Very nice and friendly service. Food very good and a great price/performance ratio. Pizzas very well topped. Special requests were no problem. Quiet atmosphere. We'll be back!

First time we tried this place as a takeaway by chance,and were amazed. Thus we made sure to revisit it each time we came to Roetgen. Pizzas are super fresh and full of flavor. They use industrial electrical oven, however the crust and overall taste can be very similar to a wood oven pizza. I beleve the high quality ingredients used make the pizza tasty. Staff is super friendly and quick. There an outdoor seating area. The atmosphere and the music were really nice and pleasant. There is no playground, they provide high chairs for childrens.

While some of the dishes are really good, I was very disappointed with the broccoli and spinach casserole. For €11 you basically only get broccoli or spinach baked with a little cheese - that's not only unimaginative, but also completely overpriced. I would have liked at least a richer preparation or better seasoning. It's a shame, because the restaurant definitely has potential, but dishes like this don't make you feel like you're being taken seriously as a guest. Update after the owner's response: Instead of responding to my criticism objectively, I was personally attacked - an absolute no-go for a restaurant. No one has questioned that running a business has costs, but that doesn't justify poor value for money. Professional restaurateurs take feedback seriously and use it to improve instead of treating guests condescendingly. Anyone who deals with criticism in this way clearly shows how little their customers mean to them.

We were a bit put off at first because of the reviews, but it was very tasty and we had a lovely waitress. Atmosphere was okay, apparently there was a bit of stress on site and there were a bit of angry phone calls/discussions. It's always a bit stupid for the armosphere, but the restaurant is still recommended, especially if you want to fortify yourself briefly.

If the pizza 🍕 were fully stocked, I would order there again. The margin is larger than the content. But the pizzas are delicious...

Great food! Must visit when in the neighborhood

The pizza was okay, the Bitburger barrel beer was not freshly tapped but bottled and stirred with a spoon so that it foams. The service, however, was very nice.

During our meal we had the feeling that there was a hidden camera. A pizza wasn't cooked yet, fried potatoes were frozen inside, pasta was still half raw, it didn't fit at the back and front and I can only agree. If you are thirsty, you risk dying of thirst here. Thank God we were only there on holiday, but we are used to something different.

The food was very tasty and, we thought, really good value for money. It was just a shame that we weren't asked if we wanted something more to drink. However, we came spontaneously about 1.5 hours before closing time and got a table, and then stayed until shortly before closing time, so understandable.

Food was great. The restaurant doesn't look very inviting from the outside, but inside it's a completely different story. Food was all ok. We were there for the third time.

The table we sat at was a bit sticky. In some cases we waited longer for the drinks, but I can ignore that if there is a bit more customer traffic in the restaurant. The bruschetta was made on some kind of pizza dough. I'm not familiar with it in that form, just on normal pieces of baguette. The food was okay, but I've actually eaten better pizzas before. At least card payment was possible. You have to give it credit for the fact that the price performance was really extremely good.

We order pizza and other dishes from this pizzeria very often and the food is always delicious. However, the quality sometimes varies, especially when the chef is off, which is clearly noticeable. The atmosphere in the pizzeria is not particularly cozy and does not invite you to linger for a long time. The service could also be improved as there is still potential for improvement. In addition, the pizzeria is located directly on a federal highway, which makes the outdoor area uninviting. This pizzeria is therefore more suitable for taking dishes home or elsewhere. However, if you're looking for delicious takeaway food, you're in good hands here.

When we were there there weren't many guests. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Pizza is very tasty. The restaurant is beautifully presented and appears to have been lovingly renovated recently. Unfortunately you can only sit outside with your dog.

Very nice staff and finally delicious pizza at an absolutely fair price. The restaurant is clean, but a little old. The terrace is nicely done but can be quite loud depending on the time of day as it is right on the main street. Still happy again.

Ordered lasagna and it said on the menu: Lasagna with molded meat. That's exactly how it happened. There was no minced meat to be found. Instead, there was the tomato sauce in which everything was swimming and unfortunately the lasagne sheets were not visible. When asked about it, the waitress unfortunately reacted really snippy. Then there was pizza bread with the “normal” salad. 4 pieces. When you reorder, 8 pieces will come. Amazement again. The waiter: "It's always been like that. The boss gives you bread with your salad. If you order it again, it costs 3.90 euros. That's what it says on the menu." Nope, that wasn't on the menu, even though she was waving it around.... well - and friendliness and deliciousness and we'll be back aren't on the menu either.

