La Terraza in Konstanz

First time and by chance. Excellent accommodation. I found only the menu Italian. Normal food, very slow and unfriendly service. Dessert ordered, but never served. I don't think we'll return

Sat on the terrace for almost 30 minutes. Service was present but did not even look at us. Constantly walked around us but did not bring a menu or take an order. Our patience was gone and we left.

The terrace was far too hot. Then, without saying anything, our table and chair were taken away without even mentioning it. And then we were asked to move. The pizza frutti de mare was very soggy. And the seafood was flavorless. Just a lot of seasoning.

If you want to experience how miserable service can be, this restaurant is the place for you. The staff is unfriendly, and the service leaves much to be desired.

Wonderful atmosphere, but unfortunately, I couldn't really enjoy the food: Spaghetti Gorgonzola was almost cold and tasted more like cream.

Very unassuming but incredibly delicious! The portions are large and more than reasonable for the price! The service is excellent, and we'd love to come back!

As an Italian I felt insulted when I walked in. They make them out to be real Italians, then you come in and see the waitresses wearing headscarves... the food can't be compared to Italy at all. La Terrazza is actually spelled with a ZZ, prosciutto they forgot an S, etc... If the spelling is a problem, well, that says it all. I can't recommend the place at all, the people are unfriendly and you can tell straight away that they are anything but Italian. Pizza was extremely overpriced and it didn't even taste good. When the pizza was served to us they also gave it a TEDI knife... what can I say now... After paying I was glad to be able to leave the place.

My boyfriend and I were in Konstanz on Lake Constance for the first time and stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. My boyfriend is Italian and the internet said this restaurant is run by Italians, so we made a reservation. Aside from the fact that the lady in charge was definitely not Italian, reservations were constantly being moved around, meaning we couldn't sit in our reserved table. We ordered food: brusschetta, two pizzas, and a wine spritzer. The wine spritzer tasted of nothing. The brusschetta came with spring onions, so it was anything but Italian. And the pizza? The crust of the pizza had already collapsed and the butter was soft, definitely not a proper Italian pizza. The service wasn't particularly friendly; we were completely overwhelmed; the menus were just thrown at us. The name "La Terazza" is also misspelled. All Italian dishes are misspelled. And then they charged an awful lot of money for it. All in all, I'm really disappointed. If you're going to pretend to be Italian, you should at least make an effort to appear that way. And maybe not speak a language other than Italian.

We were warmly welcomed by the manager and found a sunny spot on the terrace overlooking the lake. The service was very particular and not exactly friendly. She reminded me strongly of "Brian's" grumpy mother. The food, however, was delicious and appetizingly presented, and we enjoyed it. Overall, however, the overall concept wasn't all that great. The service definitely needs improvement...

The pizzas were good, but the service was a disaster. We ordered two pizzas, a beer, and a spritzer. It took 20 minutes for someone to come to our order. There were only a few customers in the restaurant. After I finished my beer, the owner walked by twice without asking if we wanted anything else or clearing away the empty plates. We had to go inside to pay ourselves because no one else came out onto the terrace. Only the owner spoke German, so there were communication problems there as well. In summary: not a recommendation.

Friendly, elderly owners run this restaurant with a terrace overlooking the lake. It's a tennis club, so please be careful about the ambiance inside. Good Italian cuisine and reasonable prices. If you're looking for a 5-star Gaullist restaurant, you've come to the wrong place. We think it's fantastic and would love to come back!

Main dish and dessert was very good and the view of the lake was good but the service was incredibly slow. We ordered a second round of drinks and some more food and only the food came. After waiting for about an hour we decided to just pay and leave.

The four of us were taking a walk along Lake Constance at lunchtime and by chance we found the restaurant by the tennis court. The service was very friendly, the food was good, the service was quick. The price-performance ratio is quite reasonable. There are seats in the house and also on a terrace.

Waiting times are far too long for service to arrive. Service is demotivated and overwhelmed, ignores the guest who is waiting to place their order. As for the food, I can't say anything yet because after half an hour I still couldn't order anything.

Really delicious, unfortunately the owner of the building, the tennis club, doesn't do anything for people with walking difficulties (elevator, etc.), so it can only be reached via stairs. Food can also be ordered for pickup. The terrace(s) at La Terraza are great 👍🏻

The food was really tasty, the portions and the price were really good. The service was a bit irritating to be honest. A lot of things were misunderstood, drinks didn't come, repeat orders were only made when asked again, etc. If you can ignore that, you will get solid cuisine at a good price and a beautiful view of the lake. Unfortunately, the seating is a bit tight and overall the facility is very old, but you can overlook that. As I said, it was just the service that really irritated us.

The restaurant is not an Italian pizzeria. I think it's more Turkish. The boss with a headscarf is very strange. The menu praises Italy, it's not an Italian restaurant. The pizza, in terms of the spices, tastes like it's in a kebab shop. The ambience is nice, but for consistency and the great Location. I won't stop here again. A frozen pizza tastes better.

The picture is a bit misleading. The view from the terrace isn't quite as nice. But that doesn't matter, because the food is very good and also reasonably priced. Since this is a clubhouse, the interior is kept rather simple.

