A highly inconsistent pizzeria—one week certain rules apply, the next week customers are suddenly banned from many things. The pizza is delicious, but the pizzeria's rules change at lightning speed.

I would strongly advise avoiding this restaurant. Unfortunately, the service was extremely disappointing. The staff came across as unprofessional and inattentive, and at times even dismissive. We waited over an hour and a half just to place a simple order, and during that time the staff did not make us feel welcome. Their attitude — including unfriendly looks and visible impatience whenever we asked for assistance — made the experience very unpleasant. Cleanliness was also far below expectations: the environment did not feel hygienic and the overall atmosphere was uncomfortable. In short, this was one of the most negative dining experiences we’ve had, and I cannot recommend this place.

My pizza dream come true 😍 50cm in diameter, and so fluffy and juicy at the same time. The service was incredibly attentive and courteous, thoughtful, despite being very busy. The food and drinks arrived quickly and were absolutely delicious. Thank you, thank you 🤩

Good pizza BUT after you pay 7 euro for a piece, you have to pay an additional 6 euro to sit at the restaurant. Complete joke. A client should be informed before paying… McDonald didn’t mind me sitting at their table outside comparing to La Pizzetta even though I was eating their pizza…

Very good pizza but pretty expensive.

The pizza can be good. 5 euros a piece. What I didn't like was that if you eat it while sitting down, they add 2 euros. I thought it was a cover charge, but they instead add it per item. So 3 items are 6 euros. They also tried to rip me off by asking me 34 euros for 3 pieces... then immediately corrected themselves by asking 22.50... when in reality I should have spent 15. Be careful when you sit down. Eat out and take out.

The employee is bad and the food is very average. I will not repeat the visit. The employee Abu Khashem tries to provoke Arabs, and he is originally Egyptian. All the employees are Arabs, but they speak foreign, even with Arabs. We had a fight with Abu Khashem. He tries to provoke us to fight with him. I expect that he will repeat these actions so that we fight with him and get fined and make money. My advice is to avoid it. Bad restaurant and bad employees.

Very tasty pizza with an excellent quality. Extremely large slice. Try the one with rucola and prosciutto!

The pizza was delicious. However, because I was a tourist who couldn't speak the language, they laughed and asked me to order four pizzas instead of one! When they confirmed my order, they changed the subject, and when the food came out, they said it was four pizzas... I couldn't help but laugh. Do you think three people, excluding two children, would order like that? I won't be back. They demanded a tip.

The worst customer service I've ever experienced. The waiter treated us very badly. There were ten of us, and we only ordered drinks. The waiter chased us every time we wanted to go to the bathroom and wouldn't let one person leave until they paid the bill. Just because we had one beer, he told us not to come back because they didn't need customers like that. I work with customers myself, and this kind of behavior is completely unacceptable. We asked him to call the manager, but he just laughed and said the manager wouldn't serve us because we hadn't consumed "enough."

Was looking the restaurant on Xmas day and this one is open, food and price was nice but when we paid the staff said all credit card machine was not working, we paid by cash BUT we found out they didn’t gave the right change! We return back to restaurant and asked the staff and he’s suddenly being rude said is the service charge. Feel rude coz they didn’t tell it and usually restaurant will ask customer to give the service charge or not. But disappointed with this although the food is not bad.

The food was very good. The service was very attentive and polite. The music was sometimes a bit loud. Otherwise, it was perfect.

One of the few places which has authentic Italian pizza! My recommendation is Margherita and caprese pizza , normal fries panna cotta for dessert 🍮

Our Italian restaurant in Munich... La Piazetta offers everything we could wish for. Tegernseer beer on tap, great pizzas until late at night, and friendly service. It's in a prime location, which is why we love coming here every time we visit Munich.

We ate inside and apparently the prices are more expensive if you do so, but they didn't say anything about it. The price of the pizza was so expensive, a single slice, even if it is big, was 7.50€ or more if you eat it inside and not take it away. The cola was 4€, which is normal if it wasn't a plastic bottle 💀 The pizzas were not the greatest either, they're big, but not tasty enough to be that expensive.

