It's always amazing how you feel like you've found a culinary oasis as soon as you enter. The great, super nice service staff then completes this picture. The presentation of the dishes is very appealing and lovingly different. We have never been disappointed in terms of taste. Keep it up.

There were three of us on Saturday. Two dishes came at the same time. After we asked several times for the third portion, it came This only after we were finished. We actually wanted to have dinner together. I ordered an "Insalata tagliata". For a handful of arugula and two small cocktail tomatoes and a little The restaurant charges a whopping 21.90 euros for each strip of beef fillet... an absolute disgrace for me.

I went to the isar river and then to la Sophia for Lunch. Awesome tasty pizza around 4 pm onwards. Nice staff , especially Ana was very helpful, she knows English along with German. Highly recommended for a nice time.

This place was recommended to us as “child friendly”, but that’s a big lie! Small place and unfriendly service. Definitely don't go with children! One star is too many.

Delicious fresh and real Italian food for a very fair price. The menu is sometimes unclear on the website, but there is an extensive menu with pasta, pizza and salads. Atmosphere is cozy and cozy, inside and outside.

Food was very tasty. Service TOP! We were only a little disappointed with the large mixed salad, as it didn't match the price/performance ratio. Nevertheless, there are 5 stars.

A special highlight of our visit to Munich were the two evenings at La Sophia - "Sopherl": the best quality of food at affordable prices. Pleasantly designed rooms and the terrace in the green on the edge of the Oberau meant that we didn't have to think about going anywhere else for the second evening seek. We will remember a very attentive and friendly service, thank you to the whole team! Hello folks, We have always been very happy with the service and quality of the food, but unfortunately we were very disappointed this week. Overcooked and unsalted pasta...the service was simply overwhelmed!!!! You can do better!!!!

Food was great, portions normal, not big, but for me personally it was just right. It was very loud in the shop and the furniture was quite outdated, wooden chairs, scratched tables, maybe it was intended that way and is charming)) despite the fact that it was shortly before closing time, we had to wait a while until the menu cards were brought and after we had water ordered and wanted to continue ordering an aperitif, the condition was already gone. Then no aperitifs. What I found sweet was that we were asked if we wanted to drink coffee later or could the coffee machine be cleaned?)

Very friendly service, despite the large number of customers. Nice place to sit outside and pleasantly designed interior. Also cool location and I think it's pretty popular in the lower Au and the neighboring Untergiesing. Also commendable is the fact that the service asked why no 5 stars for the food. My reason: The food is simply good 👍. There are five stars for VERY good food.

Absolutely inedible spaghetti carbonara, we also had tagliatelle in truffle sauce, completely tasteless, only the salt and butter could be tasted. Really not again.

Als die Bedienung unserer halbvollen Teller sah , fragte sie ob’s nicht okay wäre und wir es haben nacheinander gesagt, es wäre versalzen. Ihre Antwort war, ob mir denn noch was zu trinken möchten,

We made reservations at 12 p.m. Unfortunately we had to wait almost an hour until we got our order. Reason from the waitress: “We first have to change the kitchen from brunch to lunch”. This can be done better

Unfortunately, the children's play area is currently being closed down, there are only a few cuddly toys and strange books (no story behind them, half of the pages are missing, or in a foreign language,...). It's a shame, we came by mainly because of the children's play area. Otherwise the café/restaurant is good, but nothing special... The service was always super friendly and on the ball.

Unfortunately I can't provide any information about the food on site because we waited a good 30 minutes directly in front of the served outdoor area and - to put it bluntly - were completely ignored by both waiters... After a few weeks we still wanted to try the food and we had it picked up. Unfortunately, the carbonara and the pizza were really cold and therefore a good assessment is not possible here either. It's actually a real shame because we live right around the corner and would like to go there more often.

Went for dinner last night, waited 40 minutes without being served, two waiters for the entire outdoor area. Pizza was okay, but not worth €14 for a prosciutto. Today we both have an upset stomach. Definitely need to increase staff or reduce the size of the outdoor area.

We sat outside for breakfast. The breakfast was great, it would have been nice if we had been given the option of a quieter table, there were still quite a few free and if we had been offered a second coffee. Otherwise everything was great.

