Food was ok. No more and no less. Service rather unsympathetic

We have never felt so uncomfortable and not at all welcome. We went to the pizzeria with our two small children to ask if we could order two pizzas to take away. Nobody had a smile left, not even for the children. We asked in a friendly manner how long it might take, if there were a lot of orders it could take longer, which wasn't a bad thing at all, it was just a normal friendly reply! Ask. At first we were looked at strangely, it was so uncomfortable. Then they said yes, it depends on which pizzas!? Unfortunately we are very disappointed. We even thought about eating the pizzas and ordering drinks right there, but we decided to get out quickly. We've never experienced anything like this before. The only friendly-seeming person who came at short notice was probably a waitress. But this slightly older lady who spoke to us is probably scaring everyone away. Yes, there are certainly not always nice customers, but that's not how you make friends. When you read the negative reviews, you notice in some of the answers that there are no friendly, warm people behind them. Even the ladies in the kitchen didn't smile back when we picked it up. But who knows how they will be treated... this atmosphere is simply strange. The pizzas were quite good, just a bit very salty. Thanks.

We ordered pizzas, which we picked up on site, the order was available at the scheduled time, the welcome was very pleasant, friendly and the pizzas were excellent..,😊😋👍

Ordered four dishes to pick up today. Actually, the dishes would have been ready for collection at 6 p.m., but we called and asked that the dishes be kept warm because we needed a little longer - which the phone said was fine. When I picked it up, the staff yelled at me that the food had been ready for a long time. I explained on site that this had actually been agreed over the phone. When we got home, we discovered that the pizza we ordered (which also appeared on the receipt) wasn't in the bag. The food would actually be really good, but the service and customer friendliness leaves a lot to be desired. The pizza thing is of course very annoying. It's a shame about the otherwise good food.

Always quite crowded after the reopening. The prices are a bit high for Hemau, but I think value for money is totally fine. Pizzas have very good toppings, the dough goes very well too, I'll write about pasta once I've tried it. Desserts are plentiful. The beers are from the Kuchlbauer brewery; in my opinion, there are no other manufacturers. The staff is very friendly. Generally highly recommended. Update 2024: Always a pleasure! Quality like on the first day, pizza and pasta simply taste explosion. You can add something to the antipasti - it's that good. We will be back and very, very, highly recommended! Some of the best pizza I've ever had in Germany. (The Price to Quality ratio is Perfect!) The attention to detail on the Homemade Crust is nothing short of a miracle in your mouth. (There is also a large, Clearly labeled Vegetarian Section if you're into that kind of stuff and I'm sure it's a PARADISE for Pescatarians; considering all the fruit Di Mare options on pizza pasta and insalate (Also known as seafood options if you're a diabetic American like I am) Even though it was pretty loud do to limitations of space; I will definitely be back again because the food quality is IMPECCABLE here!

I ordered a Quattro Stagioni to take away. My special request (without artichokes and instead peppers) was fulfilled without any problem. It really tasted great. The staff very nice.

I've been there three times with my family and every time it's been good. The menu is extensive so that everyone - both vegetarians and meat eaters - will find something. A vegan dish would have been nice (but it could also be that I missed it on the menu). In my opinion, the prices are reasonable for the overall package. See you soon 😁

Taste can be argued over. Therefore, regardless of how the pizza tasted, the price performance is not right. For a Hawaiian pizza and a mozzarella pizza with 4 slices of tomatoes and 5 slices of cheese, €26 is just too much for me.

Yesterday we spontaneously went out to dinner with friends. Great ambience and super friendly staff. Pizza and pasta very very tasty. I would be happy to come again at any time.

Alles sehr schön und sauber. Zuvorkommender und tollen Service. Angemessene Preisleitung. Essen wurde auf Wunsch auch in vegetarisch verändert und war sehr sehr lecker. Jederzeit gerne wieder.

Super Ambiente. Waren zwar nur zum Abholen unserer Pizza dort, werden aber zeitnah zum Essen vor Ort auch hingehen. Pizza war sehr gut.

Sehr nettes Lokal. Die Speisekarte hat eine große Auswahl an Gerichte. Wir waren zu 10 da, von Groß bis klein, und alle sind satt geworden. Sehr leckere Pizzen, Antipasti, Salate und Pasta. Die typische italienische Nachttische sind hausgemacht.

Traumhaftes Ambiente, besonders in lauen Sommernächten ist der Innenhof mit seinem tollen Flair etwas ganz besonderes. Absolut freundlicher, flotter Service und die Pizzas sind spitze. Bester Italiener in Hemau! 🙋🏼‍♂️ ❤️

As a lover of pizza, especially pizza diavolo, this was the best pizza I have had in Germany. Tony's Pizza in Vicenza, IT is still the best to us, but I am very happy I tried Da Salvo on a friend's recommendation. We are heading back tonight for round two, actually. I highly recommend Da Salvo for lovers of Italian Cuisine

Wenn Ihr die Möglichkeit habt, setzt euch in den Hof. Wundervolles Ambiente. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und schnell und rundet das ohnehin schon hervorragende Essen ab. Hinzu kommt, dass das Lokal sehr Kinderfreundlich ist.

Das essen ist gut, allerdings überteuert. Gibt in der Gegend andere genauso gute restaurants die deutlich günstiger sind.

Sehr gutes und qualitativ hochwertiges frisches Essen. Ist nicht der günstigste Italiener aber Preis Leistung ist in Ordnung. Sehr nette und aufmerksame Bedienung.

Ambiente war sehr angenehm. Klare schlichte Strukturen und Farben mit einem Touch Humor. Das Essen wie immer sehr lecker und es gibt nicht nur das übliche, sondern auch originelles. Der Service war freundlich und sehr schnell.

Sehr positive Überraschung in einer kulinarischen Diaspora. Endlich kann ich mit meiner Mutter auch mal zum Italiener gehen ohne nach Rgb zu fahren.

Wir waren auf Durchreise und haben das Restaurant entdeckt. Freundlicher Service und eine abwechslungsreiche Karte haben uns sehr gefallen - das Essen war sehr lecker und aufwendig zubereitet (Antipasti und Pizza/Salat). Wir kommen gerne wieder nach Hemau, auf alle Fälle auch wieder in die Pizzeria Da Salvo!
