Were there with a larger group. Food came for everyone at the same time. Quality varies, overall good. A steak came later, for whatever reason, that wasn't ok either. (Raw, no questions asked, quality at best sufficient). Service is just fine. Drinks are placed on the table, they take them themselves and distribute them, that's not possible! Questions about food are answered by reading the menu! When it comes to desserts, you don't know which types of ice cream contain! Read the map again! Only the local conditions are ok, despite the main road. All in all good but with plenty of room for improvement.

The cleanliness in the rooms leaves a lot to be desired. Everything else was ok.

Steak was tough as a rubber boot and schnitzel resembled that of a deep fryer kebab shop. Never again!!! Be careful, no one gets their money's worth here!!!

The lasagna was great and the schnitzel was nice and big. The sauce was a bit too wholesale, but the fries were good. All in all, recommended. Plus on the Lahn. We were traveling with the escooter and were able to fortify ourselves.

The ambience is nice. The service good. Recommended if you want to have a drink and enjoy the weather. BUT not the food. Now I'm just talking about the pizzas, which are definitely a ready-made product. Given the prices, you expect at least something fresh.

One of the best restaurants in Marburg! Anyone who wants to make their loved ones happy and want to go out for a really fancy meal a great atmosphere, you're in the right place there. The food is at most amateur chef level, but the service is very good. The ambience is nice, but the view of the Lahn is unfortunately very limited by many trees and bushes. All in all it was ok, but there is no need to repeat it.

I ordered half an appetizer platter for two people. You could eat the food, but it wasn't very tasty and it got cold after a short time. When I paid, I was surprised at the large amount of money. Afterwards I noticed that almost 30 euros had been charged for the small starters (i.e. the full price): for 2 bruscetta, 2 mushrooms, a few slices of vegetables - some of which were really bland and lukewarm (cold after a short time) and a small bowl of almost unseasoned ones Yoghurt really way too expensive... I was probably there for the first and last time.

Restaurant is well located on the Lahn. We ordered the antipasti dish for two people. Vegetables were cold and the bread was dry and not fresh. Very simple bruschetta. Absolutely not recommended!

We like to come back there again and again

The service is good and attentive. Unfortunately the food is no longer what it used to be. There was actually moldy fruit and vegetables on the plate, even if it was just supposed to be for decoration. The rooms are slowly in need of renovation, the tablecloth has holes, the wall has stains.

We were in the Lahnterrasse today. When the weather was nice, it was very busy that we were immediately informed that the meal would take a little longer. No problem, but when our food still hadn't arrived after waiting 1.5 hours, we asked. We were then informed that our food (4 dishes, the entire table) had been forgotten. We weren't exactly sitting in the farthest corner. Very annoying, they have definitely lost us as customers.

Today I was disappointed here for the first time, the Mediterranean starter plate was an unparalleled impudence, the equivalent of around 100g of vegetables plus two olives for €12.90, people that's a complete rip off 😩

Very tasty food. Especially Lahn salad was really huge and so good.

The food was okay, but a mushroom sauce was served instead of the pepper sauce we ordered. The service was ok. The restaurant is nicely decorated, but some of the Christmas decorations that were still there were not so appropriate at the end of February. Price-performance for Marburg, the location is ok. Sitting outside by the Lahn in summer is definitely worth it. But it certainly won't be our regular restaurant.

Good lunch with starter and dessert!

The service was attentive and friendly. We were here on Sunday afternoon. Maybe there was no cook in the house because the food was really bad in terms of taste and quality. Very disappointing visit for us. We wouldn't come back.

Had reserved a table there for New Year's Eve. We were told on the phone that there would be a menu and ala menu. Unfortunately this wasn't the case, but we found something and individual requests such as fries were taken into account. But the food still tasted very good.

Our 3-course menu (rump steak or duck as the main course) was very good in terms of quality and quantity. The staff was both very friendly and very quick. I will happily come back to eat. The price and performance here are assured! Thanks for a great evening!

It used to be better. Today we had rotten leaves in the salad and it probably wasn't washed because the dirt made your teeth grind when you ate it. Otherwise the food was okay but nothing special.

Früher kamen wir manchmal zum Essen hierher, wir waren schon eine Weile nicht mehr hier, vielleicht sind es schon 4 Jahre, wir lebten in Amerika. Das Essen war wie immer lecker, nur leider sind die Kellner nicht mehr die gleichen wie früher.

Food tasted good. Portions large and sufficient. Bruschetta was ice cold, which deducts points. The listlessness of the staff with little willingness to talk was also noticeable. We sat on the ground floor, the tablecloth was dirty when we arrived and the atmosphere was loveless

The service was extremely friendly, but the food fell short of expectations. We once had the dish of the day with fish. The potatoes (Alldente) were not completely cooked through and the fish sauce took a lot of getting used to. The dessert was great. I had the goose leg, which tasted good, the red cabbage was great, but dumplings from a cooking bag are not possible at this price. Conclusion: been there once and we don't know the second time yet.

Im Resteraunt lahnterasse war es einfach super. Das Essen war sehr lecker , die Atmosphäre hat gestimmt und auch unsere Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. So einen jungen Mann und junge Frau als Bedienung bräuchte jedes Resteraunt sie haben uns perfekt bedient, es gab keine Dinge auszusetzen. Wir kommen aufjedenfall wieder!!