The food is mixed. Pasta with spinach in a cream sauce with garlic was good. Unfortunately that was it. The wide tagliatelle with beef and tomatoes simply tasted like a can of pureed tomatoes. When asked, we exchanged it for a Pizza Funghi, which was completely unseasoned. (At least as a gesture of goodwill) When paying you were then asked if you knew what you had ordered and that the pizzas were never seasoned. Unfortunately, there was no waiter to be seen for a long time until the payment process, even though the store was only half full. So the service is also mediocre. We won't be coming back any time soon. Update: After your distortion of the facts, we certainly won't be coming back. If you order something and say blackcurrant spritzer and then bring passion fruit, don't be surprised that they say, I didn't order that. Aside from that, there were two of us and we both tried the inedible food before letting it go back. ABSOLUTELY ridiculous...

Easy to find, not pretentious, fast service, good pizza, weissbier available, excellent value, background music quiet, tables well spaced and altogether very satisfactory.

They just deserve 5 star. The food here is out of this world specially pizza. After food the atmosphere is really important for everyone and I feel myself here really comfortable 💙🤍

Delicious pizza and good pasta.

This pizzeria has more than just pasta and pizza. For example, an affordable Döner dish with a good salad. The pizzas we ate were found to have a slightly too salty base Prices are good. Service is friendly

La pizza è buona e facilmente digeribile, offrendo un autentico sapore. Un luogo da consigliare per mangiare una buona pizza in un piccolo paese.

Super netter und schneller Service. Die Pizza war megalecker. Gerne bald wieder.

Nach der Bestellung zuerst mal 15 Minuten auf das Wasser gewartet und erst auf Nachfrage bekommen. Gemischter ital. Vorspeisenteller, viele braune Champignons und Zwiebeln, schön in Öl angebraten, reichlich und lecker, dazu Tomate, Mozzarella, Salami Scheiben und gekochter Schinken (der war definitiv überflüssig und nicht gut), Paprika und Oliven. Carpaccio auch gut mit viel Rucola und Parmesan. Beide Vorspeisen sind aber definitiv zu groß. Tagliatelle, einmal mit Porcini(?) in einer sahnigen Soße und dann als "frutti-di-mare" mit Kleinst-Frutti-di-Mare, aber die Pasta war gut gekocht. Die große Außenterasse wird derzeit nicht bewirtschaftet, schade. Eine zweite Chance demnächst vielleicht mal mit Pizza, die sahen zumindest sehr gut aus.

Essen war wirklich top- wir waren jetzt das dritte mal im Abstand von jeweils ca 2-3 Monaten dort. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Sympathisches und freundliches Personal ! Grosser Parkplatz- ich wüsste wirklich nichts zu bemängeln. Sogar ein veganer Freund war begeistert. Wir kommen wieder :)

Prima gelegenheid met uitgebreide mediterrane kaart en voldoende keuze, ook een behoorlijke keuze in bijgerechten en dranken. Ik begrijp dat de -nu- lage beoordeling te maken heeft met een vorige eigenaar. Wij bezochten dit restaurant direkt aan de Vennbahn in Roetgen vanavond, en werden plezierig verrast door de kwaliteit van het gebodene. Smakelijke pizza met verse ingredienten, keurige en voorkomende hardlopende bediening, aardige jongens in de keuken. Terwijl het duidelijk ook druk was met afhaalopdrachten hadden wij onze maaltijd binnen de kortste keren op tafel. Lekker, goed warm, en prettig geprijsd. Dat er buiten op het terras gerookt mag worden hoeft voor niemand een probleem te zijn, je kunt ook heerlijk binnen zitten. Wij komen hier graag een keer terug! .. Prima Restaurant mit einer umfangreichen mediterranen Speisekarte sowie einer guten Auswahl an Beilagen und Getränke. Ich verstehe aus den Bewertungen dass die jetzt niedrige Bewertung mit einem Vorbesitzer zusammenhängt. Wir haben heute Abend dieses Restaurant direkt an der Vennbahn in Roetgen besucht und waren angenehm überrascht von der Qualität des Angebots. Leckere Pizzen mit frischen Zutaten, netter und zuvorkommender Service, nette Leute in der Küche. Obwohl es offensichtlich auch viele Bestellungen zum Mitnehmen gab, hatten wir unser Essen im Handumdrehen auf dem Tisch. Lecker, heiß und preiswert. Dass das Rauchen draußen auf der Terrasse erlaubt ist, sollte für niemanden ein Problem sein, man kann auch drinnen sitzen. Wir kommen gerne wieder hierher!

