The Triglismühle in Siegelbach is a real treat! The fresh salad with homemade dressing was colorful, creative and simply delicious. Absolute highlight: the schnitzel with cream mushrooms – juicy, perfectly seasoned and the sauce is a dream. Great food in a lovely atmosphere – highly recommended! The first time - but not the last.

We went back there specifically for the delicious ox cheeks after December. But this time it was a disappointment. Tough and riddled with sinew. What bothers me most about it is that the chef hopes he won't tell me he didn't notice it when he cut the meat. And then serving it to the customer for €22 is, to put it mildly, inappropriate. Besides, if he didn't notice, he's doing something wrong.

Update: August 21, 2022 Since the restaurant was unfortunately brought to its knees during Corona, it is all the more pleasing that it reopened in May 2022. As a native of Siegelbach, even more so as I share many memories with the restaurant. Be it the well-known cycling festival, carnival, fair and so on. Hoping that something like this will happen again. But the highlight is still always the food. Simply delicious, both then and now. We were here as part of a family celebration. I didn't know the new owners yet. So it was a first for me. The rest of my family has been and is thrilled. Me too now. I had a small salad as a starter and as a main course the penne with grilled vegetables, tossed in wild garlic pesto. The salad was very fresh and tasty, topped with a few blueberries, cress and a delicious dressing. The penne was also very tasty, only the onions were a bit too much for my taste and the wild garlic pesto was quite interesting in August. But all in all very tasty. The chef definitely knows his craft. I think it's great value for money for what you can eat and drink there. Locally just as great, much earlier and the employees are all very nice, even when things got stressful. Compliment. All in all, I can recommend the Triglismühle to everyone. Whether for a quick lunch, a quick stop for a beer in the beer garden or or or. Perfectly located on the cycle path between Plaue and Arnstadt. The only thing that falls a bit short are dishes for vegetarians. There are 2 on the map, which I find a bit small. You could possibly offer 2 alternatives Two years ago: Top food, cozy atmosphere and moderate prices. In summer there is a beautiful beer garden.

We visited the Triglismühle for brunch on Sunday. The attentive and friendly service led us straight to our table. Reservations are recommended on weekends. The buffet was very diverse and delicious. It was constantly being refilled. We look forward to your next visit! Unfortunately we cannot comment on the rooms.

We waited 1 hour for the food we ordered. That's not okay. Then our grandchildren were warned to be quieter, even though they were busy in the play area. That doesn't work at all. This is anti-children. We won't come anymore. We pass on our experiences. Oh, the salad plate was nothing either, the dressing ran past it and there weren't any fried turkey strips either, it was a pile of cooked turkey! Inedible.

Unfortunately I can't understand the good reviews on Google. The food was neither tasty nor the service friendly. On the contrary, the waitress was cheeky, rude and completely unprofessional for the restaurant. Overall, we could have saved ourselves the visit.

We were invited to lunch during a birthday party. All of the food was consistently great and plentiful. The dumplings in particular are great and so big that you “only” need one as a side dish. We will be happy to come back!

I only rate the gastronomy and service in the beer garden: Very good! The boss has “the shop” and her team under control, but is unobtrusive. The service is friendly and trained. I always enjoy being here. There is hardly a place where the food is richer and tastier than in the triglismühle.

Cute and idyllic refreshment stop on the bike path, friendly staff. Unfortunately no price transparency. For a dumpling with sauce you pay €8.50 (afterwards). That's usury. It was delicious, homemade, no question, but according to the menu it would have cost €6.50 (for the little guests), but later they simply charged €2 more, even though we asked beforehand if we could have it that way. You could then have simply said that it costs more instead of simply billing it like that afterwards. That feels like a rip-off. It's not about money, but about the principle. Unfortunately, proper communication fell by the wayside, then we might not have ordered anything. Too bad. Tip: simply include a price note on the menu or train the staff to include it when ordering. Then you don't buy a pig in a poke and then be upset afterwards.

The beer garden is large and cozy. There are different seating options. The employees are always very nice despite the full house. The food was large portions AND tasted great.

We had a celebration there. I've always loved going to the Triglismühle. I've been there again for a long time and was very disappointed. The staff was very unfriendly. Drinks were brought after 3 reminders and then you got stupid sayings when ordering your food. Unfortunately this was my last visit.

The food is very tasty and definitely freshly prepared. The location is also nice, you can sit outside and there is also a playground for the children. The service was quite lackluster, hence only four stars. But still definitely a clear recommendation.

The food tastes sensationally delicious, the portions are large and sufficient. However, at the beginning of the visit we had to wait >15 minutes for the first card. We had booked a table and there was still enough space available. The food then took >60 minutes to arrive. The service was very good.

We were there with a pre-order. It was very nice, delicious food decorated decoratively - after all, the eye eats with it. The service without complaint. One of us didn't quite like the meat, it was immediately replaced with another and even the chef personally asked if everything was okay. All you can say is: respect and keep it up! We were there for dinner and walked there from Dosdorf on the bike path. The food was very tasty and the employees were very friendly. There is even a small playground. But you should reserve in advance.

