Das Essen war lecker und auch das Ambiente hat uns im Großen und Ganzen gefallen, leider war der Service nicht wirklich aufmerksam und die Wartezeiten waren teils recht lang.

Wir waren nach einem Spaziergang im Burgholz zu Kaffee und Kuchen hier eingekehrt und sind total zufrieden gewesen. Freundliche Bedienung und leckeren Kuchen.

Ruhiger und gemütlicher Ort, innen und außen. Der Kuchen ist einfach lecker. Am Wochenende gibt es ein tolles Kuchenbüffet mit süßem und salzigem Angebot. Eine kleine Oase im Wald

Sehr leckeres und vielfältiges Buffet zu einem fairen Preis

Wir haben gestern den 94. Geburtstag meiner Oma, mit einem Mittagessen, im Landhaus Café Haus Honigstal gefeiert. Wir, 7 Personen, haben das indische Reisgericht (Biryani) mit Hähnchen, Burger, Salat und Rindergeschnetzeltes mit Reis bestellt. Alle waren mit dem Essen sehr zufrieden. Das Ambiente, sowohl innen als auch außen, ist gemütlich und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Der Service, war trotz 40 Grad (Außentemperatur), großartig. Vielen Dank an das Team.

Ob drinnen oder draußen, man sitzt in märchenhafter Atmosphäre, die Ohren werden vom Summen der Bienen und dem Zwitschern der Vögel verwöhnt, sowie der Gaumen von köstlich abwechslungsreichen Speisen ❣️ Wir kommen immer wieder gerne her, sowohl zum Essen, als auch zum Übernachten 🥰

Wir waren gestern während des ersten Länderspiels der deutschen Mannschaft bei der WM in diesem Restaurant. Obwohl ein Fernseher vorhanden war, wurde das Spiel für die Gäste leider nicht eingeschaltet. Das wäre an sich vielleicht noch nachvollziehbar gewesen, allerdings war zusätzlich der Handyempfang im Restaurant sehr schlecht, sodass man das Spiel auch nicht über das eigene Smartphone verfolgen konnte. Ein WLAN-Passwort wurde ebenfalls nicht zur Verfügung gestellt. Besonders enttäuschend war, dass die Belegschaft das Spiel offenbar in der Küche geschaut hat. Aus der Küche hörte man immer wieder Rufe, Lachen und Reaktionen zum Spiel, während die Gäste keinerlei Möglichkeit hatten, mitzuschauen. Das empfanden wir als sehr unglücklich und wenig gastfreundlich. Gerade bei einem solchen Ereignis hätte man entweder den Fernseher für alle einschalten oder zumindest offen kommunizieren können, warum dies nicht möglich ist. So entstand leider der Eindruck, dass das Personal das Spiel genießen durfte, die Gäste aber außen vor blieben.

Es ist ein absolut wunderschöner Ort, liebevoll eingerichtet und mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet, um eine warme und gemütliche, aber dennoch luxuriöse Atmosphäre zu schaffen. Wir haben dort ein wunderbares Mittagessen genossen und werden ganz sicher wiederkommen, um das Buffet zu probieren!

Ein Kleinod in wuppertal.wir sind durch Zufall darauf gestoßen. Es gibt keine schönen Cafés mehr. Hier ist eins. Zudem landschaftlich wunderbar gelegen. Ein tolles Ambiente, toller Kuchen, eine Speisekarte für jeden Geschmack und -besonders herauszuheben- extrem freundliches Personal. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne hierher und können es jedem nur empfehlen!

