Tolle Lage, freundliches Personal, Preis-Leistungsverhältnis in Ordnung...

Wir wollten Backfisch essen. Und bekamen den besten Backfischteller. Fisch schön kross und lecker, super Pommes, ganz knusprige Bratkartoffeln, leckerer frischer Salat, gute Remoulade, rustikales Ambiente, schöne Lage. Genauso muss es sein. Selbstbedienung funktioniert prima. Preis-Leistung sehr gut. Wir sind super zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder.

Auch wenn hier SB angeschlagen ist, wird bei Problemchen fix geholfen. Wir waren so dumm, den Tisch zu verrücken, damit der Rollator besser verstaut werden konnte ohne jemanden zu behindern. Das hat natürlich eine schreckliche Wackelei verursacht, was aber sofort vom Personal durch Schräubchen drehen abgestellt wurde! Ein uns unbekanntes Gericht wurde super erklärt. Wartezeit aufs Essen wird durch "Pieper" angenehm. Man kann die Getränke schon mit zum Tisch nehmen. Das Essen war reichhaltig und lecker. Uns hat es gut gefallen!!

Direkt am Hafen gelegen, auf den ersten Blick gerne übersehen. Unglaublich gutes Essen zu sehr fairen Preisen. Selbstbedienung funktioniert sehr gut. Absolute Empfehlung wenn man ein authentisches Essen haben möchte!!!

Haben uns zu einem Mittagssnack dort niedergelassen, auch um das angebotene Würzfleisch nach DDR Rezept zu essen! Ehrlich gesagt war es eine Katastrophe! Die reinste Mehlpampe!! Dies hat überhaupt nichts mit DDR Rezept zu tun!! Erstaunlich wie sich Möchtegern Gastronomen erdreisten mit solchen Aussagen Kunden zu locken!! Nie wieder !!

Backfisch viel Panade, wenig Fisch. Bei der gleichmäßigen Form vermute ich TK-Ware. Remoulade für Sauerfleisch eine geschmacklose dünnflüssige Masse. Bratkartoffeln ölig. Preise dafür zu hoch.

Rotbarsch war toll, Backfisch klein und Bratkartoffeln fast kalt. Getränkepreise sind, besonders für ein SB Restaurant, drastisch zu hoch.

Gut gelegenes Restaurant am Hafen der Stadt mit schönem Außenbereich und Selbstbedienung, zudem auch hundefreundlich und aufmerksamen Personal

2x spontan eingekehrt und noch einen Tisch für 2 Personen bekommen. (Rotbarschfilet nach Pariser Art & Landgangs Currywurst) Selbstbedienungskonzept funktioniert super! Man bekommt einen Bestellbutton nach dem Bezahlen mit an den Tisch, welcher dann piepst und blinkt, wenn die Bestellung an der Kombüse abholbereit ist. Das Personal ist super freundlich und das Essen sowie die Getränke reichhaltig. Top Preis Leistungsverhältnis! Sehr zu empfehlen!

Herlich gelegen am Hafen, 6 x zum Abendessen da gewesen und immer sehr zufrieden gewesen, werden beim nächsten Aufenthalt wieder einkehren

Wir waren hier zum Abendessen. Ich bin ehrlich, ich habe mich lange davor gedrückt hier zu essen wegen der Selbstbedienung. ABER ich fand die Atmosphäre dort wirklich gemütlich. Die Bestellung war unkompliziert. Das Essen war sehr gut. Sobald ein Tisch frei wurde, kam eine freundliche Servicekraft und hat sofort geputzt. Hat mir gut gefallen.

Gutes SB-Lokal in toller Lage! Das Personal war sehr freundlich, das Bier hat geschmeckt und die Preise sind der Lage angemessen fair.

Wir sind dess öfteren dort,auch inne woche,das Essen ist immer sehr,sehr gut und reichlich,das Personal ist super freundlich und man kann auch paar menuten länger sitzen auch wenn geschlossen wirt.

Selbstbedienung, die super funktioniert. Essen ist lecker, Getränke gekühlt. Hunde sind willkommen.

Die Lage ist toll, direkt am Wasser, das hat schon was. Es ist halt schade, dass es hier keine Bedienung gibt und trotzdem wird man auf ein Trinkgeld hingewiesen, was ja jetzt überall der Fall ist und man darüber geteilter Meinung sein kann. Das Essen hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt, auch der Preis war in Ordnung.

