The food service was excellent and all members of our group thoroughly enjoyed the experience. This is Authentic Italian Cuisine. The food was allowed to shine through with individual flavors sàvored. The staff was attentive and kind. They accommodated even without a reservation. Thank you for a lovely evening and compliments to the Chef.

What a great place! A real must-go in Nuremberg. Great service, nice and attentive. Our waiter was really great and really sweetened our evening! The food: 10 out of 10. The Vitello Tonnato was well prepared and of good quality. The pasta in the Parmesan loaf is prepared in front of you, which is a real highlight. The prawns were on point, the steak was flawless. The pasta with fresh truffle was truly exceptional and worth every penny. The drinks were attractively presented. The schnapps on the house was the cherry on the cake. I'll definitely be back!

You definitely shouldn't go there at 4:30 p.m., the service is subpar, the food is more like that of an average Italian restaurant, but the price is more like the higher end. Maybe it's better after 6 p.m., but what we experienced here is still rated very generously with 2 stars. Therefore, I definitely advise against this location.

We made reservations by phone 3 days before our visit. When we were already sitting at our place and had received an aperitif, we were told that today there would only be a menu (price €65 per person!). It's cheeky not to inform the customer beforehand (on the phone or upon arrival) but to let them order drinks first. Unfortunately, the service and staff were also unfriendly. Definitely won't be visiting the store again.

If you have a lot of time, come here to eat... because they will serve you each dish only after every hour.

The food is high quality, tasty, and presented beautifully. Staff will serve you a digestif after your meal. Your experience at this fine restaurant will not come cheap, but will be worth every Euro.

First of all this restaurant is highly recommended from Trip Advisor and they are correct! Massimo’s restaurant is fantastic. He is the chef, owner, and is visible serving in the dining room. He made our evening special with his suggestions. Food came out of the kitchen hot for each course. The bread was delicious. He plated the sole and removed all bones table side. It was an exquisite meal. His 22 plus years as chef from around the world is evident in every aspect of the restaurant! We highly recommend Lamore da Massimo!

It's been a while since we visited here, but I would still like to pass on my impressions. We had reserved a table for several people and the two of us were the first to arrive. We sat at the table for 20 minutes without anyone coming to take a drink order, we basically had to ask the waitress to come to us. Ordering drinks for the rest of the evening was also a challenge and took a very long time. This Italian seems to be known for tossing the spaghetti in various variations in a parmesan wheel, all at the table of the guests who can watch it being prepared. A nice idea in itself. At our table, 6 people ordered spaghetti made from a parmesan wheel with various toppings. The cooked spaghetti is tossed in the loaf, twisted and then draped in nests on the plate. The cook prepared all six plates and only when all six plates were ready were they served, so the spaghetti was cold when it was served to us. Unfortunately, we also noticed at other tables that something went wrong and the guests were dissatisfied. In itself it's not that bad, but unfortunately the staff reacted very arrogantly and something like that doesn't work for me. Especially since this Italian restaurant isn't cheap either. There were many other little things (such as when it came to paying and the waiter added up the individual items with his iPhone and miscalculated very often and also reacted rudely) but that would go beyond the scope here. In any case, we won't be coming here again and can't recommend this Italian restaurant either.

3.75 - Better than average. Ravioli was cooked well and had good flavor. Nothing to go crazy about, but a solid dish. Pasta prepared in the cheese block got a bit thick and sticky as it cooled but was otherwise tasty. Sidewalk seating was pleasant. Service was better than most places, attentive, kind, and fluent in English.

No impressions. Restaurant closed. We had a reservation and were not informed that it was closed.

I had the bavetta with truffle and pistachios. The noodles were freshly prepared and tasted great. However, the price is still very high and the service is not really friendly.