Great pizzas, very friendly service

We ended up at “La Terraza” via Google search and the positive reviews during a short trip to Lake Constance. We were warmly welcomed and served very nicely. The pizza (and also the tomato soup) was very tasty, price/performance ratio is absolutely right here! And with the espresso we were brought a schnapps or amaretto on the house. Mega! That's how hospitality works! If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely come back!

It is difficult or even impossible to access for wheelchair users. Otherwise very nice staff and the food is very good.

We sat inside because it was already too cold outside. The view of the tennis hall wasn't that great, but otherwise the atmosphere is nice. Toilets aren't that great, just athletes' home.

L'endroit ne paie pas de mine et jouxte le club de tennis. Les pizzas sont bonnes et pas chère. Je ne peux pas noter l'ambiance car nous étions quasiment les seuls.

An einem herrlichen, sonnigen Tag waren wir nach einem schönen Spaziergang am Ufer des Bodensee bei Konstanz dort zum Kaffee und Kuchen gelandet. Wir sind dann zum Abendessen nochmals auf die Terrasse beim Sonnenuntergang gegangen. Service gut, Essen prima und Ambiente wunderbar. Es war sehr gut besucht. 👍

Tisch wurde am Vorabend für auf der Terrasse reserviert für 4Personen. Tisch war bei ankommen zur gegebenen Zeit nicht vorhanden und wir wurden nicht begrüßt. Am Tisch später dauerte es ca. 10min. bis wir die Karte erhielten und auch hier wurden wir wieder nicht begrüßt! Totale personelle Unterbesetzung für ca. 150Tische innen und außen nur 2Bedinungen=1sehr unfreundliche ältere Dame und ein jüngerer Herr. Beide keine Italiener. Pizza war okay. Salat kam nicht wie bestellt als Vorspeise sondern mit Hauptspeise und nicht wie bestellt unangemacht zum selbst anmachen sondern fertig angemacht, es waren beide extra abbestellte Zutaten trotzdem in riesigen Mengen zum selbst rauspicken trin für einen föllig überzogenen Preis! Das Trinkgeld viel komplett aus wegen der schlechten Bedienung und den langen Wartezeiten bis zum Tisch, zum Bestellvorgang und dem Bezahlen. Kellner lief regelmäßig trotz gemeinsamen winken und zurufen immer wieder an uns vorbei!!! Wir beschlossen für künftige Abende an denen wir gerne essen gehen möchten und wirklich italienisch essen möchten andere Lokalitäten aufzusuchen.

Seit Jahren tolles italienisches Essen zu günstigen Preisen: Risotto al Pollo einfach sehr lecker 😋... und dazu der schöne Ausblick 👍👍👍🥰 Hunde und Kinder sind willkommen.

Hatten die beste Pizza welche man in der Umgebung haben kann! Ich hatte die Pizza "Corona" mit Champignons, Artischocken und Gorgonzola. Ein Traum, selbst am Folgetag noch unglaublich lecker gewesen! Die Servicekräfte waren alle freundlich und sympathisch! Kommen gerne wieder, wenn wir das nächste Mal am "Spielplatz Schmugglerbucht" sind.

Wir waren zu 4., das Essen war so lala. Das 4. Essen kam nicht, und es kam auch keine Entschuldigung. In diesem Sinne werden wir das Restaurant weiterempfehlen. Pfui.

Ristorante situato davanti a lago di Costanza, parte est. Un po´ difficile raggiungere la posizione e difficolta´ nel trovare parcheggio. Ristorante grande con due terrazze a disposizione e vista su eventuali partite di Tennis. Il ristorante si presenta un pochino tralasciato.. Peccato. Servizio discreto e ´´molto amichevole´´. Il menu´ e´ molto vasto, il cibo e´ ottimo con prezzi per tutti.

Wir waren 4 Personen und haben in unserem Urlaub mal wieder sehr lecker gegessen. Der Pizzateig ist sehr gut und kross. Die Bedienung sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Auch unser Hund hat gleich Wasser bekommen. Im nächsten Urlaub gerne wieder

Wow! Dieses Restaurant hat mich für 45min nach Italien gebeamt!! Die Scampi sind der Wahnsinn und die Pizza ein echter Traum! Das Personal ist super lieb und macht das wirklich mit Leidenschaft und Tradition:) die Aussicht auf den See ist super und das Essen kam mega mega schnell:D bin rund um begeistert! Toll wirklich!!! 10/10

Ein echter Italiener in/neben einer Tennishalle, abseits vom Konstanzer trubel. Das Essen ist hervorragend und dies ist unsere Adresse Nr. 1, wenn wir keine Reservierung für den Abend haben. Es gibt sehr viele Plätze im Restaurant oder auf der Sonnenterasse, welcher La Terraza ihren Namen gibt. Das Preis-Leistung-verhätnis ist immer wieder eine Freude. Danke!

Der Name des Restaurants und die Lage lässt anderes vermuten, als es am Ende ist. Ein Restaurant am Tennisclub von dessen Terrasse man einen Blick auf den See hat. Pizzen waren super!
