What a backdrop from Eckernförder beach. Add a beer tasting, a delicious gratinated cheese or tarte flambée and you have a piece of holiday feeling. The boss recommends the right beer for your meal. And they also test strange things, when we were there they had coffee beer. It's best to try it after eating, it's hard on the stomach.

The food in the country in sight is simply good. The fries are world class, I don't think I've ever had such good fries. There are only four stars for the food, as I find €15 for a portion of currywurst fries quite expensive.

A great restaurant that I will visit again on my next vacation. Every beer lover will get their money's worth here, as they also brew their own beer here. There are around 20 types of beer here. I can't say anything about the food, but it's supposed to be good. I'm looking forward to the next visit.

The most beautiful place in my homeland where you can spend your free time in the family area every evening, which also applies to the entire team and the innkeepers. Friendliness, speed and accuracy are very important there and you feel very welcome in all categories! Kudos to this team. However, only one thing is missing for the grand finale: political events that have no place in this world (Afd political opinions and events have no opportunity to spread there and are not tolerated). Land in sight stands for freedom, cosmopolitanism and tolerance. Everyone is a welcome person and my second home!!! Big compliments to both owners. 💪🏼👍🏻😘

Top food and service, brilliant evening! Always my pleasure

The food was sufficient, tasty, warm and beautiful to look at. I had knuckle with mashed potatoes. The latter could have been more, but deducting a point for that would be too much. The cellar who served us did his job, but tried to be funny and entertain us in his own way. In my opinion, unnecessary and annoying. Order food and bring it, I don't expect anything more. The ambience is modern and nice to look at, but also way too loud. If the place is full, it will be difficult to understand the other person. Furthermore, you feel like one in a thousand. What disappointed me most was the long wait. It took more than an hour between sitting down and until the food came. Especially with children, the time can take a long time and if you then notice that the waiter is also entertaining other guests and you yourself are waiting and waiting, then that is very unsatisfying. Conclusion: Chef great, waiter not so good, atmosphere is nice to look at but loud.

Very friendly service and delicious food. I can recommend the beer tasting for those who are undecided, it was to my liking because there was no dark beer. However, it took a while before we could pay, sorry - it was very busy on Friday.

Great brewery with a very extensive beer selection. Ambience very modern and appealing. Service top and very friendly. Food solidly mediocre. Some meat is frozen goods (chicken breast, schnitzel) - this would be much better with a little more attention to the product. Then you'll be happy to wait longer. Fries, tarte flambée and oven cheese were good!

The "Land in sight" is really a fantastic restaurant. The food is delicious and the menu is varied. The location is chic and stylish, and is also right on the water with a magnificent view. The service is attentive and relaxed, creating a great atmosphere. We will be back definitely. 😊

Basically, you could have given it three stars, but the ambience, which contrasts with the usual 70s chic in a modern, urban style, is worth the bonus star. The selection for beer lovers is varied and really appropriate for a “brewery”. Only the food, apart from the dessert, is in the middle of a certain lack of love.

Addendum to my first review: On March 9th, 2024 there was a new party format in LiS! In response to many requests from last year's guests, we decided to have a hit party! Personally, I think it's great when you organize the party in this way, even though it doesn't actually fit into the catering concept, and even take part as the owner in absolutely museum-worthy balloon silk suits! All thumbs up, we'll be happy to come back!!! ---------------------------------------------------- ------------------- Yesterday there was another event in sight in the country and what was new but also understandable was the limit on the number of guests. Personally, I appreciate the country in sight for its ambience and good service. I was all the more disappointed last night by the manner of communication at the door. I can understand that you have to take action against unruly people and that a resolute demeanor is required. The fact that this behavior was shown to a sober and calm guest who was in no way angry or unreasonable really shocked me personally and I also get a more professional demeanor from a person who has been in this area for a long time expected.

We came here spontaneously. We were welcomed and served very friendly. The food tastes very good and the beer is delicious.

A must for craft beer fans! About 15 different craft beers fresh from the barrel. Wonderful. Service also bomb. It's a shame, the evening was too short😉. Hope to see you again. Definitely a highlight.

We had tarte flambée and soups. The tomato soup and the tarte flambée tasted very good, the tarte flambée was well topped and the soup was nice and creamy. My sweet potato soup was spicy, but unfortunately very watery. But the bread that came with it was delicious. Just like the beer 😄 As always, the service was friendly and attentive. The brewery is cozy/modern, the view is great!

We had dinner with you yesterday...Unfortunately the food wasn't as expected!!! The burger was way too small, we had to look for the meat!! You also seem to have replaced the ketchup; it tasted sour and was far too runny. All in all it was disappointing...a shame actually. As always, the staff was great and very attentive!!!

You can easily get a table with a view of the Baltic Sea on weekend evenings without a reservation. Very friendly staff and very good cuisine! Ambiance is very cozy and modern. Can only recommend this restaurant!! It won't be the last time there.

