L´Osteria Aachen in Aachen

Unfortunately, despite pre-ordering the day before and waiting 15 minutes for everything to be picked up. There wasn't much going on in the restaurant itself. Food was for business partners who had to leave on time. They basically only started cooking when I came to pick it up. Not a good organization, unfortunately points are deducted for that. Are a good customer and order regularly for the entire company. It's a shame, but maybe it's time to look for a new restaurant.

Attentive service, huge pizza was heart shaped on Valentine's Day, nice atmosphere

The pizza was delicious as always! Our service Safa deserves special mention. She was really very nice and attentive. Rarely have I been served as well as by her.

We were here on a Friday evening. It was correspondingly hustle and bustle. The pizza was the size of a l'Osteria. It's not the first time I've asked myself what the small plates are for and what the blunt "knives" are supposed to do. But: Very nice staff - who can sometimes lose track of things in the hustle and bustle.

Despite having a reservation, we were repeatedly asked to wait at the counter. After 15 minutes we were still sitting there, even though suitable tables were available and families of the same size were seated fairly quickly, as were guests without reservations. Despite asking, nothing happened, so we left the restaurant without eating. Why make a reservation if it doesn't help anyway? The service seemed absolutely overwhelmed and unprofessional. As I said: It wasn't the first time and we weren't an isolated case either. A couple also left the restaurant with us without having accomplished anything. They waited over 20 minutes, despite having a reservation.

We made a reservation and got a good table straight away! It was very busy, but we were served quickly! The huge pizzas with extra thin dough were delicious and each half could be topped differently. The pasta dish was also absolutely delicious and plentiful! The staff in the kitchen were exemplary and very friendly! We'd love to come back!

L'Osteria, Aachen Important to know: If you want to eat out on the weekend, you should definitely make a reservation. However, it can happen that you still have to wait 10-15 minutes for a table despite having a reservation. Ambiance: The ambience is nice and inviting, even if it doesn't offer anything out of the ordinary. The furnishings are modern and cozy, so you feel comfortable. Service: The staff tries hard to cope with the large crowds, but sometimes you notice that they are a bit overwhelmed. This can lead to longer waiting times, which is particularly noticeable when the house is full. Nevertheless, the team remains friendly and professional. Eat: The food is tasty and solid. The starters are classic but well prepared. The pizzas are the highlight of the restaurant - especially because of their unusual size. The taste is usually excellent, although the quality can vary slightly depending on the day. Everything remains fair in terms of price. The dessert is definitely recommended. Conclusion: L’Osteria is a restaurant chain, but it stands out positively from many others. The food is good, if not earth-shattering - a solid Italian restaurant best known for its huge pizzas. The service can sometimes seem a bit overwhelmed when it's busy, but it's still worth a visit to try the famous pizza for yourself.

Like any other LOsteria, the offering is good, the food is okay and the service is OK. And as in every LOsteria branch, it is very loud in the evening. There are plenty of parking spaces, but there are not always enough in the evenings.

Were there on Valentine's Day. Even though all the tables were occupied, the service was super fast. We were served quickly and the food came in a short time. The waiters were very friendly and as a little bonus the pizzas came in heart shapes. The food itself tasted very good. Had a very nice evening with really good organization.

The people are just nice, the pizza is delicious, the whole atmosphere is just great. We don't even live in Aachen, we're from Duisburg. But I have to say in general that the brand really has something on it. Please in Aachen it was proven again. We'd love to be with you.

We always enjoy going to the Osteria with our little family. The food and ambience are perfect and the service is always very friendly! Unfortunately the prices have increased, but still fair. Thanks everyone and see you soon...

Atmosphere was nice, beautiful decoration, it had good reviews and the place was full for lunch in the middle of the week. However, the Pasta Bolognese was pretty bad, it tasted like pre-fabricated canned-bottled pasta and ragu. I felt sick afterwards. The pizza is large and was not bad, but I'd say below average.

Friendly staff and typical L'Osteria delicious food

Very convienient to park. There is also a corner for the kids. The kids really enjoy having lunch or dinner there. It could be better for the Pizza. But the salat is definitely good.

I've been there for dinner several times with friends and colleagues. No matter what I ate - it tasted very tasty! The service is very nice and the atmosphere is very cozy. Happy to come back!

