Service is excellent. Atmosphere is pleasant. However, the tables are too close together. Luckily the table next to us was unoccupied, otherwise it would have been unpleasant. Wine is far too expensive. Food is mediocre.

Very nice and well-kept environment. Atmosphere with soft music. As for the food, I admit that I did not eat pasta and I cannot judge it. Very good mixed appetizer from vitello tonnato to bruschetta. Excellent filet with truffle, served with potatoes and fresh truffle flakes. In summary we were not bad but I have some doubts about the traditional Italian recipes. The owner is kind and very professional.

Our visit to L’Amore da Massimo was mixed. The reservation went smoothly and we received a friendly welcome. However, the restaurant was far too crowded, the tables were close together, and the high volume - both from music and conversations - disturbed the atmosphere. Service was friendly but chaotic: long waits, forgotten water and bread not served marred the experience. The taste of the food was okay, but not convincing for the high prices. A pasta for 30 euros consisted mostly of noodles, with few high-quality ingredients. The nice presentation of the dishes was positive. The location is ideal, with good access and nearby parking. A nice ending was the schnapps on the house.

Surprisingly good and confidently presented: the bavette in a parmesan wheel and truffles. The radish on top is refined. Seen many times, but even better here. The other dishes were also great. Great service. Potential. Minimal criticism: the air is stale and you should ventilate it more often.

The restaurant is decorated in a very modern way. It wants to offer Italian cuisine with a modern interpretation. The music is a bit too loud in my opinion. I would prefer Italian music, it would make you feel even more relaxed. Service: basically very friendly and helpful. A drink was served too early and there was still a sip left in it. Food: very tasty in general! The price is definitely very high, but you also pay for the location and the waiters who freshly prepare the pasta in a parmesan loaf at the table. This is all reflected in the price. I can't say whether I would visit the restaurant again. Not necessarily. Just seeing and experiencing it once is enough for me.

Packed full on Saturday evening, thank God we had reserved. We found the Gipsy Kings' music at a disco volume a bit irritating. We found the wine prices to be very ambitious, the food was fine and the service was great.

It was a wonderful evening with perfect food. The quality of the food is impressive with every course. The pasta made from the Parmesan wheel is highly recommended. We have rarely eaten such good tiramisu in a restaurant. We look forward to next time.

We were there for the New Year's Eve menu. It was a huge disappointment, especially in terms of the atmosphere. Instead of a cozy meal with the opportunity to chat, it was not possible to understand one's own words because of the live music that was way too loud. I would have liked to have known about the general conditions in advance, then I would have looked for an alternative. The food was quite good. However, that completely faded into the background. Too bad.☹️

One evening in December we had some delicious food and drinks here. And that was all the good things I can say about this place. In terms of ambience, it would be more like a trattoria, which unfortunately turned out to be overpriced. Still, it's not a word for going out fancy. But table disinfection is really no substitute for tablecloths or clean chairs and floors. Everything crumbled! In addition, the disinfectant smelled neither of vinegar, alcohol or chlorine... A very thin water. Despite a confirmed reservation, there was no clean and set table waiting for us. The team took 24 hours to process the online reservation, so I felt compelled to call again. The bad impression about the service continued later during our stay. The so-called "restaurant" wasn't even really full and yet the service was just running around, which caused an unpleasant unrest. The young people seemed really overwhelmed to me and, apart from the first order, they had to be called out loudly several times. In terms of price-performance ratio, the expensive lamb loin seemed to me to be fairly reasonable. The grilled sea bream was somehow very small (even if you take into account that you were served fillets). However, this was topped by the "grilled sea bass", which was reduced to two medium loins. Each “main course” was only slightly decorated and served without any side dishes! A side dish for 6.99... There should be at least gold leaf in it! The wines were good (Chianti) to ok (Chardonnay), cappuccino was also ok, but the artisanal tiramisu was good, although way too expensive. Even a digestive can do little to change the ambivalent impression. Too bad.

I'm not a fan of truffles... unfortunately we were out of place. For people who like it, it's ok.

Lamore da Massimo is a wonderful Italian restaurant located in Nuremberg. The staff was beyond friendly. We had a wonderful dinner. The service was very good. I would highly recommend any dish made in the cheese wheel. The pasta was cooked perfectly and everything had tons of flavor to it. I had the truffle pasta and couldn’t recommend it more. The truffle flavor was bold and the extra fresh black truffle on top was amazing. The prices were also reasonable with each person being about 75 euros including drinks and soda. Lamore da Massimo made me feel as if I was in one of the top Italian restaurants in Italy! I would highly recommend coming here for the food.

The food was really good and the menu has a great selection - there's something for everyone here. The service was okay during the meal. However, the waiter's behavior in the end was simply outrageous: He told my mother, who only looked neutral, that she "looked angry" and was a "real German potato". Such comments are disrespectful and inappropriate. If you want to convey an exclusive claim, especially given the fairly high prices, the service should appear more professional. Such behavior leaves a negative impression and significantly spoils the experience, despite the good food. Too bad!

