Great Bavarian restaurant. The food and drinks are excellent. The staff is very friendly and quick. It's nice that something like this still exists.

Still a true, traditional restaurant with no frills. The schnitzel still tastes like schnitzel, and the roast pork from the wood-fired oven is the best in the region. No pre-packaged sauce, just homemade Joux. Simply delicious. And all at reasonable prices. The aspic is to die for.

I've never visited this country inn because they only make promises on the phone and don't keep them. Emails don't respond either. Apparently, they have enough guests and don't need any new ones. Guest-friendly is something else for me. If you don't want to deal with your guests, you can just say so right away. Then people will know what's going on and won't wait for emails in vain.

Beautiful owner-managed inn! My room was in very good condition and had a nice balcony with a view of the church.

If you're looking for one that offers traditional Bavarian food despite the taverns dying out everywhere, this is the place for you. You can't make the sauerbraten with dumplings any better. Price/performance is also outstanding.

Perfekter Schweinsbraten zu einem unschlagbaren Preis. So is a guads bayrisch Wirtshaus. Es braucht keine Karte mit 10 Seiten. Genau richtig! Nur finden muss man das Wirtshaus leicht abseits der Hauptstraße.

Eines der letzten Wirtshäuser mit leckerer Hausmannskost in Hemau. Waren zum Entenessen da, sehr freundliche, zügige Bedienung. Wunderbare Portionen, hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Totale Weiterempfehlung!

I can’t recommend coming here on purpose. We wanted to try something different. It’s not a bad place, it’s just not good enough to go in the first place. The kase spaetzle was spaetzle with a slice of cheese on top. The Jager and Rahm schnitzel sauces were not flavorful. The beer did not meet the mark on the glass. There are so many other good restaurants that are out there I just can’t recommend this one.

Nettes und freundliches Gasthaus. Nicht so große Auswahl an Essen. Aber völlig ausreichend und sehr gut. Der Schweinebraten wurde von meinen Begleitern sehr gelobt. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt. Gerne wieder mal.