Wir waren heute im Landhauscafé Honigstal. Wir haben einen Salat ohne Zwiebeln (Allergie) und mit Essig-Öl-Dressing bestellt. Nach 45 Minuten Wartezeit (bei vielen freien Tischen draußen) war noch nichts serviert. Auf Nachfrage erhielten wir von der jungen, weiblichen Servicekraft keine Entschuldigung. Wir hatten noch einen Folgetermin und merkten dies auch an. Statt auf direktem Weg zur Küche zu gehen, nahm sie erst noch weitere Bestellungen auf. Also warteten wir weiter. Schließlich kam eine junge, männliche Servicekraft an unseren Tisch und fragte, ob uns niemand aus der Küche informiert habe. Wir verneinten erstaunt und fragten, worüber wir hätten informiert werden müssen. Der junge Mann sagte, das Dressing sei mit Zwiebeln. Auf die Frage, ob es denn nicht frisch zubereitet wird, wurde verneint, man könne ja nicht alles frisch zubereiten. Eine ambitionierte Küche hätte dies sicher möglich gemacht, denn ein Essig-Öl-Dressing ist bekanntlich kein Hexenwerk! Da wir nach der langen Wartezeit für einen Salat (!) sowie fehlender, direkter Information "bedient" waren und man uns offensichtlich nicht lösungsorientiert und zeitlich angemessen entgegen kommen konnte, wollten wir unsere Getränke bezahlen. Zum krönenden Abschluss hörten wir vom jungen Mann wortwörtlich (!) den Satz "Suchen Sie sich ein Restaurant, wo Sie einen Salat nach Wunsch bekommen!"! Dabei breit grinsend. Obwohl hier mehrere Faux-pas von Seiten der Lokalität passierten, verhielt man sich, als ob wir als Gäste/Kunden einen "Fehler" gemacht hätten, indem wir um einen Salat ohne Zwiebeln baten (was in keinem mir bekannten Restaurant jemals ein Problem darstellte)! Kein Wort der Entschuldigung. Unangemessen, unprofessionell und absolut nicht kundenorientiert! Da ist man wirklich sprachlos.

Today was absolutely fantastic...everything was perfect, same feedback from my guests.

A fantastic experience staying in a very large and comfortably furnished apartment, complete with a kitchen, washing machine, and dryer. The American breakfast was also superb, with a wide variety of delicious bakeries and two extra large bedrooms. The American breakfast was also very diverse and delicious, featuring many great and innovative bakeries. It was worth every penny. We'll definitely be back.

We've been there before for waffles and cake, which is really great – fresh, delicious, and made with love! We'd gladly come back for that. Unfortunately, dinner was disappointing. The wait was very long, and the roast goose leg was tough and dry. For around €30, the portions were also quite small – the value for money just wasn't there. It's a shame, because the café actually has a lot of potential. It's absolutely recommendable for breakfast or coffee and cake, but we probably wouldn't come back for dinner.

Unfortunately, the food was truly awful. On top of that, we had to wait over 1.5 hours, even though the restaurant was practically empty. We had first been there for coffee and waffles and were absolutely delighted. That's why we were so keen to come back for dinner. What can we say? It was a complete disaster, and for a lot of money. We ordered an appetizer, but it didn't arrive until after the main course. And the appetizer that finally did arrive was truly outrageous. When we asked about it several times, the only response was always, "It's coming right up." I would have been so embarrassed to serve the appetizer after the main course, especially since it was so bad. The main course was just as bad. The goose tasted like it had been kept warm somewhere all day and then reheated. Tough and tough. A single dumpling for 35 euros didn't make it any better. The other dishes were also disappointing. The potato gratin was cold, and they didn't even ask how we wanted our steak cooked. That's what I really expect at these prices. At the end, we were asked how the food was, and we honestly said we weren't satisfied. We were offered a complimentary dessert, but we declined because we'd already had enough bad food. That seemed to be the end of it for the waitress, although she said she'd let the kitchen know. We definitely won't be going back.

The brunch was great. A wide selection and delicious food.

The staff are super friendly and attentive, even when you're stressed. The ambiance is cozy and you immediately feel at home. There's a large selection of cakes, all lovingly prepared and served. The café is very popular, so reservations are recommended. Afterwards, you can either wander through the small shop and discover and purchase lovely items, and/or head out for a walk in the adjacent woods.

Six of us went there for the lunch buffet. The food was good, varied, and there was something for every taste. The atmosphere and service were excellent.

We stopped by for dinner on a whim. The hot dishes and cakes were very good, and the prices were absolutely reasonable. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, and the beer garden looks great too. We will definitely come back to try the high tea.

