Fami in München

The toppings on the pizza could have been more, dough was ok. Unfortunately very few service staff. Oil, pepper...all upon request.

Update Sept 24: The old operators are back! And so does the family! Finally! Original: Before the change of operator, we regularly and happily went to Fami's or got pizzas. Not since then. Both the quality of the food and the service are no longer where they used to be. The prices are really steep (even if you take into account the general price increase), especially for drinks. It's a shame, Fami was our favorite place for pizza for a long time

It's an okay restaurant in the middle of a residential area. Food was hit & miss. The burger was good, pizza and pasta not so much. The service was ok. Drinks are a bit too expensive.

I've been to FAMI a few times now and every time we had arrogant waiters. The restaurant is located in a residential area where many families live, so not on Maximilianstrasse, but the staff behaves that way. 0.5 ml wine spritzer for 13 euros is simply exorbitant, but beer was out last time, as were olives, etc. It was my last visit there

Clearly 5 stars. It looks inconspicuous, but the food is a hit. The service... I haven't had such good service for a long time (the waiter still knew who had which dish and what to drink when doing the billing) The ambience is rather simple, but serves its purpose. Thanks. Gladly again

Great restaurant. Staff is super friendly and warm The food was super delicious! Had 2 pizzas and salads. Everything fresh and delicious. And the best: the price-performance ratio The prices are really really good! Especially for Munich conditions It's great to sit outside and stop there after a great walk in the park. But you should make reservations to be on the safe side. We'd love to come back soon

Beautifully centrally located in the Ackermannbogen. Unfortunately under staffed on the last visit. It's a shame because it meant a long wait for everyone. Food is great as always. Price performance is OK

Unfortunately, even if there are free tables, you rarely get a seat and are turned away in a rather uncharacteristic way. But we managed to do it twice and the food was very good.

The chefs/pizza makers and the service always have to pay. Waited almost 40 minutes for two pizzas while stacks were being handed out to go and with only one pizza maker. I understand the lack of staff, but not the top bosses who can't get enough of it! Above all, if I had known beforehand that it would take longer, I wouldn't have stayed. Let's see when it's closed again.

Update July 7, 2024 We have been here a few times over the last few years. Last time on July 7th. However, we had the impression that there had been a change of ownership. I had reserved about 4 weeks (June 9th) in advance and also stated in the reservation that of the 7 people, 5 would probably order a beef fillet. On the day of the reservation (my birthday, btw) I had two missed calls from an unknown number. Even though my voicemail was turned on, this number didn't leave me a message. Even when I googled the number, no results came up, so I assumed it was a fake call (which unfortunately happens more often these days). When we arrived at Fami and I gave my name, which was the name of the reservation, I was immediately approached very rudely by the shift manager (?): He had called me several times today because he didn't know which fillet of beef I was talking about in the reservation had. I informed him that I had a voicemail that he could have accessed - he replied that there was no voicemail. If there's anything I hate, it's lies. He added that there was no beef tenderloin as I thought of it (we had ordered this on our previous visits and had always loved it). He casually said that he only saw this addition in the reservation today (I made a reservation almost 4 weeks ago and only today did I see it?!), but the beef tenderloin is not there. No apology, no exchange on equal terms, just mushy and condescending. We couldn't change restaurants at such short notice, so we stayed. For example, there was also a drink on the menu that they no longer had - but that was only in passing. The waiter at the table was very friendly, but the gentleman at the beginning made us feel very uncomfortable. We won't come anymore. ------- We were there for lunch on a Sunday. Price-performance ratio is completely okay. Waiter a bit inattentive. Location quiet. Pizza good, Cesar salad a bit bland. All in all: next time we'll come in the evening and test it again.

Actually a nice location to watch the European Football Championship on the flat screens outside in the summer. Thank you that the reservation went so well. We had a great place. Unfortunately, we had to keep looking for our waiter throughout the evening and the waiter from the neighboring tables didn't feel responsible and didn't tell his colleague everything. Result: we would have eaten and drank a lot more, but didn't even get around to ordering. It's a shame because the pizzas were good, the desserts were really tasty and the beer in the steins was nice and cold. Unfortunately the service was subpar.

We just had a super bad experience in the family. Actually we just wanted to enjoy a quick coffee. We then had to have the alleged manager give us instructions on how to raise children. He also served other tables with a print of 3 days of rainy weather. (5 tables occupied) Our crime - my son put a stick figure figure on the table with 3 knives and 2 forks from the cutlery. The good man may have personal problems, but he can keep things like that to himself. Above all, he doesn't need to yell at us and tell us about raising children. A little kindness wouldn't be bad either! We'll rather leave the €23 for coffee, tiramisu and soda somewhere else in the future.