Terrific! There is nothing more to say here. We had reserved for my girlfriend's 30th birthday. Delicious buffalo mozzarella on pesto with tomato, a very tasty cocktail for her, a glass of excellent Primitivo, she had very good ravioli and I enjoyed the spaghetti with truffle, parmesan, truffle-parmesan sauce from the parmesan wheel, with half a lobster exaggerated. (but was up for it). It was outstanding! Unfortunately, the half lobster was a bit small and more of a lobster, but for the price of the dish and the overall quality, it was completely justified. Everything al dente, perfectly seasoned and served in a timely manner. The service was professional and friendly + multilingual, attentive & trained. The boss personally came to the bill, had a nice chat with us, had to have an espresso, and after a 15%+ tip for a very good evening, an excellent, homemade Melonchello (melon liqueur) was brought to the house. You won't find much for the narrow thaler here, but the quality is right. We will be back. I haven't eaten this well in a long time (at a hefty but completely legitimate and justified price!) 5/5 without any doubt. P.S. We've eaten significantly worse for more money! Not for every day, but when you do, you'll want to stay here.

The restaurant presents itself as an authentic Italian and gives the impression of fine dining online. Paper napkins and bad tables are just one part. In addition, as soon as you enter the restaurant there is a strange atmosphere, as if you are not wanted. Overall I'm disappointed.

Based on a recommendation, we expected a delicious evening. . 4 x starter mix for all "Antipasti l'amore". The eggplant rolls with gratinated mozzarella were delicious. The Vitello Tonnato was the only starter that was really tasty. The carpaccio was supposed to come with a lemon vinaigrette, it came "without anything". The burrata was standard. Bruschetta traditionale should be toasted and consisted of lukewarm, soft bread. That was the only bread with all the starters. Is bread too simple? Things then got sad with the Bavette made from the Parmesan wheel. It was a disappointment for us with both truffles and pistachios. The pasta was very lacking in salt and the sauce was almost tasteless, which couldn't make up for the fat in it. One of us was recommended an entrecote. There was no price for it in advance. We found it on the bill - for a 2 cm thick entrecote with approx. 200 - 250 gr., without everything, €57 is an ambitious price. There was also a small portion of pasta as a side dish for €13, whose extra sauce unfortunately spread completely over the meat. 70€ for a main course of this quality is too much. 3 x tartufo and the too dry tiramisu didn't save the evening either. There was more to eat here, the owner insisted on deletion, let's see if it stays here, if not you have to ask yourself what else a Google review is supposed to do.

The restaurant presents itself as an authentic Italian and gives the impression of fine dining online. Paper napkins, no suitable cutlery for fish or steak, cheap atmosphere. The service was acceptable, but the food left a lot to be desired - the fish wasn't fresh, and the "parmesan loaf" was no longer parmesan, but a cream sling. It was obvious that the clientele doesn't have high standards has little knowledge of real Italian cuisine; that's how I explain the other reviews. It's reminiscent of an 'Italian day' in a German cafeteria.

Lots of truffle dishes, pasta tossed in a Parmesan wheel. 5 stars for taste and selection. Minus: very high noise level in the restaurant, very warm and stuffy air, no air conditioning or air treatment, small dishes at high prices (starters approx. 20€, pasta from 20€, main courses approx. 35€, desserts approx. 10€, 0, 1 liter of wine from €8.50). Despite reservations (2 weeks in advance) for 8 people and no indication of this, after ordering drinks and waiting 30 minutes, only a fixed menu with only a choice of fish or meat and no price was offered. Only after repeated discussions and very rude behavior on the part of the service staff was an a la carte order agreed to. If you do not want to offer a la carte, you should not advertise this on the homepage or inform customers either when making the reservation or afterwards using the contact details provided. Conclusion: Very good food, mediocre ambience, high prices and catastrophic service.

I had the pleasure of dining at L’amore da Massimo recently and it was an absolute delight! The restaurant offers an authentic Italian atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the Parmesan bavetta. The combination of pasta cooked perfectly al dente and the melted Parmesan, prepared directly at the table, was a treat for all the senses. The flavors were simply incredible – creamy, rich, yet perfectly balanced. The wine selection was also impressive, offering a variety of Italian wines that paired perfectly with the dishes. Overall, our visit to L'amore da Massimo was a complete success. I can highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to my next visit. A must for all lovers of Italian cuisine!

We came on Wednesday evening with two people and a dog, when we came in it said dogs are not allowed here but we ended up getting a table in the last corner. But no effort was made to turn on the lights at the table or put a basket of bread on the table, like all the other guests. But the restaurant manager also said something stupid when he went in about the dog, which is probably why the corresponding service. The dog is trained and lay very calmly on the floor the entire visit. The food wasn't justified for the price, average noodles, I've eaten much better with better service.