There were four of us for dinner on October 11th. Everyone was satisfied and we really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and the truly friendly service.

We were absolutely thrilled with this little house! It exudes such a homely and peaceful atmosphere that you can immediately unwind. It's the perfect place for a relaxing holiday. We will definitely come back!

There were three of us there for coffee. We didn't have to wait and were shown directly to our tables and asked for something to drink. When the coffee buffet opened, there was no rush. All the guests went slowly and in an orderly fashion; there was no pushing or shoving. What I personally missed for the savory meal was some vegetables and scrambled eggs or a couple of boiled eggs. The cakes/tarts and muffins were really delicious and beautifully presented. I didn't have the waffle because I ate some of the other food and didn't want to throw anything away if I couldn't eat it. Even though it's not really worth it for me (I had a stomach operation and basically no stomach anymore)), I'll be back.

We spontaneously arrived as a couple with our dog around 12:30 PM on a weekday. We and our dog were greeted warmly and assigned a table. We immediately responded to the friendly reminder about the lunch buffet and tried all the dishes. There was vegetarian food, as well as meat and poultry. The selection was more than sufficient for us, but not so extensive that you feel like something has to be thrown away at the end of the day. Every dish was refilled before it was finished. We loved that! The dishes varied from Italian pasta (panna di cucina) to hearty fare (pork knuckle, sauerkraut, mashed potatoes) to oriental-spiced dishes (curry rice). There was also a very good dessert (chocolate cream). The beautifully prepared cakes/tarts (not included in the lunch buffet) appealed to us, but that would have been too much. The staff was friendly and regularly asked about any further requests. So we didn't go long without new drinks. The ambiance is very nice, and my wife really liked the decor. The restrooms were very clean, and there was water, soap, and paper towels (unfortunately, you have to point this out in reviews these days). There's parking in front of the inn, but we were walking. However, the access from Wuppertal should be checked in advance, as some access routes are now dead ends. There might be more information on the restaurant's website. The price was fine for both of us, especially since the quality was good. It's always cheaper... but then it's "cheaper." :) We'd love to come back, but we'd prefer to reserve a table on a holiday or weekend. I can well imagine the place being completely full on days with a buffet/breakfast/teatime!

We went there for an American breakfast brunch. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. A great location, perfect for a stroll afterward. Super delicious food, fresh ingredients, and the Friesian tea tastes amazing.

We went to the Landhaus Café for high tea and left very satisfied. Despite having a reservation, we were able to change our table without any problems to a quieter corner. The owners and staff were super friendly, and the typical high tea was served right after we arrived. We really enjoyed the (seasonal) selection of small cakes, scones, and sandwiches and enjoyed them even more. Even though the menu states that the tea is not included in the high tea, we would have expected it at that price. ;) But it didn't detract from our lovely afternoon at the café. Overall, we would happily recommend the café and this certainly won't be the last time we visit.

Wonderful place to drink coffee and especially tea.

Due to construction work, we couldn't find the entrance. So we called the café. An incompetent woman there told us we could all get there by bus. It should be noted that a truck was parked right in front of the entrance. We had a disabled person on board... What a shame...

Simply great, fantastic, I can't think of anything else at the moment, what a pity.

A definite recommendation. As a "greeting from the kitchen," they served a small tomato soup, which I thought was a lovely idea. The service was quick and organized, yet still took their time with the guests and seemed very relaxed and cheerful, creating a truly comfortable atmosphere. I felt very welcome. The selection of dishes and drinks pleasantly surprised me! A creative, well-balanced combination with some original options. My ordered dish (savoy cabbage roll with mushroom risotto) was truly delicious, and the side salad was also unusual and very tasty. All the dishes that were brought out to the other guests looked equally fantastic. The interior is cozy and attractively decorated. The outdoor seating is also wonderful. It's definitely worth coming here.

Unfortunately, we had to wait over an hour and a half for our food, even though it wasn't busy. Furthermore, when we asked for water for dogs, they didn't provide it. It's a shame.