Die Bedienung war unfreundlich, pasta war kalt und nicht besonders gut, die Pizzen waren ebenfalls sehr fade. Dafür waren die Speisen überteuert und nicht mal schmackhaft. Dieses Restaurant ist definitiv nicht zu empfehlen.

Nice Italian restaurant with gluten-free options. Unfortunately, the chef was ill during our visit and there were therefore no gluten-free main courses. A brief information about this in advance would have been very good, as one person in our group has to eat a gluten-free diet. So we only drank a bottle of local water (for €7!) and then went to another restaurant.

The entire team (especially the two waitresses) seemed as if they didn't know where they were. The communication was poor, as if they didn't dare to answer. The food was unfinished, especially the poached eggs. A pity. Finally, I would like to say that we were there 2 weeks ago - there would have been 5 stars for everything and everyone...! It was probably the team…

As always, the pizza was delicious, the salad was good and the service was extremely attentive and friendly.

Wir hatten mehrere Pizzen bestellt, aber keine war wirklich gut. Z.B. hatten wir eine Cappricciosa ohne Schinken, die trotzdem 14,90 gekostet hat und mit sage und schreibe 5 (!) Oliven und 3 spärlichen Vierteln Artischocke belegt war. Das war alles. So mager belegte Pizzen sind uns noch nie untergekommen. Ausserdem waren alle Pizzen recht trocken und der Teig sehr dünn. Schade!

We originally came across the restaurant because we were looking for something cozy to eat in a nice atmosphere but also with opportunities for the children to play. (1.5 and 3 years old). The play area was nice, but there weren't enough options for small children (unfortunately there were only books), something to paint with or building blocks would have been great. What was also a bit of a shame was that unfortunately you weren't allowed to take the strollers with you.

La Sophia advertises breakfast. The breakfast menu is too poor for this because there is little choice, the quality is mediocre and the prices are too high. (e.g. 3 small pancakes with some fruit 12.-). The service is fair to good. Nevertheless, a clear NO, NO RECOMMENDATION. Oh yes: Contrary to the homepage, La Sophia only opens at 10 a.m.!

It used to be a good place in the area to spontaneously pick up a pizza (particularly on Pizza Monday for 9.90 - but it has been abolished). However, the prices are set too high for those who simply pick up a simple pizza (which, mind you, is ok, but nothing special), but that makes it more attractive... nothing has changed in the VAT rate of 7% for take-away...

I was excited because there is egg bendict. they were very tasty. But it was hard to decide because there are other great things on the menu. The atmosphere was also good, I missed a bit more coziness, but everyone sees it differently. The service was great, I would also give it 0 stars. I'd love to come back.

We went on a Saturday as a group for lunch. The restaurant was quite full, but there were only 2 people serving. The service was really slow, it took them a long time to take our order. When the dishes arrived, my pasta was less warm than I’d wish for, and by the time I started eating it (all dishes served) it was cold. They also mixed up some drinks and one salad in our table. The food was ok, but everyone agreed they had eaten better pizzas/pastas/salads. A positive point is the playground area for children - is quite nice, the kids enjoyed being there.

The pizzas are very solid and delicious. However, the price is a bit high for the product delivered. Service is quick and good. Ambience depends on how busy the store is. Depending on how busy it is, it can be too loud and cramped. But places in front of the door in sunny weather are very nice.

Super satisfied, we were here for breakfast. What I'm missing is a classic breakfast on the menu, i.e. egg, bacon, ham, cheese, but that's a matter of taste. As a little insider tip, you can recommend the hot chocolate

We went to this restaurant spontaneously and I have to say the ambience and service was good. Unfortunately I have to say, the pizza wasn't good. The ground was far, far too thin and dry and burnt. Salad and bread were delicious.

Food and service are very good. Unfortunately, especially in the back area, the large tables are far too narrow. It was also extremely loud and conversation wasn't actually possible.

Nice restaurant but the food wasn't perfect. Just normal pasta, nothing special. Unfortunately a few shrimps were rotten in my pasta. The pizza had burnt crust. The desserts weren't that bad, but unfortunately the price-quality ratio wasn't right. The waitress was nice at the beginning, but after two hours she was very nervous and didn't want to serve us (we were celebrating our birthday). There is a children's corner in the restaurant. There was also old music playing, which was like nostalgia and we really liked it. Unfortunately I can't recommend it for celebrations. You can probably just show up and eat something, but if there is the possibility of choosing another seat and making a reservation, I would do the second option.