Very nice place with attention to detail. The Piedmontese starter was very good, the first course was mediocre... we had bavetta l'amore and bavetta scampi, both were very tasty. I would like to come back to try the fish because this restaurant has a very varied menu... we also had a good bottle of Ruchè and two bitters. We paid a total of 37 euros each. Dogs are not allowed, but they were given a table in the last corner, where no effort was made to turn on the table light or bring a bread basket. Like the restaurant manager said, it was probably due to my “sh… bait”. The dog lay as still as a mouse on the floor during our entire visit and didn't move. Food was not justified in terms of price and performance - €30.00 for average pasta, which you can get at any other Italian restaurant with friendlier and good staff.

Unfortunately, the attractive ambience doesn't make up for the poor service and the unreasonable pricing of the food.

Oh this may sound stupid but the bread is to die for!!!! Fresh from the oven! Crunchy crust and soft on the inside! The pastas were fantastic!!! The service was great too. I will come back and I would definitely recommend it to everyone!

We went for dinner with a larger group. We reserved the table a few weeks in advance. The reservation was confirmed to us...other than that, no further written agreements. The food, drinks and service were perfect. But unfortunately we ended up with an astronomical bill! Without prior consultation with the lady who made our reservation - she was not there that evening - a fixed menu was served for the group and the most expensive wine was placed on the tables! We were not given a menu or wine list! Such an approach borders on fraudulent intent. We are from abroad and regularly come to Nuremberg for work. Nothing like this has ever happened to us - we probably won't visit this restaurant again on our next visit to the city!

I stopped there on the recommendation of the hotel staff. An Italian restaurant outside the mainstream that doesn't have a single pizza on its menu. Very fine selection of dishes without being totally out of the ordinary. The spinach and ricotta ravioli with sage butter was so delicious! If you want to eat Mediterranean food in a modern and beautiful atmosphere, this is the right place for you. The higher price is absolutely justified by the quality.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with the previous reviews: The fact that, despite a reservation, you only find out on site that only a fixed menu is offered that evening should not be the case (after a lengthy discussion, we were also able to order à la carte). The volume in the restaurant was very high and conversation was hardly possible. Perhaps this can be improved somewhat with a different layout, plants, etc.

Unfortunately only 4 stars because we had to wait 30 minutes for our table despite having a reservation. The employee asked every 5 minutes whether we had even made a reservation. Ambiance is great if you get a good seat. Otherwise it's like sitting at a presentation plate. Food is excellent.

We wanted some pasta so we got to this place which seemed quite nice. After we were in the table they told us we couldn't ask from the menu, It was a closed menu that night. The price wasn't shown anywhere and we weren't told, however It was late and raining outside so we didn't ask for It. The food was quite good, but the quantity not so much (see the pictures as reference for the bavetta). It was 92€ per person without dessert. In the receipt there were some "rosmarinkartoffel" that we were never served but It seemed to be part of the menu (that we never saw). The ambient was very noisy, specially the music

The first time we were a large group. It was probably a trade fair and the restaurant only offered ready-made menus. We weren't told when we made the reservation. As a gesture of goodwill, we were allowed to order from the menu. We found it very good. Food is great! This time there was probably a trade fair in the city again and there were only menus again. This time they didn't want to take orders from the menu. It would also be okay if we had been informed in response to our written reservation request that there were only menus available. This time we weren't told again. Please let people know by phone or in writing. There are people who don't eat or tolerate everything, so it's bad to offer pasta in parmesan with cream sauce in the menu if you have a lactose intolerance. Otherwise, the service is great and the food not only looks great on the plate but also tastes good, but communication should be worked on!

Really great food! The Vitello Tonnato was one of the best I've ever had! The parmesan wheel pasta with truffle cream for the main course and the tiramisu for dessert were great! Another huge plus point is that there is Negroni Spagliato as an aperitif, it was really tasty :)

I ate in this great and chic restaurant for the first time today and my companion and I were very excited. The employees are extremely friendly, courteous and yet professional. In my opinion, the portions are really a bit small and that adds up to the bill, but everything tastes incredibly delicious and it definitely wasn't the last time we ate there.