Ended up here unexpectedly, great ambiance, delicious food, top-notch service, and fantastic service. Thanks to La Dolce Vita in Wuppertal, who refused to serve food around that time. I looked this Landhaus up on Google, and absolutely no regrets, top-notch, top-notch.

My partner and I went to the Landhaus Café today for lunch. I had a salmon and spinach quiche, and my partner had a burger. It was the most delicious quiche I've ever eaten, and I've tried quite a few. The side salad was beautifully presented and tasted fantastic with the homemade yogurt dressing. The beer was also very juicy and extremely delicious. We had to wait a while due to the busy schedule, but that wasn't a problem, as we were well looked after with a welcome from the kitchen (vegetable soup with bread). The service was very attentive and friendly, and you can tell these people love their jobs. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and we felt very comfortable. We've reserved the coffee klatsch for next Sunday, as it was just being set up and looked very inviting. Highly recommended!

Hello. I don't think anyone could be more disappointed.😔 I've seen it several times on Google Maps and marked it as a 'would-be' place, but there probably won't be a second visit unless this 'service person' is replaced. Let's start with the positives: 1. The restaurant is super cozy and inviting inside. 2. The buffet was very nice and appetizingly presented and decorated. These two points were the main reason for coming to you. The same applies to the lavish cake buffet, as advertised online, but unfortunately didn't correspond to the reality on site (unless the funeral crew had already largely taken care of it, which shouldn't come across as disrespectful). Now for the service: We called in advance to ask if we could bring our dogs to dinner, which they confirmed. We were free to choose our table, so far so good. The waiter told us several times that it might take a little longer because he was the only one there. We had the lunch buffet and drinks. The food looked good and tasted delicious, too. Which should have encouraged us to come back more often. I then asked about the cakes, but was immediately told that they weren't part of the lunch, which I had already guessed. Unfortunately, they were only in a glass display case and not as nicely arranged as a buffet in the photos. Well, probably because of the bees or wasps. Now, unfortunately, the negative aspects, which I probably would have understood if it had been full. But when we arrived, there were only three tables occupied outside, plus the mourning group inside. Even I could have managed that. But things turned out differently. When I asked the (only) waiter inside about the cake, whether you take it yourself or he does, he said he'd bring it out right away, and I then immediately ordered tea to go with it. It took about 20 minutes for the cake to arrive (I was about to come in and ask if I should come in to bake it again, because it might have been eaten by then), but then he came out with the cake. Unfortunately, without the tea, which then came another 45 minutes later, when the cake had long been consumed. Maybe I'm looking at this the wrong way, but if someone told me they were busy and alone, then I would be wearing roller skates (or rather, pianos), and if I were bringing in dishes, I would immediately write down the guests' orders and hand them over to the kitchen to ensure quick service and ensure guests don't have to wait long. But he would have been more likely to be seen as a guest himself, the way he crept along so slowly, casually, and inattentively. All the guests who arrived outside much later had their food on the table before we did our tea and cake. I don't know if you, as the owner of the café, were there, but that waiter really spoiled the overall impression. 😏😔 It was also a shame that the floor there was very sloping. But that was rather irrelevant. We would like to give the beautiful ambiance a second chance, but not while that temporary waiter is making his rounds. Best regards, despite everything, but unfortunately there's still a lot of room for improvement. It's a shame.

We had already made a reservation six days in advance to get a seat in the café with a wheelchair, and it was confirmed. Only today, the reservation couldn't be found! They had to clear a table to accommodate us. Unfortunately, the wheelchair was now more in the way and a bit of a nuisance. As an apology, we were given our first drinks free. Later, we were able to sit at another table, which was definitely better. But somehow, as it gets busier, it gets increasingly louder and, above all, more chaotic. Everyone is running around in confusion. Even the cake, which is at most three fingers wide, costs €4.50. That's too much for such a slice. The waitress who checked our bill was also overwhelmed; we had things on the bill that we didn't order. Great atmosphere, but the rest of the menu still has a lot of room for improvement. We've been there three times now.