Schlechtestes Fischbrötchen das ich jemals gegessen habe, beim ersten Bissen ist direkt eine große Menge Fett herausgeflossen

Super freundlich und schneller guter Service...

Das Essen war sehr gut. Wir hatten 1x Fischbrötchen mit Bismarckhering und 1x das Matjesfilet mit Bratkartoffeln. Aber knapp 35 Minuten für diese Schnellgerichte sind deutlich zu lang. Des Weiteren hatte es einen faden Beigeschmack, wenn man bei der Bestellung gleich bezahlt und bei der Kartenzahlung nach Trinkgeld gefragt wird. Trinkgeld geben wir gerne am Ende, wenn alles passt und auch man bedient wird. Auch das Abräumen macht man selbst. Einen Tischservice kann man bei den Preisen schon erwarten.

Ich hatte eine Bratwurst bestellt und bekam nach 15 min Wartezeit eine frittierte Wurst im Brötchen. Unverschämtheit dies als Bratwurst zu verkaufen. Kein weiteres Mal!!!

Soljanka und Würzfleisch einfach nur lecker und man kann sehr gemütlich dort sitzen.

We ordered fish and chips at the beginning of December, supposedly for the occasion. The batter was thin and more like a damp washcloth. The fish was cold and raw. The baguette was cold, served with salad. The fish hadn't been deep-fried, and the baguette wasn't even warmed through. The salad was unnecessary. When we asked, they offered to reheat everything, but I declined. My impression: frozen fillets were battered and reheated. I can't recommend it.

Self-service restaurant. 🤔 It works. Currently... with lots of mulled wine and snacks. Also self-service only in spring/summer. 😎 Otherwise... with many standing tables, some made from pallets, which speaks to their creativity. Soon, it seems... Artificial intelligence will be operating here. 🙄 The location, the first watering hole, at the harbor. With a beautiful view. With these prices and the lack of service, I'd rather... stay on board, at sea, than... go ashore. (LANDING). 🤣😂🤣 December 2025

Seasonally cozy. Solyanka and Würzfleisch are delicious and affordable. We always enjoy coming back.

The service and staff are perfect. The ambiance is suitable for every season. The price-performance ratio is also excellent. The solyanka and the Würzfleisch are my personal favorites.

An affordable place to grab a bite and sit outside. Simple yet effective, pallets have been stacked to create tables, offering a view of the Waren harbor. Self-service with friendly smiles. The mulled wine arrives quickly. You get a pager when you order food, but that was quick too. Food and drinks are simple, fast, and affordable. Perfect for a quick bite!

Nice self-service restaurant Right by the harbor in Waren Friendly staff Open until 9 p.m. However, you're practically kicked out after 7:45 p.m., as the bar closes and tables and chairs are noisily cleared away.

For me, this is the best restaurant at the harbor in Waren. Unlike usual, you order at a window, like in a beer garden. This means you can take your drinks with you. A buzzer notifies you when your order is ready. Everything we've eaten so far has been delicious. Kudos to the chef. The self-service also means you don't have to deal with unmotivated and poorly German-speaking service staff, which you unfortunately often find in nearby restaurants. The prices are a bit below the usual range for what's on offer in this tourist-heavy area. Considering the good quality, this is very fair.

Self-service restaurant on a lovely terrace. Despite several dishes, the service was quick. The steak au four was very tasty, but the fried potatoes were unfortunately too oily. The asparagus was overcooked, but the schnitzel was good. Unfortunately, there was a lot of smoking on the terrace, which was a distraction while eating.

Urgent recommendation especially for guests of the Womopark within walking distance.

Everything was great, matjes or fried herring with fried potatoes were super tasty. Best view of the harbor Unfortunately it closes at 8:30 p.m., otherwise there would have been two more rounds.

This is where we stop when we take the boat to the port of Waren. Here you have a good view over the harbor and the people strolling around. Here it is self-service, you first look for a table, study the menu in peace and then go to order. You get the drinks straight away, as well as a shaker at the table that beeps and vibrates when your food is ready. Then you get your food and start enjoying! The food is great and fresh, and the eyes can also eat here. Because the service staff when ordering and the chefs are good at it. The price/performance ratio is right here.

If you don't mind self-service, you're in good hands there

Whenever I'm in Waren, I go here as often as I can in the evening. It's self-service, but I personally don't think that's a bad thing. There is a good selection of food and drinks and the prices are ok. You sit outside, but covered. There are also blankets so you don't have to freeze even on cooler days. I love the view of the small harbor and will continue to enjoy spending the evenings here in the future.