Pierwsza wizyta zaliczona 🤭 duży, przestronny i pojemny lokal ( pomieści dużo gości). Jedzenie bardzo dobre. Zamówiliśmy po pół pizzy, pół Margherita i pół BBQ. Miało być dla każdego po pół, a kelner źle zrozumiał i dał nam tylko po połowie pizzy 🤷‍♀️ Dlatego musieliśmy domówić makaron: jeden z pesto bazyliowym, a drugi z pomidorami i rukolą. Ogólnie było dobre 👏 Ich empfehle 💪👏

Unfortunately it was now far too expensive. If you don't order extra mozzarella with a pizza caprese, you might end up with three slices of mozzarella on it. A pizza for €18 is not justified. There are much better pizzerias there.

Pizza is fine. However, there are much better ones to be found in the area for the price. The restaurant is always very full and the aisles are sometimes narrow.

As always, I felt really comfortable during the visit. Very good service, delicious food.

We love L'Osteria! The food is delicious, the atmosphere is great and what really makes the difference is the very attentive and ultimately friendly staff. There's heart in it and it shows. Always my pleasure!

What was really nice was the friendly welcome. We didn't have a reservation, but we were warmly welcomed and told that if we waited at the counter for 10 minutes, it would be our turn. We got something to drink at the counter, were able to look at the menu, were told again that it would be our turn soon, so that was as it should be. The pizzas were good. Not very good, but good. My wife's pizza could still have been returned because it was slightly burnt in some places. But because my wife was really hungry and it was clear to her that she couldn't eat everything, she accepted it. Only with a pizza costing over €18 can you expect it to fit. My wife had the pizza with Nduja. Where Nduja was, she was very good, but there wasn't much to it. I had a pizza with spicy salami and mushrooms as extra toppings. The salami was really a bit spicy so it was good. I didn't like the waiter's reaction when we mentioned the many burnt pieces of pizza again at the end. I don't expect a free drink or a voucher. But it should be more than a shrug of the shoulders. Otherwise you get what you would expect in a L’Osteria. It's big, it's full, but not uncomfortably loud, you like the ambience or you don't (I like it). In that respect: everything is okay. I don't know whether I'll go there again because I actually prefer the smaller, cozy restaurants and our visit here was spontaneous. But I really wouldn’t resist visiting a L’Osteria again.

The best pizza I've eaten so far in my life, the atmosphere is great and the staff is also nice and polite. In my opinion, you could even charge more money for the pizzas because you can tell and taste that they are made from high quality ingredients.

Food tastes great. Ambience is also great. Prices seem humane on the menu at first, even when you consider the huge pizza. If 20 grains don't end up on the piece for an extra 6 pieces of pineapple or extra corn for a surcharge of 1.50 euros, it seems a bit poor. But otherwise always worth a visit.

Delicious Italian dishes and always busy

Despite having a reservation, we had to wait 30 minutes for our table! Impossible! Then why make a reservation at all? As an extra, one dish was completely forgotten.

As always, it was very tasty 👍 But unfortunately we were all very cold in the winter garden.🥶

We come here more often as it is very close and offers parking. The pizzas are tasty, but have a very thin dough and the ingredients could be a little more generous. Overall, the pasta is okay, but not exceptional. :) Our highlight is definitely the chocolate soufflé with mango-passion fruit sorbet - incredibly delicious! I always enjoy the excellent coffee...👌🏻

The pizza is delicious but the price is honestly not justified. There is too little dough and WAY too little on the pizza. Extra ingredients cost more than a pack of the respective product and then you get a fork. See “spinach” added on the large pizza and the regular topping on the vegetarian pizza without cheese. And then an average of €16 for the pizzas.