Wir hatten einen großartigen Abend! Die Vorspeisenplatte war ein Traum – frische Zutaten, liebevoll angerichtet, und jede einzelne Komponente war ein Genuss. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die Antipasti, die perfekt abgestimmt waren. Als Hauptgang hatten wir verschiedene Nudelgerichte, die alle hervorragend waren. Die Pasta war perfekt al dente, und die Saucen hatten genau die richtige Balance aus Würze und Frische. Man schmeckt einfach, dass hier mit Leidenschaft gekocht wird. Der Service war freundlich, aufmerksam und hat unseren Abend abgerundet. Ein echtes Stück Italien – wir kommen gerne wieder!

The bavette with truffle and pistachio cream was an absolute delight. The combination of the creamy pistachio note and the intense truffle aroma was perfectly balanced. The beetroot chips provided a great contrast not only visually but also in terms of taste. A unique taste experience that you should definitely try!

Food good, but seats too narrow or too close to other tables, table too small for menu with wine cooler, relatively uncomfortable, inattentive service (e.g. no "waste" plate for the mussel shells, etc.), men's toilet stinks after urine. ..........

We wanted to order tap water with the Aperol. Unfortunately, we were informed that they cannot offer tap water because a guest once got a stomach ache from it. What a stupid reason to sell us still water.

We spontaneously looked for an Italian restaurant near our hotel on a Friday evening and got one of the last free tables here. Great ambience, nice service and an attractive menu. We chose the starter combo for 3 on the boss's recommendation and were not disappointed: bruschetta, vitello, carpaccio and other delicacies - very tasty. As a main course, bavette made from parmesa and beef fillet with vegetables - also great!! A lovely evening!

The food was allowed to shine through with individual flavors sàvored. The staff was attentive and kind. They accommodated even without a reservation. What a great place! A real must-go in Nuremberg. Great service, nice and attentive. Our waiter was really great and really sweetened our evening! The food: 10 out of 10. The Vitello Tonnato was well prepared and of good quality. The pasta in the Parmesan loaf is prepared in front of you, which is a real highlight. The prawns were on point, the steak was flawless. The pasta with fresh truffle was truly exceptional and worth every penny. The drinks were attractively presented. The schnapps on the house was the cherry on the cake. I'll definitely be back!

You definitely shouldn't go there at 4:30 p.m., the service is subpar, the food is more like that of an average Italian restaurant, but the price is more like the higher end. Maybe it's better after 6 p.m., but what we experienced here is still rated very generously with 2 stars. Therefore, I definitely advise against this location.

The two of us had dinner this evening, the atmosphere and the food were very tasty. Mr. Timucin was also very accommodating.

We made reservations by phone 3 days before our visit. When we were already sitting at our place and had received an aperitif, we were told that today there would only be a menu (price €65 per person!). It's cheeky not to inform the customer beforehand (on the phone or upon arrival) but to let them order drinks first. Unfortunately, the service and staff were also unfriendly. Definitely won't be visiting the store again.

First of all this restaurant is highly recommended from Trip Advisor and they are correct! Massimo’s restaurant is fantastic. He is the chef, owner, and is visible serving in the dining room. He made our evening special with his suggestions. Food came out of the kitchen hot for each course. The bread was delicious. He plated the sole and removed all bones table side. It was an exquisite meal. His 22 plus years as chef from around the world is evident in every aspect of the restaurant! We highly recommend Lamore da Massimo!

It's been a while since we visited here, but I would still like to pass on my impressions. We had reserved a table for several people and the two of us were the first to arrive. We sat at the table for 20 minutes without anyone coming to take a drink order, we basically had to ask the waitress to come to us. Ordering drinks for the rest of the evening was also a challenge and took a very long time. This Italian seems to be known for tossing the spaghetti in various variations in a parmesan wheel, all at the table of the guests who can watch it being prepared. A nice idea in itself. At our table, 6 people ordered spaghetti made from a parmesan wheel with various toppings. The cooked spaghetti is tossed in the loaf, twisted and then draped in nests on the plate. The cook prepared all six plates and only when all six plates were ready were they served, so the spaghetti was cold when it was served to us. Unfortunately, we also noticed at other tables that something went wrong and the guests were dissatisfied. In itself it's not that bad, but unfortunately the staff reacted very arrogantly and something like that doesn't work for me. Especially since this Italian restaurant isn't cheap either. There were many other little things (such as when it came to paying and the waiter added up the individual items with his iPhone and miscalculated very often and also reacted rudely) but that would go beyond the scope here. In any case, we won't be coming here again and can't recommend this Italian restaurant either.

3.75 - Better than average. Ravioli was cooked well and had good flavor. Nothing to go crazy about, but a solid dish. Pasta prepared in the cheese block got a bit thick and sticky as it cooled but was otherwise tasty. Sidewalk seating was pleasant. Service was better than most places, attentive, kind, and fluent in English.
