Landgasthaus Zum Urftal in Bad Wildungen

Very tasty food and very friendly staff. The area is also very beautiful.

Yesterday, Saturday, we had dinner at the Landgasthaus zum Urftal. We had reserved in advance, which turned out to be very good in retrospect. As has been described many times, the restaurant is very rustic, almost nostalgic, we really liked it. The boss is very friendly and attentive, as are the two young waiters. The menu is clear and there is something for everyone. We didn't go there with high expectations, but we were completely convinced otherwise. We had 2 x roast beef, 1x green sauce, 1x pork loin and 1 x children's meal. All dishes were excellently prepared, fresh and the portions were above average, which made us very happy. The meat was incredibly tender. The fried potatoes were amazing. With our meal we had wine, water, dark beer and non-alcoholic wheat, the drinks were all at the right temperature. The prices are slightly higher, but still reasonable; we're happy to pay a little more for fresh, delicious food. The children's food was even on the house, which we have never experienced before, and the children also received Haribo. We felt completely comfortable. It should also be mentioned that reservations should be made on weekends. There are 2 parking spaces available in front of the house, but there is also a parking space around the corner. After dinner we walked a bit along the dwarf path. We can recommend the Landgasthaus zum Urftal without hesitation 👍. Thank you.

Great! The schnitzel was perfect! Meat beaten by hand, crispy breaded and pan fried. Accompanying fried potatoes with bacon and a delicious salad, fresh and with homemade dressing. Highly recommended!! In other reviews I read something about 'old ambiente', we thought it was great that it was still so authentically preserved, as it should be and not so tastelessly modernized as you often encounter it everywhere nowadays!

Half-timbered inn in the Snow White town of Bergfreiheit in the middle of the Kellerwald. Delicious dishes cooked with love and great expertise are served to you directly by the boss and friendly specialist staff. Always happy. Keep it up!

Leckeres Essen, nette Bedienung.

Essen war sehr lecker. Rippchen und schnitzel sehr lecker. Schlicht eingerichtet. Für eine Wanderung mit anschließend Essen gehen sehr zu empfehlen.

Ein schöner kleiner Landgasthaus im Schneewittchendorf. Wir hatten die Schnitzelparade bestellt und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Ausreichend Schnitzel mit 4 leckere Soßen und 4 verschiedene Beilagen und einen kleinen Salatteller für jeden. So konnte jeder seinen Schnitzelgericht selbst zusammenstellen. Toller Idee und sehr lecker. Also Kompliment auch an der Küche. Der netter Chef bedient mit seine freundliche Damen die Gäste schnell und unkompliziert ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder 👍👍

Einfach die besten Schnitzel weit und breit

Die Gaststätte "Zum Urftal" ist prima: super leckeres Essen, freundliche Bedienungen und landschaftliche sehr reizvoll gelegen. Auf jeden Fall einen Abstecher wert. Vielen Dank an Rolf und Fritz Brockmeyer und dem gesamten Team 👍🏼👍🏼

Freundliche und zügige Bedienung, das Essen war gut bürgerlich. Was dem Geschmack und Portionierung kein Abbruch tat. Wir werden sicherlich wiederkommen.
