The food is good but nothing special, the service is top-notch until the bill is paid. When paying by card, the person using their finger to force the tip amount on the terminal. I'm certainly in favor of tipping, but when paying by card, I prefer to leave the cash in person along with the receipt, rather than this way.

This was such a great choice for us, it was so close to our accommodation. We arrived on a Tuesday evening in September and we were extremely fortunate to get a table it was so busy. It was an amazing atmosphere of chat. We were served very quickly and the staff coped well with all their customers. Nothing seemed to trouble them. The man that served us had a constant smile. We both had the spaghetti carbonara and it was lovely. We also had a coffee. Highly recommended but be prepared to wait.

I went to La Via Del Muro for the first time today and I'm absolutely thrilled! The Pizza Burrata was amazing – super crispy crust, fresh ingredients, and the burrata was simply heavenly creamy. You can tell that they cook with love here. The staff was really friendly and attentive without being intrusive, and the whole atmosphere is cozy and stylish at the same time. Honestly, one of the best pizzas I've had in Berlin so far – I'll definitely be back!

Whether it's good value for money is something everyone has to decide for themselves. We've definitely had much better and much worse meals at this price point. The wine was excellent!

I had booked a table with great anticipation and high expectations (due to the many positive reviews) for a pleasant evening at Potsdamer Platz. The evening itself was quite enjoyable, but the meal beforehand was not. The Rucola con Pollo consisted of a very, very large amount of arugula, two sliced ​​cherry tomatoes, and three or four small mozzarella balls. Life in the capital is expensive… but the salad at €17.90 was clearly overpriced. My Tagliatelle al Salmone was okay, except that the arugula garnish was clearly past its prime and had shriveled up considerably (see photo). When I pointed out to the server that the salad seemed rather meager, the response was, "…I'll pass it on," which didn't exactly convince me that he meant it… but perhaps that's just me.

Highly recommended for all pizza lovers! We managed to get a table for two at the last minute, but we would definitely recommend making a reservation for larger groups, as the place is (rightfully) very popular.

If you're looking for Italian restaurants in Berlin, this one should be on your list. They have a good variety of dishes, not just pizza. There is something for everyone. Lovely atmosphere. Gets busy in the evenings.

Don't be fooled by the number of reviews—many of them are just because you get a little extra for writing a review. I simply want to share my honest experience here. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, and the service is friendly and attentive. The food is typically Italian, and the menu is neither too extensive nor too small. I would like to emphasize that the food is good, but not outstanding—which is why I'm giving it 4 stars.

At some point you have to look back at the heavily inflated reviews only to realize that this restaurant excels in marketing rather than its service. You can’t buy reviews but you can certainly attract good ones with an enticing and mysterious ”surprise” for the one daring to show it to their server. The food comes in a good portion size and tastes like you’d expect if you’ve ever been to Italy. What can’t be ignored is their service with the absence of finesse. Our server stashed our dishes before the whole party had finished eating. This happened not just once but twice. But not to mention their demands for tips because apparently the fixed European wage isn’t enough, but I’m guessing they’re pretty bad off considering our server was basically forcing us to donate our money to his below-average performance. Considering the pricing and our server basically running a fundraiser for his own bad service this place gets a solid 2 ⭐️. The food can’t make up for the experience no matter how good your company is. If you want Italian food in Berlin; go somewhere else.

Shockingly rude host. Rude to me and to several others just asking if there was a table available. Literally said “no get out” and then went out of his way to slam the door.

A wonderful restaurant that truly embodies the Italian ambiance. I recommend the spaghetti frutti di mare, a combination of spaghetti and seafood, to those with a palate that thrives on octopus and calamari.

Verona was excellent, very professional and pleasant

We booked a table for 4 people. We arrived 15 minutes late and were immediately turned away. There is no mention anywhere that the table is immediately given back if there is a delay and the way we were turned away was rude enough to ensure we would never want to go back.

Sadly our experience was marred. We had just been served our mains when I accidentally knocked my wine into my dinner (breaking the glass). They took her meal away (as to be expected) but then they just left me to sit there and watch whilst the rest of my family ate and drank. I was bought no food to replace, no drink, nothing. We were shocked by this. This would never have happened in the UK, obviously things are different in Berlin or at this restaurant anyway. Food itself was ok. Nothing special but ok. It certainly wasnt the €170 worth we paid (3 x starter, 2x salad, 2x pizza, 1 glass wine, 2 colas, 1 spritz) and then bullied because we refused to leave a tip. A tip for allowing me to sit there with nothing without even attending our table again to see if we required further service, having taken my food.

The two of us spontaneously dropped in early on a weekday and got a table right away. We had delicious bruschetta for starters, and pizza and pasta for main courses. The pizza was average, and the pasta was delicious. The prices are a bit above average for Berlin, but the service probably makes up for it, as the servers are very attentive. Terrible service and very salty and bad food! I don't know how you got this review, because the service is truly terrible. I was a victim of xenophobia, being completely ignored by the waiter and treated poorly. Don't expect anything good from this restaurant.

We waited an hour for four pasta dishes and two pizzas. When we asked the waiter, he told us we were a "large table." There were six of us. Not sure if it was a large table! And once we were finally served, a waiter came over and said, "Happy?" How disrespectful! And in the end, a 10% tip was mandatory. We had to explain three times that we didn't want to tip. And he pretended not to understand. Terrible service.

A very good Italian restaurant in Berlin. They have outdoor tables and a dining room with windows overlooking the street. Both the tuna salad and the burratta pizza are highly recommended. The service is good and fast, although a bit serious. It would have been appreciated if they could provide glasses of water. I asked for it and they gave me a bottle.

Great service. Great place. Average food, 4 stars because I found it lacking in seasoning. I ordered pesto pasta. The pesto seemed watery.