Schönes Ambiente Die Hauptgerichte (Pizza, Pasta) waren sehr lecker und reichlich (Pasta). Das Dessert war eher schlecht. Panna Cotta : eine dicke Scheibe auf dem Teller mit etwas Karamell Soße. Das Panna Cotta hat nach nichts geschmeckt, habe es zurück gehen lassen. Tiramisu: Sehr cremig / sahnig, kaum Kaffeegeschmack, war dadurch zu süß. Wenn der Kellner beim Kassieren dann wirklich dreimal das Geld nachzählt und einen anschaut ob das alles ist ( bei 98€, 110 € gegeben), dann ist das schon ein wenig unverschämt.

Wir sind heute in Marburg angekommen und in dieses tolle Restaurant müde und hungrig angekommen Unsere Erwartungen wurden in allem deutlich übertroffen Es war einfach lecker und füllend

Bemühtes Personal. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist nicht passend. Die Qualität des Essens ist ok, aber nicht mehr. Das tiramisù schmeckt ok aber nicht nach tiramisù. Der Salat hat ein fertig-Dressing. Der Dipp zur Antipasti Platte kommt auch aus der Flasche und sie besteht zu 95% aus Zucchini, der erwähnte Käse war etwa 5g, es gab einen Pilz. Wir kommen nicht wieder. Es sind eher 2 wie 3 Punkte, wir konnten uns wegen der Freundlichkeit aber auf 3 Punkte einigen.

Wir waren nicht zufrieden. Salat war ohne Dressing und Portionen sehr übersichtlich. Vom Geschmack her die Schnitzel im unteren Bereich. Der brachte uns ein Wasser ohne Kohlensäure, obwohl wir mit bestellt hatten. Als ich das reklamierte, kam er nach einer Zeit zurück mit den Worten: Da haben sie aber Glück. Ich habe noch eine Flasche gefunden. Das Einzigste was toll war, war der Blick von der Terrasse

Beste Auflauf mit Lachs. Portion ist groß, sehr lecker. Bin dankbar, der Koch ist sehr gut. Vielen Dank !

Sehr freundliches Personal. Decken wurden sofort gebracht. Auch mal ein besonderes Gericht. Cocktails abwechslungsreich... Alles sehr gut.

Ja, man sitzt dort relativ schön auf gemütlichen Stühlen. Leider mussten wir ewig auf das Essen warten. Auf der Pizza habe ich dann leider Zugaben gehabt, die da nicht hin gehören. Schade, sonst hätte sie bestimmt bessere geschmeckt.

Wir haben mit mehreren Personen verschiedene Speisen bestellt und selbstverständlich vom Teller der anderen genascht ;-) Sehr lecker!!! Noch ein Hinweis zu den Parkmöglichkeiten: In direkter Nähe befindet sich ein großes Parkhaus, welches 24/7 zugänglich ist. Viel Spaß und Guten Appetit.

Ich war in Marburg, hab eine Freundin besucht und da hab ich die Lahnterrasse entdeckt. Jetzt kommt’s Leute : Ich war im Restaurant Lahnterrasse in Marburg und es war großartig! Das Ambiente war wunderbar, das Essen lecker und das Personal sehr freundlich. Ich empfehle dieses Restaurant von Herzen und natürlich komme ich immer wieder gerne.

Alles super, sehr freundliche und engagierte Bedienungen, alles sehr sauber, das Essen ist köstlich, die Preise sind akzeptabel. Die Location ist ebenfalls sehr schön, allerdings ist sie direkt neben einer stark befahrenen Straße.

Das war leider der schlechteste Rinder Carpaccio den ich je gegessen habe… Den Service fand ich auch eher unfreundlich, kühl und sehr nüchtern. Habe mich nicht so gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Ich würde da nicht nochmal hingehen.

Sehr schönes Restaurant, man kann direkt an der historischen Weidenhäuser Lahnbrücke draußen sitzen 😊. Freundliches Personal, gute Auswahl an Speisen und Getränke. Einfach schön, wie immer in Marburg 🤓

Der Service war völlig überfordert. Nachdem wir mehrfach nach Tellern fragten für die Vorspeise, bekamen wir beiläufig die Antwort, dass eben viel zu tun sei. Wir holten sie uns selbst an der Theke. Mehrfach wurde unsere Tischnummer verwechselt. Nach weiteren Getränken wurde gar nicht gefragt. Das Besteck war nicht sauber und der Service nicht mehr ansprechbar. Leider war das Essen, wie wir mittlerweile befürchteten, ebenfalls nicht zu empfehlen, da völlig versalzen und mit Geschmacksverstärkern wurde nicht gespart. Erst als wir nach 15 Min. Wartens die Rechnung bezahlen sollten, hatten wir die Möglichkeit, das Essen und Weiteres zu bemängeln, man reagierte nur patzig. Schade, dieser Lagen hat uns damit nicht als Gast gewonnen

Nie wieder..Das Personal ist absolut unfreundlich. Wir bekamen einen dreckigen Tisch,dies geht gar nicht. Wir haben darauf hingewiesen,ab dann wurde der Service immer unfreundlicher,ebenso der Chef. Wir baten dann um einen neuen Tisch und zwar oben,alleine wegen der Aussicht und da sitzt man nicht mittendrin in der Türe. Da sagt doch der Besitzer,es kann sein,das sie obdn vergessen werde und nicht bedient werden. Diese Ansage war absolut Frech!!! Und ja,wir haben über 40 Minuten gewartet bis wir endlich mal Getränke bestellen konnten. Eigentlich hätten wir einfach gehen sollen. Da wir aber Alle Hunger hatten,sind wir geblieben Das haben wir dann sehr schnell bereut. Über 1,5 Stunden warteten wir bis wir endlich unser Essen bekamen. Und dann war daa auch noch lauwarm und fad gewürzt. Nie wieder,wir hätten auf all die schlechten Bewertungen hören sollen.
