We were here spontaneously for breakfast brunch today. We'll definitely be back. Great selection. There is something for everyone. Warm dishes are absolutely amazing, fresh and delicious. Coffee and tea are available as much as you want. The restaurant itself is modern and rustic. We are really looking forward to the next time and then with good friends.

We always like to come back because great food in a warm atmosphere makes you forget about everyday life.

Unfortunately, a lot has changed with the change of ownership. We used to like to treat ourselves to brunch 2-3 times a year. The staff always made us feel welcome and like we were visiting old friends. Today we were there promptly at 10, most of the staff didn't arrive until around 10:30. The music was so loud that you couldn't hold a conversation and the same song played for a good 20 minutes. When asked, there was a change and it became quieter. Apart from us, there were a maximum of 20 other people there at the beginning. In order to order a coffee specialty (not included in the brunch), we still had to speak to the waiter ourselves after waiting 10-15 minutes and were initially told that there was no á la carte today instead of asking WHAT we would like to order. We were used to this in a much different way than before. The selection and the food itself were ok (many of the warm dishes were clearly over-seasoned), but the overall impression was rather disappointing and no comparison to the warmth that we so appreciated here. We probably won't be coming back for a while.

Ordered a burger, pommes and carbonara, pommes were good, burger 5/10. In carbonara we found a short hair in the middle of the dish, they offered to redo the dish, but my appetite was already gone, we have got a bottle of coke as compensation.

Food great Price-performance is also completely okay But unfortunately the service isn't great and the waiting time for the order is a bit too long. Therefore only 4 stars

We made reservations several days in advance and the reservation was confirmed. Well, this morning we arrived promptly at 10, unfortunately we found ourselves in front of locked doors. Everything was dark, and despite repeated calls, no one answered the phone. After waiting 15 minutes it became too much for us. We went somewhere else. It's a shame, we were really looking forward to brunch.

We had to wait an hour for our food. It was only after asking several times where our food would be that there was any movement. Each time a different waiter came to us, but no one could tell us where our food was. In general, the waiter in charge of us came across as very confused and disoriented. We won't be coming back again.

Tasty Tex-Mex food in a stylish ambience in the middle of Remscheid. A little more expensive, but still okay. We'd love to come back.

Totally over salted spaghetti. Almost all of the dish was returned. After we refused a replacement, the court still had to be paid. Something like that doesn't work at all. That was our last visit!

I have never eaten as deliciously as I did there in my life. The food is incredibly good. Service very friendly. Next time I'll come with my children because it's also very child-friendly here. 😊

I would prefer to give 0 stars. I was there today with a friend and the waiter was extremely rude. I have never experienced anything like it. I had ordered a burger and since we had a misunderstanding with the order, he loudly started to blame me, even though I had clearly told him that I wanted a burger and not just a plate of pieces of meat. I was extremely ashamed. Something like that is anything but professional. I really can't recommend this restaurant purely Conscience recommend. As more guests arrived, the waiter suddenly became completely different and friendly. I'm just speechless and disappointed. Never again.

Absolute disaster on Saturday lunchtime! Waiters don't know where the back and the front are...40 minutes until the drinks come :( The worst are the burgers. Soft and prepared without love. Burrito really good! The beer tastes like they just cleaned the pipe…. It's a shame that it has declined so much.

The food tasted good and the service was friendly, but it took a long time. On the one hand, it is commendable to allow customers to pack the remaining food to take away, but on the other hand, it is then expected that the dishes of several guests are packed SEPARATELY and not all together in a single form

The three of us were there on a Saturday afternoon. The shop was relatively busy, but unfortunately there was only one waiter who was just on his second day there. The poor guy really couldn't keep up, it had been over 35 minutes before we had our first drink. Food was brought beforehand and it doesn't work at all. Cocktails could not be consumed because the "bartender" wasn't there yet. The burgers were less than average, buns just limp, little sauce, carelessly prepared. Burnt sweet potato fries. We ordered sour cream and got plain sour cream?!?! The tables next to us also probably had their empty plates in front of them for over half an hour because there was no time to clear them away. Generally a nice location, but the kitchen and the staffing needs to be worked on urgently.

A very nice restaurant. Friendly, attentive service staff. Extensive menu. Whether pasta, pizza, burgers, schnitzels, salads, finger food and ice cream and cakes, there is something for every taste. Great breakfast and brunch buffet. The prices are moderate. There's just one little thing that bothers me. It's very dark.

I don't go to Remscheid often but it was worth it. The noodles were delicious and the service was good too.

Great service, great food, great drinks. The service man had everything under control. Waiting time for food and drinks was short, even though the restaurant was well occupied. No sign of rush. In addition to all the other dishes, there is also Mexican food, which I rarely find in this area. Yummy. Prices very reasonable and cheap. And the ambience is very appealing. Only the music could be a little quieter because the many people there make it a bit difficult to follow conversations over 2 meters.

The Bar Beya is a very nice place, we had a pleasant evening. The pizzas are simply great, great fluffy dough and between us girls we could have shared one 😄 The cocktails were super tasty and the price-performance ratio was just right. We look forward to the next visit 😊

The restaurant is really very modern and nice and big. The waitress always tries to respond to requests. Unfortunately, there are no experienced staff available. The food is generally quite good. Unfortunately, the loud volume is a bit annoying. Then I'd love to come back again and again. The audience is mostly mixed, but on weekends the younger crowd tends to be represented. It can happen sometimes; that you reserved a table for brunch, but the shop was closed when you arrived.

Good service - there is always a place to be found if you want to go there spontaneously! So far, no dish has disappointed, portions are sometimes almost too generous, always served hot and quickly when ordered.

If you don't know where to go in Remscheid, Bar Beya is always there. Great atmosphere, good food and drink selection. Service friendly and attentive. We celebrated our birthday here again on Saturday evening with 14 people. Bar Beya was well filled and we were still served very attentively and friendly. Food and drinks came appropriately, and if there was a little something wrong, it was immediately sorted out. We had a great evening! Big praise and many thanks to the Bar Beya team!

I would like to thank the bartender for the delicious cocktails. If there was a scale of 1/10 I would give it a 100. Our best waiter for service and just fabulous overall. Then the younger waitress with the initial letter N. also fabulous. The ambience is awesome.

It's been a while since I've been to Bar Beya. The atmosphere is really nice and the staff is very nice. However, I was really disappointed with the food. The western burger was dry and the patty was rather rubbery. For a 12 euro burger I have a) eaten much better burgers and b) I would actually expect a homemade patty and a good bun. The fries were also just average. The dips were good.

Service was friendly and the food was served pretty quickly too. Unfortunately the schnitzels were well fried and more crispy than tender. But the side dishes were only lukewarm. In terms of taste, it's more of a quick snack. All in all, far too expensive for, in my opinion, “takeaway food”. Ambience okay, just a bit dated here and there. Generally nice location, just needs some sprucing up. Was there, was ok but probably not a repeat visit .

Update: The food on offer has deteriorated again and despite the good location and the actually nice atmosphere, I will no longer visit this shop. You can make more of it, but frozen foods and other ready-made products are probably fine for enough other guests. This way I could cook at home without having to go out to eat and spend a lot of money.