Once they apparently had a different pizza baker and it was really tasty. I'm only basing my rating on pizza and I have to say that it's pretty weak for a pizzeria. Otherwise a nice shop.

Excellent! We were here with 30 students for pizza and everything worked great, even though we had booked at very short notice. The people were super nice and accommodating! In terms of time, it was a bit hectic at the end because we had to leave again after 1 1/2 hours, but in terms of the lead time for the reservation, that's totally ok! I would love to come back and my students thought it was great too! Praise to the staff!

We had made reservations on Sun, of course there were a lot of people with children and it was very loud. Had to wait a long time to order, the food came relatively quickly, but it wasn't anything special. Was okay.

Great restaurant to go with children

The play area is closed and you can't come here without a reservation because everything is fully booked. Update 1/15/2024: I gave La Sophia a second chance, this time with a booking. The restaurant is very cozy and the food is delicious. It's just a shame that on Sundays before 12:30 you can only order the breakfast menu. I find the breakfast portions a bit too small when you come for lunch. The play area is also nice, but also pretty worn and far away from dining tables.

Sehr nettes Lokal, bisschen retro eingerichtet, freundliches Personal. Nudeln und Antipasti waren gut, Tiramisu hat Luft nach oben. Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre!!

10 von 10! Super cooles Café/Restaurant für Frühstück, Brunch oder Abendessen. Sehr schnell und unkompliziert mit der Ubahn zu erreichen. Wenn die Sonne scheint, kann man auch draußen sitzen. Das Ambiente wirkt Abends sehr gemütlich und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Die Pasta und der Service waren auch spitze. Gerne wieder!

Die Spielecke auf der Website hat leider gar nichts mit der Realität zu tun, bis auf ein paar (kaputte) Bücher gab es nicht mehr. Das Lokal ist recht schmudelig. Das Frühstück war ok, wobei wir im Anschluss woanders woran um satt zu werden. Das Personal war super freundlich! Für uns leider kein 2. Mal.

Das la Sophia war eine klasse Entdeckung für uns. Aus irgendwelchen Gründen sind wir noch nie dort gewesen, obwohl unsere Agentur nicht wirklich weit weg davon ist. Das Essen war superlecker und die Bedienung total freundlich, aufmerksam und sympathisch. Ein klasse Restaurant. :-)

Leider KEIN Restaurant für Kinder mehr, die Spielecke wurde aufgelöst. Es gibt nur ein paar Bücher. Sehr schade, wir kamen wegen der Spielecke, für unsere Kids.

Auch wenn wir noch nicht hier waren, möchten wir die vorhandene Option der Spieleecke mit einem großen Daumen nach oben würdigen und freuen uns, bald mal hier etwas abschalten zu können, während sich unser Sohn über die vorhandenen Spielmöglichkeiten freut! :) Kleines Feedback: Gerne auch bis 19 Uhr öffnen, dann ist auch für alle Eltern mit Kindern ein frühes Abendessen drin ;)

Aufmerksame Bedienung, die Antipasti & Calzone allerdings mit billigen dt. Zutaten (Käse, Wurst aus Lidl o. a.?). Beides nicht gut. Das Wochengericht (Pilzravioli) an der Tafel war lecker. Insg. leider sehr laut.

Die Servicekraft war alleine. Das Lokal rappelvoll. Trotzdem kam das Essen ohne lange Wartezeit und der "Ober" blieb völlig cool, war flott und superfreundlich. Im Lokal selbst war es recht frisch. Man musste den Mantel anbehalten

Im Essensbereich an der Wand mit der Frau stehen die Tische sehr eng, öfter Kontakt mit den Gästen im Rücken. Die Spielecke ist leider gar nicht so ausgestattet wie auf den Bildern der Internetseite. Entweder aufstocken oder Internetbilder anpassen. Hatten das Lokal extra deswegen ausgesucht. :( Großes Lob an den Service und die Küche, sehr leckeres Essen und nette Bedienung :)