This is actually my first 1 star post. Unfortunately I can't say anything about this company because we weren't served. Briefly and that's it! PS, there were enough staff on site Update to the question "We don't open until 11:30 a.m.?" That may be the case, we were with you yesterday at around 2 p.m. You had two guests at one table on the terrace and about ten guests at another table. That was it .. oh yes .. we were there too

We chose the lunch menu and pizza. Pizza was ok. However, the so-called lunch menu was a carelessly thrown together and completely burnt leftovers. Never again!!!

Well, there were a lot of free tables outside. There were two of us and we weren't allowed to sit at a table for four. (Of course no customers came either) The tiramisu tasted stale like Gorgonzola (strange); The peppermint tea is not peppermint tea, but hot water with fresh peppermint leaves. Also very strange. In any case, I won't be coming back.

We're visitors from Florida, U.S. Our first night in Munich we were so tired from our flight, we went to the first restaurant we could find close to the Hotel-Motel One, where we were staying the week. We wanted a meal to remember. My husband had a fabulous personal pizza and I had a bun-less burger with french fries. I don't know if it was the potatoes, the fry method, or what, but the French fries were the absolute best in the world! We really enjoyed Fami! P.S. the wait staff are fantastic too!

Update April 2024: We tried it again and were not disappointed this time. Relaxed and child-friendly service. Interesting new dishes. Good atmosphere. ___ Update July 2023: After an apparent change of ownership, the above-average food is still good in terms of price, but when it comes to service and child-friendliness, things are now going in the opposite direction. There are no changing tables and a child who picks up a stone will quickly be annoyed by the service. This is not a one-off experience; over several visits, we now have a 3-year-old daughter and it became clear that the concept of "We are family" no longer exists. It's a shame, this will be our last visit as a family. ___ Very attentive and friendly service. We enjoyed a relaxed children's birthday party in a quiet side room because the rainy weather had forced us indoors. The food selection is plentiful and comes to the table beautifully prepared. Everyone was impressed with everything from pizza to pasta and steak. We will definitely come back and recommend it.

One of the best pizzas in Munich! I had the San Daniele and my companion the San Gennaro, both tasted amazing! This restaurant will now be our go-to pizza place in the neighborhood.

Ambiance is a matter of taste. Food tastes good. Prices a bit high. But without a reservation you have to be lucky to get a seat.

Went there spontaneously, got a table without any problems, the food, service and price-performance ratio were great, definitely a hidden gem. :)

Wenn die Messerattrappen gegen richtige Messer ausgetauscht würden, käme man mit weniger Muskelkraft klar. Das fehlende Salz in der Suppe lässt auf den aktuellen Beziehungsstatus des Kochs schließen. Ansonsten waren die Leute sehr freundlich und das Essen durchaus in Ordnung.

A really delicious pizza in a cozy and tasteful location with first-class conditions. I haven't had such good pizza in a restaurant in a long time. The waiters are also incredibly friendly and attentive. I recommend this restaurant 100 percent.

Very good, somewhat hidden pizzeria. Large, generously topped pizzas. Great and attentive service that doesn't take long to arrive. The homemade elderberry spritzer is highly recommended. Good value for money for Munich standards. Absolutely recommended and definitely worth a visit if you are in Munich.

Very great, pleasant restaurant with very tasty food and super nice service

It is better to avoid this restaurant with children. When our son (without shoes) walked along the corner bench (the seats next to and were free), we were approached in an extremely unfriendly manner with flimsy arguments to stop this. After we did not accept this tone, the menus were taken away and we were told that they were not obliged to serve us. If we hadn't had our son with us, who was hungry, we would have left this restaurant immediately. So we stayed, but the food (two pizzas) was average at best. That was definitely our first and last visit there.

Four of us were there without a reservation and had a very pleasant evening. Very tasty food, extremely nice and friendly staff and a very pleasant atmosphere. A pizza was prepared vegan at our request. If we're in the area again, we'll come back. Thank you for the lovely evening!

Online geöffnet - tatsächlich aber geschlossen und die Öffnungszeiten an der Tür stimmen ebenfalls nicht! War um 17.30 Uhr dort und an der Tür sowie im Internet stand geöffnet ab 17 Uhr 😞

Haben hier die beste Pizza jemals gegessen. Sie war wirklich unglaublich lecker mit hochwertigen und frischen Zutaten. Das schmeckt schon beim ersten Biss. Der Service ist super zuvorkommend und kennt sich aus. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Danke für den netten Abend und das tolle Essen.

