I expect a reputable restaurant to publish their vacation times on the Internet and not to state the opening times. I also expect that when I make a phone call, my mailbox will not expect a voice message from me, but rather a recorded announcement that it is closed for vacation. That's not professional!

Location in a good location because it's very central. Unfortunately there's nothing special for the price and there's hardly any home-made food! Unfortunately, the young boss is very snooty and unfortunately you don't feel very welcome. It's a shame!

The food was great, but you had to wait a long time for your order or drinks. The boss herself is great.

The meal was delicious! The ambience impresses with its cozy atmosphere. The service is also on point and we were completely satisfied. The new management of the restaurant brings a young and dynamic spirit into the proceedings. There were five of us here - everything was very positively impressed! We will be back definitely !

This was the first time we were there again after the reopening. The food and cocktails were already good before, but the service is now unbeatable and cannot be compared to the previous owners. You immediately feel comfortable and we will definitely come more often now. The chili is “different” and worlds better and delicious. Good luck to the whole team🍀

We ate at El Coyote for the first time today. The ambience was nicely decorated and the drinks and food arrived quickly. We ordered a burrito, a burger and a side of chicken wings. Each main course came with a salad, although the chicken wings also came with one, which we think is too much. The burger was good, the chicken wings were fully marinated. The burrito was placed on the plate rather carelessly. We imagined a typical rolled burrito, but what we ended up with was a heartlessly folded flatbread that was impossible to eat. When we politely asked the waitress/restaurant owner about it (merely as constructive criticism for a new opening), she was rather less open to criticism. So she didn’t even want to say “bye” to us when we left the restaurant.

The catering for 15 adults and 5 children worked very well. The preliminary conversation was very friendly, the delivery was on time as agreed, the food was very tasty, well seasoned, the vegetables were on point, not too soft, the dips were very good, as I found out, homemade. Only the portions were a little tight, but the reorder also came very quickly, and a tray of food was even on the house. All in one, absolutely recommended!

I had the pleasure of visiting El Coyote restaurant in Hemau and I can only rave! This wonderful oasis of Mexican cuisine far exceeded my expectations. As soon as you enter the restaurant you feel like you are in Mexico. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with stylish and authentic decoration that immediately creates a holiday feeling. The friendly staff welcome you with a smile and make you feel comfortable from the first moment. The food is simply heavenly! Each dish is an explosion of flavors, freshly prepared and prepared with great attention to detail. I would particularly like to highlight the tacos and the guacamole - simply perfectly seasoned and of the highest quality. The margaritas are also an absolute highlight and perfectly balanced. What particularly impressed me is the care with which the ingredients are selected. You can immediately tell that great value is placed on freshness and authenticity here. There are also many vegetarian and vegan options, which makes the selection even more varied. The service is first class. The service is attentive, friendly and very knowledgeable about the food and drinks. You really feel like a valued guest here. Overall, I highly recommend El Coyote. It is the perfect place for a cozy evening with friends or family to enjoy the diverse and delicious flavors of Mexico. I last ate in Hemau and since this shop was recently taken over by new owners, the quality has dropped drastically. The service, as well as the food, can be compared to a fast food restaurant. I really enjoyed eating here, but unfortunately I have to say goodbye as a regular here. A real shame.

Food was very tasty and plentiful... Staff was friendly and attentive... All 4 meals arrived at the same time and quickly... We'll definitely be back. Addition 05/18/24: Were there today for the first time after the reopening. It is still highly recommended and we will definitely come back. We have always enjoyed going to the restaurant. Even after the reopening, we have been here again a few times and you can't complain at all, the food is absolutely delicious, the staff are friendly and the location is great, especially when the weather is nice! We still enjoy going here and drinking a glass or two of margaritas and treating ourselves to something special to eat! 😋

The food was really quick and it was good. However, we were completely frustrated because the waitress preferred to talk rather than serve.

We were here at El Coyote for the first time since it reopened and unfortunately found that the restaurant was no longer what it used to be. The service seemed noticeably overwhelmed or understaffed. We waited 15 minutes for a card to be given to us and then another 1 hour and 45 minutes for the food, which arrived cold. As an apology, the drinks were on the house and we got another shot. We really enjoyed the "old" Mexican, but will only stop by for a cocktail in the near future. We hope the kitchen (and service) processes improve with continued operations.

I was here for the first and last time. The dishes have big city prices. My burger (bacon/cheese) large portion, including salad and loveless ready-made dressing. The burger had plenty of cocktail sauce - apparently homemade - Everything wasn't to my taste, so I finished eating after a few bites. I had to justify this twice, even though I repeatedly emphasized that it wasn't "my" taste. Ambience otherwise cool and bare. I can't understand the many positive reviews. A pity!

Despite a confirmed reservation by telephone, we found ourselves standing in front of closed doors. There was no note on the door saying it was closed and no one could be reached by phone. It may happen that we have to close at short notice, but unfortunately this is not justifiable without notice. Unfortunately, it's a shame, it was our last "visit" for the time being...

The food, both breakfast and dinner, are really amazing! Breakfast with lots of fruit/fruit. Ambience and staff great! Always feels like a bit of a vacation there :)

Excellent fresh produce on the plate. Beef well aged. Decent portion (would almost be enough for 2 people). Beautifully garnished and presented. A must for Mexican cuisine lovers!