My girlfriend and I came here spontaneously, ate a delicious waffle and enjoyed the beautiful view of the sea. We were served quickly by a super friendly and humorous service person. We'd love to come back!

Today we were once again thrilled with the food and the friendly service. Delicious food that also left the men comfortably full. We women also like the delicious beer. Something for everyone.

We chose the restaurant because of its very appealing ambience. We were warmly welcomed. We ate the Wagyu burger and the tarte flambée with salmon. Both were very tasty and attractively prepared. The service staff was very friendly and we felt well looked after.

Eine tolle Speisen- und Getränkeauswahl, wovon jede Bestellung lecker war. Hervorragende Küche und Bar! Der Service war freundlich, herzlich, zügig und sehr aufmerksam. Alle Mitarbeiter*innen haben eine gemütliche Wohnzimmer-Atmosphäre in dem schönen Raum vermittelt und uns professionell umsorgt. Bishin zu Nebensächlichkeiten wie der kalten Zugluft (brrr Schnee usw.) aus dem Treppenhaus, wurde auf jeden Wunsch eingegangen. Unser Urlaub hatte einen perfekten Abschluss, darum nochmal Grüße und Danke :)

Als Wiederholungstäter sieht sich der Berichterstatter nunmehr positiv genötigt, eine Bewertung zu verfassen. Bereits mehrfach im Brauhaus "Land in Sicht" eingekehrt, ist von meiner Seite (sowie auch seitens der Ehefrau als Begleitung) festzustellen, dass Eckernförde eine Bereicherung in Sachen Gastronomie erfahren hat. Im Sommer gibt es keinen schöneren Ort den man sich vorstellen kann, als die Strandbar "Land in Sicht". Speisen (Snacks) sowie Getränkeauswahl mit Blick auf die Ostsee und dem dazugehörigen Möwenkreischen lassen den Berichterstatter immer wieder als gebürtigen Gettorfer in Erinnerung schwelgen. Das Brauhaus "Land in Sicht" lässt erahnen, dass hier Gastronomen mit Erfahrung ein Restaurant ins Leben gerufen haben, welches seines Gleichen sucht. Das Interieur ist einfach unbeschreiblich schön und lädt schon zum Verweilen ein. Der Service (der auch von der liebevollen Chefin und Ihrem Mann unterstützt wird) zeigt, dass hier mit Freude an der Arbeit kundenorientiert umgegangen wird. Alle Speisen, die an den Tisch gebracht werden, erfüllen Gaumenfreude und sind portionsmäßig mehr als ausreichend. Jahreszeit bedingt gibt es eine zusätzliche Speisekarte, welche ebenfalls empfehlenswert ist (z. B. Grünkohl im Winter). Zu den Bieren wird an dieser Stelle nicht weiter drauf eingegangen, weil es den Rahmen sprengen würde. Der Berichterstatter kann nur sagen: Alles ist unbeschreiblich schmackhaft - insbesondere die Bockbiere. Fazit: Strandbar + Restaurant = 1A Service = 1A Essen = 1A Getränke = 1A

Essen sehr lecker, nette Atmosphäre

Für denjenigen der nur bei toller Aussicht etwas trinken möchten ist das Brauhaus zu empfehlen. Essen sollte man dagegen dort nicht. Die letzten drei Gerichte die ich dort gegessen habe waren mehr als enttäuschend.

Eine sensationelle Location, leckeres Essen und eine große Bierauswahl (zum Teil auch selbst vor Ort gebraut) und das Beste von allem: sehr freundliches und herzliches Personal/Inhaber! Ich hatte mich kurz vor Küchenschluss angemeldet und es wurde schon alles vorbereitet und ich wurde gerne noch zu später Stunde verwöhnt. Ich komme gerne wieder!

Das Essen war sehr lecker aber wenig Auswahl an Speisen. Dafür kommen Biertrinker bei der großen Auswahl auf ihre Kosten.

Wir waren im Urlaub in Eckernförde und sind zwei Mal Essen im Brauhaus Land in Sicht gewesen. Das Essen war hervorragend, das selbstgebraute Bier (in meine Fall das Starkbier) hat absolut überzeugt und phantastisch geschmeckt! Gegessen haben wir Spareribs (super zart und nicht zu viel Marinade) und Begleitung aß Gulasch, wir beide hatten nichts zu bemängeln. Personal sehr zuvorkommend und äußerst freundlich. Atmosphäre sehr gemütlich und warm, jederzeit wieder, danke für den tollen Abend und das tolle Mittagessen.

Leckeres Essen, geile Lokation mit Blick auf die Ostsee und Kinderessen mit viel frischem Gemüse. Schade das es trotz vorbestellten Kinderstuhl keinen gab und auch kein Kinderbesteck.
