The food was absolutely delicious. However, the pasta portions left much to be desired. No bread was served, and it wasn't very filling. The pizzas, on the other hand, were excellent. The service itself was five stars, as we had a wonderful, friendly waitress. She had black curly hair in a braid and wore glasses. Many other waitresses could learn a thing or two from her, including the one who served us last. She was a bit taller and had shorter curls. She simply took it for granted that she would keep the change, even though no one had said anything about it. I personally found that very disappointing and quite rude. We even gave the lovely waitress an extra tip. Please work on your service and be grateful for that one wonderful waitress, because she clearly loves her job!

We had reserved a table for two for December 31, 2025. We were given a very small table. The restaurant was only about a quarter full. Of the order we placed, only one item arrived. We were told there had been a mistake with the second order and that they were working on it as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, we had to wait about 15 minutes for the second order to arrive. By then, I had almost finished eating. I expected a different response than just an apology. I cannot recommend this service. At least some small compensation would have been appropriate, but nothing of the sort was offered. Very disappointing.

Upon arrival, the staff went out of their way to find us a table suitable for a person with reduced mobility, which was much appreciated. The menu was brought to us promptly, and our order was taken without any waiting. However, there was a slight hiccup with the service: we had ordered an aperitif to start, but the main courses arrived before our drinks, which was a bit of a shame. The portions, on the other hand, are truly enormous; you definitely won't leave the table hungry. The prices are reasonable for what's served, and the quantity/price ratio is excellent. Our only real drawback was that the dining room is quite noisy, which can slightly spoil the experience if you're looking for a quiet place.

We arrived without a reservation on a busy day during Christmas and we were seated very quickly, even though the place was fully packed. There was a little bit of a wait to order food and drinks, but they served them fast.

The food, especially the pizza, tasted as good as ever. Unfortunately, the service was truly awful. Drinks ordered at the bar were supposed to be brought to the table. Twenty minutes later, the first server finally arrived, naturally without the drinks. Sadly, we only saw the server three times all evening, and only once after we repeatedly tried to get her attention. While she was at our table, she seemed stressed, overwhelmed, and annoyed, especially by her phone, which she barely looked away from. Yet, she had plenty of time for personal phone calls (while she was standing right there with us!). It doesn't make a good impression at all when you're not even looked at while trying to order. The payment process took another ten minutes because the voucher scanning system seemed to have a very limited function, and the server had to return to the bar several times to sort things out. Despite the good food, it was a rather disappointing experience.

We were at the restaurant today [Sunday], two adults and two small children. It was less than half full. The waitress came to us exactly 20 minutes later and served us. We ordered three pizzas, and they weren't ready for 32 minutes. That means the food didn't arrive until 52 minutes after we sat down, and it wasn't even busy. We were really disappointed, especially with two small children who kept asking when our food would arrive. The pizzas arrived, but they weren't topped as usual and were even thinner than normal. If you can't eat the pizza quickly, it gets so hard and thin it's like potato chips. It was a complete disaster today, and we definitely won't be going back to that place. To top it all off, someone came in next to us with a dog, which we didn't like at all. That's just unacceptable.

The food was delicious. We had two pasta dishes, and they were perfectly prepared. The staff was very helpful. The salt shaker had broken open, spilling all over the pasta. The staff immediately made and brought us a new portion. Because it's a larger restaurant, it can be noisy, but it didn't bother us.

Most pasta dishes come with wine and alcohol. Not much choice. The pizza is good, though. Everything else is pretty standard.

Generally speaking, you can't go wrong with L'Osteria. They serve delicious pizza, as well as other Italian dishes. The portion sizes are good and filling. Everyone can find something to eat here, including vegetarians and vegans, who have also been able to enjoy vegan pizza for the past few years. I ordered online from this particular branch, but unfortunately, I entered the wrong email address. So, I called to ask when I could pick up my pizza, since I hadn't received an email. The response was unfriendly: "You specified 8 a.m., so pick it up at 8 a.m." I understand the employee's frustration, but they could have communicated that better. Furthermore, I ordered a vegan pizza with arugula and extra bread. When I unpacked my pizza at the hotel, I found a vegan Margherita pizza, and in the container where I expected my bread, I found loose arugula and Parmesan cheese. That's definitely not what I expected. A shame. Nevertheless, I will return.