Für mich ein Geheimtipp. Gemütlich eingerichtete Pizzeria, sauber, sehr freundliches Personal, gutes Essen, kurze Wartezeit, sehr faire Preise. Wir kommen wieder!

Die Bedienung sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, das Essen reichlich , schnell und sehr lecker: Carpaccio, Brot und Kräuterbutter, Pizza, Espresso, Grappa…. Sehr gut! Die Musik war erträglich, der Zimmerbrunnen eher nervig.

Essen ist immer sehr lecker, und das Personal super freundlich.

Leider waren die Pommes versalzen, ich habe das auch angemerkt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich

Bedienung unsympathisch und nicht gut eingewiesen, "korrigiert" meine korrekte Aussprache von bruschetta und wirkt nicht gut eingewiesen

Hi,in großen und ganzen ganz nett aber es ist Renovierung bedürftig.. essen ist lecker gewesen.

Sehr lecker, draußen etwas laut aber trotzdem schön.

Pizza leider echt enttäuschend. Sitzplätze auch leider ab der lauten Straße. Leider nicht zu empfehlen

Bellissima serata a cena alla Pizzeria la Rustica...per me è mio marito era la prima volta ma devo dire che é un ristorante molto pulito servizio eccellente ..personale ..Masu e Amed ..personale molto educato e alla mano ..La Pizza é la prima Pizza magnifica che abbiamo trovato in Germania..Consiglio ...Antipasto misto speciale ..mille saperi Pizzabrotc veramente squisiti!!! ..Ci torneremo volentieri..Merita di provare!!!

Haben essen zum mitnehmen geholt, war auch alles super lecker, jedoch wurde bei einer unserer pizzabestellungen die extra salami vergessen. War auch nicht zum ersten Mal so, dass eine oder mehrere Extrawünsche nicht berücksichtigt wurden.

Schmackhaftes Essen in netter Atmosphäre mit freundlicher Bedienung in der neu eröffneten Pizzeria an der Hauptstraße

Haben heute Essen zum mitnehmen abgeholt. Pizza & Nudeln waren in Ordnung, aber der Wow Moment hat bisschen gefehlt. Haben dem Restaurant nochmal ne Chance gegeben, allerdings mussten wir beim abholen auch recht lange warten, obwohl gar nicht viel los war. Ein Pluspunkt ist allerdings, dass sie direkt ans Telefon gehen und man nicht mehrmals anrufen muss, um bestellen zu können, sowie es die Jahre davor war.

Came in for a takeaway pizza on Saturday and ordered a Pepperoni with mushroom, got home and realised it had no meat on it whatsoever, despite me specifically asking for a "meaty" pizza. Pizza base also very thick. The other pizza place nearby was much better.

We went for lunch and were shouted at by the staff, treated terribly and ending up leaving. Despicable behavior in front of children. I advise against coming here

We stayed at Villa Vennblik across the car park from the restaurant where we also picked up the keys to our apartment. Later in the evening we headed through the snow to the Pizzeria which was very busy. We ordered a take away pizza that was ready quickly. The service was good and staff friendly. The pizza was delicious.

La Rustica is basically a small German town pizzeria but the menu choice is extensive and the fare copious and well prepared. Service is friendly and helpful. Well worth having something to eat here if you find yourself in Roetgen.

Food excellent, but somewhat marred by miserable/angry/unhelpful staff. Our complaint about a pizza was met with anger and a bad attitude which spoiled the meal.