Location and view great! Nice service. However, the fish sandwiches weren't bad but not that good either. The bread was old, at least not crispy and the herring fillet wasn't that good. The fried fish, on the other hand, was very good and freshly fried.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the fried potatoes with bacon and spring onions were a particular highlight. The drinks were excellently poured which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a very successful overall package that I can only warmly recommend.

Despite self-service, a great restaurant.. Price is right and the location at the harbor is super nice.. the food is super tasty.. 😋

It's no longer a restaurant, but a cozy self-service snack bar.... It's outdoors...you stand at tables made from pallets...we still liked it...the staff at the window were cheerful and friendly...

It's a stand-up snack, but okay. The solyanka tastes very good.

What can I say? Very thin schnitzel with finger-thick breading. Fried potatoes probably from the bag. All the same size and no sign of being fried. Greasy and not cooked through. Salad looked like the ready-made bag from Lidl. Nothing about this meal was fresh. I ate the Hamburger Schnitzel. My husband the classic. Difference: 1 egg!!! 3.40 more expensive. Unbelievable. Maybe they need to come to Münsterland to know what a proper schnitzel is like. Never again 🤦‍♀️ Self-service concept ok. Ambiance also good.

Tja ist so ein Touri Schuppen, schöner Blick von der Terrasse. Selbstbedienung mit Barzahlung. Geht schnell und gut organisiert. Vom Essen sollte man nicht allzuviel erwarten. Schlechtesten Bratkartoffeln seit langem. Fish and Ships in Öl das man hätte auch schon mal früher wechseln sollen. Der Müritz Barsch war überraschend gut

The ambience was very nice, with a view of the water. Self-service restaurant, which was perfectly fine for us. Staff very friendly. The food (schnitzel with fried potatoes + schnitzel with fries) was super delicious. Portion was optimal, not too much, not too little. Little waiting time for food. We really enjoyed it and it's worth another visit.

A very nice self-service restaurant with good and tasty food! You choose something from the map and then you get a “beeper”! When it beeps and vibrates, you pick up your food at the counter. You can sit down wherever you want. The prices are reasonable and the food is very tasty and plentiful. The service at the food counter is very friendly and very nice. This was my second time eating here and I can only recommend the restaurant without reservation.

Although it was open until 9 p.m., there wasn't even a drink after 8 p.m. and the checkout had already been settled 🙈. Two days ago it wasn't a problem to get a beer at 8:15 p.m. and the restaurant was just as busy on both days.

First stop when we visit Waren... Self-service restaurant with a direct view of the harbor. Always well attended - no wonder given the delicious food. There is traditional home cooking 😋😋😋delicious!!! There is also an extra card for younger guests. The portions are sufficient and the value for money is right. We'd love to come back. Recommended fried herring, sour meat and chicken nuggets for the kids.

Good dishes at decent prices. Friendly and helpful service. I can only recommend the Hamburger Schnitzel. Plus a fresh pilsner from the tap. This is the perfect way to end the day.

Unfortunately just overpriced snack food! Had fried potatoes with matjes and onion-cream quark. The food was unseasoned but still neatly prepared. Unfortunately the name restaurant is out of place here, which explains the self-service. Otherwise everything is clean and friendly in this IMBISS!

You have to like self-service and convenience. Redfish with very few vegetables and potatoes. Too expensive at €18.60 for such a small portion. Beer price (€5.70) beyond the pain threshold.

There is beautiful, classic German self-service cuisine here. It's very uncomplicated, works well and the food is also super tasty.

Self-service restaurant (unfortunately a no-go for us) at the harbor. Price-performance was ok, nothing more. Fried potatoes just average. Portion size too small for the price. NO card payment, as is so often the case in the region🤔 However, there is a playground nearby, which is certainly worth considering for families. We'll definitely try something different next time. We were eating with 3 adults and a child. Seasoning meat quite foggy. Baked fish was ok, the potatoes that came with it were hard. Pollock with Rösri. Pollock was good, Rösti wasn't homemade. Like the rice pudding also from buckets. Total disaster.

We're just going to eat here. Food and drinks are freshly made, everything is spotlessly clean and the organization is perfect. For people who get cold easily, every chair comes with a red fleece blanket. Rarely have we been so chilled and comfortably eaten outside. All employees are extremely friendly and helpful. We can fully recommend this restaurant!