I was there a few weeks ago on the weekend with my son. Reserving a table was easy, even at short notice. Plenty of seating inside and outside. We sat inside. The service was fast, professional, and friendly. I had a mixed salad with fillet strips. We didn't have to wait long for drinks and food. However, my salad tasted awful. They didn't serve fresh salad from the market, but rather an industrial product from a bag, which, as we all know, contains preservatives. Unfortunately, the salad wasn't washed and tasted and smelled musty. The fillet strips were well grilled, but the portion was only about 150g. The dressing was simple. At €15, the price-performance ratio was completely out of whack. The waitress was informed of the poor quality, who then informed the restaurant manager, who came to us shortly after. Only upon inquiry did the waitress admit that they used preserved produce and obviously hadn't washed it again before serving. I wasn't offered a refund, but I did receive a free dessert upon request. Instead of one star, we're giving it two stars because of the friendly service and the free dessert.

We, a couple, went to Losteria for the first time on October 20, 2025, but also for the last time. We each ordered a pizza and two large beers with aoli ​​sauce. (Tunfish pizza and pepperoni salami pizza.) Total cost over €43 😄 The beer was well chilled and good. The pizzas were, in our opinion, as soft as a rag 😩 and sparsely topped!!! The salami was absolutely greasy. The crusts on the pizzas were the best! For us, pizzas should be crispier! We didn't like it at all!! Apart from the price, which is also way too high!! The restaurant is very loud; the music blasts, forcing customers to speak louder. I mentioned it to the staff, and they told me it's even louder back there. The pizzas aren't cooked all the way through; the dough is raw.

There were five of us (two adults and three children) at L'Osteria and we wanted something to eat. We were allowed to choose our own table, and shortly after, the weekly menu was brought to us – but that was unfortunately it. Despite repeated eye contact with the service staff, we were ignored. After about 15 minutes of waiting in vain for someone to take our drink or food order, we left the restaurant disappointed. It's a shame, we were really looking forward to the food – but the service was unfortunately nonexistent.

We waited over an hour and a half for one (!) pizza, and the place wasn't even that busy at that time (Saturday afternoon around 3 p.m.). Unfortunately, the side salad we ordered didn't arrive until after we'd already finished our pizza, about 20 minutes later. It was returned. When we asked when the pizza would arrive, the server simply said he didn't know and walked on. We weren't even asked once during the wait if we wanted something to drink. It's a shame; we won't be coming back.

Unfortunately, the Caesar salad wasn't particularly fresh. The lettuce stalks with brown streaks remained on the plate (they don't actually belong in the salad bowl, but in the organic waste). The chicken strips weren't as tender as expected either. When the waitress asked us at the end if everything was okay, we complained. However, we had to pay for the entire salad. We could have had a coffee as compensation, but due to time constraints, that wasn't possible (despite pre-ordering, we had to wait a long time for the food). The pizzas (Margherita, Salami and Shredded Cheese, and Salsiccia Piccante) were good. Be careful with the Dolce Vita promotion. It's not the quantity of pizzas that matters, but who pays for them.

Great pizzas, good value for money

Unfortunately, the waiters at the Aachen city center location are very slow and inattentive, and they misunderstand many things. It's a shame. We came with the entire company at lunchtime and waited 45 minutes for drinks. The food then took another 45 minutes. We won't be coming back until the situation improves. We've tried several times now, and the atmosphere is nice after all.

Really chic decor, great service, and delicious food! They swapped out an ingredient without any problems (not everyone does that). We'll definitely be coming back more often now :)

I visited L'Osteria with my children today. I ordered a barbecue chicken pizza. It felt like a pizza half a meter in diameter arrived, and I could count the chicken pieces on one hand. So, if you cut the pizza into eighths, there wouldn't be a single piece of chicken on it. I find that very disappointing and unacceptable for such a large pizza chain. The service was very satisfactory, but the prices are absolutely overpriced for what you get.

Fantastic service! Turned up without a reservation on a busy Tuesday in late August and were seated almost straight away. There was a little bit of a wait to give our order, but the food and drink arrived really quickly. The meals were outstanding. Amazing pizza and pasta dishes, we even had a plain pizza pane to soak up the lovely pasta sauces. Would definitely recommend!
