The Lava Stone Grill in Lendringsen-Menden is undoubtedly one of the best restaurants in the region. The meat is incredibly tender, flavorful, and perfectly grilled on the lava stone – truly top-notch quality. The rest of the food is equally impressive, and you can immediately tell that a lot of experience and passion goes into it. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. Highly recommended! The staff is unfriendly and unprofessional. I called to order food from the place because I was at work and couldn't leave. I was told they couldn't deliver my order at the moment, so I said, "Okay, thanks, I'll order somewhere else," and hung up because I wanted my food delivered to the arcade. Five minutes later, an employee from Lavastein came to the arcade and yelled at me, telling me not to argue with him and so on. First, they couldn't deliver my order to the warehouse, which is only two minutes from my work, and then they suddenly show up and yell at me. What kind of behavior is that towards another person, let alone a customer? People, be careful! Next time you order something and it's out of stock, they'll even yell at you on the phone and explain to you what right you have to order from them. I will never order from them again and advise everyone else against it. It's outrageous! ' ... I would like to add this morning that the building owner is threatening me with a lawyer via text message, completely forgetting that cameras at my workplace recorded the entire incident. Instead of apologizing for his behavior, he has become even more insolent.

We're here with the guys for a business meeting. We've eaten here three out of five days, and I can honestly say the food is really good! The gyros are very juicy and delicious. I highly recommend it!

A truly wonderful experience! The food at Lavastein was simply delicious – perfectly prepared and served with love. The owners are a very warm and friendly family who welcomed us with genuine hospitality. Every wish was immediately fulfilled, and we felt completely at home. The generous attention from Leo was particularly nice; he made the evening unforgettable with plenty of ouzo. Highly recommended; we would love to come back!

A super cozy atmosphere. The staff was super friendly. The food was also delicious, with generous portions and a reasonable price.

We waited almost 30 minutes for a pizza and dry pizza rolls. Before ordering, I specifically asked about the price of the pizza rolls, and was quoted €7. When I paid, it suddenly became €11, with the explanation that I had received a "special request" sauce (instead of garlic butter). For me, garlic sauce is absolutely standard with pizza rolls; an additional charge was never communicated. When I politely asked, the manager dismissed me in front of the entire restaurant: "They're new customers with special requests, their first time here—and they don't want to pay right away." I already had the money in hand, but I wanted to understand why the sauce was charged an extra €4. The tone was rude, the treatment rude. The snack bar is very simple, not a place where you can justify paying €11 for a couple of bland rolls with butter. A look at previous reviews unfortunately also shows that criticism is not handled professionally. Instead of factual answers, there are condescending comments about the guests' "character" or speculation about their food habits, which I find completely out of place and not customer-oriented. For me, it was the first and certainly the last time.

Dear Theo, first of all, I congratulate you on your wonderful family. Such solidarity is unfortunately too rare these days. I came to you as a child, and now my children come with you. You're not just a guest, but a part of your family. The food is prepared with love, which you can taste. Special requests are 100% fulfilled, no matter how complicated they sometimes seem. One of the best Greek snack restaurants far and wide! Theo has been making everything with love for many years. Here, you're supporting a wonderful family with heart. Particularly delicious: baked gyro with hollandaise sauce or the hollandaise schnitzel.

I was more than disappointed... You come in and it's an old snack bar, the food that was taken away was almost inedible. 3 taxi plates were picked up. Not even KiK would sell the sausage, the gyros were sometimes very gristly, hard or mushy and fatty. The curry sauce must have been diluted several times as it was as thin as it was. Sorry, but there really is a better way

Portions small and lean just like the person sitting opposite me. Although it had something different, it was more like a senior's plate for people who aren't hungry. Tzaziki was far too thin on the dishes, cabbage wasn't a highlight. Corrected order was wrong again! As a customer, this is too complicated for me.

After the snack seller suggested a pita that had nothing to do with a pita (farmer's pita), I canceled the order for a pita with cabbage, gyros and tzatziki. What I got was a farmer's pita which I had already canceled. The bread was very thin with a hint of something that didn't even taste like tzatziki. There was no herb. It was only available upon request for an additional charge, which makes a normal pita overpriced. The pita was completely inedible. I had to rinse my mouth several times afterwards. However, I only went there because my favorite snack bar on Fröndenberger str is on holiday. Not even worth 1 star. Not compatible with taste.

There are still Bifteki plates under 10 euros here! Of course everything has become more expensive, but some snack bars are twice as expensive.

Fand es jetzt nicht wirklich überragend. Das Ambiente lässt zu wünschen übrig, was natürlich nichts über die Qualität des Essens aussagt. Im allgemeinen hat es mir leider nicht so geschmeckt. Wenn ich mal wieder in der Nähe bin, schaue ich mal wieder rein. Über die anderen Gerichte wie Pizza und Schnitzel kann ich keine Aussage treffen. Wenn ich zum Griechen gehe, esse ich Griechisch.

Tolles griechisches Restaurant. Bin seit vielen Jahren sehr gerne hier und nie enttäuscht worden. Es schmeckt frisch und lecker und das auch meinen Kollegen. Der Service und das Angebot stimmen, griechische Gastfreundschaft inklusive. Immer wieder gerne und Καλή όρεξη 🇬🇷

Waren vor kurzen da und es ist wie zu meinen kindheits Tagen. Einfach freundliches und herzliches miteinander dort. Preislich wie auch geschmacklich passt es gut hawaii schnitzel schmeckt wie damals es schön zu sehen das sich der Laden weiterhin hält und seine Art und liebe voller Umgang statthaft ist . Im nächsten Urlaub sind wir wieder da.

Selten habe ich ein solch erschwingliches und leckeres Essen gegessen. Der Bifteki Teller war prall gefüllt, gut durchgegrillt. Das Personal war äußerst freundlich und geduldig zudem haben die Angestellten einen guten Umgang mit Kindern. Es wird häufig über das Ambiente gemeckert aber ich finde Leben und Leben lassen, jedem so wie es einem gefällt.

Eine Renovierung würde nicht verkehrt sein. Gyros war ok, aber auch nicht mehr. Hatte leider mega Sodbrennen danach.

Super lecker und voll nett essen da sehr oft und genug auf dem Teller gibt es da auch und der preis ist nomal geblieben.

Sehr lange Wartezeiten. Die Einrichtung im Zubereitungsbereich war renovierungsbedürftig und wirkte leider dadurch irgendwie unsauber. Das Essen selbst war ok, aber auch nicht mehr. Würde nicht wieder hingehen.

Wir haben vor vier Tagen Essen bei Euch zum mitnehmen geholt und haben uns sehr darauf gefreut ,da wir wissen das es bei Euch immer super lecker war, aber dieses Mal war es sehr enttäuschend außer der Reihe habe ich mal Pommes genommen, sonst bevorzuge ich immer den Reis da Pommes unter der Verpackung halt weich werden, aber die waren leider zimlich hart und das Gyros trocken und hart,auch der Geschmack war nicht so wie wir es von Euch kennen.Die Bedienung war so nett und höflich wie immer nur die Qualität stimmte leider nicht,was wir schade finden.