Although the opening time is stated at 11 p.m., when we arrived at 11 p.m. the restaurant had already put up all the chairs and closed the kitchen. There was only brief and concise information: “There haven’t been any guests there for a while.” It's a shame, then maybe the opening times should be adjusted?! We took a major detour. A disappointing experience at L'Osteria Aachen Our recent visit to L'Osteria Aachen was unfortunately marked by numerous inadequacies in service. Already at the beginning of our stay we were not adequately welcomed, which forced us to queue again at the reception to finally be escorted to our table. The lack of structure and order among the service staff was obvious. The speed at which our order was taken also left something to be desired. Unfortunately, the negative impressions didn't stop there. Not once were we asked if we had any further requests - an aspect that is particularly disappointing since significant sales could be generated here, just in passing. After our main course we would have liked to have a dessert. But after an hour of waiting, we still weren't asked if we wanted to order anything else or even pay. Inevitably we went to the counter to finally express our wish. Unfortunately, the catastrophic service continued there too - we had to wait over ten minutes and finally I asked if we could pay. It is incomprehensible why the service staff, who were able to squeeze past us unhindered on the left and right, neglected to ask us how we could be helped. Urgent training of service personnel is clearly appropriate here. The food was at least acceptable for an establishment of this type.

Sep. 2019 - Well at least the pizza here is quite tasty and - as some have already written - huge. They fall far beyond the edge of the plate, which is why the plate is placed outside in the summer with a round paper base. I would classify service as normal. The pizza at least is worth the stars. I can't rate anything else here.

Not a pizza or pasta fan. I know. I know. But husband wants Italian every night. The menu had a zoodle substitute, and great options for all the Italian lovers. The side salad was perfectly dressed. Fun atmosphere and staff was great!

Just absolutely awesome. Still got a table without a reservation. Service was super quick and I didn't have to wait long for the drinks while eating and I was there again 2 days later and it was again a poem from start to finish.

We only had to wait a short time until our reserved table became available. It was also very crowded. We were there with 11 people. Then we were brought to the table and we were immediately served in a friendly manner. There was no rush even though it was so full. In the meantime, people were also asked whether they were satisfied. So from the staff to the food to the payment, we were all satisfied.

We left L'Osteria behind for a long time. Today I ask myself, why? Our first visit to the restaurant in Aachen was very good. Friendly, fast service, very tasty pizzas, good children's meals, great atmosphere, we were completely happy and will stop by more often from now on. Top.

Pizzas weren't completely cooked. Poor ventilation and heating. Too warm when the sun is shining, too cold later. Service could be better. Unfortunately, things have gotten steadily worse over the last few visits. No comparison to Losteria Düren.

The pizza was quite ok. However, I wouldn't go there again to eat pizza. The pizza dough is just as thin as a tarte flambée. Used sparingly. But it still tasted good.

I ate the rocket scampi spaghetti 😊 it was delicious! My girlfriend had arugula pizza, it was huge! 😉 the atmosphere is very cozy, a very large loft atmosphere 👍 the waitress was really super accommodating and friendly!

The food was great, unfortunately the service was a disaster. Only upon request did we receive a children's chair, coasters for our pizzas, plates, etc. No initiative at all from the staff. More or less it was a check-in from the guest.

Today we once again spent a lovely evening at L`Osteria. Our reservation request for the place was fulfilled. The service was quick and friendly. We always find new special dishes in the monthly menu. The Insalata Gorgonzola is our recommendation. The pizzas were also a complete delight.

Were in a L'Osteroa branch for the first time. I wouldn't repeat it more often. The pizzas tasted rather bland. Considering there was so little going on, things were slow. The service was attentive and very friendly. The inventory is a bit worn. Something could be invested here again.

Disaster!!! We have on November 9th. Ordered 2 pizzas online for pickup. The pizzas weren't ready at the specified pickup time, okay. After waiting for a while, it was explained to me that one of the two pizzas had fallen on the floor and was therefore being remade. Until then, okay too. But what is absolutely unacceptable: >>> The pizza that didn't fall on the floor apparently wasn't kept warm. She was completely cold, which I only discovered when I got home. I would have expected that either both pizzas would be made from scratch (we're just talking about a Margherita when it comes to the cold pizza) or that the older pizza would at least be kept warm. >>> The "new" pizza should be topped with egg, garlic and spinach. There was egg, almost no garlic at all and, in particular, there were only a few spinach leaves spread somewhere on the pizza. In itself it was a Margeritha with egg. The ingredients were completely saved here. Conclusion: Cold pizza, long waiting time, hardly any pizza, and at a relatively high price. Very bad, definitely not worth the money and definitely the last time.