My previous review: Excellent location but sadly I would give it a low score on food taste. Don't order anything Indian. They just make anything and give it a fancy Indian name. I tried basil cream sauce pasta - it wasn't worth it. I am really sad with the food and that's what we went there for. You need to explore outside what the dishes actually look like and how they taste. For a good ambiance and drinks it's a great place but certainly not for food unless you haven't tried and tested it already. So today (July 8, 2025) - After an unexpected and rude response from this place about how could I write a rude comment, this is my reply to you in German: Surely everyone is free to express themselves. I think that's why we have this forum, to give feedback. Isn't that right? This is a platform for giving feedback. Please don't take my comments negatively. My rating is based solely on my experience. I speak for myself, not for others. I don't know how many people eat biryani there. What's right is right, and I have every right to write on this open platform. It's nothing to be offended about. Open forums are there to express opinions. You may have an Indian chef, but not every chef is an expert in all cuisines. Thank you.

We went to the Landhaus for the first time for an American brunch. It was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was very pleasant. The service was attentive.

A cute restaurant/café with historic value. Very friendly staff, lovingly prepared food. We were there for the lunch buffet, which offered a good selection of hot dishes and, especially given the hot weather, antipasti and a wide variety of salads. For dessert, we had red fruit compote with vanilla sauce. I finished off with a freshly brewed filter coffee. The à la carte menu also looked delicious. We'd love to come back to try the other delicacies.

The visit with seven people wasn't all that great. I mean, the service staff were nice and friendly, but it didn't really work. It was busy, but not overly crowded. The burgers were cold. We had ordered fries as a side order, which weren't brought promptly, even when we asked for them. When the burger was almost finished, we told the server that we didn't need the fries anymore. Shortly after, they were finally delivered. Unfortunately, we weren't asked for more drinks. Only when we wanted to pay, and once again expressed our displeasure, were we offered a drink on the house to compensate for the mistake. In my opinion, that should have happened much sooner, because by that point, we were already about to leave. We'll see if and when we give you another Chang's.

The brunch is highly recommended. A lovingly prepared and extensive buffet with delicious bread and all the trimmings. The homemade meat salad and cheesecake were especially delicious.

Definitely recommended! Large "American" buffet, the garlic mushrooms were excellent, scrambled eggs were very good, rolls and bread were of very good quality, and there was also cream cheese with salmon. Various jams, butter in chunks (not in small packets), boiled eggs under original warming figures, various sweets, delicious cheesecake, ... Attentive and friendly service. If I have a slight complaint... The filter coffee (we ordered it in a pot) was a bit thin, which can happen. The quark balls were not recommended; dry, with no filling. But that was the only thing that was "disappointing."