Unfortunately, the service was quite disappointing. The food was okay, but certainly nothing to get upset about.

I went twice in one trip. I sat both inside and outside. Simply amazing pizzas and pastries. The attitude and behavior are excellent. I highly recommend it. The spicy salami and four-cheese options are especially worth trying. The seating area inside is warm and cozy, while the outside area offers a wonderful view. Ideal for delicious conversation.

The waiter was very unfriendly and didn't want to serve us. The pizza was okay, but there are better pizzas and service elsewhere.

I tried the risotto, which was great, but they put peas with it, which ruined the taste. The Margherita pizza was good. We ordered ravioli pasta, which wasn't good. It arrived boiled without any sauce. When I told them I wanted sauce with it, they brought it, and in the end, they charged me for it. There was an Egyptian person there, and most of the guests were Indian. The price is high, not worth it.

We only had a drink here. The service is not flexible at all. If you want to eat a slice of pizza outside at the tables, no, that's not possible; they only serve takeout. The atmosphere outside on the street is not pleasant.

Excellent Italian restaurant: pizza, risotto, pasta, and soups; in the city center with a nice atmosphere; reasonable prices and excellent for families after shopping and visiting historical sites; "Saad from dear Egypt 🇪🇬" The service manager is the epitome of taste and kindness

Very tasty food! Especially tasty pasta Carbonara and Caesar salad!

Stopped by on a busy Saturday night ordered pizza and truffle fries which were great. Our waiter Ali was superb and I enjoyed our conversation with him however, I thought the guy in the white shirt was a miserable prick, I saw him shouting at Ali. Because of that I wouldn’t visit again.

I love pizza slices. The pizza is thick, toppings generous and the slices are large. The quality is always consistent, delicious. The salads are big and very tasty.

In my opinion this is the best pizza in Munich.

Everything perfect, great service

The pizza comes with hair, but without an apology. If you want your money back, you can still argue why you want the full 8 euros for the slice of pizza and not just 5, since you've already eaten it. Do they sell it again?

A good Italian restaurant right on Marienplatz, they also sell pizza 🍕 by the slice. The quality and service are excellent, and they also have extended opening hours.

Never go there. They are very rude and you start getting scolded before you even finish ordering. When you ask for a slice of pizza, they don't let you sit at the table. I understand that. We just asked for pizza and they said you can't sit without a drink and they removed us from the table. I can't drink with food because of my health problem, we said we don't want a drink, while we were thinking about what to choose for the child, he scolded us and removed us from the table. We sat right on the street. That's why the ambiance only gives it 4 stars. However, we could have sat on a side street. Service was fantastic. The food was delicious. There was just too much cheese on the pizza for my taste—but opinions differ. 😅

The pizza is good, the bruschetta is good...the pasta (carbonara) not so much. However, the service is terrible; it takes ages to serve the table, the food took a long time, and at the end, a rude and impolite waiter came to bring the bill. Another detail: the pizzas sold by the slice were far superior to those delivered to the table.

Absolutely terrible pizza, rude staff. Critical reviews here are actively contested and removed, as though random passerbys would have some deep seated grudge against them. No, you evoke negative emotions enough for someone to waste 2 minutes on google to review you. Twice now, never again.

My wife and I would definitely not recommend this restaurant due to the rude service! We wanted to enjoy a coffee outside at 5:45 PM on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, and we were immediately asked to leave because they said you're only allowed to drink there if you've eaten something?!?! The main thing was that the table behind us also had something to drink, just because it was alcoholic. Absolutely rude and not recommended!

The food was delicious and served promptly. Unfortunately, a football match was on, and the waiters were more focused on the game than on their work. On top of that, the TV volume was extremely loud. A request to lower the volume was denied, as other guests would have preferred it. So, if you're looking for a football pub, this is the place to be.