Lange nicht mehr so einen guten Lachs gegessen, war kurz davor, den Teller abzuschlecken..... Gemütlich eingerichtet. Bissl fusskalt, aber das ist ja Ansichtssache....gerne komme ich hier wieder einmal hin. Aber dann bitte laktosefreie und /oder Hafermilch für den Kaffee danach ...

Bewertung 4,4? Kann das wirklich echt sein? In einer Wohngegend? Nun, skeptisch war ich schon, doch, ich finde sogar, dieses Restaurant kratzt stark an der 5,0. "Wir sind Familie" findet man auf der Homepage zu lesen. Gefühlt schreibt diesen Slogan jedes zweites Restaurant. Im Fami aber, ist genau dieses Gefühl wirklich zu spüren. Der Empfang ist herzlich, die Bedienung leidenschaftlich, der Service aufmerksam. Nachdem ich "König" Flo noch als Betriebsleiter früherer Restaurants kenne (...und der Ton nicht immer wohlklingend war ;)) , kann ich nur sagen: In deinem Fami bist du zu Hause und an der richtigen Stelle. Du hast eine wertvolle Führungskultur erschaffen und endlich deinen Traum verwirklicht. Glückwunsch, weiter so, großartiger Typ! Vielen Dank auch an den top Service von Memo, der uns einen entspannten Tag in der Frühlingssonne verschafft hat! Liebe Grüße, Mathias

The tomatosauce was acid (not freshly made) and pizza seasoning not really in line with my expectations.

Hatte die Salami-Pizza und dachte mir, typisch teures München, denn sie kostet 11,80 Eur. Aber als die riesige Pizza dann kam, dann wusste ich, der Preis ist absolut berechtigt. Leckerer Teig, schön dünn, Mozzarella als Käse und echte italienische Salami. Mega!

Sehr gut Pizzen - auch mal welche, die es nicht überall gibt - nur der Limoncello Spritz war ziemlich sauer . Nette Bedienung, die , bei der großen Hitze, zum Kaffee noch extra Wasser brachte

Sind über Neotaste auf das Restaurant gekommen, vor Ort wurde gesagt, dass man nicht mehr teilnimmt. Wäre natürlich gut wenn das Restaurant dies auch weitergibt. Essen war solide.

Essen war super! Getränke gut, allerdings war die Deko Minze schon nicht mehr frisch. Getränke auch etwas teuer für die Gegend. Service an diesem Tag leider ein bisschen unaufmerksam und eher nicht so freundlich.

Das Restaurant ums Eck, aber heute hatten wir einen arroganten Schnösel als Bedienung, der wörtlich sagte, dass er es nicht nötig hat, sich Kritik anzuhören. Aber es hat im Service gar nix gepasst. Begleitung hat rechten Arm im Gips. Alle Wünsche zum besseren Essen wurden ignoriert. Bisher waren wir das von dem Lokal nicht gewöhnt.

wir waren nach Corona zum ersten Mal wieder dort. Ich glaube es gibt neue Geschäftsführer, aber das weiß ich nicht sicher. Die Pizza war gut aber der Salat für 11,50 € absolut unmöglich. Viel zu wenig fast nichts drin, kaum dressing, Essig,Oel nur auf heftiges Nachfragen bekommen. Sowas geht gar nicht. Zum Vergleich: Im eher hochpreisigeren Italiener i d Clemensstraße in Schwabing kostet ein Beilagensalat 5,50 und ist groß u vielseitig - Essig,Oel usw IMMER sofort dazu

Leider habe ich schon wesentlich bessere Pizzen gegessen...

Der Pizza eilt ja schon ein guter Ruf voraus und das stimmt absolut! Hierfür volle Punktzahl. Auch sitzt man im Sommer sehr nett aussen. Beim Service hatten wir wohl einen weniger guten Tag erwischt mit deutlich Luft nach oben.

Wir haben einen tollen Abend im Fami gehabt. Der hervorragende Service und das leckere Essen hab uns viel Freude bereitet. So muss es sein! Hier wird Gastfreundschaft an erste Stelle gestellt. Vielen Dank und definitiv bis zum nächsten mal. Gude aus Frankfurt, Macht weiter so!

Tolles, schön gelegenes Restaurant!! Super freundlicher Service und wahnsinnig gutes Essen! Man merkt definitiv, dass Inhaber samt Crew hier mit sehr viel Freude am Werk sind. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder :-)

Ich war heute Mittag im Fami auf eine Pizza. Diese war wirklich lecker. Der Service war freundlich und schnell. Daher gerne bald wieder.

Haben Geburtstagsfeier mit 35 Personen im Fami gefeiert... Alles perfekt... Essen... Bedienung....Ambiente....Atmosphäre... Immer wieder gerne......Fami, kann ich nur empfehlen....!!!!