Muttertag ruiniert – enttäuschend, überfordert, absolut nicht kinderfreundlich Wir waren an Muttertag zum Brunch hier und ich bereue es zutiefst. Eigentlich wollten wir einen schönen, entspannten Vormittag verbringen, wie es die Fotos und die Beschreibung des Restaurants versprochen hatten. Doch was wir erlebt haben, war das komplette Gegenteil eine überforderte, unorganisierte und kinderunfreundliche Enttäuschung, die absolut nicht dem entspricht, was öffentlich dargestellt wird. Schon beim Ankommen war das Restaurant viel zu voll, stickig, laut und dunkel. Von der angeblichen Kinderfreundlichkeit war rein gar nichts zu spüren es gab keine Spielecke, kein altersgerechtes Spielzeug, nur ein paar alte, unvollständige Brettspiele, mit denen ein zweijähriges Kind gar nichts anfangen kann. Mein Kind war völlig gelangweilt, weinte die meiste Zeit, weil es einfach keine Beschäftigung gab. Entspannung? Fehlanzeige. Ich war komplett gestresst und das ausgerechnet am Muttertag, wo man sich ein bisschen Wertschätzung und Ruhe erhofft hätte. Dass ein Restaurant gerade an so einem Tag kein Konzept für Familien mit Kindern hat, obwohl genau das beworben wurde, ist ein echtes Armutszeugnis. Das Buffet war eine Frechheit für 25 € pro Person ohne Getränke! Die Auswahl war lächerlich gering, viele Speisen waren entweder nicht durch (z. B. Bratwürstchen) oder in einem traurigen Zustand (zermatschte Kuchenstücke, unappetitliche Präsentation). Das, was man auf den Bildern sieht, hat mit der Realität überhaupt nichts zu tun da fühlt man sich regelrecht getäuscht und verarscht. Frisches Obst? Fehlanzeige. Auf Nachfrage hieß es: „Kommt später.“ Aber wenn man nur eine bestimmte Zeit zum Brunchen hat, bringt einem „später“ rein gar nichts. Ich bin genau einmal zum Buffet gegangen, meine Kinder haben fast nichts gegessen und trotzdem wurde voll kassiert. Das Personal wirkte überfordert und unorganisiert. Teilweise wurde man nicht richtig verstanden, weil manche Mitarbeiter kaum Deutsch sprachen was es schwer machte, überhaupt einfache Bitten zu äußern. Einer der Angestellten gab sogar offen zu: „Wir haben heute einfach zu viele Gäste aufgenommen, das schaffen wir nicht.“ Wenn man weiß, dass man es nicht stemmen kann, warum überbucht man dann gnadenlos? Das geht einfach gar nicht. Und der Umgang mit Kritik? Unfreundlich, abweisend, ohne jede Einsicht. Anstatt ein ernstes Gespräch zu führen, wurde einem halbherzig ein Getränk „aufs Haus“ angeboten wohl eher, um Diskussionen zu vermeiden. Ehrlich gesagt: Das war eher eine Beleidigung als ein Entgegenkommen. Ich wollte keine Geschenke, ich wollte einfach nur die Leistung, die versprochen wurde. Die Krönung: Man hatte das Gefühl, dass das Personal nicht wirklich interessiert war, eine Lösung zu finden. Diskussionen wurden abgeblockt, als sei der Gast selbst schuld an der schlechten Erfahrung. Meine Kinder waren enttäuscht, ich war enttäuscht und alles in allem war dieser Besuch einfach nur belastend. Wie dieses Restaurant zu so vielen guten Bewertungen kommt, ist mir ein Rätsel. Vielleicht war es früher mal gut aber das, was wir erlebt haben, war schlichtweg nicht akzeptabel. Niemand verdient es, für so eine schlechte Leistung so viel Geld zu zahlen. Und schon gar nicht an einem Tag, der eigentlich etwas Besonderes sein sollte. Fazit: Nie wieder. Wer Wert auf Qualität, Service, Kinderfreundlichkeit oder auch nur ein bisschen Ruhe und Struktur legt, sollte diesen Ort meiden. Für uns war das ein teurer, nerviger und stressiger Reinfall. Ich hätte den Muttertag wirklich lieber anders verbracht.

Absolutely disappointing – never again! We went to brunch at a restaurant that is described as parent-friendly on its website and in reviews. What we experienced, however, had precious little to do with that. "Parent-friendly" apparently simply means that children are allowed here – but there's neither a play area nor any other activity options for children. So, for families with small children, this is simply misleading – we expected more. But that was unfortunately just the beginning. The brunch costs 25 euros per person – without drinks. For that price, you should at least expect a certain level of quality. Instead: empty containers at the buffet, missing plates, no bowls, hardly any cutlery – and our table wasn't even set. The server's brief comment: "The table isn't set, but you'll find the cutlery at the buffet." Seriously? For a buffet at that price? The buffet itself was also a disappointment: It consisted of a single small table that could accommodate maybe ten people at a time – with around 150 guests trying to serve themselves at the same time. The result: constant crowding, no structure, no peace and quiet – and, of course, constantly empty plates. Especially annoying when you consider that you've only booked two hours for brunch. This lack of organization quickly turns into real stress – instead of enjoyment. Incidentally, we were out again after less than an hour – not because we ate so quickly, but because it was easy enough. The entire experience felt rushed, uncaring, and haphazard. The quality of the food was mediocre at best, with no trace of variety or refinement. And they took their time refilling drinks – if they even came at all. When we politely pointed out the many shortcomings and suggested a small price reduction, we were offered a single drink on the house – for three adults, a 13-year-old child, and a toddler, who together paid over 100 euros. That's not a concession – it's a slap in the face. Conclusion: This restaurant clearly thrives on outdated reviews, not actual quality. Overpriced, poorly organized, family-unfriendly, and far from what you'd expect for the price. We're honestly disappointed, feel ripped off, and will definitely not be coming back. A serious warning to anyone planning a relaxed brunch with family: Don't do this.

