red wine.

Visited while in leverkusen on business, it was a damp dreary Tuesday night and the place was half full of locals. Looked good so popped in. Lasagne was superb and beer was good and cheap. Soup, lasagne, 2 large beers and coffee for 24 euro. Loved it...

Went there to get some dinner late evening. Warm welcome even though the place was crowded. Owner spoke only a little english but we managed to communicate well enought. Ate canneloni, onion tomato salad and a small can of white wine. All of them were very good and tasty. Also got bread and some nice butter with the meal. I would truly recommend this place.

Cozy restaurant with a fairly large selection of pizza and pasta dishes. There were three of us for dinner and we each had an appetizer and an entree with drinks for 60 Euro. The pizza was delicious and reminded me of Italy.

Had to visit Leverkusen for work and found Le Palme through Tripadvisor. The restaurant is small and cosy (in a good way!). The menu is great and so are the prices. The service is also very good. I would definitely go back.

Just spent a very pleasant evening at la Palma. It is not easy finding a place a solo lady who doesn't speak the language can be comfortable and feel welcome. This was the place sitting outside in the cozy terrace people all around enjoying themselves. The host is delightful even though he doesn't understand much of what I am saying 😀 and the food is as good as any I have had in Italy. One suggestion change the plastic chairs for wood.

Small restaurant with very friendly service and good food. The house wine was excellent and the heartfelt service from the owner should make this place an insider.

I had here with a group of 10 other colleagues after a conference in Cologne. The food was great. They start you off with fresh baked bread balls and tasty butter. I then had a mixed salad (very fresh) and homemade pasta. It was a great meal after working an entire day at a busy conference. Definitely check this place out.

I have been here with a group of 8 and it must be said , each one of them had the same experience , the food was really bad. Vitello tonnato was served in a 'soup' of mayonnaise sauce , I could hardly find the meat in it . The suggestion of the house was pro dominantly home made pasta .. the idea of home made got a complete new dimension I can say , it tasted like coming from a microwave and again a sauce that was overdone as if we ordered tomato soup. The positive part is that the owner shows a heartwarming hospitality probably because he knows that he needs to compensate the bad cooking. Do note you can not pay with any non German debit or credit card , European cards are simply blocked in Le Palma.

Small family Italian restaurant in Leverkusen that I found on Tripadvisor. Food is excellent and prices are fair. I had a prosciutto di parma as a starter and pasta carbonara as a main dish: both were excellent!! I recommend you to book your place as on the 2 evenings I went for dinner it was quite fully booked. Will definitely come back next time I stay in Leverkusen, great place (warm and welcoming) and great food !!

Nice little Italian nearby the hotel I was living, the place is nice and clean, the service is nice. The food is good, I put only 3 stars because in my opinion the pasta were too salty but I am use to eat less salty ... The price are definitively low !

Been there several times on business trips, family run Italian restaurant with a long history, dishes are very good & affordable, try the Lamb-rack, just fantastic. All of their pasta's are made fresh so best to make a reservation, actually, its a must.

My colleague and I decided we wanted to eat Italian for our business lunch and I recommended Le Palme - it's close by the office and serves good quality, authentic Italian food in a friendly, warm atmosphere. Our visit wasn't a disappointment. We both ordered tailor made items, showing the great flexibility of the place. I had a light salad of ruccola with tomatoes and balsamic vinegar followed by penne in a rich, yummy gorganzola cheese sauce. I was interviewing that afternoon so no alcohol - just apple juice in sparkling water and a post lunch cappuccino. This is a great place for real good food where you can have a quiet conversation and rely on the service. Perfect.

We accepted a colleagues recommendation to try out Le Palme Italian restaurant in Wiesdorf, Leverkusen but were slightly apprehensive as we were two families including a 15 month old little boy. In fact, initial impressions from outside were not too encouraging - the restaurant is not located in the most salubrious part of town. But we were pleasantly surprised that the restaurant was completely full with dedicated diners on a wet & dreary Friday evening in October and the interior was very welcoming and cosy. We occupied one corner of the place with our party of 6 people and settled down to tackle the litre of house chianti and half litre of house Lambrusco as we poured over the menu. We only ever saw the waiter/owner who was very friendly and tried to meet all our special family needs. Service was a little slow, partly because all the food is cooked freshly which we truly appreciated. We had a complicated order which included carpaccio, a large platter of thinly sliced parma ham, salad, an excellent rack of lamb with loads of garlic, pizza margharita, a huge fish mixture and creamy noodles. It was all well prepared and delicious. We left feeling completely satisfied and full to the brim. What a great way to start the weekend! We'll be back!