I will never recommend this restaurant to anyone. The server was rude to the core. We had to pay 2EUR/person to eat on their table. The server was very harsh to everyone in Italien language. He doesn’t even know how to talk to the customers. I gave one star here and that’s even for the guy on the counter.

One of the worst waiters I’ve ever dealt with. The person who took our order was extremely rude, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional. He appeared to be of Egyptian nationality, and instead of offering any basic hospitality, he acted arrogantly, as if he was doing us a favor. He lacked the ability to speak proper English or Arabic, and showed zero customer service skills, no manners, and absolutely no courtesy. This kind of behavior is unacceptable in any restaurant. If this is the kind of staff being hired, then the management seriously needs to reconsider its standards. Customers deserve respect, not attitude.

This is a place selling pizza slices run by Indians. Not a restaurant open till 1am!! "Italian restaurant"?? You gotta be joking. Ridiculous.

The food was delicious. It was chewy like a stone oven pizza, and the pasta was delicious, so my parents liked it. The staff also listened to my requests (such as appetizers) well, which was nice. However, I was surprised when the staff brought me the receipt with a 10% tip even though I didn't ask for it. The food was delicious and the staff service was satisfactory, so I thought I should tip, but before I could say anything, they brought me the receipt with the tip. When I asked what it was, they simply said 'service charge', but since I was traveling, I didn't want to blush and argue, so I paid the amount written down. If they automatically included a tip because I looked like a tourist, I would be disappointed...

Zain Restaurant is okay. I only ate their white and red pasta, and it was delicious, Italian style. Thank you.

Eight euros a PIECE of pizza and only for take away. We were refused food in the store because it literally cost 'twice as much'. It really is crazy. The city/consumer advice center should really check whether this complies with the law.

We already walked past the restaurant because it is very centrally located on Marienplatz. Today we decided to eat there. We chose pasta (spaghetti bolognese & penne all'arrabiata). There was also garlic, chili oil and parmesan. We found this very positive because you could adjust the spiciness to your taste. The order came quickly, the service was friendly. All in all: A recommendation. Top!

Really very good pizza. But the service was inattentive, the toilets were unreasonable and overall the store was rather unclean. I also didn't need the extremely loud party music while eating, but okay, it was a Saturday night. I would prefer other pizzerias in the future.

As visitors to the city, we chose the restaurant near our hotel. We ordered calamari Livornese, turkey breast salad and 2 pizzas. I can recommend calamari! Reasonably priced, friendly service, waiting time was reasonable.

Scam with a drink charge of 4.50 without authorization, unpleasant waiter, toilets in poor condition, bad smell, and clogged sink that overflows, water at 8€ a bottle, no possibility of having a jug of water. I am extremely disappointed...

Serveur insolent, 8.20 € pour une bouteille d'eau et impossible de commander une carafe d'eau, tentative d'arnaque en forçant a payer un pourboire a un prix totalement exagéré car ils ont remarqué que nous étions des touristes, refus de payer séparément par carte. Les toilettes sont tout en bas d'un escalier inquiétant, a côté des poubelles du restaurant, le robinet ne marche pas. A la place, le lavabo a été rempli d'eau (avec quelques poils qui flottent dedans).

Spent Champions League evening here. Great atmosphere. You really can't complain about the food. The waiter was extremely personable. Everything is clean and the prices are reasonable for downtown Munich.

They wanted to blame us for having damaged a metal utensil to serve the pizza... clearly they gave it to us that way from the beginning but I suppose that since we ordered a round of tequila shots, they thought it would be easy to attribute the damage to us for believing that we were all drunk and make us pay an extra 30 euros on the bill. Finally we even had to call the police!!!!!! since the atmosphere began to become violent and threatening due to our refusal to respond and pay for something we did not do. They said that they had seen videos of us damaging this spatula... I told them: the moment they let us see those videos and confirm it, we will gladly pay. Obviously they refused. The place is a scam…. Before this happened, we had finished paying our bill and leaving a tip… it is very disappointing and sad to go through these deceptive situations… it felt terrible. I hope no one else ever wants to come here and go through this.