Anyone who is from the area knows the long-standing Triglismühle. Luckily the name stayed the same over the years. It has always been beautiful here. Now in summer with an outdoor area. There is also enough space inside and is interestingly furnished. You should pre-order. We had a really good time last weekend. Also beautifully prepared to the eye. The service was friendly and attentive... the food was delicious. Small note: not really something for vegetarians. And also somewhat surprising, pasta with chicken is more expensive than a fish dish or schnitzel. Anyway, we'd love to come back.

The Triglismühle is a beautifully cozy restaurant with a rustic flair. The food is top class. It not only looks good but it also tastes very good. My favorite is the “Stinkemüller”. If you like garlic or hearty food you should try this. The matjes was also very tasty. We will be back definitely. In summer you can also sit outside in the beer garden.

Wir kamen spontan und bekamen von dem Erstklassigen Service Plätze vorgeschlagen, mit Bekleidung zum Tisch! Das Ambiente wunderbar abgestimmt, sehr sauber, sehr netter aufmerksamer Service. Das Essen: Thüringer Küche, deftig, das Auge isst mit, wird hier groß geschrieben! Selbstverständlich gab es Klöße, die ohne zu übertreiben ein Traum waren, riesig!!! geschmacklich einwandfrei und vorallem kein Fertigprodukt Marke Großmarkt.der Salatteller absolut perfekt, mal kein 0815 Eisberggedöns mit dem üblichen Alptraum aus geraspelten Irgendwas! Ich als Veganer hab zwar nicht so die Auswahl, aber wenn wir wiederkommen, dann wird es auf jeden Fall Klöße mit Salatteller von diesem Kaliber und man ist rundum zufrieden. PS Der witzige Einfall die Toilettentür mit "Getränkerückgabe" zu verzieren ist ja mal gelungen, herrlich,...mein Mann war kurzzeitig überfordert 🤣🤭

Sehr leckeres Essen,in einem gemütlichem Ambiente.Ich hatte Rindersteak,das durchgängig medium war, sehr lecker. Der Apfelstrudel war dann eine krönender Abschluss. Man sollte vor vorbestellen.

Ich gebe nur 4 Sterne, da ich die Zimmer nicht beurteilen kann , ansonsten war alles absolut 5 STERNE wert!!! Heute fuhren wir am Landgasthof Triglismühle vorbei und haben uns spontan zur Einkehr entschlossen. Es war natürlich ziemlich voll. Aber die Service Mitarbeiterin behielt absolut den Überblick und obwohl 2 Leute ein paar min vor uns kamen und auch warteten ... blieb die Mitarbeiterin ganz ruhig und sagte trotz ihrer vielen Bestellungen .." kein Problem bekommen wir hin ... " Und siehe da , keine 2 min später brachte sie uns an einen Tisch... Beide Servicekräfte waren sehr höflich, nett und trotzdem mit der professionellen Distanz ... super Service , absolut volle Punktzahl. 👍 Wir bestellten , mussten auch nicht lange warten und das Essen kam ... Auch da absolut volle Punktzahl . Es war super lecker und reichlich ... Das Ambiente ist gut... der klassische Charme eines Landgasthofes ist klar ersichtlich. Wir ließen uns die Rechnung bringen.... zu zweit mit Getränken unter 50 eu ... finde ich absolut angemessen... also kann ich auch da volle Punktzahl geben . Fazit: Die Triglismühle ist ein gutbürgerliche Lokal zwischen Arnstadt und Ilmenau .... Ich kann jedem nur empfehlen , dieses Lokal mal zu besuchen. Ich für meinen Teil besuche es auf jeden Fall wieder und bedanke mich für dieses Erlebnis. 👌

Heute waren wir zum Mittagessen mit über 20 Leuten, Familie und Freunde, in der Triglismühle. Aufgefallen ist zuerst die sehr herzliche Begrüßung der Kellnerin!!! 😁 Der Tisch war liebevoll vorbereitet, rundherum alles sehr gut organisiert. Aufgefallen ist mir die offene und sehr freundliche Umgangsweise der Mitarbeiterinnen, gerade in der Gastronomie absolut keine Selbstverständlichkeit und eher die Ausnahme... Getränke? Große Auswahl. Speisen? Große Auswahl, mit Sicherheit für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei! Alles sehr lecker, gut gewürzt, heiß serviert, ... Parkplatz (für mich ein sehr wichtiger Punkt!) - um das Gebäude genügend Parkplätze vorhanden. Also rundum FÜNF STERNE!!!!

Ich war heute mit einer großen Wandergruppe in der Triglismühle zum Mittagessen. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen, alle Kellnerinnen waren sehr freundlich, das Essen war ausgezeichnet und wurde schön heiß serviert - kurzum: wir hatten einen angenehmen Aufenthalt und kommen bestimmt bald wieder. Super leckeres Essen. War als Urlauber dort

Wir haben einen Geburtstag in der Triglismühle gefeiert und es hätte nicht schöner sein können. Der Service und die Planung waren top. Der Tisch war wunderschön dekoriert. Die Kellner waren allesamt sehr sehr freundlich und es wurden alle Wünsche berücksichtigt. Auch die Chefin war persönlich am Tisch und das Essen war Weltklasse. Wir freuen uns auf den nächsten Besuch :)

Wir haben uns gefreut wieder Gast in dem Haus zu sein, wo Gastlichkeit groß geschrieben wird. Qualität und Quantität haben auch nach einem Jahr nicht nachgelassen. TOLL!