Meine Frau und mein Sohn (12 Jahre) waren vormittags/mittags im Coyote Frühstücken/Mittagessen. Essen war sehr gut, sehr reich angerichtet. Minuspunkte war die Dame im Service. Etwas ältere Frau, Chefin? Keine Ahnung Sonnenbrille im Gesicht, muss jetzt nicht sein, ich bevorzuge, jemanden in die Augen zu schauen. Um den Hals ihr Handy aber was wirklich überhaupt nicht geht, wenn jemand einen so weiten Ausschnitt hat und die Busen raushängen, ich betone, die Dame hatte keinen BH. Ich bin nicht frauenfeindlich, jeder soll angekleidet sein wie er möchte aber das war leicht ekelhaft. Es war mir mega unangenehm und ich sah, dass die anderen Gäste ebenfalls geschaut haben.

Great shop, very nice service, good food and very large portions.

We were passing through by bike and had made a reservation for breakfast at 12 p.m. Were there at 11 a.m. which didn't pose any problems :). The welcome was very warm and we were allowed to choose the table. We had Egg Benedict, extra bread basket, salmon, yogurt with muesli and 4 ☕️. Everything was sufficient and, above all, very tasty. If we are in the area again we would be happy to come back.

Gutes, aber sehr teures Essen und Cocktails. Schönes Ambiente. Die Bedienung war stets bemüht, benötigte aber dennoch einen Taschenrechner und tat sich bei der Herausgabe von 5€ Wechselgeld bereits schwer.

Wir waren heute zum frühstücken hier, hatten Frühstück für zwei, es war sehr reichhaltig mit viel leckerem Käse und Obst, ein sehr fluffiges Rührei , Salami, Schinken und kleinen Brotscheiben. Einziges Manko (vielleicht weil ich etwas pingelig bin), Kaffee würde ich gerne aus einer Tasse trinken und nicht aus einem Wasserglas, auf jeden Fall absolut empfehlenswert, wir werden auch mal abends vorbeischauen

Ich war heute mit meiner Mama im El Coyote im Herzen von Hemau. Wir hatten es über Facebook entdeckt und wollten es ausprobieren. Die Bedienung war super freundlich, die Getränke kamen zügig, das Frühstück für 2 war riesengroß und fantastisch anwechslungsreich belegt. Im Brotkörbchen waren verschiedene Brötchen Scheiben, was uns gut gefiel. Die Käse Auswahl war top, Preis- Leistung sehr gut. Wir kommen gerne mal wieder!

Wir haben Essen bestellt und mitgenommen. Alle Gerichte um 4-5€ Teurer geworden. Tortilla mit Käse überbacken und Jalapenios dazu 11,50€. Kein Käse war überbacken sondern nur Reibekäse darüber gestreut 4Jalapenios waren oben drauf. Ich empfehle es leider nicht mehr weiter schade. Früher war ich so begeistert.

Gerichte gut und ausreichend. Manchmal sind die Tortillas etwas hart. Burger und Salate riesig. Alles in allem sehr zufrieden bislang. Update: War seit längerer Zeit Mal wieder da und war sehr begeistert. Fleisch zart, alles auf den Punkt. Service super schnell.

Sehr unfreundlich empfangen.. Wir hatten bestellt, da wir uns einen gemütlichen Abend machen wollten. Das Fleisch war sehr zäh u. Unter medium versteh ich etwas anderes, war sehr blutig.. Die Garnelen Rochen sehr fischig. Das einzige was lecker war, war der Salat. Das Essen war für die kurze Fahrt auch sehr kalt. Als wir dort anriefen, wollte der Besitzer das Essen sehen. Kellnerin kann mit Kritik wohl nicht umgehen. Also für alle die dort essen gehen, leiden schon sehr an geschmacksverlust.. Teuer gezahlt u. Müll bekommen. Nieeeee... Wieder.

Netter Service, sehr gutes mexikanisches Essen, große Portionen, hübsches kleines Lokal. Mittwochs Special: Fast alle Taccos für 10€ ist unschlagbar günstig und lecker! Auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung wert!

Sehr gut gewürztes Essen. Habe die Nachos Original und das Steak Surf & Turf gegessen und muss sagen, dass das Fleisch Vlt mehr Salz vertragen könnte, dennoch nichts was man nicht ausbessern könnte mit Salz und Pfeffer am Tisch und die frittierten Kartoffelspalten super waren. Ebenfalls waren die Riesengarnelen sehr gut gewürzt und super schmackhaft. 5 Sterne!!👍

Wir hatten kurzfristig reserviert. Das Lokal ist sehr schön gelegen nahe dem Stadtplatz. Das Ambiente des Lokals innen ist sehr schlicht. Bestellt wurde zur Vorspeise Chips 4 Dips. Diese waren anscheinend selbstgemacht, schmeckten aber sehr farblos. Hauptgerichte waren Enchilladas Verdura und Fajitas Vegetariana. Leider waren diese weit entfernt von traditioneller mexikanischer Küche. Das Gemüse bestand aus Paprika, Zuchini und einigen Zwiebelstücken und war sehr groß geschnitten, so daß das Falten der Fajitas sehr schwer fiel. Der Geschmack war wegen nahezu fehlenden mexikanischen Gewürzmischungen recht eintönig, es war sozusagen wie "Hausfrauenart", da hat der Koch noch Nachholbedarf! Von der Bestellung der Hauptspeisen bis zur Lieferung vergingen 45 Minuten. Bei der Zubereitung der Cocktails wurde stets der selbe Shaker benutzt, der dazwischen nicht ausgespült wurde. So hatte wahrscheinlich jeder Cocktail etwas vom Geschmack des Anderen dabei. Die Preise sind im gehobenen Preissegment. Fazit: El Coyote wird nicht unser Lieblingsmexikaner werden.