The Napoli pizza and the olive oil spaghetti are authentic. Service is fast and friendly. And they have nice beer selection… best to go with pizzas.

We ate there as a family. It's amazing how far back the restaurant is and how many seats there are. This is not obvious from the outside. The staff was extremely friendly, the food was really good. The prices are as usual in Munich. We'd love to come back.

First night we went there was great. Food good and friendly waitress.we paid by card and tipped...So, we went back. The next night.Went to pay by card...waiter made me walk inside to use the wireless card reader....then said my ( near zero balanced ) card declined....and wanted cash...I could tell he was xxxxxx when we wanted to pay card.....very rude,,,Never again!,,

Primero el restaurante parecía un quiosco, pero cuando entramos más profundo en el interior era muy acogedor y agradable! La puzza era súper bueno! El camarero era agradable y divertido, a pesar de que éramos 16 personas borrachas que se divertían mucho y haciendo algo de ruido.

The actual restaurant is a bit hidden behind the fast food counter but has its own charm with great and fast service and very good pizzas. The cappuccino was very good.

Impudence, simply impudence! I had a very bad experience at La Pizzeta in September 2024. It was Saturday evening and I was sitting outside with a friend. We ordered a light and an Aperol Spritz. So far so good. When we wanted to pay (16 euros with tip), I did so with the card. The waiter typed something on the terminal, didn't show me the final amount and, stupid of me, I put my card on it. The next day I see an upcoming booking in my account for 160 euros and was wondering what it was. When the amount was debited, I saw that it was from La Pizzeta. The next day I went and told everything to a nice waitress (German). She listened to me and forwarded my concern to her What's up group, saying that someone would get back to me. Three days later nothing happened, so I went there for the second time and the same girl was there again. I tell her that no one has contacted me yet and she even showed me the group chat where she forwarded everything and said that I should wait a few more days. Another 3 days go by, nothing again. I'm going there for the third time. Apparently the boss was there that day (around 30 and very arrogant). I explain everything to him again because he supposedly didn't know anything about it. Apparently he had already made the transfer but I still give him my card to write off the Iban. It misspelled my iban (accidentally? Don't think so). He promised me that the transfer would follow. Nothing again. At this point I was really pissed off. Then go there for the fourth time, it was a Wednesday around 10 o'clock in the evening. I told the waitress my request again and she said the boss went home recently and I should come tomorrow. After I said "they won't finish work today if I don't get my money, even if the police come", they called the boss and he was supposed to come in 5 minutes. I wait a moment, then after two minutes the boss called and told them to give me my money. So after 10 days and going 4 times I got my money. And I had all the evidence that proved the intentional mistake, I would say, and I got my money back. What an absolute disgrace. 🤮

Unfortunately, I couldn't go to the football stadium for health reasons, but we were welcomed here without any problems and, above all, in a very friendly manner, even though we only ate a little something. We asked if we could just have a drink and watch ⚽️, and we were given a friendly answer: very welcome, of course. So we'll definitely be back, and we'd love to eat too 👍🤩

No tenía muchas esperanzas de encontrar un buen lugar para comer alrededor de las 11 de la noche en Múnich, pero este lugar era excelente. Nos sentamos y el servicio fue muy rápido y amable. La comida era preciosa e incluso nos ofrecieron tiros gratis de baileys después de la comida. El personal era muy servicial, ofreciendo consejos para nuestro próximo destino de vacaciones. Recomendaría 100% y volvería!

La pizza era deliciosa y el servicio era excelente, a pesar de estar muy ocupado con los aficionados al fútbol durante la Eurocopa. La ubicación es muy céntrica, y sin duda volvería a comer aquí.

Really delicious! We each had a piece of salsiccia and tomato mozzarella. Dough was crispy and airy. Everything could have been a little hotter, but the taste was very good.
