Last week we were on vacation in Berlin. On Tuesday we were craving Italian food and found this restaurant on a side street. We didn't have a reservation, but we got a table for two in the very busy restaurant. The food (tomato soup, lasagna and creme brulee) was excellent. The ambience (romantic with orange lighting) was also ok. The only point of criticism: the incredible noise!!! Caused by the many guests all talking at once, the good food and ambience are spoiled! I eat out a lot, but I've never experienced such enormous noise before, which is a shame.

Very nicely decorated, great attentive service. There were 9 of us and the dishes all came at the same time, no one had to wait. According to some of the group, some dishes were not very seasoned, but it's all a matter of taste 😊 Gladly again

A good Italian cuisine restaurant. It is located a stone's throw from Check point Charlie, in the Mitte district of Berlin. We had a very good dinner. I recommend the Neapolitan dough pizzas, truly excellent.

Being Italian I can tell you the food is a joke, same level of a kebab restaurant, there is nothing italian in here, better to stay away.

Food was delicious. Service friendly. It's nice to sit outside. The price is very ambitious for Berlin, pizza 17-22€. Overall good, unfortunately the Google Maps reviews are not real, because giving a (good) rating is encouraged by the restaurant with a goodie. In addition, the restaurant also seems to be taking legal action against negative reviews, a no go. Of course, that's not the point and purpose, so you can no longer rely on reviews.

Fake italian, real unpolite! After some minutes we were there the waiters just asked us why we were there asking if we didn't have Italian restaurants in Italy. Very unpolite and food looked even worse. Stay away from there!!!!

Very bad. Terribly welcomed by the waiter who in self-styled Italian, annoyed by the presence of so many tourists, asked us what we were doing there. Get up and leave. Disgraceful and without respect for customers.

The Golfo pizza tasted so good. The dough is so nice and fluffy and crispy. No bland taste and you can eat the edges too 😋 + super tasty Aperol Spritz! Plus chilled music and top service. We'll be back 😇

We ate Pizza La via del Muro, Pizza Golfo and Pasta straciatella. Everything was very tasty and we were very satisfied.

Stay away from this nightmare. The best thing is the waiter yelling us “don’t you have restaurants in your country?” when ordering. Total disaster. Overall atmosphere freightening. Food should be even worse. Fake Italians by the way.

The food was just superb. I had tomato soup and pasta with Salmon and creamy lobster sauce. It was beyond delicious. I recommend the place if you want to enjoy a nice and fulfilling meal.

2024.09 02 Enjoying a nice carbonara which is spot on. The prices are very fair and the food is great. I'll be back next year when I'm in Berlin. Only negative thing is that people can smoke at the tables, which for me is a big no no.

The pizzas were very tasty, even if they were really difficult to cut despite the sharp knives. The carbonara may not have been entirely original, but it was quite good, just a little over-peppered. The bruschetta were good. The atmosphere was pleasant and it was difficult to find a place for 6 late at night.

Food was very good but service (outside) was poor. We waited 15-20 minutes to order. My wife accidentally broke a glass and the waiter made her wait for 5 minutes to help clean it up. We were told to wait whilst he stuffed about on his serving station with cutlery.

If I could give a zero for this place I would. Me and my partner did a walk in at 8.15pm, we requested to be seat inside. While ore than half of the tables are emptied, we only offered to be seated outdoor OR a very awkward indoor table next to the entrance where nobody wants to sit on the empty restaurant. We weren’t being told that it was fully booked or this restaurant were inly by restaurant only (there were also no sign mention that). We decided to take the outdoor table, but the server who prepared the table weren’t really nice and we didn’t feel welcome at all. We felt like we were being discriminated (we both Asian). After being seated, we felt like this is not worth for us and rather go somewhere else that is more welcome.

Tucked away on a quiet street in the heart of Berlin is this delicious and authentic Italian restaurant. The Neapolitan style pizza was perfectly cooked and used fresh ingredients. This was the perfect spot to have a nice lunch and get away from the crowds.

A very nice restaurant, with a cozy atmosphere outside. The starters were delicious and the pizzas were very good. The service was impeccable. I would classify the restaurant as a slightly more expensive restaurant, but the salami on the pizza, for example, was very tasty from the salami slice.

I tried the pizza, and I have to say it's not bad, better than many others you can find around. The thing that irritated me is that a tip was surreptitiously and not explicitly added to the bill, without asking for it.

An Italian restaurant near Tsek Point Cerli, we were a little disappointed with the pasta with truffle mushrooms. Because there was no taste of truffle at all.

Great evening with friends: We had a great evening with a delicious meal. The spaghetti carbonara was creamy and perfectly seasoned. The Burrata pizza impressed with fresh burrata and a crispy base. The Pizza Mista also impressed with its varied mixture and crispy dough. All in all, the food was excellent and rounded off our evening perfectly.

Top service, very good (authentic) cuisine and a wonderful ambience. In the summer months and on warm days you can sit outside on the terrace or directly in front of the local. Light music is played in the local and the furnishings are inviting throughout. The food is outstanding! On every visit there is a daily menu as well as regular dishes. Everything tasted so far was first class. The drinks, like the food, are fairly priced. The service is attentive, friendly and seems very well coordinated. La Via Del Muro is always worth a visit!

I've been in Berlin for a week. I tried German, Indian, Mexican and Italian food. Without a doubt the food at this restaurant was the best. surprising.

Good atmosphere. The service was top and the food very delicious, the servings were generous. I have no room left to taste the desserts, we’ll have to come back asap (kids and wife agree).

Very good dishes! Minor problems with the personnel (we were family of 3, and they didn't allow us to sit at any of the 4 chairs tables at the pavement because they were "Reserved". We sat inside and after an hour the tables were still empty!!!) Apart from that the place is recommended.

Pizza very good. We waited a relatively long time when the store was empty. Prices very high. Vitello tonnato very little for 16/17 euros and strong mayonnaise taste. Carbonara without announced guanciale, when complaining Parma ham was added.

Great Italian place I'm Berlin Mitte - Everything was so flavorful

This was the second time we had eaten here with a larger group of boys. Everything went smoothly when making the reservation and the service as such was very courteous and friendly. I have to say that the tomato soup and the pizzas taste very good. The lasagne, on the other hand, is very tasteless and not cheesy. The other pasta dishes were also not on the same level as the pizzas. Therefore a clear recommendation for soup and pizzas. We had ordered several desserts, it was a bit of a shame that the tiramisu for the birthday child wasn't on the house. A nightcap as such was not offered - a bit of a shame. But all in all it was a nice evening!