Mother's Day ruined - disappointing, overwhelmed, absolutely not child-friendly We went here for brunch on Mother's Day and I deeply regret it. We actually wanted to spend a nice, relaxing morning, as the photos and the description of the restaurant had promised. But what we experienced was the complete opposite: an overwhelmed, disorganized and child-unfriendly disappointment that is absolutely not what is portrayed publicly. As soon as we arrived, the restaurant was too full, stuffy, loud and dark. There was absolutely no sign of the alleged child-friendliness - there was no play area, no age-appropriate toys, just a few old, incomplete board games that a two-year-old child couldn't do anything with. My child was completely bored and cried most of the time because there was simply nothing to do. And the statement from the person in charge at the restaurant that child-friendly means that children are welcome was totally audacious. Then you don't advertise it in such an extreme way. Relaxation? None. I was completely stressed and on Mother's Day of all days, when one would have hoped for a bit of appreciation and peace. The fact that a restaurant doesn't have a concept for families with children on a day like this, even though that's exactly what was advertised, is a real indictment. The buffet was a disgrace for €25 per person without drinks! The selection was ridiculously small, many dishes were either not cooked through (e.g. bratwursts) or were in a sad state (mushy pieces of cake, unappetizing presentation). What you see in the pictures has nothing at all to do with reality - you really feel deceived and ripped off. Fresh fruit? None. When asked, they said: “Come later.” But if you only have a certain time for brunch, “later” won’t do you any good. I went to the buffet exactly once, my children ate almost nothing and still got paid in full. The staff seemed overwhelmed and disorganized. Sometimes people weren't understood properly because some employees barely spoke German, which made it difficult to even make simple requests. One of the employees even openly admitted: “We just took in too many guests today, we can’t do it.” If you know you can't handle it, why do you overbook mercilessly? That just doesn't work at all. And how to deal with criticism? Unfriendly, dismissive, without any insight. Instead of having a serious conversation, you were half-heartedly offered a drink “on the house”, probably to avoid discussions. To be honest, that was more of an insult than a concession. I didn't want gifts, I just wanted the service that was promised. The cherry on top: You had the feeling that the staff wasn't really interested in finding a solution. Discussions were blocked as if the guest was to blame for the bad experience. My children were disappointed, I was disappointed and all in all this visit was just stressful. How this restaurant gets so many good reviews is a mystery to me. Maybe things used to be good, but what we experienced was simply unacceptable. Nobody deserves to pay so much money for such poor performance. And especially not on a day that was supposed to be special. Conclusion: Never again. Anyone who values ​​quality, service, child-friendliness or even just a bit of peace and structure should avoid this place. For us it was an expensive, annoying and stressful failure. I really would have preferred to spend Mother's Day differently.

A really nice place to visit. Went there for brunch on a Sunday in early March 2025. The €25 for this was certainly not a bargain, but the atmosphere of the whole place made up for it. The 'host' that morning seemed a bit disoriented when making the reservation, but the nice girls from the service took care of it well. If you want to offer friends and family something special, you've come to the right place.

The service is very friendly but not particularly familiar with the menu. Questions could not be answered immediately. For example, if you offer a soup of the day, you should also know what kind of soup it is. The restaurant was maybe 20% full. But the waiter had reached his limit. But as I said, the really friendly service means you can get over the negative things. The food was good but not outstanding. We've eaten better here. Our impression is that the focus is more on cakes and tarts. I myself had the country house schnitzel with salad and fries. Unfortunately no sauce was offered, so the combo was very dry.
